What is Apotheosis?

2 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

Apotheosis is the big RPG-style loot and progression mod in the pack, and this pack ships version 8.7.0. It lets you strengthen any item you find, from vanilla or from other mods, while staying close to vanilla mechanics. It's built for players who want that feeling of getting stronger without the mod taking over the game.[1][2]

Under the hood it's split into modules: Apothic Attributes (new attributes and potion effects), Apothic Spawners (picking up and modifying mob spawners), Apothic Enchanting (a full overhaul of enchanting) and the Adventure module, which adds Affixes, Gems and World Tiers.[1]

The core loop

Affix Items are gear with bonuses. Their Rarity decides which affixes they get and how strong those are, running from Common up to Mythic. You find them in loot chests and as drops from mobs. Some also have sockets, where you can place Apothic Gems for extra bonuses.[1][3][4][5]

World Tiers are the progression system. There are five, from Haven through Frontier, Ascent and Summit to Pinnacle. Higher tiers give you better loot but also make every enemy in your world stronger. The default hotkey for the tier screen is CTRL+T.[1]

Where it fits in this pack

The pack's Apotheosis Gear quest chapter starts with a Gem dropped by mobs, which you get through "Apotheosis Adventure" quest. Next you smash gems with an anvil to get Gem Dust, then craft a Salvaging Table to break affix items down into rarity materials.[6]

After that you can build a Simple Reforging Table, which reforges items up to Rare. Upgrading it to a Reforging Table is what lets you reforge Epic and higher.[6][7]

The end-game station is the Augmenting Table. It upgrades or rerolls individual affixes on an item. You craft it by focusing a Nether Star through two Godforged Pearl items, using an Enchanting Table as the base.[8]

The pack also has a separate quest chapter for Apothic Spawners, which covers the spawner features of the mod.[9][10]

Tip: Craft the in-game guidebook, the Chronicle of Shadows, with a book and a gold ingot. Modpacks can change content, and disabled content won't show up in the book, so it reflects what's in this pack.[1]

How do you get started with Apotheosis?

6 parts

Apotheosis is all about affix gear and gems, and the pack's quest book covers it in the "Apotheosis Gear" chapter. That chapter sits in the "Tools and Gear" group (chapter 9 of 66) and has 29 quests. The order below follows how those quests unlock one another.[11]

Step one: get a gem

The chapter opens with "Apotheosis Adventure" quest, which says good gear starts with an Gem. The quest calls gems rare drops from any mob and confirmed drops from invaders, and for now it tells you to farm mobs and learn more later. Gems can also turn up in chest loot.[11][12]

Step two: crush gems into dust

"Gem Dust" quest asks for an anvil and a gem: smash the gem with a falling anvil to get Gem Dust. The quest recommends using only Common and Uncommon gems for this. Gem Dust goes into most of the crafting recipes below.[11][13][14]

Step three: build a Salvaging Table

Once you have dust, craft the Salvaging Table. It breaks affix items into Rarity Materials, and once you've crushed a few gems by anvil it can also turn gems into dust, so you don't need the anvil any more. The materials you get depend on the item's rarity.[11][13][15]

Each rarity gives its own material, and you'll want these for later steps:[14][15]

Step four: make Gem-Fused Slate and your first sigil

Gem-Fused Slate is the item that "Vials and Sigils" quest asks for. In the recipe dump, the Sigils of Socketing, Rebirth, Unnaming, Enhancement and Withdrawal all use it.[11][14]

To put a gem into gear, the item needs an open socket, then you combine the item and gem in a Smithing Table. If your item has no socket, the quest says a Sigil of Socketing used in a Smithing Table can give it up to 2 sockets.[11][12]

Step five: reforge and upgrade

The Simple Reforging Table works a bit like an Enchanting Table for affixes: put the item in the center slot, a Rarity Material in the left slot, and pick one of 3 choices, where the second and third cost more. It can only reach Rare affixes. It runs on Sigil of Rebirth as fuel.[7][11]

World Tiers

Hold an affixed item and you unlock World Tier: Haven, the first tier, which is set automatically. Open the World Tier menu by holding CTRL and pressing T. In Haven your Max Eterna is 30, and invaders can't spawn naturally. The next tiers need more gear and boss kills, and the quest book covers them chapter by chapter.[11]

Tip: The mod's in-game guidebook is the Chronicle of Shadows, which its description says you make with a book and a gold ingot. That description also warns that packs can change content, so check JEI for the exact in-pack recipes.[1]

How does Apotheosis work?

