Applied Energistics 2 in All the Mods 10: To the Sky
All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.1.0 ships version 19.2.17 · First seen in 1.0
Applied Energistics 2 is a mod in All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.1.0, where it is version 19.2.17. AE2: A popular automation and storage mod (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)
Stuck? Why it might not be working
- AE2 autocrafting: the job sits on Scheduled and never craftsScheduled means patterns the CPU has queued but not yet pushed to a machine; Crafting means outputs already pushed and still awaited. A job frozen on Scheduled is a push that keeps failing, or an output that never came back, and AE2 shows no message for either. It retries forever, so waiting will not fix it unless the cause was a power or channel dip that has since come back.Checked against the versions in All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.1.0.

What is Applied Energistics 2?
1 part
Applied Energistics 2, or AE2, is a storage and automation mod with a futuristic tech theme. At its heart is the ME (Matter Energy) network, a digital storage system that keeps your items in storage cells and lets you reach all of them from terminals. It swaps a huge room full of chests for something compact and searchable.[1][2]
That is just the start. AE2 also does autocrafting: you set up patterns, and the system crafts the whole chain of sub-ingredients on demand. It can also keep certain items in stock and move items around your base. Cables have a channel system that limits how many devices one cable can carry, so you will need to plan your builds. Spatial storage even lets you save whole regions of the world in a cell.[1][2]
If you love automating things and managing resources at scale, this mod is for you. It is built to work with the other mods in a modpack and to automate them.[1][2]
Where it fits in this pack
This pack runs Applied Energistics 2 version 19.2.17.[3]
Because this is a skyblock pack, getting started works a bit differently. The Chapter 2 quest "Sky Stone" quest has you sieve dust to get Sky Stone Dust, which you need for your presses. You then make the inscriber presses from the Inscriber itself.[4][5]
The pack's AE2 quest chapter walks you through the early game in roughly this order:[5]
- Build a Charger and an Inscriber. The charger charges Certus Quartz Crystals for making Fluix, and the inscriber makes circuits and processors.[5]
- Make Fluix Crystal and Fluix Dust. Fluix goes into most AE2 devices and all of the cabling.[5]
- Create the four inscriber presses, starting with the Inscriber Silicon Press.[5]
- Press your Logic Processor, Calculation Processor and Engineering Processor.[5]
- Craft an ME Terminal or ME Crafting Terminal, then an ME Controller to expand your channels, then storage with the ME Drive and ME Chest.[5]
How do you get started with Applied Energistics 2?
6 parts
Your Applied Energistics 2 journey in this pack starts with two machines: the Charger and the Inscriber. The "First Things First" quest quest asks for both, and almost everything else you build early on depends on them.[5]
Step 1: Charger and Inscriber
When you give the Charger power, it charges Certus Quartz Crystal into Charged Certus Quartz Crystal. Those charged crystals go into making Fluix, one of the mod's key resources. The Charger can also charge any item that stores power.[5]

The Inscriber turns AE2's quartz crystals into dust. More importantly, it makes the printed circuits and processors that nearly every ME device needs.[5]
Step 2: Your Inscriber presses
In regular AE2 you loot all four inscriber presses from a meteorite. This pack is a skyblock, so you make your presses in the Inscriber instead. If you can't find the recipe, the quest's next page shows the recipe that creates your first press rather than duplicating one.[5][6]
Once you have a press, the Inscriber can copy it. Here's the copy recipe for the Inscriber Silicon Press. The Inscriber Logic Press, Inscriber Calculation Press and Inscriber Engineering Press have matching recipes.[5][7]
Copies a press you already own
Unverified The sources don't show the exact recipe for creating your very first press, so check the quest book for it.
Step 3: Charged certus and Fluix
Fluix is arguably the next most important resource. It goes into most AE2 devices and is the base for all ME cabling, so you'll want to mass-produce it. The "Fluix" quest quest explains how to make Fluix Crystal by throwing materials, including your charged certus, into water. You can then grind the crystal into Fluix Dust in the Inscriber.[5]
Step 4: Speed up your certus
Certus quartz buds grow very slowly on their own. A powered Growth Accelerator placed next to the budding block speeds them up massively. The official guide says to build a few of these as your first priority.[6][8][9]

