Applied Energistics 2 in Project Infinity 0.1
Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships version 15.4.10 · First seen in 0.0.45.4
Applied Energistics 2 is a mod in Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2, where it is version 15.4.10. AE2: A popular automation and storage mod (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)
Stuck? Why it might not be working
- AE2 autocrafting: the job sits on Scheduled and never craftsScheduled means patterns the CPU has queued but not yet pushed to a machine; Crafting means outputs already pushed and still awaited. A job frozen on Scheduled is a push that keeps failing, or an output that never came back, and AE2 shows no message for either. It retries forever, so waiting will not fix it unless the cause was a power or channel dip that has since come back.Written for other versions than Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships. What is Applied Energistics 2?
2 parts
Applied Energistics 2 (AE2) is a storage and automation mod. It replaces rooms full of chests with a compact ME network, where items are stored digitally across connected devices. It also handles autocrafting, so you can ask your system to craft a whole chain of ingredients for you or keep items in stock. The pack includes version 15.4.10.[1][2][3]
Two other features set it apart. Channels limit how many devices can connect through one cable, so you need to plan your builds. Spatial storage lets you store a whole region of the world inside a cell and release it later.[1]
Where it sits in the quest book
The pack has a chapter called "Applied Energistics 2" in the "Storage and Power" group. It is chapter 14 of 44 in the book and has 72 quests. It opens with "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest, which asks for a Charger and a Meteorite Compass.[4]
The chapter then splits into a few branches:[4]
- "Inscriber Preses" quest comes right after the welcome quest and leads to "Processors" quest. That quest asks for the Inscriber and the three processor types.[4]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" also follows the welcome quest. It leads to "Growth Accelerator" quest and to the cable line, starting with a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and going on to covered, then smart cables.[4]
- After Processors you reach "ME Terminal" quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", "Energy Acceptor" quest, "Interacting with the world" quest and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[4]
- "ME Drive" quest follows the terminal and opens the storage component line, starting with a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and going up to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[4]
- The terminal also leads to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", then a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", then "Singularity" quest, and finally "Quantum Ring Multiblock" quest.[4]
A few quests ask for items from add-ons, such as a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[4]
Crazy AE2 Addon chapter
AE2 items also appear in the "Crazy AE2 Addon" chapter. It sits in the "Production" group, is chapter 30 of 44 and has 39 quests. It starts with "Getting Started with Crazy AE2" quest. Some of its multiblock quests ask for AE2 blocks like Vibrant Quartz Glass, Sky Stone Tank and Quartz Glass. Most of the rest of that chapter is in the quest book itself.[5]
How do you get started with Applied Energistics 2?
5 parts
Here is the order to tackle Applied Energistics 2 in this pack, and why. Its quest chapter sits in the Storage and Power group (chapter 14 of 44 in the book) and has 72 quests. It opens with "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest, which asks for a Charger and a Meteorite Compass.[4]
Charger and compass
Make the Charger first. It is part of the opening quest, and it is also the machine that produces Charged Certus Quartz Crystal. The compass points to the nearest Mysterious Cube, so it saves you hunting for a meteorite by eye.[4][6][7]

Raid a meteorite
Mine into the middle of the meteorite. You will find certus quartz clusters, buds, budding certus blocks and the Mysterious Cube. Take the clusters and any certus quartz blocks. Breaking the Mysterious Cube gives you all 4 inscriber presses.[6]
Presses and processors
The four presses are what "Inscriber Preses" quest asks for. Next, "Processors" quest wants an Inscriber plus a Logic Processor, a Calculation Processor and an Engineering Processor. Those three processors are the core of everything else you build, so make a few of each.[4][6]
The inscriber is a sided machine, like a furnace. Items inserted from the top or bottom go into the top or bottom slots, and items from the side or back go into the center slot. Results come out of the side or back.[6]

