AllTheTweaks is the mod behind the ATM Star items in this pack, and the pack ships version 2.12.1. It adds ATM Star, ATM Star Block, ATM Star Shard and Patrick Star. It also adds the three miniature portals (Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal), plus Dimensional Seed, Dragon Soul, Oblivion Shard, Pulsating Black Hole and Wither's Compass.^[1][2][3]

Where the quest book puts it

The ATM Star path runs through "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", which sits in the "Main Questline" group as chapter 7 of 67 in the book. That chapter has quests asking for the mod's items, so yes, the ATM Star path uses this mod. Here is what the quests shown for that chapter tell you about the order:^[2]

• The three miniature portal quests, for example a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", all come after the Apothic Mods quest.^[2]
• The "Dimensional Seed" quest quest comes after all three portal quests, along with several block quests and the Teleposer.^[2]
• The "Patrick Star" quest quest comes after a set of magenta, pink, green and lime concrete quests.^[2]
• The quests for "Wither's Compass" quest, "Dragon Soul" quest, "Oblivion Shard" quest and "Pulsating Black Hole" quest each come after a long list of earlier quests.^[2]

What comes next: Chapter 4

The next chapter, "Chapter 4: Creative", is chapter 8 of 67 in the same group and has 37 quests. It is about automating the star. "Starry Bee!" quest asks for ATM Star Block, and "Star Shards" quest asks for ATM Star Shard and says you need 262 Star Shards to remake 1 Star. "Infused Patrick Star" quest asks for Patrick Star. The chapter shows "Fully Automated ATM Star" quest, which asks for ATM Star.^[3]

Unverified The quest text for 21 of the 37 quests in Chapter 4 and for most of Chapter 3 is not included in the sources here, so any further uses of this mod's items in them are unverified. Check those chapters in the quest book.

AllTheTweaks is the mod that gives this pack its ATM Star, and the quest book builds the start of the pack around it. The quests live in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" (chapter 7 of 67 in the Main Questline), and "Chapter 4: Creative" comes right after it and spends the finished Star on creative items. So your first goal is simple: work toward ATM Star, one piece at a time.^[2][3]

Step 1: Make a Patrick Star

The Patrick Star is the easiest piece to start with. Its quest ("Patrick Star" quest) unlocks after the coloured concrete quests (magenta, pink, green and lime, in block and powder forms), because the pack's recipes build it from concrete. There are two ways to craft it. One is a Create mechanical crafting recipe the pack added.^[2][4]

Step 2: Craft the three Miniature Portals

Next come Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal. All three quests (a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" and a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star") unlock after the "Apothic Mods" quest, so get that one done first. The quest text points you at Apotheosis shelves for these, and at Infused Dragon's Breath from enchanting for the End and Exit portals. These are decorative-looking blocks, but you can't walk through them.^[2]

Where this is heading

The Patrick Star and the Dimensional Seed both feed the pack's big ATM Star recipe, made in the Star Altar. That recipe also needs the other AllTheTweaks items: Dragon Soul, Improbable Probability Device, Nexium Emitter, Oblivion Shard, Philosopher's Fuel, Pulsating Black Hole and Wither's Compass. The pack's Star Altar recipe for the ATM Star.

After your first Star, Chapter 4 teaches you to remake it automatically. Its "Fully Automated ATM Star" quest ("Fully Automated ATM Star" quest) unlocks the creative items from other mods, and the "Runic Star Altar" quest ("Runic Star Altar" quest) sends you back to Chapter 3 to learn how to build and use the altar.^[3]

Unverified How to build the Runic Star Altar, and the text of most Chapter 3 quests (121 of its 127), are in the quest book. The sources here do not show them, so check the quests in game for those details.

