What is Ender IO?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta guide
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod. Its project page lists armor, tools, weapons, machines, conduits, inventory management, mobs, enchantments and decorative blocks. The mod is being rewritten from the ground up, so some of its features may not have been ported yet.[1]
This pack includes Ender IO 9.0.5-alpha.[2]
Conduits
The project page lists these conduit types: Item, Fluid, Energy, Redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism Chemicals. Since the mod is mid-rewrite and some features are not yet ported, treat this as the mod's listed feature set rather than a promise of what is in your world.[1]
Things to know
How do you get started with Ender IO?
4 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod: machines, conduits, armor, tools, weapons and more. The sources I have for this pack don't give a step-by-step progression, so this page sticks to the first things the pack's recipes let you make and doesn't claim an official order.[1]
Power and conduits
In this pack, the Basic Capacitor and the energy conduits are crafted through recipes from Ender IO - Endergy, the Ender IO add-on, rather than the main Ender IO jar. Start by checking these recipes.[1][3]

This one also makes 8 conduits per craft.
Energy is one of the conduit types Ender IO offers. The others are Item, Fluid and Redstone, plus integrations for Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage and Mekanism Chemicals.[1]
Conduit Binder
Conduit Binder has two recipes in the pack, one smelting and one blasting. Each gives you 2 binders per craft.[3]
Early processing
Clear Glass is made with an alloy smelting recipe, and Powdered Copper comes from a sag milling recipe. Both are handy to know about early.[3]
Looking ahead
Once you're set up, the Soul Binder is a good later goal. Its crafting recipe uses a Soul Vial.[3]

How does Ender IO work?
8 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod: machines, conduits, inventory management, armor, tools and more. In this pack it sits alongside Ender IO - Endergy, which the mod's own project page lists as a separate add-on that is not included in the base jar. This section covers the systems the sources actually explain: conduits, power parts, the machine recipe types, and the data the mod uses to tune a few machines.[1][3]
Conduits
Conduits are how Ender IO moves things around. The placed block is named Conduit Bundle in the mod's language file, and the project page lists these conduit types: Item, Fluid, Energy, Redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism Chemicals.[1][4]
Conduit Binder has two recipes in this pack, one smelting and one blasting, and each gives you 2.[3]
Conduit Facade comes from a recipe of the painting type.[3]
The Endergy add-on has a copper energy conduit recipe that makes 8 conduits per craft.[3]
Crafting Shaped
| any copper ingot | any grain of infinity dusts | any copper ingot |
Recipe id: enderio_endergy:copper_energy_conduit
Power parts
The mod has an advancement for building a Capacitor Bank. In this pack the Basic Capacitor is crafted through an Endergy recipe.[3][4]

Range extenders are defined in a data map in the mod's jar: the Pulsating Wireless Antenna has a range extender value of 16 and the Vibrant Wireless Antenna has 32.[5]
Machines and recipe types
The mod's language file names blocks such as the Alloy Smelter, Painting Machine, Enchanter, Farming Station, Crafter, Fluid Tank, Pressurized Fluid Tank, Impulse Hopper, Powered Spawner, Block Detector and Drain, plus the Attractor, Aversion, Inhibitor and Relocator Obelisks.[4]
Ender IO uses its own recipe types instead of plain crafting. Counting the recipes in the pack that make Ender IO items:[3]
- enderio:alloy_smelting: 34 recipes with 16 different results. Clear Glass is one of them.[3]
- enderio:painting: 28 recipes with 16 different results.[3]
- enderio:sag_milling: 22 recipes that make only Ender IO items, plus 19 that make Ender IO and Minecraft items.[3]
- enderio:soul_binding: 13 recipes with 13 different results.[3]
- enderio:vat_fermenting: 8 recipes with 8 different results.[3]
Some machines keep their contents when broken. The loot tables for the Alloy Smelter, Attractor Obelisk and Aversion Obelisk copy the block entity's data onto the dropped item. The Block Detector's loot table just drops the plain item.[6][7][8][9]
SAG milling
SAG milling grinds ores and materials into dusts and other outputs. The mod's own recipes include cactus (gives Twigs and Prunings and Clippings and Trimmings), allium (gives Clippings and Trimmings and magenta dye) and coal (gives Powdered Coal and a sulfur dust).[3]