Breaking a fully grown cluster drops four certus crystals, and Fortune increases that number. Breaking an unfinished bud drops just one dust. Each time a bud grows, the budding block has a chance to degrade a tier. You can repair it by throwing it, or a certus quartz block, into water with charged certus crystals.[6][8][10]
Unverified The quest book says this pack also creates flawless budding certus differently from regular AE2, but the sources don't explain how.
Step 5: Processors
Once you have the full set of presses, it's time for the "Processors" quest quest. Processors are a crafting ingredient in most ME devices, so make a few of each of the three types before you build your first ME system.[5][6]
Step 6: Power and your first ME system
Most of an ME network runs on its own power type, AE. RF/FE converts to AE at a 2:1 RF:AE ratio. You can convert it through an ME Controller or through an Energy Acceptor, which can connect to any part of the network.[5]

ME storage keeps your items inside storage cells, and those cells go into an ME Drive or an ME Chest. The ME Chest is fairly limited, so the Drive is the way to go. A basic first system uses a drive, some glass, covered or smart cables (not dense ones), and a few storage cells. The official guide recommends 4k cells as a good mix of capacity and types.[6][10]

How does Applied Energistics 2 work?
9 parts
AE2 is built around one idea: your whole base's storage, crafting and logistics live on a single connected network. If you understand how that network passes channels, power and items, everything else in the mod gets much easier. Here's how it all works, as far as the guide sources explain it.[1][11]
Networks and connections
A network is a group of devices linked by blocks that can pass channels, like cables or full-block machines and devices. Where a device physically sits doesn't matter. All that matters is which network it's connected to.[11]
A quantum bridge acts like a wireless dense cable, so both ends are on one network. Cable color doesn't split networks either, apart from cables of different colors refusing to connect to each other. Uncolored fluix cables connect to every color.[11]
Full-block devices can pass a connection straight through them, which catches people out when they try to build a separate network. Right-clicking a pattern provider with a wrench makes it directional, so it won't pass channels through one side.[11]
Channels
Devices that use networked storage or other network services need a channel. Standard cables and most machines pass up to 8 channels, and dense cables pass up to 32. The only other things that carry 32 are the ME P2P Tunnel and the Quantum Network Bridge. Level emitters are the notable device that usually doesn't need a channel.[12][13]
With a controller, channels take the shortest path through adjacent machines to the nearest normal cable, then to the nearest dense cable, then to the controller. If that shortest path is already full, some devices won't get a channel even though other cables sit empty.[12]
- Build your network like a tree: dense cables branching from the controller, regular cables branching from those, and devices in clusters of 8 or fewer on the regular cables.[12]
- Keep loops and ambiguous channel paths to a minimum, and use smart cables to see how channels are being used and routed.[12]
- A network without a controller is ad-hoc and supports up to 8 channel-using devices. Go past 8 and those devices shut down until you remove some or add a controller.[12]
- Each node a channel traverses costs 1/128 ae/t, so adding a controller to a large network can actually lower power use by changing how channels are allocated.[12]
Unverified AE2 has a configurable channel mode with an operator command, but the pack's config files weren't available, so whether this pack changes it is unconfirmed.
Energy
A network has one shared pool of energy. Devices pull from it directly, and sources like vibration chambers, energy acceptors and controllers add to it. There are no transfer-rate limits inside the network, only your storage. That's why the guide suggests treating an AE2 network as a single large multiblock machine when you plan your base's power.[14]
AE2 converts other energy into its own unit, AE, and the conversion is one-way. On Forge, 2 FE equals 1 AE. Energy acceptors and controller faces do the converting, but controller faces are usually better spent on channels.[14]
A network can't take in or use more energy in one tick than it can store. A tiny network that tries to import a whole inventory of cobblestone at once can run out of energy and reboot. The fix is energy cells.[14]
- Every cable, machine or part adds a built-in buffer of 25 AE.[14]
- A controller holds 8,000 AE internally.[14]
- One Energy Cell holds 200k AE, which the guide says is enough for most setups.[14]
- The Dense Energy Cell holds 1.6M AE. Use it to run off stored power or to cover the huge instant draw of large spatial storage setups.[14]
Import, export and storage priority
Network storage is where a network's contents live, usually storage cells or whatever inventory a storage bus points at. Import busses push things into it and export busses pull things out. Interfaces do both, and terminals do both whenever you insert or take items. Storage busses are the odd one out. They make the inventory they point at act as network storage, so other devices push to or pull from them.[15]
Priority decides where things go. Incoming items go to the highest-priority storage first. If two storages tie, the one that already holds the item wins. Items being removed come from the lowest-priority storage first. Over time, high-priority storage fills up and low-priority storage empties.[9][15]