Fluix and certus growth
After the welcome quest, the book moves on to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and then "Growth Accelerator" quest. Fluix is made by throwing items into water in the world, which is where your charged certus starts to matter. Here is the pack's in-world recipe.[4][6][8]
Certus buds grow very slowly on their own. A Growth Accelerator placed next to a budding block speeds that up a lot, and the guide says to build a few as your first priority. They need power. If you can't afford an Energy Acceptor or a Vibration Chamber yet, a Wooden Crank on the end of the accelerator works.[6]
The pack also adds extra certus sources: a sieve recipe that gives crystals, and an energizing recipe that turns plain crystals into charged ones.[8]

Your first ME system
Once you have processors, the quest book branches. "ME Terminal" quest comes first, and "ME Drive" quest and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" follow it. a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" comes after the drive.[4]
Storage cells have to sit in an ME Drive or ME Chest to work. For a simple searchable system, the guide suggests a few cables (glass, covered or smart, but not dense) and a few storage cells, with 4k cells a good mix of capacity and types. A 4k cell holds 4,096 bytes and up to 63 types.[6][7][9]
How does Applied Energistics 2 work?
8 parts
AE2 is built around one idea: your whole base network behaves like one big machine. Devices pull energy from a shared network pool, store items in network storage, and talk to each other through cables. Here is how those pieces work, as the in-game guide describes them.[10][11]
Networks and channels
A network is a group of devices linked by blocks that can pass channels, like cables or full-block machines. Where a device sits does not matter. All that matters is which network it is connected to. A Network Tool shows every component on a network, so use it if something seems missing or something extra shows up.[11][12]
Almost every device needs a channel. The notable exception is the Level Emitter. Most machines, full-block devices and standard cables pass up to 8 channels, while dense cables pass up to 32. The only other things that carry 32 are the ME P2P Tunnel and the Quantum Network Bridge.[13][14]
Without an ME Controller, a network is ad-hoc and supports up to 8 channel-using devices. Go past that and they shut down, so remove devices or add a controller. With a controller, channels route in three steps: the shortest path to the nearest normal cable, then to the nearest dense cable, then to the controller. If that shortest path is full, some devices simply won't get a channel.[13][15]
Some blocks connect in ways you might not expect. A Quantum Network Bridge acts like a wireless dense cable, so both ends are one network. A Quartz Fiber shares energy without connecting networks. Full-block devices like the pattern provider pass the connection through, but you can right-click the provider to make it directional so it blocks one side. Most cable subpart devices, like buses, don't give directional connections. Shift-right-clicking a subpart with a Certus Quartz Wrench or Network Tool breaks off just that part.[11][16]
Energy
Networks have a shared energy pool. Devices pull from it, and Vibration Chambers, Energy Acceptors and controllers add to it. There are no transfer rate limits inside the network, so you are only limited by how much you can store. AE2 does not use Forge Energy internally. It converts it one-way into AE at 2 FE = 1 AE. Channels also cost 1/128 AE/t per node they traverse.[10][13]
A network can't take in or use more energy in one tick than it can store. A common problem is a tiny network that tries to import a whole inventory of cobblestone at once, runs out of energy and reboots. Energy cells fix that. Every cable, machine or part gives a built-in buffer of 25 AE, and a controller holds 8,000 AE. An Energy Cell holds 200k AE, which is enough for most setups. A Dense Energy Cell holds 1.6M AE, for running off stored power or for big spatial storage setups.[10]
Storage, import and export
Network storage is usually storage cells in drives, or whatever inventory a storage bus is pointing at. Import buses push things into it, export buses pull things out, and interfaces do both. Terminals push and pull when you insert or take items. A storage bus doesn't push or pull from the network, it makes the connected inventory part of network storage.[17]
Interfaces and pattern providers also import. An interface imports from its internal inventory when a slot isn't set to stock anything, or holds more than the stocked amount. A pattern provider imports from its return slot inventory.[17]
Priority decides where items go. You set it with the wrench button in some GUIs. Incoming items go to the highest priority storage first, and on a tie they prefer a storage that already holds the item. Items leaving come from the lowest priority storage first. High priority storage fills up while low priority storage empties.[17]
Bytes and types
Storage cells are limited by both bytes and types. Each item uses one bit, so 8 items equal 1 byte, and for fluid cells that is 8 buckets per byte. Each type also costs bytes upfront, which varies with cell size. Cells hold 63 types, and a drive full of cells gives 630.[9]
The 1k cell holds 1,024 bytes (8 bytes per type) and the 256k cell holds 262,144 bytes (2048 bytes per type). A cell with 1 type in use holds about twice as much as one using all 63 types. Higher tiers don't add types, so every size stays useful. Filter out unique damaged or enchanted gear before it hits your system, because each variant counts as its own type.[9][18]
Autocrafting
Autocrafting has three parts: something sending the request, a crafting CPU, and a pattern provider. A request comes from you in a terminal, or from an export bus or interface with a Crafting Card. The system works out the steps and stores them in the chosen CPU. The provider pushes ingredients to adjacent inventories. The result must come back as an item entering the system, so just piping it into a chest with a storage bus doesn't count.[19]
Crafting, smithing and stonecutting patterns are automated by a pattern provider next to a molecular assembler, and can share one setup. Processing patterns are the general form, used for almost any modded machine or furnace. The system only cares that the promised result eventually arrives. A pattern can also ask for several items at once, so it can push 8 cobblestone per operation instead of 1.[19]
The autocrafting algorithm can't handle recursive recipes, like duplicating redstone dust. The workaround is a provider with a crafting card that emits a redstone signal. That tells the system "if you emit redstone, this item will show up", which suits farms with no input ingredients.[19][20]
Crafting CPUs are multiblocks that must be rectangular prisms with at least 1 crafting storage. They hold intermediate ingredients during multi-step jobs and affect how big jobs can be and, to some degree, how fast they finish.[19]
Subnetworks
A subnetwork is just a separate network that supports your main one. The two main reasons to build one are to limit which devices can reach which storage, and to save channels. For example, an import bus and storage bus can act like an item or fluid pipe, and an interface with a formation plane places or drops whatever you insert into the world. A pattern provider outputting to an interface, with storage busses on several machines, uses 1 channel instead of one provider per machine. Subnets are typically small enough not to need a controller.[21]
The Energy P2P Tunnel is handy here, because it moves power between networks without connecting them.[13][21]
Stonecutting
- Eu P2p Tunnel
Recipe id: crazyae2addons:mae2_eu_p2p_tunnel_to_ae2_fe_p2p_tunnel

