What is Generator Galore?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Generator Galore adds a whole family of simple, no-fuss power generators. All the Mods 10 8.1 ships version 1.21.1-1.7.0. The most basic generators work like a Furnace with Augment: Generator. You put Fuel in and they turn it into Energy.[1][2]
The mod has its own quest line in the "Generators N Furnaces" chapter. It starts right after the Furnace quest with "Copper Generator" quest, so you can pick it up early. You have to start with the Copper Generator, because you need one to make the Iron Generator.[2]
Tiers and fuel types
Each upgrade improves everything: how much Energy the generator makes, how much it can hold and how fast it can transfer power to other blocks. The quests take you from Copper to Iron, then Gold, then Diamond. After Diamond they branch into the Emerald, Netherite and Obsidian Generators. The Emerald Generator is very fast and efficient, but it can't be upgraded any further. The Netherstar Generator comes after the Netherite Generator, and the quests call it the most powerful and efficient generator.[2]
The Gold tier also opens up generators that don't just burn Furnace Fuel. You can make power from Food, Liquid Honey, Potions, Enchanted Books, Lava, and Ender Pearls or Eyes of Ender. That makes the mod a handy way to turn leftovers from your other farms into Energy.[2]
Compressed generators and the ATM Star
You can combine 8 identical generators into one 8x version. It works like 8 regular generators but only takes up the space of 1. Some types go one step further: 8 of the same 8x generators combine into a 64x version that works like 64 generators in a single block.[2]
Generator Galore is also part of the ATM Star path. You need a 64x Magmatic Generator to craft the ATM Star. The "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" quests also include the Ender Generator and the 64x Netherstar Generator. The quests describe the 64x Netherstar Generator as the most powerful and expensive generator in the mod.[2][3]
How do you get started with Generator Galore?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Generator Galore is all about simple, no-nonsense power. The most basic generators work like a Furnace that makes energy instead of smelting: you put fuel in and get Energy out. Each tier is built on the one before it, so your early game is basically climbing a ladder, one generator at a time.[2][4]
Step 1: Copper Generator
Your first build is the Copper Generator, and you can't skip it. The quest book says outright that you have to start with Copper. It unlocks right after The Furnace quest as "Copper Generator" quest, and it's also a task in Chapter 1: The Beginning as a quest in "Chapter 1: The Beginning".[2][5]

Once it's placed, open it up. The screen shows how much fuel time is left and its transfer rate in FE/t, which is handy for checking that your setup is actually pushing power out.[6]
Step 2: Iron Generator
Next up is the Iron Generator ("Iron Generator" quest). Each tier improves everything: how much energy it makes, how much it can store and how fast it can transfer to other blocks. Sorry, Copper haters: you need a Copper Generator to make an Iron Generator.[2]

Unverified The pack also has a Copper to Iron Upgrade item with its own recipe. The sources don't explain how it is used, for example whether it upgrades a generator that is already placed, so test it before you rely on it.
Step 3: Gold Generator
The Gold Generator ("Gold Generator" quest) comes after Iron, and this is where things get fun. Gold opens up the more unique generators that don't just burn Furnace fuel.[2]

Where to go from Gold
- The Culinary Generator is the first truly unique generator. It burns food instead of coal, lava or logs, and the energy it makes depends on the food's Food Points, so Steak gives more than a Carrot.[2]
- The Diamond Generator still runs on normal Furnace fuel and is the next step on the path toward the Emerald, Netherite and Obsidian Generators.[2]
- If you're swimming in lava, the Magmatic Generator counts for the "Lava Power" quest early-power quest. Lava goes in and Energy comes out, but it sits further down the tree, after the Obsidian Generator.[2][5]