Storage cells: bytes and types
Cells are limited by bytes (total amount) and types (how many different things). Every item costs 1 bit, so 8 items make 1 byte. A full stack of 64 takes 8 bytes however it stacks outside the network. For fluids it's 8 buckets per byte. Each type also costs some bytes up front.[16]
Every cell tier holds 63 types, so a bigger cell isn't automatically better. A 1k cell stores 1,024 bytes and a 256k cell stores 262,144 bytes. A 1k cell holding a single type can store 8,128 items, but with all 63 types in use that drops to 4,160. Unstackable items with unique damage or enchantments each count as their own type, so filter mob-farm armor and tools out before they reach your system.[16][17]
Autocrafting
Autocrafting needs three things: something sending a crafting request, a crafting CPU, and a pattern provider. A request can come from you in a terminal, or from an export bus or interface with a crafting card. The system works out the ingredients and the prerequisite steps and stores them in the chosen crafting CPU. The provider then pushes ingredients to adjacent inventories.[18]
With a crafting pattern, the provider pushes to a molecular assembler. With a processing pattern, it pushes to any machine or setup you like. The craft's result must come back into the network through an import bus, an interface, or a pattern provider. Piping it into a chest with a storage bus on it doesn't count, because an item has to actually enter the system.[18]
Processing patterns are the flexible ones. The system only cares that the promised result eventually arrives, so you can feed whole factory chains with them. A pattern can also ask for several items per operation, like 8 cobblestone for 8 stone, and identical patterns on multiple providers run in parallel.[18]
The autocrafting algorithm can't handle recursive recipes, such as a duplication recipe where 1 redstone dust becomes 2. The workaround is the most general form of pattern: an interface with a crafting card set to emit a redstone signal. That signal can switch on a farm or a duplicating machine and tells the system the item will show up later. The crafting card is made like this:[18]
Put the Crafting Card in an interface or export bus so it can request crafts.
Subnetworks
A subnet is simply a separate network. People use them to control which devices can reach which storage, and to save channels on the main network. For example, an import bus on a pipe-style subnet must not be connected to your main storage, or it will dump items into your cells instead of the destination inventory. A pattern provider can also output to an interface that feeds several storage busses on several machines, using 1 channel instead of one per machine.[19]
The most common mistake is a jumble of devices that still connects to the main network through some full-block device. Check your connections with a network tool.[11][19]
Spatial IO
Spatial IO swaps a defined volume of the world with an identically sized volume in the spatial storage dimension. You put a spatial cell in the IO port and give the port a redstone pulse. The port shows the energy required, which can be large and is used instantly, so have enough energy cells ready.[20]
- Pylons define the volume. It's the bounding box of the outside of the pylons, shrunk by 1 block in every direction. The minimum is 3x3x3, which gives a 1x1x1 volume.[20]
- All pylons must be on the same network and inside the outer bounding box. Each pylon must be at least 2 blocks long. Only one spatial IO setup is allowed per network, so a subnet is recommended.[20]
- A cell's dimensions are fixed permanently the first time it's used, and they can't be rotated. The IO port won't run if the cell's dimensions don't match the defined volume.[20]
- Minimal pylon setups around large volumes are very inefficient and may need billions of AE.[20]
Certus growth
Certus quartz buds grow on budding certus blocks, which you first find in meteorites. A fully grown cluster drops four Certus Quartz Crystal, and fortune increases that. A bud that isn't finished drops one certus quartz dust, and fortune doesn't change it. Each time a bud grows a stage, the budding block can degrade by one tier, and the tiers run Flawless, Flawed, Chipped, Damaged.[8][21]
You can repair a budding block, or make a new one, by throwing it (or a certus quartz block) into water with a Charged Certus Quartz Crystal. Flawless budding blocks never degrade, but you can't craft them or move them with a pickaxe, even with silk touch. Growth accelerators placed next to a budding block massively speed up growth. The guide says to build a few of them first.[8][21]
How do you progress through Applied Energistics 2?
7 parts
Applied Energistics 2 in this pack is laid out in the AE2 quest chapter, and the path builds in layers. You start with a couple of basic machines, then make presses and processors, bring your network online with power and a controller, climb the storage tiers, and finally set up auto-crafting. Here's how each stage works in this pack.[5]
Getting started: Charger and Inscriber
Your first quest, "First Things First" quest, asks for a Charger and an Inscriber. When the Charger has power, it turns Certus Quartz Crystals into Charged Certus Quartz Crystal, which you need for Fluix. It can also charge any item that stores power. The Inscriber grinds AE2's quartz crystals into dust, and more importantly it makes Printed Circuits and Processors. Both machines accept RF/FE directly, so you can run them before you have a real network.[5]