Spatial IO
Spatial IO swaps a defined volume of your world with an identically sized volume in the spatial storage dimension. You place a spatial storage cell in the Spatial IO Port and give it a redstone pulse. The port shows the stored and required energy, the pylon array's efficiency and the size of the volume. The energy cost is used instantly and can be huge, so bring plenty of energy cells.[22]
- The volume is the bounding box of the outside of the pylons, shrunk by 1 block on every side. The minimum is 3x3x3, which defines a 1x1x1 volume.[22]
- All pylons must be on the outer bounding box, on the same network, and at least 2 blocks long.[22]
- You can only have one spatial IO setup per network, so a subnetwork is recommended.[22]
- Once a cell has been used, its XYZ dimensions are permanent. A 2x2x3 volume is not the same as a 3x2x2 one, and if the cell doesn't match the defined volume the port won't run.[22]
Certus quartz in this pack
Certus quartz buds grow on budding certus blocks, which come from meteorites. A bud broken early drops one Certus Quartz Dust, and a fully grown cluster drops four Certus Quartz Crystals (Fortune increases that). The four tiers are Flawless, Flawed, Chipped and Damaged. Each growth stage can degrade a budding block by a tier, and Flawless never degrades. You can repair them by throwing them in water with a Charged Certus Quartz Crystal. Growth Accelerators placed next to a budding block speed it up massively, and a Wooden Crank can power one if you lack a Vibration Chamber or Energy Acceptor.[23][24][25]
Thrown in water, this turns dust into crystals using a charged crystal.