Sag Milling (enderio)
Recipe id: enderio:sag_milling/allium
The pack adds more SAG milling recipes through its scripts, each with an energy value of 2,400. The material recipes below are only added when the items exist and no SAG recipe already covers that input.[10][11]
- For Allthemodium, Vibranium, Unobtainium and the Silent Gear metals Crimson Iron, Azure Silver, Blaze Gold, Azure Electrum and Crimson Steel: an ore gives 1 raw material, with a 0.33 chance of a second one and a 0.15 chance of cobblestone.[10]
- For the same materials, a raw material gives 1 dust with a 0.25 chance of a second dust, and an ingot gives 1 dust.[10]
- With Applied Energistics 2 loaded: certus quartz gives certus quartz dust, fluix crystal gives fluix dust, a sky stone block gives sky dust, and ender pearls give ender dust, 1 each.[11]
- The same script removes the mod's own ender pearl SAG milling recipe.[11]
- With Powah! loaded: poor, regular and dense uraninite ores give 2, 4 and 6 raw uraninite.[11]
- With Silent Gear loaded: bort ore gives 3 bort.[11]
Grinding balls
The mod's jar ships a grinding ball data map with BonusMultiplier, Durability, OutputMultiplier and PowerUse values for each ball. These are the values listed there:[12]
- Conductive Alloy Grinding Ball: bonus 1.0, durability 40,000, output 1.35, power use 1.0.[12]
- Dark Steel Grinding Ball: bonus 2.0, durability 125,000, output 1.35, power use 0.7.[12]
- End Steel Grinding Ball: bonus 2.4, durability 75,000, output 1.4, power use 0.7.[12]
- Energetic Alloy Grinding Ball: bonus 1.1, durability 80,000, output 1.6, power use 1.1.[12]
- Pulsating Alloy Grinding Ball: bonus 1.85, durability 100,000, output 1.0, power use 1.0.[12]
- Redstone Alloy Grinding Ball: bonus 1.0, durability 30,000, output 1.0, power use 0.35.[12]
- Soularium Grinding Ball: bonus 2.15, durability 80,000, output 1.2, power use 0.9.[12]
- Vibrant Alloy Grinding Ball: bonus 1.35, durability 80,000, output 1.75, power use 1.13.[12]
- Flint also counts as a grinding ball: bonus 1.25, durability 24,000, output 1.2, power use 0.85.[12]
Vat fermenting
The vat reagent data map gives items a value under a reagent tag. For cold: Blue Ice is 81.0, Packed Ice is 9.0, Snow is 0.12 and Snowball is 0.11.[13]
Explosives: Gunpowder is 0.25, Fire Charge is 0.5, and Firework Rocket and Firework Star are both 0.4. Natural lights: Glow Ink Sac is 0.5, Glowstone Dust and Sea Pickle are 0.25, Glow Lichen is 0.2 and Glow Berries is 0.15. Sugar Cane counts as a crop at 0.5, and Torchflower counts as a sunflower at 1.2.[13]
One vat fermenting recipe makes 500 of the concentrated cloud seed fluid.[3]

How do you progress through Ender IO?
5 parts
Ender IO in this pack revolves around a family of alloys, and the recipe data shows several routes to them that go beyond the mod's own machines. This section groups what the recipes confirm: the alloy materials, the pack's alternate ways to get them, and the machine components that come after.[3]
Alloy materials
The pack has ingots, nuggets and blocks for Conductive Alloy Ingot, Energetic Alloy Ingot, Dark Steel Ingot and End Steel Ingot. There is also a Pulsating Alloy Block. AllTheCompressed adds decompress recipes that return 9 blocks each of conductive alloy, energetic alloy, dark steel, end steel and pulsating alloy.[3]
The recipe dump does not show a step-by-step order for these alloys, so this page does not rank them. What it does show is that you don't need to build every alloy by hand, because other mods make them for you.[3]
Getting alloys through other mods
Mystical Agriculture has crafting recipes that output Ender IO materials. Each one makes a different amount per craft, shown below.[3]
- Conductive Alloy Ingot: 5 per craft.[3]
- Energetic Alloy Ingot: 3 per craft.[3]
- Dark Steel Ingot: 4 per craft.[3]
- End Steel Ingot: 2 per craft.[3]
- Grains of Infinity: 8 per craft.[3]