In this pack, AllTheTweaks mostly acts as a supplier of crafting components and pack-identity settings. The sources here show no machines, multiblocks or power, fluid and item handling for it. What they do show is how its items are made and where the pack uses them, so that is what this section covers.^[4][5]

The ATM Star as a crafting key

The pack's own KubeJS script uses the ATM Star as the key ingredient in a whole set of creative-tier recipes from other mods. The pattern is always the same: you combine a late-game item from one mod with the star and get that mod's creative version.^[6]

• Energizing: four copies of a mod's energy storage item plus one ATM Star, in a Powah energizing recipe that costs 2,147,483,647 energy. The pack does this for the AE2 creative energy cell (from MEGA energy cells), the Integrated Dynamics creative energy battery, the Mekanism creative energy cube and the Powah creative energy cell (from nitro energy cells).^[6]
• Mekanism: the creative chemical tank and creative fluid tank are shaped recipes with an ATM Star Block in the centre, surrounded by ultimate tanks and unobtainium ingots.^[6]
• PneumaticCraft: the creative compressor and the creative compressed iron block are pressure chamber recipes at a pressure of 4.9, each using one ATM Star alongside stacks of 64 of other PneumaticCraft items.^[6]
• Ars Nouveau: the creative source jar comes from the enchanting apparatus, with the ATM Star as the reagent and source gem blocks and filled Allthemodium source jars on the pedestals.^[6]
• Other mods: the pack also adds ATM Star recipes for the EvilCraft creative blood drop, the Iron Jetpacks creative jetpack, and the Create creative blaze cake (mechanical crafting).^[6]
• The Railcraft creative locomotive is the exception: it uses an ATM Star Shard instead of a full star.^[6]

Config: pack identity and Discord presence

The mod's config file holds the pack's identity: window title, main menu branding, links and Discord Rich Presence. The option packmode.enable is set to 0, which is the ATM profile, out of a range of 0 to 8. That profile supplies the identity for anything left blank in the pack section.^[5][9]

• discord.discord is true, so Discord Rich Presence is enabled.^[9]
• pack.discord.application_id is set by the pack to 1,252,859,134,282,432,500. The mod default is 0, which takes the application from the packmode profile. The Discord application's name and uploaded art are what players see on the card.^[5][9]
• pack.discord.idle_messages holds a list of lines shown instead of the plain menu line while you sit in the menu. One is picked at random and swapped for another every minute.^[5][9]
• pack.discord.small_image is blank, so there is no corner icon on the card. The window icon options pack.window.icon_16 and pack.window.icon_32 are blank too, which means the bundled icons are used.^[5][9]

Progression in this pack is one long road to the ATM Star. The quest book puts it in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", chapter 7 of 67 in the Main Questline, and the final quest there, "ATM Star" quest, says that creating the ATM Star means you have beaten the pack.^[2]

Most of Chapter 3 is a tour of the mods you will need, with one intro quest per mod, such as "Mekanism" quest and "Applied Energistics" quest. The chapter has 127 quests. Each of the ATM Star's big ingredients has its own quest, with prerequisite quests that lead you through the mods needed to make it.^[2]

The Runic Star Altar

The ATM Star is crafted in the Runic Star Altar, a Modern Industrialization multiblock. The quest "Runic Star Altar" quest describes it as a 15x8x15 structure. You place the altar block, use a Modern Industrialization Wrench on it to see build highlights, then add item input hatches, item output hatches and energy input hatches. The altar needs a lot of FE per tick, and the quest says upgrades from Modern Industrialization can boost it.^[2]

The Awakened alloy block is made in a Star Altar too. Creative Essence is covered by the Mystical Agriculture follow-ups such as "4 Insanium Blocks" quest and "4 Insanium Gemstone Blocks" quest.^[2]

Each of these has a chapter 3 quest and a recipe the pack adds. The recipe blocks show the exact in-pack ingredients, so follow them rather than the flavour text.^[2][4]

Patrick Star comes first. Its quest, "Patrick Star" quest, follows the quests for the coloured concrete blocks it is built from. The pack gives it a Create mechanical crafting recipe and a Star Altar recipe. It also comes out of a pack-changed Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, along with Wax.^[2][4][8]

The Pulsating Black Hole ("Pulsating Black Hole" quest) draws on a wide spread of mods. Its prerequisites include "Lightning Bomb" quest and a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star".^[2]

After the first Star: Chapter 4

"Chapter 4: Creative" is chapter 8 of 67 in the Main Questline and has 37 quests. It is about automating the ATM Star so you can spend Stars on Creative items. You need Star Shards for this, and the quest "Patrick Star... Bee?" quest says to start with a Patrick Bee, which you can rarely get by fishing in Warm Oceans.^[3]