6 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.6 guide

Apotheosis doesn't run on machines in the power-and-pipes sense. Its systems are crafting stations you work through their own screens: you drop items into input slots, pick an option and pay with fuel items or experience. Here is how each one works in this pack.[17][18][19]

Salvaging Table

The Salvaging Table breaks affix items down into Rarity Materials. Those materials are the currency for reforging and for gem cutting, so this is where most of your loop starts.[19][20][21]

It also handles gems. Your first Gem Dust comes from dropping an Apothic Gem in the world and letting an anvil fall on it. After that you can use the Salvaging Table instead.[19][23]

Reforging

Reforging gives an item brand new affixes, and it works on any valid item, not just ones that already have affixes. You start with the Simple Reforging Table, which reforges up to Rare. For Epic and above you upgrade it into a Reforging Table.[18]

  • The center slot holds the item you want to reforge.[18]
  • The top-left slot holds Rarity Materials for the rarity you want to reforge with.[18]
  • The bottom-right slot holds Sigil of Rebirth, the fuel for reforging.[18][22]

Like a vanilla Enchanting Table, you get three choices, and none is inherently stronger than the others. Each rarity has a base cost of experience, sigils and materials. The extra choice slots charge double and triple that base cost. Click the choice you want to reforge. You can reforge the same item more than once.[18]

Tip: The guide notes that modpacks can change reforging costs or block reforging at certain rarities. The sources here don't show this pack's costs, so check the costs shown on the table itself.[18]

Augmenting Table

The Augmenting Table is an end-game station for working on individual affixes without touching the rest of the item. The upper slot takes the affix item, and the guide suggests keeping this for Mythic items, with Epic as a possible extra. The lower slot takes Sigil of Enhancement as fuel. Then you pick the affix from the drop-down menu.[17]

  • Upgrade: costs two Sigils of Enhancement and raises the affix's internal strength by 25%. How much that helps depends on the affix.[17]
  • Reroll: costs one Sigil of Enhancement and swaps the selected affix for another of the same type. The alternatives are shown on the left.[17]

The screen also shows an experience cost in levels, and it tells you when an affix is already at max level or has no alternatives.[19]

Gem Cutting and the Gem Case

The Gem Cutting Table upgrades gems. An upgrade usually costs Gem Dust, Rarity Materials and a second gem of the same purity. Higher purity costs more Gem Dust and higher-tier materials, and JEI shows the exact cost. A Perfect Gem can't be upgraded any further.[21][24]

The Gem Case is storage for gems. It holds a very large stack of gems of each type and purity, and it can be upgraded to hold more. It has a name filter and an item filter, which finds gems that fit a specific item.[25]

It also has six auxiliary slots for upgrade materials. With enough materials and gems, you can upgrade gems right inside the case, which makes the Gem Cutting Table obsolete. The upgrade button shows its cost, and there is an option to upgrade as many gems as possible.[19][25]

The Gem Case of House Fabergé has a vastly larger storage capacity than the normal case. You can't craft it directly, only create it through Infusion Enchanting.[19][25]

To socket a gem, combine it with the item in a Smithing Table. To take gems back out, combine the item with a Sigil of Withdrawal in a Smithing Table, and the item and all its gems are returned.[24]

Enchanting-side systems

Infusion Enchanting is a crafting method that runs through the Enchanting Table. Each infusion recipe has one item input and three stat requirements. Most have a minimum value, and some also have a maximum. Infusions only use the third slot. Place the item, and if your stats are right the slot lights up and you click it.[26]

Eterna is the primary stat, and each point raises the maximum enchanting level by two. Arcana is a secondary stat that controls the rarity weights. At 25% Arcana you will always receive at least two enchantments, and at 75% you will always receive three.[27]

The Enchantment Library stores enchantments as points when you insert enchanted books. Each library has a Level Capacity, the highest level it can store, and anything above that is voided. Clicking a stored enchantment extracts one level, and shift-clicking extracts as many levels as possible. You can also put a book in the output slot to add enchantments to it. The library only extracts up to the highest level ever inserted. The Library of Alexandria has a higher capacity than the standard one and can only be made through Infusion Enchanting.[28]

Spawner runes

The Spawner Module lets you move and modify mob spawners. This pack changes the recipes for several spawner runes, including Rune of Immolation, so use the recipe shown here rather than the mod's default.[22][29]

How do you progress through Apotheosis?

