What is Ender IO?
2 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod. The project describes armor, tools, weapons, machines, conduits, inventory management and mobs, plus enchantments and decorative blocks, though some features have not yet been ported in the rewrite.[1]
The pack ships Ender IO 8.0.7-alpha. The mod is being rewritten from the ground up for the latest Minecraft version, and its team says some features have not yet been ported. If you remember a feature from the old versions and can't find it, it may be one of those.[1][2]
Conduits
Conduits are one of the mod's main features. The project page lists these conduit types, but it also says some features have not yet been ported:[1]
- Item (as listed by the project)[1]
- Fluid (as listed by the project)[1]
- Energy (as listed by the project)[1]
- Redstone (as listed by the project)[1]
- Applied Energistics 2 ME (as listed by the project)[1]
- Refined Storage (as listed by the project)[1]
- Mekanism Chemicals (as listed by the project)[1]
Where you meet it in the pack
The quests that use Ender IO sit in the Productive Bees chapter. Each alloy bee quest asks you to hand in one of the mod's alloy blocks alongside a bee-related item. Most are labelled "Made in Alloy Smelter", so that machine is how you get these blocks. The quests are "Copper Alloy Bee" quest for enderio:copper_alloy_block, "Conductive Alloy Bee" quest for Conductive Alloy Block, "Energetic Alloy Bee" quest for Energetic Alloy Block, "Vibrant Alloy Bee" quest for Vibrant Alloy Block, "Pulsating Alloy Bee" quest for Pulsating Alloy Block, "Redstone Alloy Bee" quest for Redstone Alloy Block, "Soularium Bee" quest for Soularium Block, "Dark Steel Bee" quest for Dark Steel Block and "End Steel Bee" quest for End Steel Block.[3]
"Bee Of Infinity" quest is a little different. It wants Reinforced Obsidian, and its text says a BlazBee pollinating an Obsidian Bee Spawn Egg converts it into an Infinity Bee Spawn Egg.[3]
There is one more handy link. In the Industrial Foregoing chapter, a quest compares wrenches that can rotate Industrial Foregoing machines, and the Yeta Wrench is one of the accepted tasks. The quest author tested mainly on the Laser Drill and warns that some wrenches might not work with other machines.[4]
Unverified The sources do not show where Ender IO fits in the ATM Star path or in the wider progression, and no in-jar guidebook was found for it.
How do you get started with Ender IO?
5 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod: machines, conduits, tools, armor, inventory management and more. Here is a sensible first-steps path built from the recipes and quests this pack confirms.[1]
Step one: a wrench
Start with the Yeta Wrench. The pack adds its own recipe for it, shown below. A pack quest also lists it among the wrenches that can rotate Industrial Foregoing machines. That quest was tested mainly on the Laser Drill, and it says some wrenches might not work with other machines.[4][5]

Step two: the Alloy Smelter
Next, build the Alloy Smelter. The pack's Productive Bees quests for the alloy bees, such as "Dark Steel Bee" quest, are labeled "Made in Alloy Smelter". Each one asks for the matching Ender IO alloy block. The pack adds its own recipe for the machine.[3][5]

Step three: alloy blocks
The pack adds block recipes for the Ender IO alloys, each made from its ingots. Here is the Energetic Alloy Block as an example. The pack also changed the allthecompressed decompress recipes that return these blocks, so check the recipe viewer before you assume how unpacking works.[5]
Step four: capacitors
The pack adds its own recipes for the Basic Capacitor and the Basic Capacitor Bank. The Advanced Capacitor Bank also has an upgrade recipe that starts from the basic bank.[5]

How does Ender IO work?
6 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod with machines, conduits, inventory management, armor, tools and weapons. This section covers what the mod page and the pack's recipes confirm: the conduit types, and how this pack crafts its power storage, filters, a few machines and some glass and alloy blocks.[1][5]
Conduits
Ender IO lists these conduit types: Item, Fluid, Energy, Redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism Chemicals. The Applied Energistics 2 and Refined Storage conduit modules are included in the full mod jar.[1]
This pack adds its own way to get a Conduit Bundle: you combine an AE2 cable with a Conduit Binder. There is a separate recipe for the glass, covered and dense covered cable types.[5]

How do you progress through Ender IO?
5 parts
The Ender IO quests in the sources here are side quests in the Productive Bees and Industrial Foregoing chapters. Beyond those, the pack gives you a set of alloy tiers, tools and armor made from them, and capacitor-based power storage. Here is how those pieces fit together.[3][4][5]
The alloy tiers
The clearest progression markers are the alloy bee quests in the Productive Bees chapter. There is one each for copper alloy ("Copper Alloy Bee" quest), conductive alloy ("Conductive Alloy Bee" quest), energetic alloy ("Energetic Alloy Bee" quest), pulsating alloy ("Pulsating Alloy Bee" quest), vibrant alloy ("Vibrant Alloy Bee" quest), redstone alloy ("Redstone Alloy Bee" quest), soularium ("Soularium Bee" quest), dark steel ("Dark Steel Bee" quest) and end steel ("End Steel Bee" quest).[3]
Each of these quests asks for a bee item and the matching alloy block, such as Vibrant Alloy Block or End Steel Block. They are tagged "Made in Alloy Smelter", which points you to the Alloy Smelter. They all unlock after the same earlier quest, which means they are parallel goals and not a strict ladder.[3][5]

