Stuck? Why it might not be working
- Not enough source nearbyIn All the Mods 10 8.2, Ars Nouveau 5.13.1, Not enough source nearby means the loaded source jars in Manhattan range 10 add up to less than the recipe's source cost. The apparatus does not draw from one jar. One full jar is 10,000, which covers every enchantment the mod ships, and it does not cover the pack's alloy block at 90,000.Written for other versions than FTB StoneBlock 4 1.23.0 ships. What is Ars Nouveau?
1 part
Ars Nouveau is a magic mod inspired by Ars Magicka. You craft your own spells, make magical artifacts, perform rituals, power magical machines, and automate your base with adorable magical servants. This pack includes version 5.13.3.[1][2]
To get started, craft the Worn Notebook using a book and 1 Lapis Lazuli. The mod's documentation is provided in-game by Patchouli, so that notebook is your main manual.[1]
Where it sits in the quest book
The pack's quest book first asks you to use Ars Nouveau in the chapter "Tier 1: Foundation", which sits in the group "Echoes of History" (chapter 4 of 22 in the book). The Ars tasks there come from the Magician. The quest "Meet The Magician" quest says to work with that Echo to unlock the Source Upgrade for your World Engine, and the quests below lead up to it.[3]
- "Magical Trees" quest comes after meeting the Magician and is tagged "Unlocking Ars". It asks you to hold an archwood sapling, such as Cascading Archwood Sapling, Blazing Archwood Sapling, Vexing Archwood Sapling or Flourishing Archwood Sapling (a sapling from Ars Elemental also counts), plus Archwood Planks.[3]
- "Infusing Magical Essence" quest comes next. It asks for the Imbuement Chamber and a Source Gem, and its text tells you to convert Lapis into the gem.[3]
- "Creating Source" quest asks for a Source Jar and one Sourcelink. Its text calls the Agronomic Sourcelink a great starting point.[3]
- "World Engine Source" quest is tagged a Minor World Engine Upgrade and asks for the Dominion Wand and Sourcestone.[3]
- An untitled follow-up quest sends you back to the Magician. After it, "Auto-Build The Source Upgrade" quest asks for Sourcestone, and its text says that submitting the blocks automatically assembles your team's World Engine upgrade.[3]
Some quests in this chapter are not covered here, so check the quest book itself for the rest of the chapter.[3]
How do you get started with Ars Nouveau?
6 parts
Ars Nouveau is a magic mod built around crafting your own spells, performing rituals and making magical helpers. In this pack the quest book walks you into it through the Magician. Meeting the Magician is how you unlock the Source Upgrade for your World Engine, so the first magic items you make double as quest progress. The pack also does not spawn a book in your inventory on login, so make yourself a Tattered Tome (Tattered Tome) to use as your guidebook.[1][3][4][5]
First: get an archwood sapling
Start with "Meet The Magician" quest, then take on "Magical Trees" quest. It asks for an archwood sapling (for example Cascading Archwood Sapling) and some Archwood Planks. The quest suggests digging saplings up with an Unearther, or exploring the Arcane Grove with the compass the Magician gives you. If you go into the Grove, bring at least Diamond-level gear.[3]
Second: Imbuement Chamber and Source Gems
Next is "Infusing Magical Essence" quest: craft the Imbuement Chamber and make a Source Gem. The quest text talks about converting Lapis. The recipe dump also shows a Source Gem made from an amethyst shard.[3][6]
The amethyst route to a Source Gem.
Third: start making Source
The Imbuement Chamber only draws in essence slowly, so "Creating Source" quest has you build a Sourcelink plus a Source Jar placed near it to store what it collects. The quest calls the Agronomic Sourcelink a great starting point.[3]

Fourth: your first spellbook
"Your First Spellbook" quest in the Magic chapter comes right after the trees. The Novice Spell Book casts Tier 1 glyphs and already knows a few basic ones. You learn new glyphs at the Scribe's Table: right click it with your book, search for a glyph, select it, then right click the table with the items it needs.[5]
This recipe starts from the Tattered Tome.
The quest's first glyph is Amplify (Glyph Amplify).[5]
In this pack Amplify costs 20 (general.cost) and its glyph tier is 1 (general.glyph_tier). Touch is the starter glyph (general.starter) and costs 5 (general.cost).[7][8]
Your mana pool starts at a base max of 100 (mana.baseMax), with a base regen of 5 (mana.baseRegen).[9]
Fifth: a Ritual Brazier
The Ritual Brazier quest comes after Infusing Magical Essence and asks for the Ritual Brazier and a ritual tablet, here Summon Wilden. Place the brazier, use the tablet on it, then right click with an empty hand. Most rituals need Source, so keep a jar nearby.[5]