9 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

Apotheosis progression is built around World Tiers. There are five tiers: Haven, Frontier, Ascent, Summit and Pinnacle. Each one raises the world difficulty and the rewards beyond the last.[30]

World Tiers

Tiers don't switch on by themselves. You unlock a tier by completing advancements, then open the World Tier Select screen (CTRL+T by default), click the tier's symbol and press Activate. You can switch between tiers whenever you like, and in multiplayer each player can sit on a different tier.[31][32]

These are the default unlock requirements from the in-game guide:[32]

  • Haven: enabled by default, but you won't see it until you've picked up your first Affix Item.[32]
  • Frontier: equip an Affix Item in each armor slot and hold an Affixed Weapon in either hand.[32]
  • Ascent: equip a full set of Uncommon Affix Items, including a weapon, and slay an Apothic Invader.[32]
  • Summit: acquire a full set of Rare Affix Items and slay the Wither.[32]
  • Pinnacle: obtain a full set of Epic items and slay the Ender Dragon.[32]

The guide stresses that these are defaults and that modpacks may change them, so check the Apothic World Tiers advancements tab for the complete information.[32]

Which rarities show up in which tier

Tiers also control rarity weights, so higher rarities (and Invaders) get more common as you climb.[30]

The quest text for each rarity gives this overview:[6]

  • Common: the quest says it shows up most in Haven and stops appearing after Summit.[6]
  • Uncommon: the quest says it starts appearing in Haven, is most abundant in Frontier and stops in Pinnacle.[6]
  • Rare: the quest says it appears in all tiers and is most common in Ascent.[6]
  • Epic: the quest says it appears after Frontier and is most common in Pinnacle.[6]
  • Mythic: the quest says it is found only in Summit and Pinnacle, and is most common in Pinnacle.[6]

The gear path

The Apotheosis Gear quest chapter lays out a route through the crafting stations. This is the order its quests chain in:[6]

  1. "Apotheosis Adventure" quest: get an Gem. Gems are rare drops from any mob and confirmed drops from Invaders. For now, the quest just tells you to farm mobs for them.[6]
  2. "Gem Dust" quest: the quest says to smash a gem with a falling anvil to get Gem Dust, and recommends using only Common and Uncommon gems for this.[6]
  3. "Salvaging Table" quest: craft the Salvaging Table with your Gem Dust. The quest says it lets you recycle affixed tools and armor into rarity materials, and that it gives you Gem Dust without anvils.[6]
  4. "Simple Reforging Table" quest: the Simple Reforging Table works like an Enchanting Table for affixes. You get 3 choices, and it can only give up to Rare affixes.[6]
  5. "(Better) Reforging Table" quest: the quest says the Reforging Table does everything the simple one does and adds Epic and Mythic affixes. The quest chain puts it after the Arcane Sands quest.[6]
  6. "Augmenting Table" quest: the quest says the Augmenting Table is for perfecting individual affixes, and that it needs Sigils of Enhancement as fuel.[6]

Rarity materials

The quest text says salvaging an item gives you a material that matches its rarity: Mysterious Scrap Metal from Common, Timeworn Fabric from Uncommon, Luminous Crystal Shard from Rare, Arcane Sands from Epic and Godforged Pearl from Mythic. Each has its own quest in the chapter.[6]

The Godforged Pearl is the one to aim for, because the in-game guide says building the Augmenting Table takes two of them.[8]

Sigils

Sigils start with the Gem-Fused Slate and change your affixed items in a Smithing Table, Reforging Table or Augmenting Table. The ones you can craft are:[6]

Sigil of Malice and Sigil of Supremacy can't be crafted. According to the quest book, Supremacy comes from beating 100 waves of the Endless Gateway of Apothic Invaders.[6]

Using the Augmenting Table

The in-game guide calls the Augmenting Table an end-game crafting station. Its recipe is built around a Nether Star focused through two Godforged Pearls, with an Enchanting Table as the base. An upgrade costs two Sigils of Enhancement and raises that affix's internal strength by 25%. A reroll costs one Sigil and swaps the affix for another of the same type.[8]