Alloy blocks in this pack
The pack adds its own recipes for compressing each alloy ingot into its block, covering copper alloy, conductive alloy, energetic alloy, pulsating alloy, vibrant alloy, redstone alloy, soularium, dark steel and end steel. It also adds recipes that turn the copper alloy, conductive alloy and dark steel blocks back into ingots, and those ingots into nuggets. The All the Compressed decompression recipes for these blocks are also marked as changed by the pack.[5]

How does Ender IO work with other mods?
7 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod with conduits, machines and inventory management, and in this pack it is wired into a lot of other mods. The pack adds or rewrites recipes and quests that use Ender IO items alongside items from other mods, so here is where you will run into them.[1][5]
Mekanism
Ender IO has a Mekanism Chemicals conduit type of its own. On top of that, the pack adds recipes that turn Mekanism transport pieces into Conduit Bundle. They cover the basic, advanced and elite pressurized tubes and the advanced thermodynamic conductor, and each needs a Conduit Binder. There are also upgrade recipes that make a conduit from Infused Alloy or Reinforced Alloy.[1][5]

Ex Deorum
You get Grains of Infinity by sieving Dust in Ex Deorum. The pack changed these sieve recipes, and they work with the string, flint, iron, golden, diamond and netherite meshes. The compressed sieve has matching recipes for every one of those meshes.[5]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: exdeorum:sieve/dust/iron/grains_of_infinity
The other meshes have matching recipes.
Productive Bees
This is the biggest link. The pack changed Productive Bees centrifuge recipes under the Ender IO namespace. Most of them give an Ender IO nugget plus Wax: conductive alloy, copper alloy, dark steel, end steel, energetic alloy, pulsating alloy, redstone alloy, soularium and vibrant alloy. The infinity honeycomb gives Grains of Infinity plus wax.[5]
Centrifuge (productivebees)
Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/enderio/honeycomb_infinity
The quest book follows the same idea. Each alloy bee quest is labelled "Made in Alloy Smelter" and asks you to hand in the matching Ender IO block alongside a Productive Bees item such as a honeycomb, a bee cage or a spawn egg.[3]
- "Soularium Bee" quest needs the Soularium Block.[3]
- "Pulsating Alloy Bee" quest needs the Pulsating Alloy Block.[3]
- "Vibrant Alloy Bee" quest needs the Vibrant Alloy Block.[3]
- "Copper Alloy Bee" quest needs the enderio:copper_alloy_block.[3]
- "Conductive Alloy Bee" quest needs the Conductive Alloy Block.[3]
- "Dark Steel Bee" quest needs the Dark Steel Block.[3]
- "Energetic Alloy Bee" quest needs the Energetic Alloy Block.[3]
- "Redstone Alloy Bee" quest needs the Redstone Alloy Block.[3]
- "End Steel Bee" quest needs the End Steel Block.[3]
- "Bee Of Infinity" quest needs the Reinforced Obsidian. Its quest text says a BlazBee pollinating an Obsidian Bee Spawn Egg converts it into an Infinity Bee Spawn Egg.[3]
AllTheCompressed
The pack changed the compress and decompress recipes between the Ender IO alloy blocks and their AllTheCompressed 1x versions. For example, Dark Steel Block compresses into Dark Steel Block 1x, and decompressing gets you the Ender IO block back. The same goes for conductive alloy, copper alloy, end steel, energetic alloy, pulsating alloy, redstone alloy, soularium and vibrant alloy.[5]