Sixth: Arcane Core and Dominion Wand
The Enchanting Apparatus is the crafting table of Ars. It needs an Arcane Core under it and Arcane Pedestal blocks within 3 blocks. Recipes that need Source also want Source Jars within 3 blocks. This is the a quest in "Magic" quest, which follows World Engine Source.[5]

How does Ars Nouveau work?
8 parts
Ars Nouveau is the mod where you craft your own spells, build magical machines and hand chores to little magical servants. Its documentation lives in an in-game Patchouli book, and you get started by crafting the Worn Notebook from a book and 1 Lapis Lazuli. This section covers the numbers and rules this pack actually uses.[1]
Mana
Every spell runs on your mana pool. Your base maximum is 100 (mana.baseMax) and your base regen is 5 (mana.baseRegen). Glyphs and your book's tier add on top: up to 15 extra max mana per glyph (mana.glyphmax), 0.33 regen per glyph (mana.glyphRegen), 50 max mana for the book's tier (mana.tierMax) and 1 regen for the tier (mana.tierRegen).[9]
Gear and potions add more. The mana boost is 25 per level (mana.manaBoost), the regen enchantment gives 2 per second per level (mana.manaRegenEnchantment), and a potion gives 10 regen per level (mana.potionRegen). Max and regen are recalculated every 5 ticks (mana.updateInterval). All of these are the mod defaults in this pack, so nothing here has been rebalanced.[9][10]

Spell building rules
Each glyph has its own config file with a cost, a tier, an enabled switch, a starter flag and a per-spell limit. Among the configs shown here, Touch, Self and Projectile are the glyphs flagged as starters. Touch costs 5, Self costs 10 and Projectile costs 10. A Projectile lives for at most 60 seconds (general.max_lifespan).[8][11][12]
The glyph configs shown here all have a per-spell limit of 2,147,483,647, which means no practical limit. Linger is the exception: it costs 500, is tier 3 and may appear once per spell. The pack enforces both the augment cap and the glyph limit when a spell is cast. The infinite spell length option is off, and if it were turned on it would use a limit of 30.[7][9][13]
Here are the cost and tier of the augment-style glyphs whose configs we have, exactly as the pack sets them:[14][15]
- Amplify: cost 20 (general.cost), tier 1 (general.glyph_tier).[7]
- Dampen: cost 0 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[16]
- AOE: cost 35 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[17]
- Pierce: cost 40 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[18]
- Extract: cost 30 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[19]
- Fortune: cost 80 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[20]
- Randomize: cost 0 (general.cost), tier 1 (general.glyph_tier).[21]
- Sensitive: cost 10 (general.cost), tier 1 (general.glyph_tier).[22]
- Extend Time: cost 10 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier). Duration Down: cost 15 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[23][24]
- Glyph Accelerate: cost 10 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier). Decelerate: cost 5 (general.cost), tier 2 (general.glyph_tier).[14][15]
- Split: cost 20 (general.cost), tier 3 (general.glyph_tier).[25]
Some effects also cap how often one augment can be stacked, through the augment_limits setting in their configs. Pantomime allows Dampen once. Linger, Wololo and Rune each allow Sensitive once.[13][26][27][28]
What augments do
The mod's own text spells out how augments change a glyph. A few examples:[29]
- On Break: Amplify raises the harvest level and Dampen lowers it. AOE widens the radius and Pierce adds depth. Extract applies silk touch, Fortune applies fortune, Randomize adds a chance to skip a block, and Sensitive breaks with shears instead of a pickaxe.[29]
- On Burst: AOE increases the target radius, Dampen targets an empty sphere, and Sensitive targets blocks instead of entities.[29]
- On Delay: Randomize shifts the duration up or down by 25% of the base duration.[29]
Glyphs and crafting stations
Glyphs have their own recipe type, separate from normal crafting. Here are two examples from the pack.[6]
Glyph recipes use the ars_nouveau:glyph recipe type.
The Alteration Table is built from a Scribe's Table and Magebloom Fiber. On the Scribe's Table, Abjuration Essence can be used to remove Prestidigitation from items.[6][29]