How does Generator Galore work?
6 parts
Generator Galore is a set of generators that turn fuel into FE. Each generator type comes as a normal block, an 8x block and a 64x block. The types in the language file are copper, iron, gold, diamond, emerald, netherite, netherstar, obsidian, culinary, honey, potion, enchantment, ender, halitosis and magmatic.[6]
What you see on the machine
The generator screen shows the remaining fuel time and the transfer rate, which is displayed in FE/t.[6]
Fuel
Fuel is defined in the mod's data maps. These are the entries the sources confirm.[7][8]
- Magmatic Generator burns a fluid, not items. It accepts anything in the lava fluid tag, with a consumption rate of 0.4 and a generation rate of 40.0.[7]
- Ender Generator burns ender pearls (burn time 1,600, generation rate 96) and ender eyes (burn time 3,200, generation rate 80). Both have a consumption rate of 1.0.[8]
- Halitosis Generator burns dragon breath, with a burn time of 12,000, a consumption rate of 1.0 and a generation rate of 128.[8]
Notice the trade-off on the Ender Generator: an ender eye lasts longer per item than a pearl, but has a lower generation rate.[8]
Unverified The fuel entries for the other generator types are not shown in the sources here, and the sources do not state the units of burn time, consumption rate or generation rate.
8x and 64x tiers
This pack sets General.increasedConsumption to true. With it on, the 8x and 64x versions raise the consumption rate as well as the production rate. With it off, they would only raise production. The config comment says this will be on by default in 1.22.[9]
Crafting the bigger tiers
The pack changes the 8x and 64x recipes. Here is an example of each, exactly as they work in this pack.[10]

Upgrade items
The mod also has upgrade items that each name a step from one generator type to another. These are the steps:[6]
- Copper to Iron, then Iron to Gold.[6]
- Gold to Culinary or Gold to Diamond.[6]
- Culinary to Honey or Culinary to Potion.[6]
- Diamond to Emerald, Diamond to Netherite or Diamond to Obsidian.[6]
- Netherite to Netherstar.[6]
- Obsidian to Enchantment, Obsidian to Ender or Obsidian to Magmatic.[6]
- Ender to Halitosis.[6]
Breaking and moving generators
The loot tables for the normal, 8x and 64x Copper Generator drop the block itself when it is broken. The only condition is that the block survives an explosion.[11][12][13]
How do you progress through Generator Galore?
4 parts
Generator Galore in this pack is a straight upgrade ladder. You start with the Copper Generator, and every other generator is crafted from an earlier one, so you can't skip a tier. Every recipe for this mod in the pack's recipe dump is flagged as changed by the pack, so don't trust the default recipes you may remember from other packs.[10]
The tier chain
- Copper Generator is where everyone begins. The quest book says the most basic generators act like furnaces with Augment: Generator, taking fuel and turning it into energy.[14]
- Iron Generator is crafted from a Copper Generator. The quest says each upgrade improves everything, from how much energy it makes to how much it holds and how much it can transfer to other blocks.[10][14]
- Gold Generator is crafted from an Iron Generator. The quest says it also opens up more unique generators that don't just take furnace fuel.[10][14]
- Diamond Generator comes from the Gold Generator and still uses normal furnace fuel.[10][14]

Where the chain branches
The Gold Generator leads to two paths. One is the Diamond branch, which has three endings. The other is the Culinary branch, which is all about unusual fuels.[10][14]
- Emerald Generator is made from the Diamond Generator. The quest says it makes energy from fuel at a very fast rate, but it is the end of the line and can't be upgraded any further. It still uses normal furnace fuel.[10][14]
- Netherite Generator is also made from the Diamond Generator, through a smithing recipe instead of a crafting grid. The quest says it makes energy at the same rate as the Emerald Generator but has a much higher transfer rate. Netherstar Generator follows it and is described as the most powerful and efficient generator.[10][14]
- Obsidian Generator is slower than the Emerald and Netherite Generators, but the quest says it has more upgrades than both of them combined. From it you can reach Magmatic Generator (lava in, energy out), Ender Generator (Ender Pearls and Eyes of Ender) and Enchantment Generator (Enchanted Books, where level and rarity change the energy).[10][14]
- Halitosis Generator is the step after the Ender Generator and makes energy from Dragon's Breath.[10][14]
- Culinary Generator takes food instead of coal, lava or logs, and the energy depends on the food points, so steak beats a carrot. From it you reach Honey Generator (Liquid Honey) and Potion Generator (potions, based on strength and duration).[10][14]
The pack also has an upgrade item for each of these steps, such as Copper to Iron Upgrade and Obsidian to Magmatic Upgrade, each with its own recipe. The Diamond to Netherite Upgrade is a smithing recipe that starts from the Gold to Diamond Upgrade.[10]
Following it in the quest book
The full ladder lives in the Generators N Furnaces chapter (group Power, chapter 47 of 66), shared with the Iron Furnaces quests. It begins at "The Furnace" quest, which leads to "Copper Generator" quest, then "Iron Generator" quest, then "Gold Generator" quest. After Gold the book splits into a quest in "Generators N Furnaces" for Culinary and "Diamond Generator" quest for Diamond.[14]
Culinary leads to "Honey Generator" quest and "Potion Generator" quest. Diamond leads to "Emerald Generator" quest, "Netherite Generator" quest and "Obsidian Generator" quest. Netherite leads on to a quest in "Generators N Furnaces". Obsidian leads to "Magmatic Generator" quest, "Ender Generator" quest and "Enchantment Generator" quest, and Ender leads to "Halitosis Generator" quest.[14]
You'll meet the mod earlier too. In Chapter 1 the Copper Generator has its own quest, and "Lava Power" quest accepts the Magmatic Generator as one way to get early lava power. "Generators Galore" quest asks for any one of the Enchantment, Halitosis, Netherstar or Potion Generators.[15]
8x and 64x generators
Once you have a Copper Generator, "8x What a deal!" quest introduces the 8x versions. You craft 8 of the same generator together with an Echo Shard, and the result works like 8 regular generators but takes the space of 1. The pack has an 8x recipe for every generator tier in the chain, from Copper up to Netherstar.[10][14]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: generatorgalore:8x/copper_generator_8x
The 64x generators combine eight of the matching 8x generator with a Conduit into one block that works like 64 regular generators. In this pack's recipes they exist for nine types: Culinary, Enchantment, Ender, Halitosis, Honey, Magmatic, Netherite, Netherstar and Potion.[10][14]