The pack's own scripts also add Advanced AE reaction chamber recipes for processors. One turns certus quartz blocks into Calculation Processor items, 36 per craft, using 200,000 energy and a water input.[26]
How do you progress through Applied Energistics 2?
6 parts
AE2 progression in this pack follows the quest book chapter "Applied Energistics 2" (group "Storage and Power", chapter 14 of 44, 72 quests). It opens with "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest, which asks for a Charger and a Meteorite Compass. Everything below branches out from there.[4]
Tier 1: Certus, charging and presses
The pack adds its own sieve recipes for certus: sand gives Certus Quartz Crystal and Ex Deorum dust gives Certus Quartz Dust. The Charger is how you get started from there.[8]

The Charger turns a crystal into a Charged Certus Quartz Crystal and a plain compass into the Meteorite Compass. The pack also adds a Powah energizing recipe that turns 2 crystals into 2 charged crystals.[8]
Next comes "Inscriber Preses" quest, which asks for all four presses: calculation, engineering, logic and silicon. The pack lets you make the calculation and engineering presses from Mystical Agriculture certus essence, and it changed the calculation press recipe itself.[4][8]

Presses show up in other chapters too. The Shop chapter has its own "Inscriber Presses" quest quest, with 16 Apotheotic Coin, a Meteorite Compass and 16 Sky Steel Ingot as tasks. The Useful mods and Items chapter has a quest asking for the compass and all four presses.[27][28]
Tier 2: Fluix and processors
Right after the welcome quest you get a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". It is made by dropping the ingredients into water. The pack also has a Mystical Agriculture fluix essence recipe that gives 6 crystals.[4][8]
Fluix opens two branches. One leads to the Growth Accelerator. The other is the cable ladder, one quest per step:[4]
- Fluix ME Glass Cable[4]
- Fluix ME Covered Cable[4]
- Fluix ME Smart Cable (and Fluix ME Dense Covered Cable, which leads on to Fluix ME Dense Smart Cable)[4]

"Processors" quest asks for the Inscriber plus the logic, calculation and engineering processors. The pack gives you several routes here. The standard inscriber recipe for the calculation processor is below, but the pack also adds Advanced AE reaction chamber recipes for the calculation and engineering processors. It changed the NuclearCraft assembler recipe for the calculation processor and the Molecular Manipulator recipe for the engineering processor. It also adds an Ender IO smelting recipe that turns certus dust into Silicon.[4][8]

Tier 3: Your first network
Processors unlock the core of the network. Four quests hang off them directly: Crafting Unit, ME Terminal, Energy Acceptor and Network Tool. A fifth, "Interacting with the world", asks for the Formation Core and Annihilation Core. From there:[4]
- ME Terminal: leads to the ME Drive, the ME Controller, the other terminals (crafting, pattern encoding and pattern access) and the wireless access point quest, which also asks for the booster and a wireless terminal.[4]
- Interacting with the world: leads to the formation and annihilation planes, plus the ME Import Bus, ME Export Bus and ME Storage Bus.[4]
- Crafting Unit: leads to the Crafting Co-Processing Unit, the ME Level Emitter and the pattern provider quest. After pattern providers you reach the Molecular Assembler and the Blank Pattern quest.[4]
- Energy Acceptor: leads to the Energy Cell, then the Dense Energy Cell.[4]
- Upgrade cards: quests for the Crafting Card, Redstone Card, Acceleration Card, Fuzzy Card, Inverter Card and Capacity Card follow the buses and interfaces.[4]
Channels have their own quests. "Understanding channels" quest sits after the Fluix glass cable. The chapter also has checkmark quests called Enable Channels, Disable Channels and Enable 2x, 3x and 4x Channels. What they say is in the quest book.[4]
Tier 4: Storage cells
The ME Drive quest leads to the cell components, one quest per size: 1k ME Storage Component, 4k, 16k, 64k and 256k. After the 1k component you also get quests for the ME Item Cell Housing and the ME Fluid Cell Housing, and both lead on to an ME Infinity Cell quest (the item comes from Extended AE).[4]
Once you have item and fluid storage cells, the Cell Workbench quest comes next. It then opens the inverter, Overflow Destruction Card and Equal Distribution Card quests.[4]

Tier 5: Range, singularities and quantum links
After the wireless access point, the book offers two paths. One is the Infinity Range Booster, then the Dimension Card, both from the AE Infinity Booster mod. The other is the Matter Condenser with a Matter Ball, which leads to the "Singularity" quest (Singularity and Ender Dust). That in turn leads to the Quantum Ring Multiblock quest, which asks for 16 ME Quantum Ring, 2 ME Quantum Link Chamber and 2 Quantum Entangled Singularity.[4]