Codex, lectern and ranges
A glyph stored in a codex costs 10 each (item.codexCost). A storage lectern can be linked from up to 30 (blocks.lecternLinkRange), and the decor blossom has a maximum range of 30 (blocks.decorBlossomRange). Each bookwyrm supports 8 inventories on a lectern (general.bookwyrmLimit). Warp portals are enabled (warp_portals.enableWarpPortals).[4][9]
Placing an Arcane Core near a villager can convert a shady villager, and that is switched on here (mana.shadyVillagerEnabled).[10]

Potion melder
The potion melder works in cycles. Each cycle it takes 200 potion from each input jar (block.melderInputCost), where 100 equals 1 potion. It outputs 100 potion (block.melderOutput) and uses 300 source (block.melderSourceCost). The enchanted flask can grant a potion level of at most 255 (block.enchantedFlaskCap).[4]
Magical helpers
The creature helpers run on timers set in the common config. A drygmy needs 20 channels before it produces loot (drygmy_production.drygmyMaxProgress), consumes 1,000 per generation (drygmy_production.drygmyManaCost), and makes 1 base item per cycle (drygmy_production.drygmyBaseItems). Nearby entities add bonus items, capped at 5 (drygmy_production.drygmyQuantityCap), and each unique mob adds 2 more (drygmy_production.drygmyUniqueBonus).[4]
Whirlisprigs consume 250 per generation (general.sylphManaCost) and must accumulate 250 progress before creating resources (general.whirlisprigProgress). The Alakarkinos consumes 1,000 per generation (alakarkinos.alakarkinosSourceCost). All of these are mod defaults.[4]
Automation and pack-specific recipes
The in-game guide has a Spirit Jars entry, part of the Occultism integration. Spirits in Containment Jars keep their normal behaviour and do not decay. A jar picks up matching items in a 7x7 area around it, and you can also push items in with a hopper, starbuncles or pipes, or right-click them in. Janitor Spirits pick up nearby items and push them into an adjacent inventory.[30][31]
The pack adds its own Immersive Engineering cloche recipe for Bastion Fruit that uses Primogel Soil from Just Dire Things. It also changes the Create cutting recipe for the Stripped Flourishing Archwood Log, so the log gives 6 Archwood Planks.[6]
Cloche (immersiveengineering)

Added by the pack for the cloche.
Cutting (create)

Unverified The cost and tier of many individual glyphs, for example Burst and Bubble, are set in their own files such as config/ars_nouveau/glyph_burst.toml and glyph_bubble.toml. The sources here do not show those files, so their values are unverified.
How do you progress through Ars Nouveau?
3 parts
In this pack, Ars Nouveau has no progression ladder of its own. The quest book threads it into the World Engine storyline, where the Magician is the Echo you work with for Source. Meeting him unlocks the Source Upgrade for your World Engine.[3]
Tier 1: Foundation is chapter 4 of 22, in the group "Echoes of History". The magic-casting quests live in the "Magic" chapter (chapter 15 of 22, group "Forgotten Knowledge"). The endgame creative items sit in "Tier 6: Ascension" (chapter 9 of 22).[3][5][32]
Tier 1: the Magician's line
- Meet The Magician "Meet The Magician" quest: find the Echo in the lobby, after Unlocking the Archives "Unlocking the Archives" quest. This unlocks the Source Upgrade for your World Engine.[3]
- Magical Trees "Magical Trees" quest: the quest asks for one archwood sapling (Cascading Archwood Sapling, Blazing Archwood Sapling, Vexing Archwood Sapling, Flourishing Archwood Sapling, or the one from Ars Elemental) plus Archwood Planks. It suggests an Expert or Master Archaeologist in an Unearther, or exploring the Arcane Grove. Bring at least Diamond-level gear if you plan to fight there.[3]
- Infusing Magical Essence "Infusing Magical Essence" quest: the quest asks for the Imbuement Chamber and a Source Gem, made by converting Lapis.[3]
- Creating Source "Creating Source" quest: the quest asks for a Source Jar and one sourcelink. It calls the Agronomic Sourcelink a great starting point, but the volcanic, alchemical, vitalic and mycelial links also count.[3]
- World Engine Source "World Engine Source" quest: a Minor World Engine Upgrade. The quest asks for the Dominion Wand and Sourcestone, and describes making a Source Relay to direct Source into the engine.[3]
- Auto-Build The Source Upgrade "Auto-Build The Source Upgrade" quest: submitting the required sourcestone and claiming the rewards automatically assembles your team's World Engine upgrade. Any blocks placed where an upgrade should go will be voided.[3]
The quest text says each tier needs at least 2 upgrades completed with the Echoes, and that Major Upgrades are required while Minor Upgrades are optional. Once you've claimed your rewards, Needing More Guidance "Needing More Guidance" quest sends you back to the Echo of Guidance and unlocks the Tier 2 chapter.[3]
The Imbuement Chamber turns Lapis into a Source Gem. A separate imbuement recipe does the same from an amethyst shard.