How does Generator Galore work with other mods?
2 parts
Generator Galore isn't just a standalone power mod in this pack. Its generators show up as ingredients in recipes for items from other mods, and the quest book ties it to a few mods directly.[10][14]
Recipes that use Generator Galore blocks
Some recipes added by the pack take Generator Galore blocks as ingredients. The first is Philosopher's Fuel, which uses an Ender Generator and a 64x Magmatic Generator together with items from other mods. The recipe below shows the exact in-pack setup.[10]

What the quest book says
The quest chapter "Generators N Furnaces" sits in the Power group, as chapter 47 of 66 in the book. It starts from the vanilla Furnace and covers Generator Galore side by side with Iron Furnaces. The quest text calls them two different but similar mods, and both begin with the Furnace. "The Furnace" quest opens the chapter, "Copper Generator" quest follows it for the generator line, and "Iron Furnace" quest and "Copper Furnace" quest cover the furnace upgrades.[14]
The 64x quest a quest in "Generators N Furnaces" comes after "8x What a deal!" quest. Its text says a 64x Magmatic Generator is needed to craft the ATM Star. The ATM Star has its own chapter, "Chapter 3: The ATM Star", whose quest text isn't shown here, so check the quest book for the rest of that recipe.[14]
- "Honey Generator" quest: the Honey Generator is described as a link between Generator Galore and Productive Bees, and it runs on Liquid Honey.[14]
- "Ender Generator" quest: the Ender Generator turns Ender Pearls into energy, and the quest says Eyes of Ender give even more. It mentions endermen farms for XP or Apotheosis Gems as a source of pearls.[14]
- "Halitosis Generator" quest: the Halitosis Generator burns Dragon's Breath. The quest suggests farming it with an Extractor from XyCraft and a Dragon's Head.[14]
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Generator Galore?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Generator Galore appears in three quest chapters. Chapter 1: The Beginning gives you a quick introduction. Most of the progression is in the Generators N Furnaces chapter, and a couple of its biggest generators come back in Chapter 3: The ATM Star.[2][3][5]
Chapter 1: The Beginning
- a quest in "Chapter 1: The Beginning" asks for a Copper Generator and introduces the mod's generators, which run on coal or other items.[5]
- Next, "Generators Galore" quest wants any one of the more specialised generators. It accepts an Enchantment Generator, Halitosis Generator, Netherstar Generator or Potion Generator. The quest notes that these need specific builds.[5]
- Separately, "Lava Power" quest follows the Lava Bucket quest and covers early game power. You can finish it with a Magmatic Generator, or with Powah's Magmator (Basic) or Magmator (Starter).[5]
Generators N Furnaces
This is the mod's main chapter, and it opens after The Furnace quest. "Copper Generator" quest explains that the basic generators work like Furnaces with Augment: Generator: you put Fuel in and get Energy out. You have to start with the Copper Generator.[2]
- "Iron Generator" quest needs a Copper Generator as an ingredient. Each upgrade improves how much Energy the generator makes, how much it can hold and how much it can transfer.[2]
- "Gold Generator" quest comes next. It also opens up generators that don't just burn Furnace Fuel.[2]
- "Diamond Generator" quest follows Gold. It still uses normal Furnace Fuel.[2]
- Diamond branches into three quests. "Emerald Generator" quest turns Fuel into Energy very quickly but can't be upgraded any further. "Netherite Generator" quest makes Energy at the same rate as Emerald but has a much higher Transfer Rate. "Obsidian Generator" quest is slower than both, but it has more upgrades than all of those combined.[2]