Tip: The in-game guide says to augment items of at least Mythic rarity, though Epic items are also worth considering.[8]

Enchanting Table levels

Your Enchanting Table has its own ladder, and the later Apotheosis quests lean on it:[33][34][35][36]

  • Level 30: the usual way, with fifteen bookshelves.[33]
  • Level 45: add Hellshelves, or Seashelves if you'd rather avoid the Nether.[34]
  • Level 60: explore Infusion Enchanting to upgrade your shelves.[34]
  • Level 70: a Level 60 table plus Deepslate, which gives you a Deepshelf once infused.[35]
  • Level 75: upgrade your Deepshelves with materials from the Deep Dark.[35]
  • Level 80: slay the Warden, which lets you craft Sculkshelves.[35]
  • Level 90: a Level 80 table plus Dragon's Breath, to make Infused Dragon's Breath for Endshelves.[36]
  • Level 100: a Dragon Head from the outer End lets you make a Draconic Endshelf, which is the only shelf that can reach this level.[36]

Spawner Upgrade Runes

If you go down the spawner route, the Spawner Upgrade Runes form four tiers. Each one sets several spawner stats to fixed values instead of nudging them. All four recipes below are changed by the pack.[10][37]

  1. Frontiersman's Spawner Upgrade Rune: Minimum Spawn Delay 150, Maximum Spawn Delay 600, Spawn Count 7, Max Entities 12, Activation Range 24.[10]
  2. Wayfarer's Spawner Upgrade Rune: delays 100 to 400, Spawn Count 10, Max Entities 18, Activation Range 32.[10]
  3. Mountaineer's Spawner Upgrade Rune: delays 50 to 200, Spawn Count 13, Max Entities 24, Activation Range 40. The quest says you'll need to fight a Warden for it.[10]
  4. Thundering Spawner Upgrade Rune: both delays at 20, Spawn Count 16, Max Entities 32, Activation Range 48.[10]

The more advanced modifications need an Infused Spawner Rune. Infusing it takes at least 70 Eterna, 30% Quanta and 50% Arcana in an Enchanting Table. The infusion recipe is changed by the pack.[10][37]

Late-game infusions

Once your Eterna is maxed at 100, the quest says you can start infusing Godforged Pearls into a God-Fused Pearl. The quest lists the shelf setup.[38]

How does Apotheosis work with other mods?

4 parts

In this pack, Apotheosis connects with other mods mostly through crafting recipes. Its rarity materials, Gem Dust and pearls feed into Create: Enchantment Industry, Gateways and Apothic Enchanting. Every recipe in this section has been changed by the pack, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults.[14]

Create: Enchantment Industry

The Gem Cutter, the Affix Augmentor and the Infuser from this addon are all crafted with Apotheosis items, including Gem Dust, Godforged Pearl and God-Fused Pearl. The Infuser is a KubeJS recipe. Here are the exact in-pack recipes:[14]

Gateways

Apotheosis is integrated with Gateways. The quest book says there are Gateways for each World Tier except Haven, with waves of monsters and Invaders. A Gateway can only be used in its own World Tier, and you get a total of 3 lives. Beating the final wave gives rewards that help you finish that tier. The quest for Gate Pearl sits in the Apotheosis Gear chapter, after the World Tier: Frontier quest.[11]

The pack changed the Gate Pearl recipes for Ascent, Summit and Pinnacle so they use Apotheosis items. The Pinnacle recipe also uses Apothic Enchanting items.[14]

Gear from other mods

Affixes work on items from vanilla or other mods. The pack also gives some modded gear an Apotheosis loot category. The Allthemodium alloy paxel, Oritech's promethium pickaxe and hand drill count as breakers. Silent Gear's mace and axe, and Draconic Evolution's draconic and chaotic staffs, count as melee weapons.[1][39]

Which All the Mods 10 quests use Apotheosis?

