What is AllTheTweaks?

AllTheTweaks is the pack's own tweaks mod, and this pack runs version 2.5.4. Its items are the big-ticket endgame goals. The headline item is the ATM Star, and it comes with a set of other components you'll be hunting down along the way.[1][2]
Where it fits in the quests
The quest book has a chapter built around the star. Its final quest, a quest in "?", asks you to obtain the ATM Star. That quest only unlocks after a long list of earlier quests. Several of those earlier quests ask for other items from this mod.[2]

A second chapter also covers the star. There, a quest in "?" asks for the ATM Star, and a quest in "?" for the Patrick Star is one of its prerequisites. The same chapter includes the ATM Star Block in a quest in "?" and the ATM Star Shard in a quest in "?", which unlocks after the block quest.[3]
Unverified The sources don't describe what each of these items does, how they are made or which players the mod is aimed at, so those details aren't covered here.
How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?

In this pack, AllTheTweaks is all about one big goal: the ATM Star. Its quest, a quest in "?", needs a whole set of component quests first: the Pulsating Black Hole, Nexium Emitter, Patrick Star, Dimensional Seed, Wither's Compass, Improbable Probability Device, Philosopher's Fuel, Dragon Soul and Oblivion Shard. Almost every item this mod adds is a stepping stone toward that star.[4]
Step one: the miniature portals
Start with the three miniature portals. Most component quests have a long list of prerequisites. The quests for the Miniature End Portal, Miniature Exit Portal and Miniature Nether Portal each follow just a single earlier quest, which makes them the easiest entry point into this mod.[4]
- Craft the Miniature End Portal to complete a quest in "?". The pack adds its own recipe for it.[4][5]
- Craft the Miniature Exit Portal to complete a quest in "?". This recipe is also added by the pack.[4][5]

Step two: the Dimensional Seed
Here's why the portals come first: the pack's Dimensional Seed recipe uses all three of them. Its quest, a quest in "?", also lists the three portal quests among its prerequisites. Finishing the portals puts you on track for your first real ATM Star component.[4][5]

Handy storage blocks
The mod also has simple storage blocks. You can pack items into an Ender Pearl Block or a Nether Star Block. These are the mod's own recipes, not pack additions, and they're a tidy way to store your ender pearls and nether stars.[5]

Where it leads
The Patrick Star isn't crafted on a table. It comes out of a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, so it's worth keeping in mind early on. Its quest in this chapter is a quest in "?".[4][5]

How does AllTheTweaks work?

Don't expect machines, multiblocks, or power, fluid, or item pipes from AllTheTweaks. None of the available material describes any of those systems. What the pack's files do show is a set of special crafting items and a small common config.[5][6]
Unverified No guidebook, official documentation, or item tooltips were available for this mod, so any in-world behaviour of its items (what they do when placed or used) couldn't be confirmed. That's why it isn't covered here.
How the items are made
The key thing to know is that every crafted AllTheTweaks item shown in the recipe dump uses a recipe added by the pack itself, not a default from the mod. Each one is a shaped crafting recipe that pulls together endgame pieces from lots of other mods. Always check the in-game recipe in this pack rather than trusting an older guide.[5]
- Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal are the three Miniature portal items, each with its own pack-added shaped recipe.[5]
- Dimensional Seed is where those three Miniature portals come together, so plan on crafting all of them first.[5]
- Dragon Soul, Oblivion Shard, Wither's Compass, Philosopher's Fuel, Improbable Probability Device and Nexium Emitter each have their own pack-added shaped recipe drawing on several different mods.[5]
- Pulsating Black Hole also has a pack-added shaped recipe, filed separately from the others in the pack's recipe list.[5]

Storage blocks and decompression
ATM Star Block, Ender Pearl Block and Nether Star Block tie into AllTheCompressed. It has shapeless decompress recipes that turn its compressed versions of these blocks back into the AllTheTweaks blocks. If you've over-compressed something, you can always get it back.[5]

Common config
The mod's common config mostly handles pack-level settings rather than gameplay. The pack leaves every option shown here at the mod default.[6]
- packmode.enable selects a pack mode from 0 to 5, with other listed modes including SLOP, SKY, MAGIC, EXPERT and GRAVITAS. The pack keeps it at 0, the same as the mod default.[6]
- discord.discord turns Discord Rich Presence on or off, and the pack has it enabled.[6]
- packversionmaj.major, packversionmin.minor and packversionminrev.minorrev store a pack version number, each accepting values from 0 to 32,768. The pack sets them to 1, 0 and 0, matching the mod defaults.[6]
How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?