The Magic chapter: spells, rituals and the Apparatus
Your First Spellbook "Your First Spellbook" quest unlocks after Magical Trees. The quest says the Novice Spell Book casts Tier 1 spells and that glyphs are tiered, so higher-tier spells need a book upgrade. It also points you to the Scribe's Table and the Glyph Amplify glyph as your first one to learn. The recipes below show how they are made in this pack.[5]
An alternate Novice Spell Book recipe built around the Tattered Tome.
Glyphs are made at the Scribe's Table, not in a crafting grid.
Ritual Brazier a quest in "Magic" follows Infusing Magical Essence. The quest asks for the Ritual Brazier and the Summon Wilden tablet, and says most rituals need Source, so keep a jar nearby. The pack changed the Summon Wilden tablet recipe, so check this one rather than relying on the mod's default.[5][6]

Arcane Core a quest in "Magic" comes after World Engine Source. It introduces the Enchanting Apparatus, which the quest text calls basically the crafting table of Ars. It uses nearby items placed on Arcane Pedestal blocks within 3 blocks, and the number of pedestals depends on the recipe. Recipes that need Source also want Source Jars within 3 blocks.[5]

Three more quests hang off Arcane Core. Each one is an optional branch you can take in any order:[5]
- Amethyst Golem Charm a quest in "Magic": the quest asks for one of the summoning charms, such as the Starbuncle Charm or Wixie Charm. It says the creatures can be controlled with the Dominion Wand, and the Tattered Tome guidebook explains what each one does.[5]
- Ars Armor "Ars Armor" quest: the quest asks for the Magebloom Seed, found in Arcane Grove chests, plus the Alteration Table and pieces of arcanist, sorcerer and battlemage gear. It says the Alteration Table installs Threads on armor, and that the Enchantment Apparatus can raise the tier of mage gear for more thread slots.[5]
- Source Relay: Collector a quest in "Magic": the quest asks for one of the Splitter, Depositor, Warper or Collector relays. It notes that Warper distances beyond 30 blocks have a chance to lose some Source.[5]
Arcanist armor pieces are made at the Enchanting Apparatus.

Endgame: Tier 6 Ascension
Ars Nouveau shows up twice near the end of the quest book. Creative Source Jar "Creative Source Jar" quest is one of the Ascension Tier 1 tasks. It asks for essences such as Abjuration Essence, Fire Essence and Water Essence, plus a Source Gem Block. Ascension Tier 2 "Ascension Tier 2 - Transcendent" quest then asks for the finished Creative Source Jar.[32]
Creative Spellbook "Creative Spellbook" quest asks for the Archmage Spell Book and unlocks after Creative Energy Cell and Creative Controller. It leads into Ascension Tier 3 "Ascension Tier 3 - Omniscient" quest, whose quest text mentions access to creative spells from Ars.[32]

How does Ars Nouveau work with other mods?
5 parts
Ars Nouveau turns up in a lot of other mods' recipes in this pack. Most links come from its elemental essences and Source items being used elsewhere, and the pack also adds a few recipes of its own that mix Ars items with other mods. Here is what the recipes and quests confirm.[6]
Ars Elemental
Ars Elemental is the biggest partner. The recipe dump counts 48 armor upgrade recipes that take Ars Nouveau items and make Ars Elemental armor, plus 27 glyph recipes that make Ars Elemental glyphs.[6]

World Engine and the quest book
The pack adds a set of World Engine recipes that take Ars Nouveau items together with items from other mods. They cover the Enchanting Apparatus, the Basic Spell Turret, the Focus of Block Shaping, and Ars glyphs. Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks and Iron's Gems 'n Jewelry stations are also in the set, alongside Archwood blocks.[6]

