What is AllTheTweaks?
Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide
AllTheTweaks is part of the pack's mod list, and the pack ships version 1.9.9.9i-1.18.2-40.1.73 of it (the file is allthetweaks-1.9.9.9i-1.18.2-40.1.73.jar). It has been in the pack since this version or earlier.[1]
Unverified I couldn't confirm from the available sources what AllTheTweaks adds or changes, who it is meant for, or where it fits in the pack's progression. I also couldn't confirm any ATM Star path or quest involvement, so I'm not guessing. Check back once more details are documented.
How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?
5 parts
AllTheTweaks is the pack's trophy mod: it adds the ATM Star, the components that build toward it, and a handful of storage blocks. Almost everything interesting here is late-game, and the pack writes most of the component recipes itself rather than leaving them at mod defaults, so check the recipe blocks below instead of assuming.[2]
The good news is that the first two things you can make are cheap and useful long before you go star hunting.[2]
Step 1: the storage blocks
Ender Pearl Blocks and Nether Star Blocks are plain compression blocks, and both accept tags rather than one specific item, so whatever ender pearls or nether stars your mods hand you will work. Make the pearl block as soon as you have a pearl farm running; it keeps your storage tidy and feeds compression chains later.[2]

If you have already pushed these up the All The Compressed ladder, the decompression recipes bring them straight back down to a normal block.[2]

Step 2: the miniature portals
The three miniature portals are the first real AllTheTweaks crafts and the ones you should aim for first, because they are the cheapest of the pack-added recipes. All three are pack additions, and all three want bedrock, so get a reliable bedrock source sorted before you start.[2]

Recipe id: allthemods:allthetweaks/mini_exit
Step 3: the Dimensional Seed
The Dimensional Seed is the natural follow-up once the portals are done, and it is also a pack-added recipe. It leans heavily on All The Compressed blocks, so this is the point where a compression setup stops being optional.[2]

Recipe id: allthemods:allthetweaks/dimensional_seed
Step 4: the rest of the components
The remaining components are the long haul. Each one is a pack-added recipe that pulls a finished, high-tier item out of a different mod, so treat them as a checklist of tech trees to complete rather than something you craft in an afternoon. Roughly easiest to hardest by how many mods they touch:[2]
- Oblivion Shard and Wither's Compass are the shortest, needing only a couple of items each.[2]
- Nexium Emitter and Philosopher's Fuel pull from the heavy tech and Mystical Agriculture side of the pack.[2]
- Dragon Soul, Improbable Probability Device and Pulsating Black Hole each need endgame items from seven or eight different mods.[2]

Shards and side items
You do not have to finish a star to see ATM Star Shards. Mekanism crushing produces them, and a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe yields them alongside Nether Star Shards. The same centrifuge also has a recipe that drops Patrick Star, which is purely for fun.[2]

Centrifuge (productivebees)

Once you do have stars, ATM Star Block and GregStar Block store them, and both convert straight back into loose stars whenever you need them.[2]
Crafting Shapeless
- any atm star storage block
Recipe id: allthetweaks:atm_star_from_atmstar_block
Unverified The recipe dump used for this page does not include a crafting recipe for the ATM Star or the GregStar themselves, so exactly how the components come together in this pack is unconfirmed here. Check your in-game recipe viewer for the final step. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does AllTheTweaks work?
3 parts
In this pack, the mod has no machines, no multiblocks and no power or fluid systems of its own. Everything it adds is driven through the crafting grid: storage blocks you can pack and unpack at will, and a set of one-off endgame components that pull parts together from across the whole modpack. That makes it one of the easiest mods to automate, because anything you want can be produced by a crafting-table-style automation setup rather than a dedicated machine.[2]
Storage blocks and the compression loop
The mod's storage blocks behave the way you'd expect from vanilla-style block forms: craft loose items into a block, and uncraft the block back into items. Both directions exist as real recipes, so you can freely swap between the two forms without losing anything.[2]

And back again.
The GregStar gets the same treatment, with a block recipe and a matching unpacking recipe.[2]

There's also an Ender Pearl Block, which gives ender pearls a proper storage form they don't have in vanilla.[2]
Crafting Shaped
9 × any ender pearl
Recipe id: allthetweaks:ender_pearl_block
Where this gets interesting is the handoff to AllTheCompressed. The ATM Star Block, GregStar Block, Ender Pearl Block and Nether Star Block all have decompression recipes that turn the 1x compressed version from that mod back into the plain block. In practice that means these four blocks act as the entry point into the compression ladder: compress upward through AllTheCompressed for absurd storage density, then step back down one tier at a time and finally out into loose items.[2]
- ATM Star Block unpacks from its 1x compressed form via ATM Star Block.[2]
- GregStar Block unpacks from its 1x compressed form via GregStar Block.[2]
- Ender Pearl Block unpacks from its 1x compressed form via Ender Pearl Block.[2]
- Nether Star Block unpacks from its 1x compressed form via Nether Star Block.[2]
The miniature portals
Three miniature portal items form a small crafting tree of their own. Each one is a standalone shaped recipe added by the pack, and all three then feed into the Dimensional Seed alongside a stack of compressed vanilla blocks.[2]

Cross-mod endgame components
The rest of the mod's items work as convergence points. Each one is a single shaped recipe added by the pack that pulls finished endgame products out of a spread of different mods, so building one is really a checklist of progression milestones rather than a machine setup. Expect to have working production for several unrelated tech and magic mods before you can assemble any of them.[2]