AllTheTweaks adds the endgame crafting components you'll be chasing for a long time in this pack. Each one gets its own quest, and the quest for the ATM Star sits after all of them. Almost every component recipe in this pack is a custom recipe added by the pack rather than a mod default, so use the recipe blocks below instead of old videos or other packs.[4][5]
Step one: the miniature portals
The three miniature portals are a natural place to start. The a quest in "?" quest asks for the Miniature End Portal, a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature Exit Portal and a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature Nether Portal. All three unlock from the same earlier quest, so you can work on them side by side. Each uses a shaped recipe added by the pack.[4][5]

The three portals then feed into the Dimensional Seed. Its quest, a quest in "?", comes after all three portal quests plus several others. The seed's recipe is also a pack addition.[4][5]

The star components
Alongside the Dimensional Seed, the ATM Star quest needs you to finish a quest for each of the following components first. Every one of these quests has its own long list of prerequisites, so expect each component to pull you through a lot of other mods.[4]

The Patrick Star works differently. You get it from a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that outputs the Patrick Star along with wax.[5]

The ATM Star and what comes after
Once the component quests are done, a quest in "?" asks for the ATM Star itself. A second quest chapter covers the star too. There, a quest in "?" asks for a Patrick Star, and a quest in "?" asks for the ATM Star and follows that Patrick Star quest.[4][7]
Unverified The recipe dump does not show a recipe that turns the components into an ATM Star. The only ATM Star recipe listed crafts it back out of a storage block. How the first star is made in this pack could not be confirmed from the sources.
The same second chapter continues past the star. a quest in "?" asks for the ATM Star Block, and a quest in "?" asks for the ATM Star Shard and comes after the block quest. You can pack ATM Stars into the block and craft the block back into a star.[5][7]

Decompresses the compressed version back into a regular ATM Star Block.
There are two ways to get ATM Star Shards. You can crush an ATM Star using Mekanism's crushing recipe, or you can run a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that gives ATM Star Shards along with Nether Star Shards.[5]

AllTheTweaks also adds the Nether Star Block and the Ender Pearl Block as storage blocks. They're made from any Nether Stars or Ender Pearls, and each has a decompression recipe that turns its compressed version back into the normal block.[5]

How does AllTheTweaks work with other mods?

AllTheTweaks ties into a huge number of other mods in this pack. Almost all of these links come from recipes the pack adds itself: the big endgame components for the ATM Star pull in items from all over the modlist, and the finished star then unlocks creative items for other mods.[5]
The star components
Each of the star components has a pack-added shaped recipe built from other mods' items. The Improbable Probability Device mixes AE2, Mekanism, Iron Furnaces, Iron's Spellbooks, MEGA Cells, Modern Industrialization and PneumaticCraft parts. The Nexium Emitter leans on Advanced AE, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Modern Industrialization and Powah. The Philosopher's Fuel eats power and fuel items from Extreme Reactors, Generator Galore, Iron Furnaces, Mystical Agriculture and more.[5]
The Oblivion Shard needs boss trophies from Twilight Forest plus EvilCraft and Forbidden Arcanus items. The Wither's Compass is built around wither-themed items from Ars Nouveau, Industrial Foregoing, Generator Galore and Mystical Agriculture. The Dragon Soul gathers dragon items from Occultism, Productive Bees, Productive Trees, Apothic Enchanting and Allthemodium. The Pulsating Black Hole pulls in everything from AE2 and Occultism to Pocket Storage and Roots Classic.[5]

The Dimensional Seed is a two-step build. First you make the Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal, which all use Apothic Enchanting shelves or Infused Dragon's Breath. Then you combine them with compressed blocks from All the Compressed.[5]

