ForgeBase is a fan project run by John Hall. It exists so that a player can look up what a modpack really does, written from the pack's own files rather than from memory or hearsay.
What I am responsible for
- Choosing which packs and mods the site covers, and keeping the pack data up to date with each release.
- Reviewing every guide before it goes live. A guide is drafted with the help of AI from the pack's files and the mods' documentation; nothing is published until a person has read it.
- Answering corrections and removal requests, and fixing what is wrong.
How a page gets here
Facts come from stored sources and every statement in a guide links to the one it came from. The data sources page lists them. When a page is wrong, the corrections page says how to tell us and what happens next.
