What is AllTheTweaks?
1 part
AllTheTweaks is the glue mod behind this pack's endgame. It adds the ATM Star and the ring of crafting components that lead up to it, so instead of ending your world after the Dragon you get one more long, cross-mod project to chase. This pack ships version 2.4.4, and the mod has been part of the pack since at least the 0.44 release.[1]
If you enjoy late-game goals that force you to touch a bit of everything, this is the mod for you. The items it adds are not standalone gadgets you grab early; they show up as the final rung of the pack's quest book, after you have built up the tech, magic and resource chains that feed them.[2]
Where it fits in progression
The pack's quest book has a dedicated star chapter built almost entirely around this mod. Each quest in it asks you for one AllTheTweaks component, and each one sits behind a long list of prerequisite quests elsewhere in the book, so the chapter doubles as a checklist of everything you still have left to do.[2]
- Early in the chapter, three miniature portal quests unlock from a single parent: a quest in "?" for the Miniature End Portal, a quest in "?" for the Miniature Exit Portal and a quest in "?" for the Miniature Nether Portal.[2]
- Those three feed into a quest in "?" for the Dimensional Seed, alongside several other prerequisites.[2]
- The rest of the chapter covers the other components: a quest in "?" for the Pulsating Black Hole, a quest in "?" for the Nexium Emitter, a quest in "?" for the Patrick Star, a quest in "?" for the Wither's Compass, a quest in "?" for the Improbable Probability Device, a quest in "?" for the Philosopher's Fuel, a quest in "?" for the Dragon Soul and a quest in "?" for the Oblivion Shard.[2]
- Everything converges on a quest in "?", the ATM Star quest, which only unlocks once those component quests and a few others are complete.[2]
How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?
3 parts
AllTheTweaks is the endgame thread running through this pack: it adds the ATM Star and the chain of components you build to get there. The pack's quest chapter for the Star is your real checklist, since every component has its own quest and its own web of prerequisites from other mods.[2][3]
Before you start, know where you're heading. In this pack the Star is not a crafting table recipe at all: it's assembled in a PneumaticCraft Pressure Chamber from nine of the mod's components plus a couple of heavy blocks. That means a working pressurised setup is something you'll need eventually, so it's worth building one early rather than at the very end.[3]
First craft: the three miniature portals
The three miniature portals are the earliest AllTheTweaks items in the quest chain and the cheapest place to begin. Each has its own quest, and all three share the same single prerequisite, so you can knock them out together.[2]

All three feed straight into the Dimensional Seed, your first real Star component. Its quest sits behind the three portal quests plus a stack of compression work, so start compressing blocks in the background while you gather the portals.[2][3]

Then pick off the short chains
Not every component costs the same effort. The Oblivion Shard has only three prerequisite quests behind it, which makes it the shortest detour of the nine and a good confidence boost after the Dimensional Seed.[2][3]

The Patrick Star is the other odd one out: it's a Pressure Chamber craft rather than a table recipe, and it has a second route entirely through a Productive Bees centrifuge. If you're already running bees, that's free Patrick Stars in the background.[3]

The long haul
The remaining components each pull from a different corner of the pack, and every one of them sits behind six to nine prerequisite quests. Treat them as separate projects rather than a single shopping trip, and work whichever mod you're already invested in.[2][3]
- Dragon Soul: quest 4E82E843737045D9.[2][3]
- Improbable Probability Device: quest 36DF0D83EBC2B6A9.[2][3]

With all nine in hand, the Star comes together in the Pressure Chamber and completes quest 05850541675B2493, the capstone of the chapter.[2][3]

