What is EvilCraft?
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.10.0-beta guide
This pack ships EvilCraft at version 1.2.107, built for NeoForge (the jar is evilcraft-26.1.2-neoforge-1.2.107.jar). So everything in this guide describes that version, not other releases you may have seen in videos or elsewhere.[1]
The mod has been in the pack for a while: it was first included in version 0.0.6 or earlier.[1]
How do you get started with EvilCraft?
5 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.46 guide
Everything in this mod starts underground. Your first goal is the Dark Gem, which you mine like any other ore, and the pack's own advancement calls that moment the discovery of the origins of the first evil age. Grab a decent stack before you start crafting, because nearly every early recipe here runs through gems in one form or another.[2]
Get the in-game book first
The mod has its own guide, the Origins of Darkness, and you have to earn it. Craft a Darkened Apple, feed it to an animal, and throw a book into the anomaly that appears. That gets you a copy of the book, which is by far the best companion to this guide while you play.[2][3]
Feed this to an animal, then throw a book into the anomaly.
Spikes and the second age
Spikes are your first real tool of the trade: sharp, durable, and very unpopular with mobs. They are the stepping stone toward blood collection, so make a few early.[2][3]
The Blood Extractor is the milestone item of the mod's early game, and crafting one initiates the second evil age. Blood itself comes from blood stains, the splashes left behind when an entity falls to its death, so expect to spend some time farming mobs.[2][3]

Unverified The exact way the Blood Extractor picks up blood from stains, and how much it holds, is not covered by the sources used for this page.
Storage for your blood
Once blood starts flowing you need somewhere to put it. The Dark Tank holds about sixteen buckets, and you can expand it by placing several tanks together in a crafting grid without losing any of the fluid inside.[2][3]
- Right-click a placed tank to give it a purple glow: it opens a hole at the bottom and automatically fills tanks, item containers and players carrying containers underneath it.[2]
- Shift and right-click while holding the tank without aiming at a block to enable a mode that fills whatever container you are currently holding.[2]
Your first machines
The Blood Infusion Core is the shared heart of the mod's early machinery, so make this before you plan any bigger builds.[3]

Spend your first core on the Blood Infuser, the machine that turns blood into upgraded materials and unlocks most of what comes later in this guide.[3]

Two quality-of-life extras
While you have spare gems, the Eternal Water Block is worth the detour: it is an infinite source of water, handy next to any base or farm setup.[2][3]

How does EvilCraft work?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.50 guide
EvilCraft runs on blood. Almost every machine, tool and upgrade in the mod either produces blood, stores it, or burns it to do something nasty, and the mod frames that progression as a series of "ages": mining Dark Gems opens the first age, and crafting a Blood Extractor marks the start of the second.[2]
Getting blood out of mobs
When an entity falls to its death it leaves behind a Blood Stain block, which is the raw material the mod's early blood farming is built on. The Blood Extractor is your first way to collect it by hand.[2]

For automation you move to the Sanguinary Pedestal, which drains blood from blood stains in the area around it. There is a second, upgraded tier that drains more blood from the same area, so an existing setup can be improved in place rather than rebuilt.[2]
To feed a pedestal you need mobs dying on top of it, and that is what the Spiked Plate is for. It damages any mob walking over it while leaving you and other players unharmed, and the Dark Gem inside it makes mobs killed this way drop the same things they would if a player had killed them. Place the plate on a pedestal and the blood goes straight into your system. The plates also emit a redstone signal while a mob is taking damage, which gives you a free trigger for timers, counters or spawner control.[2]
Fluid handling with Dark Tanks
The Dark Tank is EvilCraft's universal fluid container, and it works both as a placed block and as an item in your inventory. A single tank holds about sixteen buckets, and if that is not enough you place several tanks together in a crafting grid to combine them into a larger tank, with no fluid lost in the process.[2]
- Right-click a placed tank to give it a purple glow and open a hole in its bottom, which automatically fills tanks, item containers and players carrying containers underneath it.[2]
- Shift + right-click while holding a tank and not aiming at a block enables auto-supply mode, which tops up whatever container you are currently holding if it accepts that fluid.[2]
- The Entangled Chalice shares its contents across every chalice at once, so any chalice acts as a remote access point to the same fluid; shift + right-click enables its omni-supply mode.[2]
Blood Infusion Cores and the machines that use them
The Blood Infusion Core is the shared heart of the mod's mid-game blocks. You build it once and then use it as the centrepiece of both the Blood Infuser and the Blood Chest.[4]