Quests that guide you
The star chapter has a quest for each component. The mini portal quests a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?" lead into the Dimensional Seed quest a quest in "?". That quest, along with the other component quests like a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?", is a prerequisite for the ATM Star quest a quest in "?".[4]
A second chapter covers the star materials. It goes from the ATM Star Block quest a quest in "?" to the ATM Star Shard quest a quest in "?". The Patrick Star quest a quest in "?" feeds into the ATM Star quest a quest in "?".[7]
Runic Star Altar
The pack adds Modular Machinery Reborn machine recipes for a runic star altar that consume AllTheTweaks items. Several of them combine an ATM Star Shard with a Forbidden Arcanus item, such as the Whirlwind Prism or Sea Prism. The largest one takes every star component together with the ATM Star, Creative Essence and a Nether Star Block 3x.[5]
Unverified The recipe data doesn't list an output for the runic star altar recipes, so what the altar produces isn't confirmed here.
Productive Bees and All the Compressed
- An ATM Star Block is used in a Productive Bees bee conversion recipe that turns a bee into a starry bee.[5]
- Centrifuging starry honeycomb gives an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard. Centrifuging patrick honeycomb gives a Patrick Star and Wax.[5]
- All the Compressed can compress the ATM Star Block and Nether Star Block into their 1x versions and decompress them back. It can also decompress an Ender Pearl Block 1x into the Ender Pearl Block.[5]

What the ATM Star unlocks
Once you have an ATM Star, the pack uses it as the key ingredient for creative items across many mods. The recipes run in several different machines.[5]
- The Powah Energizing Orb makes four creative power items: the Creative Energy Cell, the Creative Energy Battery, the Creative Energy Cube and the Energy Cell (Creative).[5]
- The PneumaticCraft Pressure Chamber makes the Creative Compressed Iron Block and the Creative Compressor.[5]
- The Ars Nouveau Enchanting Apparatus makes the Creative Source Jar.[5]
- Shaped crafting makes the Creative Spell Book, the Creative Blood Drop and the Iron Jetpacks creative jetpack.[5]
- The Creative Locomotive only needs an ATM Star Shard, not a full star.[5]

Which All the Mods 10 quests use AllTheTweaks?

AllTheTweaks items show up in two quest chapters in this pack. Every quest listed here is a simple item task: get the item and the quest ticks off. Both chapters build toward the ATM Star, and the quest prerequisites tell you roughly what order to tackle things in.[2][3]
The Star chapter (chapter_2_the_star)
Most of the mod lives in this chapter. Start with the three miniature portals. a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature End Portal, a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature Exit Portal, and a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature Nether Portal. All three unlock from the same earlier quest, so you can do them in any order.[2]
Those three portal quests feed into a quest in "?", which asks for the Dimensional Seed. That quest also needs several other quests from outside this mod before it opens up.[2]

A second, smaller chapter also features the mod. a quest in "?" asks for the ATM Star Block. That quest is one of the prerequisites for a quest in "?", which asks for the ATM Star Shard.[3]

Which AllTheTweaks config options matter?

AllTheTweaks keeps its settings in one small common config file. There are only five options, and none of them change gameplay directly. They cover Discord integration, which pack mode the mod runs in, and the pack version numbers. Here's how this pack sets each one.[6]
Discord Rich Presence
discord.discord turns Discord Rich Presence on or off. This pack sets it to true, so it's enabled. If you'd rather not share what you're playing on Discord, this is the switch to flip.[6]
Pack mode
packmode.enable tells the mod which kind of pack it's running in. It takes a value from 0 to 5, and this pack leaves it at 0, which is also the mod default.[6]
Pack version numbers
Three options store a pack version in three parts: packversionmaj.major is the release version, packversionmin.minor is the minor version, and packversionminrev.minorrev is the minor version revision. This pack sets them to 1, 0 and 0. Those are the mod defaults, so the pack hasn't changed them.[6]
Unverified The sources don't say what the mod does with these version numbers or with the pack mode setting in game, such as where the version appears or which features each mode turns on. They also don't show the mod's default value for the Discord option.