How does AllTheTweaks work?
3 parts
Everything this pack exposes for the mod is crafting-table work rather than machinery: a small family of one-off, end-game items, plus block forms of the pack's trophy materials. Almost all of the item recipes are defined by the pack itself rather than shipped by the mod, so treat what you see in JEI here as the authoritative version and ignore anything you remember from other packs.[3]
Unverified What these items actually do once you hold or place them (any power, fluid or item handling, automation hooks or in-world effects) is not covered by the sources available for this guide, so this section only describes how they are obtained.
Trophy blocks come from decompression
The mod's storage blocks are not crafted from loose items in this pack. Instead they are produced by decompressing the matching 1x compressed block, which means the compression mod's ladder is the pipeline that feeds them. If you already automate compression, you already automate these: push the 1x block into any crafting automation and the single-item shapeless recipe hands back the mod's block form.[3]
- ATM Star Block and GregStar Block are the two star-tier trophy blocks available this way.[3]
- Nether Star Block and Ender Pearl Block cover the more ordinary end-game materials.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: allthecompressed:decompress/atm_star_block_1x
The other three trophy blocks follow the same one-in, one-out pattern.
The miniature portals
Three miniature portals form the mod's only real multi-step chain in this pack: Miniature Nether Portal, Miniature End Portal and Miniature Exit Portal. Each is its own shaped recipe added by the pack, and each leans on the enchanting-apparatus mod's bookshelf variants, so build those out before you start collecting the rarer pieces.[3]

The three of them then feed forward into Dimensional Seed, alongside a stack of compressed vanilla materials. That compressed side is the part worth planning: it is all bulk dirt, netherrack, obsidian, end stone, diamond and emerald run up the compression ladder, which is exactly the kind of job you want a void miner or a mystical agriculture farm feeding automatically.[3]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: allthemods:allthetweaks/dimensional_seed
The cross-mod capstone items
The rest of the mod's items are single shaped recipes that each pull together high-tier results from a wide spread of other mods in the pack. There is no tech tree inside the mod itself; the gating is entirely external, so progress on these is really progress on everyone else's end-game.[3]
- Wither's Compass draws on wither-themed gear from the magic, farming and automation mods at once.[3]
- Dragon Soul wants dragon-flavoured items from several unrelated mods, including a bee and a tree.[3]
- Philosopher's Fuel is the generator-and-fuel capstone, collecting top-tier generators and fuels from across the pack.[3]
- Nexium Emitter and Improbable Probability Device both lean heavily on late-game Applied Energistics and industrial machinery.[3]
- Oblivion Shard is the shortest of the set, built from a handful of magic-mod items.[3]
- Pulsating Black Hole is the widest net of all, mixing storage, magic and explosive tech items together.[3]

Automation advice is the same for all of them: none of these are bulk items, so pattern them in your crafting system only once the sub-ingredients are themselves automatable. Until then, they are hand-crafts you do once each.[3]
How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?
4 parts
Everything this mod adds sits at the very end of the pack's progression: it is the ATM Star line, and the quest book walks you through it in its own star chapter. Each star component has its own quest, and the final star quest only unlocks once every component quest is done, so the chapter is effectively a checklist of every major mod in the pack.[2]
There are three clear steps. First you build the three miniature portals, then you build the eleven star components (the miniature portals fold into one of them), and finally you combine everything into the ATM Star itself.[2][3]
Tier 1: the miniature portals
The three miniature portals all branch off the same earlier quest, so you can chase them in any order. They are the cheapest things this mod adds, and they exist purely to feed the Dimensional Seed.[2][3]

With all three in hand, the Dimensional Seed quest opens up. Its recipe pulls the three portals together with a pile of compressed blocks, so start your compression setup early.[2][3]

Recipe id: allthemods:allthetweaks/dimensional_seed
Tier 2: the star components
This is the bulk of the work. Each component is a pack-added shaped recipe that demands a top-tier item from several different mods at once, and each one has its own quest sitting behind a long row of prerequisites. Treat them as eleven parallel projects rather than a line.[2][3]
- Dimensional Seed from a quest in "?", gated behind the three miniature portal quests.[2]
- Dragon Soul from a quest in "?".[2]
- Improbable Probability Device from a quest in "?".[2]
- Nexium Emitter from a quest in "?".[2]

- Patrick Star from a quest in "?".[2]
- Philosopher's Fuel from a quest in "?".[2]
- Pulsating Black Hole from a quest in "?".[2]
- Wither's Compass from a quest in "?".[2]
Two of these are worth calling out. The Pulsating Black Hole is crafted in the Pressure Chamber rather than on a crafting grid, and the Patrick Star has two routes: a Pressure Chamber recipe made entirely from concrete, or a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe that spits one out alongside wax. If you already have a bee setup running, the centrifuge route is by far the lazier one.[3]

