What is AllTheTweaks?

Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide

AllTheTweaks is part of the pack's mod list, and the pack ships version 1.9.9.9i-1.18.2-40.1.73 of it (the file is allthetweaks-1.9.9.9i-1.18.2-40.1.73.jar). It has been in the pack since this version or earlier.[1]

Unverified I couldn't confirm from the available sources what AllTheTweaks adds or changes, who it is meant for, or where it fits in the pack's progression. I also couldn't confirm any ATM Star path or quest involvement, so I'm not guessing. Check back once more details are documented.

How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?

2 parts

This mod is small and item-focused, so there's no machine chain to build and no quest line to follow here. In this pack it contributes exactly two items, and they sit at opposite ends of the difficulty scale, so the order you tackle them in works itself out.[2]

Start with the Patrick Star

Your realistic first pickup is Patrick Star. It isn't a crafting-table item at all: it's produced by a centrifuge recipe, which also gives you Wax as a second output. If you're already running a centrifuge for wax, this one is basically a freebie once the setup is going.[2]

Patrick Star, WaxMod recipe

Centrifuge (productivebees)

    Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/atm/honeycomb_patrick

Processed in a centrifuge, not a crafting table.

Unverified The recipe dump for this centrifuge entry didn't record its input, so the exact item you need to feed in isn't confirmed here. Open the recipe in your in-game recipe viewer to see the input side. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

Then work toward the Improbable Probability Device

The other item, Improbable Probability Device, is a long-term goal rather than an early one. The pack adds its own shaped crafting recipe for it, and that recipe pulls in finished, late-game components from a whole spread of different tech and magic mods, so you won't be building one until several of those mods are well underway.[2]

Shaped crafting recipe added by the pack.

Tip: Treat this recipe as a checklist rather than a crafting step. Open it in your recipe viewer early, note which mod each of the seven components comes from, and tick them off as you naturally progress instead of trying to rush the whole lot in one go.[2]
Watch out: Because the pack defines this recipe itself rather than using a mod default, don't go by videos or wikis built on other setups. The components listed in your in-game recipe viewer are the ones that actually apply here.[2]

Unverified What the Improbable Probability Device actually does once you're holding it isn't covered by the pack data available for this guide, so check its in-game tooltip or test it on a spare world before committing those materials.

    How does AllTheTweaks work?

    2 parts

AllTheTweaks doesn't add machines, multiblocks, or power, fluid and item handling that I can describe from the sources for this pack. What the sources do show is two items with recipes, so this section stays short.[2]

    Improbable Probability Device

The Improbable Probability Device is made in a normal crafting grid with a shaped recipe. The pack added this recipe itself. It is a pack-defined crafting step rather than a mod machine process, so you craft it by hand and don't need any special machine.[2]

    Pack-added shaped crafting recipe.

    Patrick Star

The Patrick Star comes from a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, not from AllTheTweaks itself. That recipe also gives you Wax as a second output. The recipe dump lists no item inputs for it.[2]

    Patrick Star, WaxMod recipe

    Centrifuge (productivebees)

      Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/atm/honeycomb_patrick

Centrifuge recipe that outputs Patrick Star and Wax.

Unverified Any machines, multiblocks, power or fluid requirements, and automation behaviour for AllTheTweaks items could not be confirmed. The mod has no in-jar guidebook, no lang descriptions, no config files in the pack and no reusable documentation. Neither the centrifuge's real inputs nor what the Improbable Probability Device does once crafted is confirmed.

How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?

      2 parts

AllTheTweaks doesn't have a tier ladder of its own in this pack. What the pack data shows is a single end-game style crafting target, the Improbable Probability Device, plus one oddball item, the Patrick Star.[2]

      Improbable Probability Device

The pack adds its own shaped crafting recipe for the Improbable Probability Device. It pulls one top-end item from each of seven different mods: AE2, Iron's Furnaces, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, MEGA Cells, Mekanism, Modern Industrialization and PneumaticCraft. So you can't make it until you've progressed far in several tech and magic lines at once.[2]

Added by the pack, so it won't match the mod's default.

      Patrick Star

The Patrick Star comes from a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, which also gives Wax. This is a mod recipe, not one the pack added. The dump lists no item inputs for it.[2]

      Patrick Star, WaxMod recipe

      Centrifuge (productivebees)

        Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/atm/honeycomb_patrick

Unverified The sources don't show any quests for this mod, or any other tiers or stages beyond the two recipes above. How the Improbable Probability Device is used, and which bee or honeycomb feeds the Patrick Star centrifuge recipe, is unverified.

How does AllTheTweaks work with other mods?

        2 parts

AllTheTweaks connects to other mods in two places in this pack. One is a crafting recipe for the Improbable Probability Device. The other is a pair of Productive Bees recipes that use the ATM Star Block and the Patrick Star.[2]

        Improbable Probability Device

The pack added this shaped crafting recipe itself. It combines one item from each of several other mods, so it works as a tour of the pack's big tech and magic mods. Check the recipe below for the exact layout.[2]

Added by the pack, not a default from the mod.

        Productive Bees

Productive Bees has a bee conversion recipe that turns the ATM Star Block into the starry bee. This is a regular recipe from Productive Bees, not a pack change.[2]

        StarryMod recipe

        Bee Conversion (productivebees)

        Recipe id: productivebees:bee_conversion/atm/starry_bee

There is also a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe whose outputs are the Patrick Star and Wax. The recipe dump shows no item inputs for it.[2]

        Patrick Star, WaxMod recipe

        Centrifuge (productivebees)

          Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/atm/honeycomb_patrick

Unverified Quest links and any other cross-mod uses of AllTheTweaks items could not be confirmed from the data available, so this section only covers the three recipes above.