Beyond the AE2 chapter
The Crazy AE2 Addon chapter (group "Production", chapter 30 of 44, 39 quests) is where the advanced content lives. It includes research, Super Singularity and the Entropy Cradle. The pack's research recipe for the Infinity 9 block data drive has a duration of 41,472,000 and uses 500 energy per tick.[5][29]
The EndGame chapter (group "Storyline", chapter 7 of 44) finishes the line with a quest in "EndGame", described as "The Culmination of all of your efforts. Be Proud!". It lists many prerequisites, including 4 128³ Spatial Storage Cell and the Creative Energy Cell quest. That quest comes after "The Beginning of the End".[30]

Added by the pack and crafted in an Extended Crafting table.
Last note: the opening chapter, The Beginning, has 58 quests, and 37 of them are not covered here. Check the quest book for those.[31]
How does Applied Energistics 2 work with other mods?
5 parts
AE2 is the backbone for a lot of other mods in this pack. Plenty of addon recipes take AE2 parts such as processors, storage components, cables, cards and pattern providers, and some of them are changed by the pack or added by its scripts. Here is where the connections show up.[8]
Bigger and stranger storage cells
The MEGA line builds directly on AE2 storage. The 1M MEGA Storage Component is made from a 256k ME Storage Component, and the 16M MEGA Storage Component then builds on the 4M component.[8]

The mana, chemical and souls cells all take AE2's 16k ME Storage Component plus a housing from their own mod. You get the 16k ME Mana Storage Cell, the 16k ME Chemical Storage Cell and the 16k ME Souls Storage Cell this way.[8]
Energy storage has its own track too. The 16k ME Energy Storage Component builds on the 4k energy core and uses Vibrant Quartz Glass. The Induction Card is made from an AE2 Basic Card plus a Flux Accessor.[8]
The OMNI cells use AE2 pieces as well. The Complex OMNI Storage Cell Housing uses Quartz Glass, and the 16k Portable Complex OMNI Storage Cell uses an ME Chest and an Energy Cell. The Complex Link Inscriber Press takes all four AE2 inscriber presses. For the top end, the ECO - LE4 Storage Matrix (Complex Omni) is a compat recipe that needs Singularity, and the LE4 ECO Storage Component is built from 256k ME Storage Component components.[8]
Autocrafting add-ons
Extended pattern and crafting gear leans on AE2 parts heavily. The ME Active Formation Plane combines an ME Export Bus with an ME Formation Plane. The Circuit Slicer uses all four inscriber presses. The Advanced Pattern Encoder needs an Engineering Processor.[8]
The Assembler Matrix Frame recipe is changed by the pack, so check the recipe below rather than the mod's default.[8]