In the quest book, the Ars Nouveau quests sit in the "Tier 1: Foundation" chapter of the "Echoes of History" group, and they follow the Magician. "Meet The Magician" quest asks you to meet the Magician. "Magical Trees" quest then asks for an Archwood sapling and Archwood Planks, "Infusing Magical Essence" quest asks for an Imbuement Chamber and a Source Gem, and "Creating Source" quest asks for a Source Jar and a Sourcelink. "World Engine Source" quest is a Minor World Engine Upgrade that asks for a Dominion Wand and Sourcestone.[3]
With a Dominion Wand you direct Source between jars. Installing the Source World Engine Upgrade lets you direct Source into the engine to craft more magical items.[3]
Which FTB StoneBlock 4 quests use Ars Nouveau?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 guide
Ars Nouveau shows up in several quest chapters in this pack. None of these quests has a title, so you'll find them by the items they ask for. The main progression starts in the World Engine tier 1 chapter and then continues into the General Magic chapter.[35][36]
The main path: World Engine tier 1
- "Magical Trees" quest is the first Ars Nouveau quest. It asks for one of the archwood saplings (Cascading, Blazing, Vexing or Flourishing, or a yellow archwood sapling from Ars Elemental) plus Archwood Planks. It unlocks after quests that aren't Ars Nouveau quests.[36]
- "Infusing Magical Essence" quest asks for an Imbuement Chamber and a Source Gem. It comes after the archwood quest and one other quest that isn't an Ars Nouveau quest.[36]
- "Creating Source" quest wants a Source Jar and any one sourcelink: Agronomic, Volcanic, Alchemical, Vitalic or Mycelial.[36]
- "World Engine Source" quest asks for the Dominion Wand and Sourcestone.[36]
There's also "Auto-Build The Source Upgrade" quest, a second Sourcestone quest in the same chapter. It follows a quest that isn't an Ars Nouveau quest.[36]
General Magic
This chapter branches off the quests above. Some of its quests unlock early. "Your First Spellbook" quest follows the archwood quest and asks for the Novice Spell Book, the Scribe's Table and the Amplify glyph (Glyph Amplify). a quest in "Magic" follows the imbuement chamber quest and asks for the Ritual Brazier and the Summon Wilden ritual.[35][36]
The bigger step is a quest in "Magic", which comes after the Dominion Wand quest. It asks for the Enchanting Apparatus, the Arcane Core and the Arcane Pedestal. Three quests then open up after it:[35][36]
- a quest in "Magic": any one familiar charm (Amethyst Golem, Whirlisprig, Drygmy, Bookwyrm, Wixie or Starbuncle) plus the Orange Magebloom Bed.[35]
- "Ars Armor" quest: a Magebloom Seed, the Alteration Table, and one piece each from the Arcanist, Sorceror and Battlemage armor sets.[35]
- a quest in "Magic": any one Source Relay, whether Splitter, Depositor, Warper or Collector.[35]
Other chapters
- Gearing up: "Ars Tools" quest asks for any one of the Novice, Mage's or Archmage spell books, plus any one casting tool. The options are the Enchanter's Wand, Enchanter's Bow, Enchanter's Sword, Enchanter's Shield, Enchanter's Crossbow, Enchanter's Gauntlet and Enchanter's Fishing Rod. No prerequisite is listed for it.[37]
- Exploration and combat: "Warp Scrolls" quest wants a Warp Scroll and a Stabilized Warp Scroll. No prerequisite is listed for it.[38]
- Bounty board: "Kill The Wilden Chimera" quest asks for the Wilden Tribute. It follows two quests that aren't Ars Nouveau quests.[39]
Late-game and creative quests
In the creative chapter, "Creative Source Jar" quest asks for the Ars Nouveau essences (Abjuration, Conjuration, Air, Earth, Fire, Manipulation and Water), a Source Gem Block, and an Anima Essence from another mod. "Creative Spellbook" quest asks for the Archmage Spell Book along with items from two other mods.[40]
"Ascension Tier 2 - Transcendent" quest in the creative chapter and a quest in "Backstage" in the thebackrooms chapter both list the Creative Source Jar among a set of creative items from several mods. The creative chapter version also depends on the essences quest.[40][41]
Which Ars Nouveau config options matter?
3 parts
Ars Nouveau is configured in this pack through one startup file plus one small TOML file per glyph. Each glyph file has the same core options: general.cost, general.enabled, general.glyph_tier, general.per_spell_limit and general.starter.[17]
Here is the honest part: in every file shown below, the numeric values are exactly the mod defaults. As far as these sources show, the pack has not changed any of them, so this is the mod's default balance.[10][12][13][42][43][44][45][46][47]
Startup file: mana and villagers
- mana.potionRegen is 10 in the pack (the mod default is also 10). It is the regen bonus per potion level.[10]
