What is Ender IO?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 5.5 guide
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod that covers a lot of ground in one package: machines, conduits, armor, weapons, tools, enchantments and decorative blocks. If you enjoy tech mods, this one gives you plenty to dig into, from processing machines to the conduits you'll use to move things around your base.[1]
Conduits
Conduits are one of the mod's headline features. These are the types the mod lists:[1]
- Item conduits[1]
- Fluid conduits[1]
- Energy conduits[1]
- Redstone conduits[1]
- Applied Energistics 2 ME conduits[1]
- Refined Storage conduits[1]
- Mekanism chemical conduits[1]
Ender IO in this pack
All the Mods 10 5.5 ships Ender IO 8.1.1-beta. The mod has been part of the pack since version 2.25 or earlier.[2]
Unverified The available sources don't cover where Ender IO fits into this pack's progression.
How do you get started with Ender IO?
5 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod: machines, conduits, armor, weapons, tools, enchantments and decorative blocks all live under one namespace. The build here is the monolithic one, so the Base, Machines, Conduits, Inventory Panel, AE2 ME conduit, Open Computers, Refined Storage, Forestry and Tinkers' Construct modules are all included in the single jar. The Zoo and Endergy add-ons are not.[1]
There is no quest line for the mod in this pack, so the path below is simply the order that unlocks the most for the least effort: a capacitor first, then energy storage, then your first machines and conduits.[1][6]
Start with a capacitor
The Basic Capacitor is the part almost everything else asks for. Make a small stack of them before anything else, because both the capacitor banks and the solar module below are built on top of it.[6]

Unverified Exactly what each machine processes, and how the alloy ingots themselves (copper alloy, energetic alloy, conductive alloy, dark steel, end steel) are produced in this pack, is not covered by the sources used for this page. Check the in-game recipe viewer for the machine recipes. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Conduits and filters
Conduits are the other half of the mod, and this pack carries item, fluid, energy, redstone, AE2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism chemical types. The Conduit Binder Composite is the starting point for the whole family, so make a batch as soon as you have a machine worth wiring up.[1][6]

For sorting, the enderio:basic_filter is the cheapest way in, and the enderio:advanced_filter follows once you have a Z-Logic Controller. Both want enderio:black_paper, so craft that first.[6]

Nice extras
- The Cold Fire Igniter is a one-craft dark steel tool and a good use for your first spare ingots.[6]
- The Coordinate Selector and the Electromagnet are handy quality-of-life items once copper alloy is flowing.[6]
- The "Enderios" is the mod's joke food and costs almost nothing to try.[6]
How does Ender IO work?
5 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod: it brings machines, conduits, armor, tools, weapons, enchantments, inventory management, mobs and decorative blocks into one package, so most of your base can run on Ender IO alone if you want it to.[1]
The version in this pack is the monolithic build, meaning every core part ships in a single jar. That includes the Base, Machines, Conduits and Inventory Panel modules, plus the Applied Energistics 2, Open Computers and Refined Storage conduit add-ons and the Forestry and Tinkers' Construct compatibility modules. The Zoo and Endergy modules are not part of this build, so don't go looking for their content.[1]
Conduits: the backbone of your base
Conduits are Ender IO's answer to pipes, cables and wires, and they are the reason a lot of people install the mod in the first place. The mod supports item, fluid, energy and redstone conduits, plus Applied Energistics 2 ME conduits, Refined Storage conduits and Mekanism chemical conduits.[1]
Because all of those types live in the same block space, you can run logistics, power and control signals along one tidy line instead of stacking several separate pipe networks around your machine room.[1]
In this pack the AE2 conduits are made by binding an existing AE2 cable, so you can convert glass, covered and covered dense cables directly into conduit form.[6]

Filters and automation
Ender IO's inventory management side runs on filters, which you slot into your logistics setup to control what moves where. The pack provides a basic filter and an advanced filter, both built around black paper, which is just paper dyed black.[1][6]