The ATM Star

After the star
Once stars start flowing, there are a few things to do with them. You can pack them into an ATM Star Block and unpack it again, and crushing a star in a Mekanism crusher gives you an ATM Star Shard. Productive Bees can also centrifuge out star shards directly, which is handy if you want shards without spending whole stars.[3]
The mod also adds plain storage blocks for Ender Pearl Block and Nether Star Block, plus a GregStar Block that packs and unpacks GregStar. All of these, including the ATM Star Block, are recognised by the compression chain and can be pulled back out of their 1x compressed versions.[3]
Unverified The sources here don't show how the GregStar itself is obtained in this pack, only how it converts to and from its storage block.
How does AllTheTweaks work with other mods?
5 parts
AllTheTweaks is the glue between a lot of other mods in this pack. Nearly everything it adds is crafted from items of other mods, and the finished items are then used to unlock creative-tier items from those mods. Here is how the connections fit together.[3]
The ATM Star is the hub
The ATM Star is made in a PneumaticCraft pressure chamber, using a recipe added by the pack. It takes the other big AllTheTweaks items, plus Nether Star Block 3x from AllTheCompressed, Block of Unobtainium - Allthemodium Alloy from Allthemodium and Creative Essence from Mystical Agradditions.[3]

Where each component pulls from other mods
The three miniature portals (Miniature End Portal, Miniature Exit Portal and Miniature Nether Portal) are built around Apothic Enchanting shelves and some vanilla items. They are then combined with AllTheCompressed blocks to make the Dimensional Seed. Quests: a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and a quest in "?".[2][3]

Creative items from the ATM Star
Once you have an ATM Star, the pack uses it as the key ingredient for creative versions of other mods' items. Each of these recipes was added by the pack:[3]
- Creative Energy Cell is made in Powah's energizing machine, starting from a Superdense Energy Cell.[3]
- Energy Cell (Creative) is also made by energizing, starting from a Energy Cell (Nitro).[3]
- Creative Energy Battery is energized from an Energy Battery.[3]
- Creative Energy Cube is energized from a Creative Energy Cube. The recipe's input and output are listed as the same item.[3]
- Creative Source Jar is made at the Enchanting Apparatus, together with a Source Gem Block.[3]
- Creative Spell Book is crafted from an Archmage Spell Book and other ingredients.[3]
- Creative Compressed Iron Block and Creative Compressor are both made in the pressure chamber.[3]
- The Iron Jetpacks creative jetpack is crafted with the ATM Star, Unobtainium Chestplate and Creative Essence.[3]

AllTheCompressed
AllTheCompressed has a first compression tier for four AllTheTweaks blocks: Nether Star Block, Ender Pearl Block, GregStar Block and ATM Star Block. Which All the Mods 10 quests use AllTheTweaks?
3 parts
All the quests tied to this mod's items in the pack are in the chapter called chapter_2_the_star. The quests have no titles in the pack data, so this section identifies each one by the item it asks for. Each quest's task is simply to bring in that item.[2]
Early quests: the miniature portals
The earliest quests in this chapter are the three portal ones. They all unlock after the same earlier quest, so you can do them in any order.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature End Portal.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature Exit Portal.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Miniature Nether Portal.[2]
All three feed into a quest in "?", which asks for the Dimensional Seed. That quest needs the three portal quests above, plus several other quests from the chapter.[2]
The big item quests
Beyond the seed, the chapter has a set of quests for the mod's other major items. Each one unlocks only after a group of earlier quests in the chapter is complete.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Oblivion Shard. It has the shortest list of prerequisites of the group.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Nexium Emitter.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Pulsating Black Hole.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Philosopher's Fuel.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Improbable Probability Device.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Wither's Compass.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Dragon Soul.[2]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Patrick Star, and it unlocks only after a long list of earlier quests in the chapter.[2]
The finish: ATM Star
The last quest in the chapter is a quest in "?", which asks for the ATM Star. It unlocks after the quests for the Pulsating Black Hole, Nexium Emitter, Patrick Star, Dimensional Seed, Wither's Compass, Improbable Probability Device, Philosopher's Fuel, Dragon Soul and Oblivion Shard. It also needs a few other quests from the chapter.[2]
Unverified The quest data I have does not show rewards, quest titles or how to craft these items, so none of that is covered here. Check in-game or the item pages for those details.