4 parts

Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide

Apotheosis shows up in three quest chapters in this pack: Apotheosis Gear, Apothic Spawners and Apothic Enchanting. Gear is the one to start with. It teaches you gems, salvaging, reforging and sigils, and the other two chapters build on it.[6][10][38]

Apotheosis Gear

The chapter opens with "Apotheosis Adventure" quest, which asks for a single Gem. The quest says gems are rare drops from any mob and confirmed drops from Invaders, so you farm mobs until one drops. Next comes "Gem Dust" quest, where you get Gem Dust by smashing a gem with a falling anvil.[6]

  1. After Gem Dust, three quests open up. "Getting better Gems" quest asks for the Gem Cutting Table, which raises a gem's rarity. "Simple Reforging Table" quest asks for the Simple Reforging Table, which only gives affixes up to Rare. "Vials and Sigils" quest asks for a Gem-Fused Slate.[6]
  2. "Salvaging Table" quest asks for the Salvaging Table. It needs Gem Dust done, plus a quest called "Applying Gems (and others)". The table recycles affixed tools and armor into materials and gem dust.[6]
  3. Salvaging unlocks one quest per rarity material: "Mysterious Scrap Metals" quest (Common, Mysterious Scrap Metal), "Timeworn Fabric" quest (Uncommon, Timeworn Fabric), "Luminous Crystal Shard" quest (Rare, Luminous Crystal Shard), "Arcane Sands" quest (Epic, Arcane Sands) and "Godforged Pearl" quest (Mythic, Godforged Pearl).[6]
  4. "(Better) Reforging Table" quest asks for the Reforging Table. It comes after Arcane Sands and the Simple Reforging Table, and it adds Epic and Mythic affixes on top of what the simple one gives.[6]

The sigil quests all follow Vials and Sigils. They cover Sigil of Enhancement ("Sigil of Enhancement" quest), Sigil of Socketing ("Sigil of Socketing" quest), Sigil of Rebirth ("Sigil of Rebirth" quest), Sigil of Unnaming ("Sigil of Unnaming" quest) and Sigil of Withdrawal ("Sigil of Withdrawal" quest). There is also an untitled quest for Sigil of Malice (a quest in "Apotheosis Gear"). Its text calls it a mysterious sigil and says rumors point to Invaders dropping it.[6]

The Augmenting Table quest, "Augmenting Table" quest, needs both Sigil of Enhancement and Godforged Pearl done first. The last quest is the untitled a quest in "Apotheosis Gear" for Sigil of Supremacy. It follows the Endless Gateway of Apothic Invaders pearl quest, and the text says you get the sigil by beating 100 waves of that gateway.[6]

Apothic Spawners

This chapter starts with "Blowing up Spawners" quest, which asks for Spawner Chain and TNT. Blowing up a spawner leaves chains behind, and the quest text puts it at 48-57 chains, noting that was true at the time of writing. The next quest, a quest in "Apothic Spawners", asks for the Spawner Rune, the base material for modifying spawners.[10]

Once you have the base rune, the basic modification quests open. These are "Quiet down you'll wake up the mobs!" quest (Rune of Silence), "Redstone Active" quest (Rune of Control), "Ignore Light" quest (Rune of Perpetual Twilight), "Spawn Range" quest (Rune of Spawning Range), "Burning" quest (Rune of Immolation), "Youthful" quest (Rune of Youth) and "Health" quest (Rune of Debilitation). The first two upgrade-rune quests also sit here.[10]

The advanced branch starts at a quest in "Apothic Spawners", which asks for the Infused Spawner Rune. Everything after it depends on that quest: "Echoing" quest (Rune of Echoes), "Ignore Players" quest (Rune of Solitude), "Ignore All Conditions" quest (Rune of Defiance) and "No AI" quest (Rune of Stupor). The last two upgrade-rune quests are in this branch as well.[10]

Spawner Upgrade Rune tiers

The four upgrade runes set several spawner stats at once instead of nudging one. The quest texts list them as Minimum Spawn Delay, Maximum Spawn Delay, Spawn Count, Max Entities and Activation Range, in that order.[10]

Apothic Enchanting

Only a few quests in this chapter involve Apotheosis items. "Gem Case" quest asks for the Gem Case, which stores up to 32,768 of each unique gem and purity. "Infusing Spawner Runes" quest asks for the Infused Spawner Rune again. It follows two earlier chapter quests, "Other Infusion Items" and "To reach the Summit", and needs at least 70 Eterna, 30% Quanta and 50% Arcana.[38]

"Gem Case of House Fabergé" quest asks for the Gem Case of House Fabergé. It comes after the Gem Case quest and "Ahh, Pinnacle, at last", and holds 2.1 billion of each unique gem. Finally, "God-Fused Pearl" quest asks for the God-Fused Pearl. It follows the Draconic Endshelf quest and calls for 100 Eterna, 9.65-11.00% Quanta and 58.75-60.0% Arcana.[38]

Which Apotheosis config options matter?