Unverified The precise filtering options each filter tier exposes, such as whitelist and blacklist modes, NBT matching or slot counts, are not described in the sources available for this pack.
Grinding balls and materials
Conductive alloy is one of the mod's working materials, and it compresses to a block and back again like any storage block, which is handy when you're shipping it around a base.[6]
It also forms a grinding ball, the consumable-style component Ender IO uses for processing.[6]

Unverified The output, bonus and durability values of the conductive alloy grinding ball in this pack are not documented in the available sources.
Collision token glass
Ender IO's decorative blocks include clear glass and fused quartz, and both come in a family of variants created with collision tokens. You apply an animal, monster or player token to a piece of glass to produce the matching variant.[1][6]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: enderio:collision_token_clear_glass_m
The variants stack: you can take a glass block that already carries one property and apply another token to it, which gives you the combined versions such as the darkened plus animal or emitting plus player blocks. Fused quartz follows the exact same set of token recipes as clear glass.[6]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: enderio:collision_token_fused_quartz_ep
Unverified Which entity types each token variant actually blocks or lets through, and how the darkened and emitting variants behave with light, are not stated in the sources available for this pack.
How do you progress through Ender IO?
6 parts
Ender IO in this pack doesn't hand you one big machine and call it a day. Progression runs through its alloys: almost every recipe family has a cheap entry version and one or more upgraded versions, and the only thing that changes between them is how advanced the metal in the recipe is. Work out the alloy ladder and you have worked out the whole mod's tier list.[6]
Tier 0: binder and conduits
Conduits are the earliest thing worth building, and they all start from conduit binder. The composite is dirt cheap, so you can lay pipe long before you have any serious machines running.[6]

Energy conduits come in three steps in this pack, and the upgrade path is visible right in the recipes: the basic energy conduit, the enhanced energy conduit, and finally the ender energy conduit. Each one keeps the same binder base and swaps in a better alloy.[6]

Tier 1: chassis machines
The first block of real machines all sit at the same tier because they share the same core part, the void chassis. The alloy smelter, crafter, drain and impulse hopper are effectively unlocked together: once you can make one chassis, the rest are just the extra bits around it.[6]

Extraction speed upgrades: four tiers
This is the clearest tier ladder in the mod. There are four extraction speed upgrades, and every one of them can either be crafted directly or made by upgrading the tier below it, so nothing you build early goes to waste.[6]
- Tier 1 is the entry upgrade and is crafted on its own.[6]
- Tier 2 can be crafted fresh or made from a tier 1 upgrade.[6]
- Tier 3 can be crafted fresh or made from a tier 2 upgrade.[6]

Late-game metals
Dark steel is the mid-to-late workhorse: it shows up across tools and building blocks such as the sword, door, trapdoor, ladder, bars and pressure plate, plus the cold fire igniter and glider wing. End steel is the tier above it, appearing in its own bars, block and nugget forms.[6]
Grinding balls track the same ladder, with versions made from copper alloy, conductive alloy, energetic alloy, dark steel and end steel, so your grinding ball quality improves as your alloy production does.[6]
Unverified The exact stats of each tier (conduit throughput, capacitor bank capacity and the speed bonus per upgrade tier) aren't covered by the pack data available here, so check the in-game tooltips and JEI for the numbers this pack uses. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
How does Ender IO work with other mods?
4 parts
Ender IO doesn't sit in its own corner in this pack. Its conduits hook into other tech mods, its alloys show up in farming and bee lines, and one of its machines feeds a shared resource used all over the pack.[1][6]
Mekanism conduits
Ender IO supports Mekanism chemical conduits, and the pack adds crafting recipes that turn Mekanism's own transfer blocks into Ender IO conduits so you can switch networks over without rebuilding from scratch.[1][6]