Inscriber presses, the skyblock way
This is a skyblock, so you don't find presses the usual way. The next quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", asks for all four presses: Inscriber Silicon Press, Inscriber Logic Press, Inscriber Calculation Press and Inscriber Engineering Press. In this pack you make them in the Inscriber itself.[5]

Unverified The exact recipe for creating your first press, without already owning one, isn't included in the sources for this section. Check the quest's second page or JEI in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10: To the Sky's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Fluix
"Fluix" quest introduces Fluix. It goes into the vast majority of AE2 devices and is the base for all of your cabling, so you'll want to mass produce it. You make a Fluix Crystal by throwing the ingredients together into a pool of water. You can then grind it into Fluix Dust in an Inscriber.[5]
Alternative route that starts from Fluix Dust
Processors
Once you have a full set of presses, "Processors" quest has you make the three processors: Logic Processor, Calculation Processor and Engineering Processor. Most ME-connected devices need them, so this is the point where AE2 really opens up.[5]
Terminals, power and the controller
"Terminals" quest gives you access to your network. The ME Terminal shows everything in one big grid. The ME Crafting Terminal adds a crafting grid that can use anything stored in the network.[5]
Most of an ME network runs on its own power type, AE. a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" explains that RF/FE converts to AE at a 2:1 ratio. The conversion happens either through the ME Controller or through an Energy Acceptor placed anywhere on the network.[5]
Without a controller, a network only has an 800AE internal buffer. Each controller block adds 8kAE. Big networks can still run short and flicker off, so a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" adds storage: each Energy Cell adds 200kAE, and each Dense Energy Cell adds 1.6MAE.[5]
a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" brings in the ME Controller. A network without a controller gets 8 channels. A single controller block provides 32 channels from each face, for 216 in total. The controller is a multiblock up to 7x7x7 in any freeform shape, and each block provides its own channels as long as no controller block is surrounded by 4 others on the same plane.[5]

Storage tiers
"The Storage" quest covers the heart of AE2: digital Storage Cells. The ME Chest holds one cell and has its own terminal on top. The ME Drive holds up to 10 cells in a single block using a single channel, but it needs a terminal somewhere else on the network.[5]

The component you craft a cell with sets its capacity. "Creating your first Storage Cell" quest starts you on the 1k ME Storage Component, which holds 1,024 bytes. "4k Storage Component" quest moves you up to the 4k ME Storage Component, which holds 4,096 bytes.[5]
After that, the chain continues through the 16k ME Storage Component, 64k ME Storage Component and 256k ME Storage Component. Each tier's recipe builds on the tier below it. The same components also make fluid cells such as the 1k ME Fluid Storage Cell.[7]

Auto-crafting
"Auto-Crafting" quest starts auto-crafting. The ME Pattern Provider holds up to 9 patterns, and the ME Pattern Access Terminal lets you reach every provider on your network from one place. "Patterns" quest then has you encode recipes onto Blank Pattern items using the ME Pattern Encoding Terminal.[5]
Crafting jobs need a crafting CPU, which a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" covers. It's a multiblock that needs at least one Crafting Storage block and must be a solid cuboid. The crafting storage tiers mirror the storage components from 1k up to 256k, so each new component tier also unlocks a bigger CPU block.[5][7]