The "Starry Bee!" quest quest says right-clicking a Patrick Bee with an ATM Star Block gives you a Starry Bee. Starry Combs from those bees go into a centrifuge to rarely give ATM Star Shard. The pack also changes the crushing recipe so a Star can be turned into Star Shards.^[3][4]

AllTheTweaks is the glue for a lot of the pack's crafting. The ATM Star is an ingredient in many of the pack's creative items, and the Star itself is built from ingredients that come from dozens of other mods. Everything below comes from recipes the pack added or changed.^[4]

Creative items that use the ATM Star

• Energizing recipes (a Powah! recipe type) turn an ATM Star plus 4 of a lower-tier item into Creative Energy Cell (Applied Energistics 2 and MEGA Cells), Creative Energy Battery, Energy Cell (Creative) and Creative Energy Cube.^[4]
• PneumaticCraft: Repressurized pressure chamber recipes make Creative Compressed Iron Block and Creative Compressor.^[4]
• Ars Nouveau gives you Creative Source Jar through the enchanting apparatus, and All The Arcanist Gear adds Creative Spell Book.^[4]
• Creative Blaze Cake is a Create mechanical crafting recipe. It also asks for cakes from Create Crafts & Additions, Create: Enchantment Industry and both Pam's HarvestCraft mods (Pam's HarvestCraft - Food Core and Pam's HarvestCraft 2 - Food Extended).^[4]
• Creative Blood Drop comes from EvilCraft and needs 34,000 Blood along with the Star. The creative Jetpack from Iron Jetpacks also needs Creative Essence from Mystical Agradditions.^[4]
• Mekanism's Creative Chemical Tank and Creative Fluid Tank use an ATM Star Block and an Unobtainium Ingot from AllTheModium.^[4]
• Creative Locomotive from Railcraft Reborn only needs an ATM Star Shard, not a full Star.^[4]

In the quest book, "Chapter 4: Creative" (chapter 8 of 67, in the Main Questline group) covers automating the ATM Star. The "Fully Automated ATM Star" quest quest brings it together: the Infused Patrick Star, 5 Star parts, Corrupti Dust, Mundabitur Dust and the Lens of the Killer. The "Runic Star Altar" quest quest points you to Chapter 3 to learn how to build and use the altar. 26 of the quests in Chapter 4 are not covered here, so check the quest book for those.^[3]

The automated ATM Star recipe: the Lens of the Killer comes from actually-additions and the dusts from Forbidden and Arcanus .

Each of the 5 Star parts is made in the Star Altar from ATM Star Shards plus a different Forbidden and Arcanus item. One part takes 48 shards and the other four take 52 shards each.^[4]

The shards come from Productive Bees. The quests tell you to find a Patrick Bee (rarely, by fishing in Warm Oceans) and right-click it with an ATM Star Block to get a Starry Bee. Starry Combs from those bees go into a centrifuge to rarely give Star Shards. The pack changed the Starry Bee conversion and both centrifuge recipes. The Starry one outputs an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard, and the Patrick one outputs a Patrick Star and Wax.^[3][4]

The Infused Patrick Star is another Star Altar recipe. It uses 36 ATM Star Shards, 12 Infused Dragon's Breath from Apothic Enchanting and three alloy ingots from AllTheModium. The pack also has a Create mechanical crafting recipe for the base Patrick Star, built from colored concrete.^[4][8]

The pack also changed the Imperial Bee spawn egg recipe from Productive Bees so it needs an ATM Star Shard and a Soul Treat from ModularBees.^[4]

Compressed blocks

AllTheCompressed ties in with the AllTheTweaks blocks. The pack changed the compress recipes for ATM Star Block and Nether Star Block, and the decompress recipes for those two and Ender Pearl Block. Each decompress recipe turns one 1x compressed block into 9 of the matching AllTheTweaks block.^[4]

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

AllTheTweaks is the mod behind the ATM Star, so its items show up right at the end of the pack. You'll find them in two quest chapters: Chapter 3: The ATM Star, where you build your first star, and Chapter 4: Creative, where you turn the star into something you can mass-produce.^[12][13]

Chapter 3: The ATM Star

This chapter is the pack's endgame. Every big component is its own quest, and each one depends on a long list of late-game items from across the pack. All of them feed into the final "ATM Star" quest quest, where you make the ATM Star.^[12]