Mystical Agriculture
Pretty much every Ender IO alloy can be farmed. The pack adds infusion recipes that turn a block of each alloy into the matching seed, and Mystical Agriculture's own recipes turn the harvested essence back into ingots.[6]
- Tertium-tier seeds cover enderio:copper_alloy_ingot, Redstone Alloy Ingot and Conductive Alloy Ingot.[6]
- Imperium-tier seeds cover Energetic Alloy Ingot, Pulsating Alloy Ingot, Dark Steel Ingot and Soularium Ingot.[6]
- Supremium-tier seeds cover the top two, Vibrant Alloy Ingot and End Steel Ingot.[6]
- There's also an essence-to-item recipe for Grains of Infinity.[6]

Productive Bees
Ender IO ships Productive Bees centrifuge recipes for its alloys, so combs from the matching bees break down into alloy nuggets plus Wax. There are recipes for conductive alloy, copper alloy, dark steel, end steel, energetic alloy, pulsating alloy, redstone alloy, soularium and vibrant alloy nuggets, and one that yields Grains of Infinity directly instead of a nugget.[6]
Sulfur from SAG milling
The pack adds a SAG Mill recipe that grinds coal into Powdered Coal and Sulfur. That's a handy cross-mod link, since sulfur is a shared resource rather than an Ender IO item, and it means your SAG Mill can quietly cover a chemistry input while it processes ore.[6]
Sag Milling (enderio)

Which Ender IO config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.11 guide
There's nothing to tune here. The pack ships no config files for this mod, so every option runs at whatever the mod itself defaults to, and nothing has been changed for this pack.[1]
That also means you don't need to touch anything before you start building machines and conduits. Energy, item, fluid, redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism chemical conduits are all present in the version bundled here, as are the machines, armor, weapons, tools, enchantments and decorative blocks.[1]
Unverified Any in-game config screen this mod may expose has not been checked against the pack, so treat anything you find there as mod defaults rather than pack-tuned values.
What changed in Ender IO between versions?
4 parts
All the Mods 10 1.23 includes Ender IO 7.0.9-alpha, and the mod has been in the pack since 0.53 or earlier. I have no pack changelog entries for Ender IO, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs.[7]
7.0.0-alpha: the big rework
Ender IO 7 stays in alpha until the developers are happy with the stability of the existing content. They also planned changes to early-game Ender IO, so some recipes were expected to change.[8]
- A texture overhaul and GUI redesign by CyanideX, which the changelog describes as work-in-progress at that release.[8]
- Rewritten conduits with datapack support, plus RS2 conduits. Facades were still work-in-progress at that release.[8]
- The Vat for fluid crafting, the Phantom solar panel, and the inhibitor, aversion and relocator obelisks.[8]
- Grains of Infinity can be obtained through sag-milling and by setting deepslate on fire. Sag-mill recipes were also added for raw iron, gold and copper.[8]
- Enchantments were temporarily removed.[8]
7.0.1 to 7.0.5
Version 7.0.1-alpha added chemical filters. In 7.0.3-alpha the energy conduit cap changed from per-tick to per-node. The 7.0.4 and 7.0.5 releases were bug-fix builds, covering smelting recipe inheritance and the crafter.[9][10][11][12]
7.0.7 and 7.0.8: format changes
Version 7.0.7-alpha made all machine recipes support item components. That was a breaking change to the recipe format. It also fixed item duplication and item voiding with filters, and a long list of conduit bugs.[13]
Version 7.0.8-alpha dropped support for Minecraft 1.21 and requires 1.21.1. It fixed fluid conduits not working at all, and the redstone conduit not connecting to Copper Bulbs. Conduit JSON reading also changed: transfer rates are now per-tick for almost all conduits, but per-second for item conduits.[14]
7.0.9-alpha: the version in this pack
This release is a handful of quality-of-life features and bug fixes. It supports JEI click areas and ghost dragging, and plays an item pickup sound when you shift right-click a conduit with the yeta wrench. It also fixed crafters accidentally using a shared global crafting container, and incorrect redstone control icons.[15]