- mana.shadyVillagerEnabled is true. This controls whether shady villagers can be converted by placing an Arcane Core near a villager, and it does not remove or disable existing villagers.[10]
Glyph values worth knowing
- Burst: general.cost is 500, general.glyph_tier is 3 and general.per_spell_limit is 1. Its general.invalid_combos list names the Wall and Linger glyphs, so it cannot share a spell with them.[42]
- Linger: general.cost is 500, general.glyph_tier is 3 and general.per_spell_limit is 1.[13]
- Fell: general.cost is 150, general.base_harvest is 50 blocks, and general.aoe_bonus adds 50 more max blocks per AOE.[45]
- Blink: general.cost is 50, general.glyph_tier is 3, and the base teleport distance (general.distance) is 8.[43]
- Heal: general.cost is 50 and general.base_heal is 3.[44]
- Summon Vex: general.duration is 15 seconds, general.cost is 150 and general.glyph_tier is 3.[46]
- Summon Decoy: general.duration is 30 seconds, general.cost is 200 and general.glyph_tier is 3.[47]
- Projectile: general.max_lifespan is 60 seconds, and general.cost is 10.[12]
Augment limits in the pack's files
Some glyph files cap how often an augment can be stacked on them through their augment limits. Break (general.augment_limits) allows Fortune up to 4 times and Sensitive once. Pantomime (general.augment_limits) allows Dampen once. Firework (general.augment_limits) allows Amplify twice. Infuse (general.augment_limits) allows both AOE and Extend Time once each.[26][48][49][50]
Unverified The general mod settings live in config/ars_nouveau-server.toml, config/ars_nouveau-common.toml and config/ars_nouveau-client.toml, and many other glyphs have their own files under config/ars_nouveau/ (for example Explosion, Lightning and Delay). The sources here do not show their contents, so check those files for their values.
What changed in Ars Nouveau between versions?
4 parts
FTB StoneBlock 4 1.23.0 ships Ars Nouveau 5.13.3, and the mod was already in the pack by 1.0.0 or earlier. Below are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first, covering 5.10.6 up to the version you are playing. These are changes to the mod itself, not pack-specific edits.[2][51]
Unverified The sources here include no pack changelog entries for Ars Nouveau, so any changes the pack made to this mod across its releases are not shown in this section.
Newest releases
- 5.13.3 (the version in this pack): adds blocks to the Sable weight and volume tags, adds an extra safeguard for mobs pathfinding near Sable sublevels, and fixes glyph recipe documentation items not spinning smoothly.[2][52]
- 5.13.1: projectiles now preserve momentum when interacting with spell prisms. It also fixes a crash when glyph recipes have more than 10 items, and fixes abjuration essence not clearing prestidigitation.[53]
- 5.13.0: adds a preview button to the spell particles screen, so you can see your selected effects and sounds. It also adds Drygmy and Starbuncle painting blocks, improves performance with the automated enchanting apparatus, and fixes bubbles targeting Create contraptions.[54]
5.12.1
- Improves repository and lectern caching performance, fixes a dupe involving interact and buckets, and fixes tomes having their discount applied multiple times.[55]
Earlier releases
- 5.11.7: Amethyst Golems get a smaller hitbox and no longer collide or get pushed, similar to starbuncles, which should fix them getting stuck on corners. Starbuncles and golems also no longer cause out of memory crashes when pathing from the real world to blocks on Sable levels.[56]
- 5.11.6: fixes a client memory leak with portals, and adds Starbuncles and Golems to the Sable destroy_when_leaving_plot and retain_in_sub_level tags. In creative mode, interacting with a source jar adds source, or removes it if you crouch.[57]
- 5.11.4: fixes a memory leak with the Planarium, and its updates are now batched with a configurable value to stop frequently updated planariums causing lag. It also fixes warp portals loading the origin dimension instead of the destination.[58]
- 5.11.3: weather and time rituals can now operate in other dimensions. A new config lets you disable the conversion of Shady Villagers (it does not remove existing ones). Several spell arrow bugs with pierce were fixed too, including casting spells twice.[59]
- 5.11.2: adds the Archwood Boat and Bundle interactions inside the Bookwyrm Lectern UI. Source jars can now be linked to Turrets to direct source consumption.[60]
- 5.11.1: adds an Info icon to the spell crafting UI, covering importing and exporting spells and keybinds for moving glyphs between slots. It also adds a Clear button to the particle effects UI to reset the timeline to its defaults.[61]