2 parts

Nearly everything you might want to tweak for enchanting lives in one file, config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg. Each enchantment gets the same set of options: Max Level, Max Loot Level, Forced Level Cap, Max Power Function and Min Power Function. Max Level is the highest level the enchantment can reach, and Max Loot Level is the highest you can find in loot.[40]

The value the pack changed

In the part of the file I can see, only Miner's Fervor is flagged as changed by the pack. Both its [[config:config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg#apothic_enchanting:miners_fervor.Max Level]] and [[config:config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg#apothic_enchanting:miners_fervor.Max Loot Level]] are set to 1 here, where the mod default is 5. So don't expect to stack Miner's Fervor into a high level in this pack.[40]

Max level above loot level

Plenty of enchantments can be pushed well past what loot gives you. These are the values the file shows. The file lists the mod default as identical to these numbers and does not flag them as pack changes.[40]

  • Nature's Blessing: [[config:config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg#apothic_enchanting:natures_blessing.Max Level]] is 7, with loot capped at 3.[40]
  • Sculk Smite from Deeper and Darker: [[config:config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg#deeperdarker:sculk_smite.Max Level]] is 10, with loot capped at 5.[40]
  • Efficiency: [[config:config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg#minecraft:efficiency.Max Level]] is 9, with loot capped at 5.[40]
  • Feather Falling: [[config:config/apotheosis/enchantments.cfg#minecraft:feather_falling.Max Level]] is 11, with loot capped at 4.[40]

Other enchantments already sit at their original level. Chainsaw, Chromatic and Endless Quiver stay at 1, and Berserker's Fury and Life Mending stay at 3.[40]

Tip: Every Forced Level Cap I can see is -1, which means the hard cap is switched off. The Max Power Function and Min Power Function options are empty strings, so no custom enchanting power formula is set for those enchantments. The file has more options than are listed here, so check it in your instance for anything not covered.[40]

What changed in Apotheosis between versions?

Apotheosis has been in All the Mods 10 since version 2.11 or earlier, and this pack version (8.2) ships Apotheosis 8.8.0. Here is how the mod's version has moved through the pack releases I have records for, newest first.[41]

  • All the Mods 10 8.2: Apotheosis updated from 8.7.0 to 8.8.0.[42]
  • All the Mods 10 8.0: updated from 8.6.1 to 8.7.0.[43]
  • All the Mods 10 7.3: updated from 8.5.4 to 8.6.1.[44]
  • All the Mods 10 7.1: updated from 8.5.2 to 8.5.4.[45]
  • All the Mods 10 6.1: updated from 8.5.1 to 8.5.2.[46]
  • All the Mods 10 6.0: updated from 8.4.2 to 8.5.1.[47]
  • All the Mods 10 5.5: updated from 8.4.1 to 8.4.2.[48]
  • All the Mods 10 4.15: updated from 8.4.0 to 8.4.1.[49]
  • All the Mods 10 4.11: updated from 8.3.6 to 8.4.0.[50]
  • All the Mods 10 3.0: updated from 8.3.4 to 8.3.6.[51]
  • All the Mods 10 2.47: updated from 8.2.1 to 8.3.4.[52]
  • All the Mods 10 2.40: updated from 8.1.3 to 8.2.1.[53]
  • All the Mods 10 2.32: updated from 8.1.2 to 8.1.3.[54]

So the biggest jumps in the pack came with 2.47 (8.2.1 to 8.3.4) and 6.0 (8.4.2 to 8.5.1), while most other releases were small point updates.[47][52]

Unverified The mod's own changelogs for 8.6.1, 8.7.0 and 8.8.0 were not available to me in readable form, so I can't confirm what features, fixes or balance changes came with each Apotheosis update, or whether the pack changed any of them. Check the changelog of the version you care about before relying on a specific change.