How does Ender IO work with other mods?
2 parts
The pack's in-pack recipes show one clear link between Ender IO and another mod: Productive Bees. Its centrifuge has a set of recipes under an enderio path that give you Ender IO materials, and every one of them also gives you Wax.[3]
Productive Bees centrifuge outputs
Each of these centrifuge recipes gives one Ender IO item plus wax. Here is what you can get out of the centrifuge:[3]
- Conductive Alloy Nugget[3]
- Dark Steel Nugget[3]
- End Steel Nugget[3]
- Energetic Alloy Nugget[3]
- Pulsating Alloy Nugget[3]
- Redstone Alloy Nugget[3]
- Soularium Nugget[3]
- Vibrant Alloy Nugget[3]
- Grains of Infinity[3]

Which Ender IO config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.11 guide
There's nothing to tune here. The pack ships no config files for this mod, so every option runs at whatever the mod itself defaults to, and nothing has been changed for this pack.[1]
That also means you don't need to touch anything before you start building machines and conduits. Energy, item, fluid, redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism chemical conduits are all present in the version bundled here, as are the machines, armor, weapons, tools, enchantments and decorative blocks.[1]
Unverified Any in-game config screen this mod may expose has not been checked against the pack, so treat anything you find there as mod defaults rather than pack-tuned values.
What changed in Ender IO between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 11 0.12.0-beta ships Ender IO 9.0.6-alpha. The pack's mod list says Ender IO was first included in 0.0.2 or earlier. Below are the notable changes from 9.0.0-alpha through 9.0.6-alpha, from the mod's own changelogs.[16][17]
These releases are the Minecraft 26.1.2 version of the mod. 9.0.0-alpha was the first one, matching the latest 1.21.1 build at the time apart from a single feature change. The developers say that until beta you should expect things to explode at any time.[17]
Release by release
- 9.0.0-alpha: The stirling generator can now use bucketed fuel. The side-effect was that the fuel could be pulled out with conduits or by setting the machine to push.[17]
- 9.0.1-alpha: The SAG mill gained some modded ores, the powered spawner got visuals and animation, and the wireless charger supports curios. It also added a config for the farming station range overlay. Fixes include the wireless charger crash, mind killer not working on slimes, soul binder soul data recipes and the travel anchor not working. It requires NeoForge 26.1.2.21-beta or greater.[18]
- 9.0.2-alpha: In line with 8.2.7-beta on 1.21.1. It added XyCraft and Mekanism SAG Mill recipes, buffed some alloy recipes to return more metal depending on the number of input ingots, and buffed the photovoltaic recipe. A config flag now lets you set spawner mobs with a soul vial, and it is disabled by default. Fixes include energy conduits ignoring redstone signals and the totemic capacitor not being insertable.[19]
- 9.0.3-alpha: A proper release of 9.0.3 with reworked inventory handling. It added connected textures for glass, changed the behaviour and texture of the vial of the void, and re-added the experience rod. Fixes include the wireless charger recipe, item conduits voiding items when the destination is nearly full, and the stirling generator pushing full lava buckets to neighbours.[20]
- 9.0.4-alpha: A bug fix release covering a geore recipe crash, ghost slot logic, farming station tool usage and the travel anchor renderer.[21]
- 9.0.5-alpha: Increased the vacuum pickup range. Fire water can now properly be used for fire crafting, and a server crash caused by the coordinate selector was fixed.[22]
- 9.0.6-alpha (the version in this pack): Filter slots for items, fluids and redstone now have tooltips, and travel anchors render full-block icons as blocks. Fixes include missing textures for the dark steel ladder, end/dark steel bars and soul chain, the powered spawner putting too many items in the output, self-feeding energy conduits, and the farming station blocking when out of seeds.[23]
Unverified The pack's own release changelogs would say which pack version changed Ender IO, but the sources here contain no pack changelog entries for this mod, so that is not shown.