- a quest in "Generators N Furnaces" comes after Netherite and asks for the Netherstar Generator. The quest calls it the most powerful and efficient generator.[2]
Special fuel generators
- a quest in "Generators N Furnaces" follows Gold and asks for the Culinary Generator. It burns anything with Food Points, and food with more Food Points gives more Energy, so Steak beats a Carrot.[2]
- The Culinary quest unlocks "Honey Generator" quest, which runs on Liquid Honey and ties in nicely with Productive Bees. It also unlocks "Potion Generator" quest, which makes Energy from Potions based on their strength and duration.[2]
- Obsidian unlocks three more quests. "Enchantment Generator" quest runs on Enchanted Books, and higher level and rarity give more Energy. "Magmatic Generator" quest runs on Lava. "Ender Generator" quest uses Ender Pearls, or Eyes of Ender for even more Energy.[2]
- "Halitosis Generator" quest follows Ender and burns Dragon's Breath. The quest suggests farming Dragon's Breath with a XyCraft Extractor and a Dragon's Head.[2]
Compact generators
"8x What a deal!" quest unlocks after the Copper Generator and accepts any 8x generator. You combine 8 of the same generator with an Echo Shard to make one. It works the same as 8 regular generators but takes up the space of only 1. After that, a quest in "Generators N Furnaces" accepts any 64x generator, which you make by combining 8 of the same 8x generator with a Conduit. It works like 64 regular generators in a single block. Keep an eye on this one, because a 64x Magmatic Generator is needed to craft the ATM Star.[2]
Chapter 3: The ATM Star
Three quests here follow a Generator Galore prerequisite. a quest in "Chapter 3: The ATM Star" asks for the 64x Netherstar Generator, which the quest calls the most powerful and expensive generator in the mod. It needs an Echo Shard, a Conduit and a ton of Netherstar Generators. "64x Magmatic Generator" quest can either chew through Lava or go toward the Star. "Ender Generator" quest reminds you that you can upgrade your Obsidian Generator into an Ender Generator. You can then run it on Ender Pearls or Eyes of Ender, or use it for the Star.[3]
Which Generator Galore config options matter?
Only one Generator Galore option is confirmed for this pack, and it is a good one to know about. It lives in the server config file, so it applies to the world rather than to each player.[9]
General.increasedConsumption is set to true in this pack. The option's own comment explains that it makes the 8x and 64x versions increase the consumption rate, not just the production rate.[9]
The same comment says this behaviour "will be default on in 1.22". That suggests the setting is not on by default in the mod version shipped here, so this pack turns it on ahead of that change. The source doesn't state the current mod default outright, so treat that part as an inference from the comment.[9]
Unverified Other Generator Galore options, such as individual generator output values, are not confirmed for this pack, so this section doesn't cover them.
What changed in Generator Galore between versions?
All the Mods 10 8.2 ships Generator Galore 1.21.1-1.7.0. The mod was already in the pack by All the Mods 10 2.42 or earlier, and the pack changelogs record these version bumps since then.[17]
- All the Mods 10 3.0: updated from 1.21.1-1.3.4 to 1.21.1-1.4.0.[18]
- All the Mods 10 4.0: updated from 1.21.1-1.4.0 to 1.21.1-1.5.0.[19]
- All the Mods 10 4.5: updated from 1.21.1-1.5.0 to 1.21.1-1.6.3.[20]
- All the Mods 10 8.1: updated from 1.21.1-1.6.3 to 1.21.1-1.7.0, which is the version still in 8.2.[17][21]
Unverified The pack changelogs only list the version bumps, and no changelogs for the shipped jars are stored. What each update changed inside the mod, such as new generators, balance tweaks or fixes, is unverified.