Start with the three miniature portals. a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" and a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" ask for the Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal. All three unlock after the Apothic Mods quest and lean heavily on Apotheosis enchanting shelves. The quest text calls the Exit Portal the most expensive portal you can make. Don't expect to use them as real portals, though: the quests joke that you're too big to walk through them.^[12]

Together with other prerequisites, the three portals unlock "Dimensional Seed" quest, which asks for the Dimensional Seed.^[12]

The rest of the star components each have their own quest, and you can work on them in any order:^[12]

• "Patrick Star" quest asks for the Patrick Star.^[12]
• "Dragon Soul" quest asks for the Dragon Soul.^[12]
• "Oblivion Shard" quest asks for the Oblivion Shard.^[12]
• "Pulsating Black Hole" quest asks for the Pulsating Black Hole.^[12]

Once all of those are done, plus a few extras like the Runic Star Altar and The Star's Casing, you can finish "ATM Star" quest. The quest confirms it: crafting the ATM Star means you've beaten the modpack.^[12]

Chapter 4: Creative

After your first star, the Creative chapter shows you how to make more with bees. In "Starry Bee!" quest, you right-click a Patrick Bee with an ATM Star Block to get a Starry Bee. You'll need another ATM Star Block for the bees to pollinate. Starry Bees make Starry Combs, and running those through a Centrifuge rarely gives you Star Shards.^[13]

Next, "Star Shards" quest asks for an ATM Star Shard. The quest warns that you need 262 Star Shards in total to remake one star, so build a solid bee setup before you start.^[13]

Then comes "Infused Patrick Star" quest. This quest asks for a Patrick Star, but the text explains that the goal is an Infused Patrick Star. Both are made in the Runic Star Altar, and the Infused version needs a regular Patrick Star plus Star Shards from your bees.^[13]

Finally, "Fully Automated ATM Star" quest brings everything together. You combine the Infused Patrick Star with the star parts you build from your shards to make new ATM Stars, 100% automated. From here, the creative items become much easier to craft.^[13]

AllTheTweaks has one config file you will care about, config/allthetweaks-common.toml, which includes discord.discord and the options around it. It handles pack branding and Discord Rich Presence, so nothing in it changes how the game plays. Here is how the pack sets it.^[9]

The one value the pack changed

pack.discord.application_id is the Discord application that Rich Presence connects to. The mod default is 0, which means it is taken from the packmode profile. This pack changes it to 1,252,859,134,282,432,500, so the pack connects to its own Discord application. The allowed range is 0 to 9,223,372,036,854,775,807.^[9]

• discord.discord is set to true, so Rich Presence is on. Set it to false if you do not want the game to show up on Discord.^[9]
• pack.discord.large_image is set to an asset key for the main image on the card. Leave it blank and the image comes from the packmode profile.^[9]
• pack.discord.small_image is blank in this pack, so there is no small corner icon on the card.^[9]
• pack.curseforge_url is filled in, which gives the card a CurseForge button. Leave it blank if you want no button.^[9]

Idle menu messages

pack.discord.idle_messages holds the lines shown instead of the plain menu line while you sit in the menu. One is picked at random and swapped for another every minute. This pack ships these lines: "Getting coffee", "Making a sandwich", "Reading the changelog", "Looking for the right button" and "Doomscrolling". Leave the list empty to always show the plain menu line.^[9]

Pack name and window icons

• pack.display_name is the pack name shown in the window title and on the branding lines. It is filled in here. Blank means it comes from the packmode profile.^[9]
• pack.window.icon_16 and pack.window.icon_32 are both blank, so the bundled icons are used. If you want custom icons, they are read from the allthetweaks folder next to the config file.^[9]

Packmode

packmode.enable is set to 0, the same as the mod default, with an allowed range of 0 to 8. It supplies the pack identity for anything left blank in the pack section. The values are ATM = 0, SLOP = 1, SKY = 2, MAGIC = 3, EXPERT = 4, GRAVITAS = 5, LITE = 6, AOA = 7 and MON = 8.^[9]

All the Mods 10 8.3 ships AllTheTweaks 2.12.1. The mod has been in the pack since All the Mods 10 0.32 or earlier, and it has been bumped many times since. The pack changelogs only record which version each release moved to, so this page is a timeline of those updates.^[1]