To speed things up, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" adds the Crafting Co-Processing Unit, which gives your CPU one extra co-processing thread. For crafting-table recipes you'll need the Molecular Assembler, and up to 6 can connect to a single Pattern Provider. A full set of 5 Acceleration Card upgrades cuts an assembler's craft time from one second to one tick.[5]

How does Applied Energistics 2 work with other mods?
6 parts
AE2 is the backbone for a whole family of addons in this pack. Its processors, cards, buses and terminals show up again and again in other mods' recipes, and the pack has tweaked quite a few of those recipes. If a recipe below is marked as changed, trust the in-game version over any addon wiki.[7]
Powering your network
Your network runs on its own AE energy, but it plays nicely with the RF/FE that other tech mods generate. The Inscriber and Charger accept RF/FE directly. For everything else, RF/FE converts to AE at a 2:1 ratio, either through an ME Controller or through an Energy Acceptor placed anywhere on the network.[5]
The Reaction Chamber
The Reaction Chamber is crafted from AE2 machines. It turns AE2 materials into resources for other addons. The pack changed the Reaction Chamber recipes that make Sky Steel Ingot, Sky Bronze Ingot and Sky Osmium Ingot from AE2's charged certus and sky stone. It also changed the ones that make Redstone Crystal and Entro Crystal from Fluix Crystals.[7]

Quantum tech built on AE2
The quantum side of things grows straight out of AE2. You make a Shattered Singularity from an AE2 Singularity in the Reaction Chamber. You then use it in the AE2 Inscriber to make the Inscriber Quantum Press. The Quantum Processor is also pressed in the Inscriber, and there is a Crystal Assembler recipe for it too. In this pack, the Quantum Crafting Unit recipe is changed so that it upgrades an AE2 Crafting Unit.[7]

Pattern providers and buses
- The pack changed the Advanced Pattern Provider recipe so that it is built from a regular ME Pattern Provider.[7]
- The pack also changed the Advanced Extended Pattern Provider recipe, which builds on the ME Extended Pattern Provider.[7]
- The ME Import Export Bus and ME Stock Export Bus are built from AE2's import and export buses. They then combine into the ME Advanced IO Bus.[7]