Industrial Foregoing
The Yeta Wrench is one of the wrenches listed in an Industrial Foregoing quest as able to rotate Industrial Foregoing machines. The quest author tested them mainly on the Laser Drill and warns that some wrenches might not work on other machines. See a quest in "Industrial Foregoing" for the full list.[4]
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Ender IO?
2 parts
Ender IO shows up in two quest chapters in this pack. The main one is Productive Bees, where it supplies the alloy blocks for a whole set of bee quests. The other is a single wrench quest in the Industrial Foregoing chapter.[3][4]
Productive Bees chapter
Every Ender IO quest here follows the same pattern. Each has two tasks: hand in any one of the Productive Bees items (a configurable honeycomb, a configurable comb, a configurable bee spawn egg, a bee cage or a sturdy bee cage), and hand in a specific Ender IO block. They all unlock after the same earlier quest in the chapter, so none of them depends on another. You can do them in any order once that prerequisite is done.[3]
Most of these quests are tagged "Made in Alloy Smelter", which tells you where the alloy block for each bee comes from. These are the quests and the block each one asks for:[3]
- "Copper Alloy Bee" quest asks for enderio:copper_alloy_block.[3]
- "Conductive Alloy Bee" quest asks for Conductive Alloy Block.[3]
- "Energetic Alloy Bee" quest asks for Energetic Alloy Block.[3]
- "Redstone Alloy Bee" quest asks for Redstone Alloy Block.[3]
- "Pulsating Alloy Bee" quest asks for Pulsating Alloy Block.[3]
- "Vibrant Alloy Bee" quest asks for Vibrant Alloy Block.[3]
- "Soularium Bee" quest asks for Soularium Block.[3]
- "Dark Steel Bee" quest asks for Dark Steel Block.[3]
- "End Steel Bee" quest asks for End Steel Block.[3]
The odd one out is "Bee Of Infinity" quest. It isn't tagged as made in the Alloy Smelter, and it asks for Reinforced Obsidian. Its description says that a BlazBee pollinating an Obsidian Bee Spawn Egg converts it into an Infinity Bee Spawn Egg.[3]
Industrial Foregoing chapter
a quest in "Industrial Foregoing" is an untitled quest that comes after the chapter's starting quest. It's a wrench compatibility note, and its task accepts several wrenches, including the Yeta Wrench. The quest text says most wrenches can't rotate Industrial Foregoing machines, so the author compiled a list of ones that can. You can click the task in the quest to see every valid wrench.[4]
Which Ender IO config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.11 guide
There's nothing to tune here. The pack ships no config files for this mod, so every option runs at whatever the mod itself defaults to, and nothing has been changed for this pack.[1]
That also means you don't need to touch anything before you start building machines and conduits. Energy, item, fluid, redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism chemical conduits are all present in the version bundled here, as are the machines, armor, weapons, tools, enchantments and decorative blocks.[1]
Unverified Any in-game config screen this mod may expose has not been checked against the pack, so treat anything you find there as mod defaults rather than pack-tuned values.
What changed in Ender IO between versions?
4 parts
All the Mods 10: To the Sky 1.8 ships Ender IO 8.0.7-alpha, and the mod has been in the pack since 1.0 or earlier. Below are the notable changes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first. They describe the mod itself and are not a record of what the pack changed.[2]
8.0.7-alpha (the version in this pack)
- A hotfix for a hang-on-load when using the Attractor Obelisk.[9]
- Three experiments are listed, each locked behind a feature flag: dark steel tools and armor, The Ender IO, and the Farming Machine. They are work in progress, so don't enable them on your primary world.[9]
- The changelog warns of extensive API breaks for addon developers, with a package reshuffle planned later in the v8 alpha phase.[9]
8.0.4-alpha
- The Conduit Probe was ported to 1.21.1.[6]
- A Soul Vial whitelist tag was added, so modpacks can bypass the blacklist.[6]
- Fixed a bug where releasing a mob from a stack of vials deleted the rest of the vials in the stack.[6]
8.0.3-alpha
This release carried the big v8 feature set, and it was also a hotfix for world load problems when upgrading from v7 to v8 with upgraded conduits. Earlier hotfixes covered Refined Storage conduits not loading from 7.x saves (8.0.1) and conduits failing to load because of removed filters (8.0.2). This one addressed a freeze during world load.[7]
- The core conduit block logic and data storage were rewritten, with much more efficient ticking. You can now open the filter GUI from the conduit GUI, and FTB Ultimine integration lets you vein mine individual conduits or facades within bundles.[7]
- Item, energy, fluid and chemical conduits gained a priority option. Energy conduits also got buffed rates and split energy equally across outputs of the same priority. Redstone conduits gained a "strong power" option.[7]
- All filters got bigger, and an advanced item filter and big item filter variants were added.[7]
- The primitive alloy smelter was removed, and the Alloy Smelter and SAG Mill no longer need dark steel to craft. Raw ore SAG Mill recipes were buffed.[7]
- New additions include the Attractor Obelisk, the Weather Obelisk, a wireless charger with range extending antennas, VAT recipes, a powered spawner capture mode and a mind killer upgrade for the powered spawner.[7]
- Removed: the old enchantments code (enchantments are not coming back to Ender IO for now), the light and powered light blocks, and the wood and stone gear.[7]
7.1.8-alpha
The last 7.x build fixed powered machines not updating state correctly, ported a fix for loading large conduit networks from 1.20.1, and moved to the beta release of Refined Storage. As of 28/08/2025 it was marked as a beta, and the changelog recommends it over the incoming 8.0 alphas if you want stability.[8]