If a single Blood Chest is not enough throughput for you, the mod also has a Colossal Blood Chest, described as an industry-sized version of the same block.[2]
Unverified The exact recipe types the Blood Infuser accepts, and the blood cost and speed of each operation, are not covered by the sources used for this page. Check JEI in-game for the current in-pack values. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Spirit machines
Vengeance Spirits are the mod's other resource stream. You capture one by using a Vengeance Focus on it while holding a Box of Eternal Closure, and from there two multiblock-style machines take over.[2]
- The Spirit Furnace cooks captured Vengeance Spirits to obtain the drops of the mob the spirit came from. It halts when there is no more space for drops, so keep its output side pulled away by pipes or a chest.[2]
- The Spirit Reanimator revives Vengeance Spirits instead of cooking them. It needs a valid, non-empty box and a matching mob spawn egg, and it will refuse to run if you mix different mob eggs into it.[2]
Environmental Accumulators and biome swapping
The Environmental Accumulator is not craftable and is found at Dark Temples out in the world. One of its abilities is filling Biome Extract bottles with the biome the machine is standing in; throw a filled bottle on the ground anywhere and it transforms that area into that biome. The catch is that the accumulator degrades its own biome over time, so bottles from a long-running machine become close to useless.[2]
The Sanguinary Environmental Accumulator is the craftable alternative. It is a structure rather than a single block: when it is built wrong, its help text lists the positions where tanks holding blood are still required, so follow those coordinates to finish the build.[2]
This pack also gives you a straight crafting recipe for Biome Extract, which sidesteps the accumulator's biome degradation entirely.[2][4]

Item handling and automation helpers
The Display Stand supports any wood type and can be placed at any rotation, and it is genuinely automatable: you pipe items in and out through the bottom or the top faces. Interaction from every other side is delegated to the item sitting on the stand, so you can access that item's own inventory, fluids or energy through the block.[2]
The Exalted Crafter is the mod's portable crafting solution. Attach a chest to it for an internal inventory (even an Ender Chest works) and you can craft from inside your inventory anywhere. It can be bound to a hotkey: pressing that key with the GUI open clears the grid back into your inventory, and holding shift while pressing it balances the items currently in the grid. A toggle button lets you choose whether shift-removing items from the grid sends them to the crafter's internal inventory or your player inventory. Striking the crafter with lightning binds it to reality so it can no longer be destroyed or despawn when dropped.[2]
How do you progress through EvilCraft?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 0.46 guide
EvilCraft's progression in this pack is a chain of crafting steps. It starts with Dark Gems, moves through Dark Power Gems and the Blood Infusion Core, and ends in the Empowered Inverted Potentia gear. Here is how the recipes in the pack line up into tiers.[3]
Unverified No quest data was available for this mod, so this section follows the recipe chain instead of a quest line. How you first obtain raw materials such as Dark Gems, Crushed Dark Gem, Hardened Blood Shard and Garmonbozia is not covered by the recipes I was given, so check that in game.
Tier 1: Dark Gem basics
The Dark Gem is the foundation of the early game. The Dark Block and the Dark Gem convert back and forth, so you can store gems compactly.[3]
Dark Gems feed a lot of early items: the Dark Stick, the Spike, the Dark Tank, Obscured Glass, Eternal Water Block and the Darkened Apple. The Blood Extractor also lives in this tier, since it only needs gems, a spike and glass.[3]

Tier 2: Dark Power Gems and the Blood Infusion Core
The big gate is the Blood Infusion Core. It is made from a Dark Power Gem and a Hardened Blood Shard.[3]

Recipe id: evilcraft:crafting/blood_infusion_core
Once you have cores, you can build the Blood Infuser and the Blood Chest. The Colossal Blood Chest is the upgrade, and it needs a Reinforced Undead Planks on top of the core.[3]

You also need the Empty Orb from this point on, because the filled Blood Orb is an ingredient in later gear.[3]
Tier 3: Utility gear
With cores and Dark Power Gems in hand, you can start on the utility items. The Blood Pearl of Teleportation and the Invigorating Pendant come first. The Kineticator and the Repelling Kineticator need both a core and a filled orb. The Effortless Ring is built from a Promise of Productivity and a Promise of Velocity.[3]

Tier 4: Potentia and the weapons
The end-game line runs through the Potentia Sphere, then the Inverted Potentia, then the Empowered Inverted Potentia. The pack changed the Potentia Sphere recipe from the mod's version, so follow the one rendered here and not older guides.[3]

The Empowered Inverted Potentia is the key ingredient for the top-tier tools: the Mace of Destruction, the Mace of Distortion and the Necromancer Staff. The Mace of Destruction also needs Garmonbozia, while the Distortion mace and the Necromancer Staff need a Dark Power Gem.[3]

How does EvilCraft work with other mods?
3 parts
The only cross-mod recipes I can confirm for EvilCraft in this pack all involve Productive Bees. They cover bee conversion, centrifuge processing and a crafting recipe for a bee spawn egg. Here's each one.[5]
Bee conversion: Dark Block
The recipe productivebees:bee_conversion/evilcraft/dark_gem_bee is a Productive Bees bee conversion recipe. It takes a Dark Block and gives productivebees:dark_gem.[5]
Centrifuge recipes
- Blood: the centrifuge recipe honeycomb_bloody turns Blood into Wax.[5]
- Dark Gem: the centrifuge recipe honeycomb_dark_gem outputs Dark Gem, Crushed Dark Gem and Wax. The dump lists no item inputs for it.[5]
Crafting a configurable bee
There is also a shaped crafting recipe that combines an EvilCraft item with a Productive Bees spawn egg. It produces a configurable bee and its spawn egg, Spawn Egg Configurable Bee. Here is the exact in-pack recipe:[5]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: productivebees:evilcraft/bloody_bee_2
Unverified The dump doesn't say what feeds the Dark Gem centrifuge recipe, since it lists no item inputs. It also doesn't explain how the bee conversion recipe is triggered in play, so check both in-game before relying on them. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