Wireless terminals and cards
- You craft the Wireless Pattern Access Terminal and Wireless Pattern Encoding Terminal from their AE2 terminal versions. You can then combine either one with a Wireless Crafting Terminal.[7]
- The Wireless Quantum Crafter Terminal also has a combine recipe with the Wireless Crafting Terminal.[7]
- The Quantum Bridge Card is made from AE2's Quantum Bridge parts.[7]
- The pack changed the recipe for the Magnet Card.[7]
- The pack changed the Import Card and Export Card recipes, which build on an Advanced Card.[7]
- The pack changed the Infinity Range Booster recipe, which upgrades an AE2 Wireless Booster.[7]
Storage and compression
You make ME DISK Drives like the 1k ME DISK Drive from AE2 storage components. You can craft them in full, or pop a component into a pre-made ME DISK Housing.[7]
Got a mountain of AE2 blocks? The pack's own compress recipes turn Certus Quartz Blocks, Fluix Blocks and Sky Stone into compressed versions such as Fluix Block 1x.[7]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Applied Energistics 2?
6 parts
Most of your AE2 progress lives in the pack's own Applied Energistics 2 quest chapter. It starts with a short main line and then branches into power, buses, autocrafting, wireless access and spatial storage. One more AE2 item shows up elsewhere: the "Sky Stone" quest quest in Chapter 2: The Cool Parts asks for Sky Stone Dust.[4][5]
The main line
- "First Things First" quest asks for a Charger and an Inscriber. You use the Charger to charge Certus Quartz Crystals and the Inscriber to make circuits and processors.[5]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for all four presses: Inscriber Calculation Press, Inscriber Engineering Press, Inscriber Logic Press and Inscriber Silicon Press. Because this is a skyblock, the pack has you make your presses in the inscriber directly.[5]
- "Processors" quest asks for a Logic Processor, a Calculation Processor and an Engineering Processor.[5]
- "Terminals" quest asks for an ME Terminal and an ME Crafting Terminal.[5]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for an ME Controller. It unlocks after Terminals and the Basic Cabling quest.[5]
- "The Storage" quest asks for an ME Chest and an ME Drive. After it you get "Creating your first Storage Cell" quest with the 1k ME Storage Component, which leads on to "4k Storage Component" quest and "Condensed Matter" quest.[5]
The "Fluix" quest quest asks for Fluix Crystal and Fluix Dust. You'll want lots of Fluix, because it goes into most AE2 devices and all of your cabling.[5]
If you follow the ATM Star path, these quests are on it: First Things First, Fluix, the presses quest, Processors, Terminals, the Controller quest, The Storage, your first Storage Cell, the 4k component and Condensed Matter.[5]
Power
The power branch starts with a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", which asks for an Energy Acceptor. Next, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for an Energy Cell and a Dense Energy Cell. It finishes with a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the Energy Card.[5]
Buses, P2P and subnets
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for the ME Import Bus and leads to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the ME Annihilation Plane.[5]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for the ME Export Bus and leads to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the ME Formation Plane.[5]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for the ME Storage Bus. After it come a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the Capacity Card and then "Loosely Speaking" quest for the Fuzzy Card and Inverter Card.[5]
- "P2P Tunnels" quest asks for the ME P2P Tunnel and is followed by a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the Memory Card. You need the Memory Card to link tunnels.[5]
- "Forgot to Mention" quest asks for Quartz Fiber and explains subnetting.[5]
Autocrafting
- "Auto-Crafting" quest needs a ME Pattern Access Terminal. It leads to "Patterns" quest for the ME Pattern Encoding Terminal and Blank Pattern. From there you get the Molecular Assembler in a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" and then the Acceleration Card in a quest in "Applied Energistics 2".[5]
- Your crafting CPU is built through three quests. a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" accepts any crafting storage block, such as 1k Crafting Storage. Then come a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the Crafting Co-Processing Unit and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the Crafting Monitor.[5]
- "ME Level Emitter" quest leads to "Redstone-Controlled ME" quest, which asks for the Redstone Card and ME Toggle Bus. That in turn leads to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for the Crafting Card.[5]
- a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for a Growth Accelerator to speed up your budding crystals.[5]
Wireless and spatial storage
After the Controller quest, a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" asks for an ME Wireless Access Point and a Wireless Booster. Next comes "Wireless Terminals" quest for the Wireless Terminal and Wireless Crafting Terminal.[5]
Spatial storage starts at "Spatial IO" quest with the Spatial IO Port. It continues to a quest in "Applied Energistics 2" for Spatial Pylon and ends at "Spatial Storage Cell" quest, where any spatial cell size counts.[5]
Handy extras
A few side quests round out the chapter. "Color Applicator" quest asks for the Color Applicator. "Cable Anchor" quest asks for a Cable Anchor and an Inscriber Name Press. "Network Tools" quest is for the Network Tool, and a quest in "Applied Energistics 2", which comes after The Storage, asks for a Cell Workbench.[5]
Which Applied Energistics 2 config options matter?
Most of what makes Applied Energistics 2 feel the way it does comes from its networking and channel system. Devices on the same network can talk to each other, and channels limit how many devices can connect through a single cable. That limit is what turns AE2 builds into a planning puzzle, so it's the mechanic you'll feel most as you expand your network.[1]
Unverified This pack's config files for Applied Energistics 2 weren't available when this section was written. So we can't confirm how the pack sets any option, including the channel mode, power usage, or spatial storage settings, or whether any of them differ from the mod's defaults. Until that's checked, assume nothing has changed and test in-game before you plan a big network around a particular setting.
What changed in Applied Energistics 2 between versions?
In All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4, you're running Applied Energistics 2 version 19.2.17, shipped as the file appliedenergistics2-19.2.17.jar. The mod list records it as first included in 2.0.4 or earlier, so it has been part of the pack since at least this release.[3]
Unverified There are no pack changelog entries or stored mod changelogs available for Applied Energistics 2 in this pack, so specific changes between pack releases (version bumps, recipe tweaks or config changes) can't be confirmed here.
