About ForgeBase
ForgeBase is a fan-made guide to modded Minecraft: 10 packs so far, All the Mods 10 first. Every fact on the site comes from a stored source: pack files, official mod metadata, changelogs and documentation. Pages show when they were last checked.
How to use ForgeBase
- Browse the guides: every mod a pack is built around, in depth
- Pick a pack: its mod list, what changed in each release, and its known issues
- Search mods, items, recipes, quests and config settings across every pack
- Follow a pack's quest book, or the path through it step by step
- Look up any item the pack registers: what makes it, what it's used in, and how to make it from scratch
- See what a release changed in your game: recipes, items and what stopped being craftable

Where the item pictures come from
Where a mod's licence allows it, you see that mod's own texture, credited on the item's page. Where it doesn't, and most modded artwork is the author's with all rights reserved, nothing of theirs is stored or served. Instead the texture is read once, only the handful of colours it is made of is kept, and the picture you see is drawn by us from scratch in those colours: an ingot as an ingot, a gear as a gear. It should be recognisable at a glance without being anyone else's artwork. If you made a mod and would rather we didn't show even that, tell us and we'll take it out.
How the guides are written
Each guide is written from what the pack itself ships: its recipe dump, its config files, its quest book and the mods' own guidebooks and pages. Every statement links to the source it came from, and the numbers, items and recipes are checked against the pack before a guide is published. Where a guide covers several packs, it says so at the top.
Data sources and credits
ForgeBase builds its pages from these, and their owners keep their rights in them:
- Pack files, recipes, configs and quest books: read from the packs as their authors release them.
- Mod names, versions, descriptions and changelogs: from CurseForge and Modrinth, and each mod's own documentation and guidebook.
- Item pictures: a mod's own texture only where its licence allows, otherwise drawn by us from the texture's colours (see above).