The Pulsating Black Hole is the odd one out. Its recipe sits under the pack's pressure recipe folder rather than the regular crafting folder, which suggests it's handled differently from the other components.[2]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: allthemods:pressure/allthetweaks/pulsating_black_hole
Unverified How the Pulsating Black Hole recipe is actually produced (for example whether it needs a pressurised crafting setup rather than a normal crafting table), and how the ATM Star and GregStar themselves are crafted, are not covered by the available sources. Check the recipe viewer and the pack's quest line in game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?
4 parts
The mod's items in this pack form a clear ladder: cheap storage blocks at the bottom, a set of miniature portals in the middle, then a row of expensive cross-mod components, and the stars themselves at the top. Almost every step above the storage blocks is a pack-added recipe rather than a mod default, so what you see here is specific to this pack.[2]
Tier 1: storage blocks
The entry tier is pure compression. The mod adds block forms for ender pearls, nether stars, ATM Stars and GregStars, each crafted from the matching item tag, and the ATM Star and GregStar blocks can be broken back down into their items again.[2]
Crafting Shaped

Crafting Shaped
9 × any nether star
Recipe id: allthetweaks:nether_star_block
If you go further up the compression chain, decompressing an AllTheCompressed 1x block gives you the mod's own block back, so these two systems line up neatly for bulk storage.[2]

Tier 2: the miniature portals
Next come three vanilla-flavoured showpieces: Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal. All three are pack-added recipes, and all three lean on bedrock plus the trophies of each dimension, so you want the Nether and the End largely finished before you start.[2]

Recipe id: allthemods:allthetweaks/mini_exit
The three portals then feed straight into Dimensional Seed, alongside a stack of compressed vanilla blocks. Treat the seed as the capstone of this tier rather than a separate goal.[2]

Recipe id: allthemods:allthetweaks/dimensional_seed
Tier 3: the cross-mod components
The big tier is a set of eight components, each one added by the pack and each one pulling from a different corner of the modpack. Expect to have several tech and magic mods running at a decent level before you can finish them.[2]
- Dimensional Seed: compressed vanilla blocks plus the three miniature portals.[2]
- Dragon Soul: dragon-themed items from Allthemodium, Apotheosis enchanting, Eternal Starlight, Occultism, Productive Bees and Productive Trees.[2]
- Improbable Probability Device: high-tier gear from Applied Energistics, MEGA Cells, Mekanism, Modern Industrialization, PneumaticCraft, Iron Furnaces and Iron's Spells.[2]
- Nexium Emitter: Advanced AE, Applied Energistics, Mekanism, Modern Industrialization and Powah endgame parts around a bedrock core.[2]
- Oblivion Shard: the cheapest of the set, built from an EvilCraft focus and bedrock.[2]
- Philosopher's Fuel: top-end fuels and power blocks from Extreme Reactors, Generator Galore, Iron Furnaces, Modern Industrialization, Mystical Agradditions and Mystical Agriculture.[2]
- Pulsating Black Hole: Advanced AE, Applied Energistics, EvilCraft, Iron's Spells, Just Dire Things, Occultism and PneumaticCraft parts around bedrock.[2]
- Wither's Compass: a Deeper and Darker Heart of the Deep, an Industrial Foregoing Wither Builder and bedrock.[2]

Tier 4: the stars
At the top sit ATM Star and GregStar. Once you have a star, a Mekanism crushing recipe turns it into ATM Star Shard, and shards also drop from a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe together with Nether Star Shards. Patrick Star comes from its own centrifuge recipe as a novelty rather than a progression step.[2]

Stars and GregStars also round-trip through their storage blocks, which is the easiest way to move a stack of them around or to split a block back into items.[2]

Unverified The recipe data available here does not include a crafting step that turns the eight components into an ATM Star, nor a recipe that produces a GregStar outside of decompressing its block, so check the in-game recipe viewer for the exact final assembly step in your copy of the pack. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does AllTheTweaks work with other mods?
3 parts
AllTweaks is mostly a mod of pack-specific endgame items, and its connections to other mods show up in recipes rather than quests. No quests in this pack involve it. The recipes below come from the pack's recipe dump and show where the mod links to other mods.[2]
Compressed blocks
Four AllTweaks blocks can be compressed into 1x versions from the AllTheCompressed mod, and each can be turned back again. The blocks are ATM Star Block, Ender Pearl Block, GregStar Block and Nether Star Block. Their compressed forms are ATM Star Block 1x, Ender Pearl Block 1x, GregStar Block 1x and Nether Star Block 1x. Compressing uses a shaped crafting recipe, and decompressing uses a shapeless one.[2]

Endgame items built from other mods
The pack adds shaped crafting recipes for several AllTweaks items that need ingredients from many other mods. These are pack recipes, not mod defaults. Bedrock turns up in several of them: Nexium Emitter, Oblivion Shard, Philosopher's Fuel, Wither's Compass and Pulsating Black Hole all use Bedrock.[2]
The Dimensional Seed ties back to the compressed blocks. Its recipe uses AllTheCompressed blocks together with the Miniature Nether, End and Exit Portals from AllTweaks.[2]

The Dragon Soul draws on the most mods. It pulls in items from All the Modium, Apothic Enchanting, Eternal Starlight, Occultism, Productive Bees and Productive Trees.[2]

Productive Bees
Productive Bees has a bee conversion recipe that takes an ATM Star Block and turns it into the Starry bee. Two centrifuge recipes also give AllTweaks items. One gives Patrick Star and Wax. The other gives ATM Star Shard and Nether Star Shard.[2]