Stonecutting recipes let you swap the Energy P2P Tunnel for the Mana P2P Tunnel or the Chemical P2P Tunnel, and back again. A matching pair of recipes covers the Mekanism-side EU tunnel from the mae2 addon.[8]
Getting AE2 materials from other mods
The pack adds a sieve recipe in Ex Deorum that turns Dust into Certus Quartz Dust. The sources count 14 sieve recipes that produce AE2 items, but only this one is written out here.[8]
Mystical Agriculture also has a recipe that turns its certus quartz essence into 6 Certus Quartz Crystal.[8]
Pack scripts and late-game crossovers
The pack's own KubeJS script for Advanced AE adds recipes that mix in AE2 items. The Advanced Pattern Provider upgrade uses Capacity Card items and an Engineering Processor. The Reaction Chamber is a high-tier Extended Crafting table recipe that includes the Matter Condenser among items from several other mods.[32]
The pack's Blood Magic altar script turns an Acceleration Card into a Blood Magic speed card (needs altar tier 3), and an Capacity Card into a Blood Altar parallel card (needs altar tier 2).[33]
In the quest book
The Applied Energistics 2 chapter is in the "Storage and Power" group, chapter 14 of 44, with 72 quests. Almost all of it covers AE2's own items. The one clear crossover in the quests shown is a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", which asks for an item from the aeinfinitybooster mod and comes right after the a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quest. Some quests in this chapter are not shown in the sources I have, so check the quest book for the rest.[4]
Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use Applied Energistics 2?
3 parts
In the pack's quest book, the Applied Energistics 2 chapter sits in the "Storage and Power" group, as chapter 14 of 44. Its quests ask you to obtain items, and a few are plain checkmarks. Here is the order the chapter lays out.[4]
The main chapter, in order
- "Welcome to Applied Energistics 2 !" quest starts the line and asks for a Charger and a Meteorite Compass.[4]
- Two quests unlock after it. "Inscriber Preses" quest asks for Inscriber Calculation Press, Inscriber Engineering Press, Inscriber Logic Press and Inscriber Silicon Press. a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for a Fluix Crystal.[4]
- "Processors" quest unlocks after the presses and asks for the Inscriber, Logic Processor, Calculation Processor and Engineering Processor.[4]
- After Processors you can take a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", "ME Terminal" quest, "Energy Acceptor" quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and "Interacting with the world" quest. The last one asks for the Formation Core and Annihilation Core.[4]
- The Fluix quests unlock after the Fluix Crystal quest: "Growth Accelerator" quest and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". After the glass cable come a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", "Facades" quest, "Wrenches" quest and the checkmark quest "Understanding channels" quest. After the covered cable come a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", and after the dense covered cable comes a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[4]
- After the cores quest you get "ME Planes" quest (asking for ME Formation Plane and ME Annihilation Plane), a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and "ME interfaces" quest.[4]
- After "ME Terminal" quest come "ME Drive" quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", "Other Terminals" quest and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". The last one asks for the ME Wireless Access Point, Wireless Booster and Wireless Terminal.[4]
- After a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" come a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", "Pattern Providers" quest and "Crafting Storages" quest. After Pattern Providers come "Molecular Assembler" quest and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[4]
- After "Energy Acceptor" quest comes a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", then a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[4]
Storage and the later quests
After "ME Drive" quest come "ME IO Port" quest and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2". The component quests then chain upward through 4k ME Storage Component, 16k ME Storage Component, 64k ME Storage Component and 256k ME Storage Component. The 1k component quest also opens the ME Item Cell Housing and ME Fluid Cell Housing quests.[4]
The item and fluid storage cell quests both lead into "Cell Workbench" quest. After it come the quests for the Inverter Card, Overflow Destruction Card and Equal Distribution Card.[4]

The card quests unlock after the buses and interfaces: "Crafting Cards" quest, "Redstone Cards" quest, "Acceleration Cards" quest, "Inverter Cards" quest, "Capacity Cards" quest and "Fuzzy Cards" quest. a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" unlocks after the wireless access point quest, and two a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" quests unlock after the item cell housing quest.[4]
The chapter also has checkmark quests for channels: "Enable Channels" quest, "Enable 2x Channels" quest, "Enable 3x Channels" quest, "Enable 4x Channels" quest and "Disable Channels" quest. They all unlock after one untitled checkmark quest.[4]

Which Applied Energistics 2 config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods - Gravitas 4.0 guide
If there's one AE2 mechanic you'll want to know about before you start building, it's channels. Devices on the same network can talk to each other, but the channel system limits how many devices you can connect to a single cable. That means your network layout takes some planning.[1]
Unverified We couldn't confirm how this pack sets any of AE2's config options, including channel behaviour, energy settings, spatial storage or crafting CPU settings, or whether the pack changed any of them from the mod defaults. Check your AE2 config in-game or in the pack's config folder before relying on a specific value.
What changed in Applied Energistics 2 between versions?
1 part
Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships Applied Energistics 2 version 15.4.10. The mod has been in the pack since Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.45.4 or earlier, so it is not a recent addition.[3]
Notable change in 15.4.10
The one change in the 15.4.10 changelog is native EMI support for Forge 1.20.1, contributed by pedroksl. If you use EMI for recipe lookups, this is the release that adds that integration directly to the mod.[35]
The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so there is nothing to report on pack-specific changes to it between releases.[3]
