What is Ender IO?
2 parts
The project page describes Ender IO as a full-featured tech mod with armor, tools, weapons, machines, conduits, inventory management and mobs, plus enchantments and decorative blocks. Keep in mind that the mod is being rewritten, so some features may not yet have been ported.[1]
This pack includes Ender IO 7.1.8-alpha, and it has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier.[2]
Conduits
Conduits are one of the main features the project page lists. It names these conduit types: Item, Fluid, Energy, Redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage Conduit and Mekanism Chemicals. The page also says the mod is mid-rewrite and some features will not yet have been ported, so it does not promise that every feature is present in every version.[1]
Good to know
The project page describes its main download as the monolithic installation, meaning the core parts of Ender IO come in one jar file. The modules it lists are Base, Machines, Conduits, Inventory Panel, the AE2, OC and RS conduit modules, and the Forestry and Tinkers Construct modules. The same page notes that the rewrite is ongoing and some features will not yet have been ported.[1]
How do you get started with Ender IO?
5 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod with machines, conduits, inventory management and more. In this pack many of its recipes are added or changed, so trust the recipe blocks below over what you remember from elsewhere. Here is a sensible order for the basics.[1][3]
Start with Grains of Infinity
Grains of Infinity go into your first capacitor, so they are the first thing to chase. This pack gives you a few routes: sieving with Ex Deorum, sag milling deepslate cobblestone, or the extractor from XyCraft Machines. The sieve recipe and the sag milling recipe are shown here.[3]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: exdeorum:sieve/dust/diamond/grains_of_infinity
The pack changed this Ex Deorum sieve recipe so it gives Grains of Infinity.
Sag Milling (enderio)
- any deepslate cobblestone
Recipe id: enderio:sag_milling/cobbled_deepslate
Sag milling deepslate cobblestone gives Grains of Infinity and a cobblestone back.
Craft a basic capacitor
The Basic Capacitor is a shaped crafting recipe in this pack. It is also an ingredient in the slicing recipe for the Skeletal Contractor, so it keeps being useful later.[3]

Conductive alloy
The pack adds a recipe that turns one Conductive Alloy Block into nine Conductive Alloy Ingot. The ingots are needed for enderio:extraction_speed_upgrade_2, which is made from the first extraction speed upgrade plus two conductive alloy ingots. The pack also changed a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe so the conductive alloy honeycomb gives Conductive Alloy Nugget and wax.[3]

Conduit binder and conduits
Ender IO has conduit types for items, fluids, energy and redstone, plus AE2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism chemicals. Start with the binder: one crafting makes eight Conduit Binder Composite, and smelting or blasting a composite gives two Conduit Binder.[1][3]

How does Ender IO work?
4 parts
Ender IO is a full-featured tech mod: machines, conduits, inventory management, armor, tools and weapons all in one. The sources I have for this pack don't include the mod's guidebook, its config or its tooltips, so this section covers what can be confirmed: the conduit types, and the recipes the pack adds around the machines.[1][3]
Conduits
The mod's project page lists these conduit types: item, fluid, energy, redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism Chemicals. The page also says Ender IO is being rewritten from the ground up and that some features have not yet been ported.[1]
The conduit binder is a crafting component. In this pack it is made with its own recipe, shown below.[3]

How do you progress through Ender IO?
5 parts
Ender IO in this pack is a chain of dependencies: alloys feed capacitors and machines, machines feed the soul-based parts, and those parts unlock the later gear. Every recipe below is the one the pack uses, and many of them are pack-added or pack-changed, so don't trust a recipe you remember from the mod's defaults.[3]
Step 1: Alloys and capacitors
Most of the early chain starts with Conductive Alloy Ingot, which also exists as a Conductive Alloy Block and as Conductive Alloy Nugget. Productive Bees is another route into this tier, shown below.[3]
Centrifuge (productivebees)
Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/enderio/honeycomb_conductive_alloy
The pack-changed centrifuge recipe gives conductive alloy nuggets and wax.
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: enderio:conductive_alloy_ingot

Grains of Infinity have several in-pack sources: sieving with a diamond mesh in Ex Deorum (normal and compressed sieves), an extractor recipe in XyCraft Machines, and SAG milling cobbled deepslate, which also returns cobblestone. They show up in the basic capacitor recipe, so sort out a source early.[3]

Capacitor banks follow the same ladder. The Advanced Capacitor Bank has two recipes: a fresh craft, and an upgrade from a Basic Capacitor Bank. The Double-Layer Capacitor appears in both, and both are shown here.[3]

Step 2: The alloy smelter
The Alloy Smelter is a crafted machine in this pack, and the Void Chassis is part of its recipe below. Once you have it, you can run the pack's alloy smelting recipes: Clear Glass, enderio:clayed_glowstone, enderio:industrial_insulation_block, enderio:cake_base and Photovoltaic Plate.[3]

Recipe id: enderio:alloy_smelting/clear_glass
Clear glass is made in the alloy smelter.
Glass has its own mini-ladder. Clear glass can be turned into Dark Clear Glass with 4 amethyst gems, and an Animal Token turns clear glass into 8 Clear Glass A. Used on clear glass D, it makes 8 Clear Glass Da.[3]
Step 3: Soul tier
Soul binding is where the later parts come from. The pack has soul-binding recipes for the Animal Token, the Ender Crystal and the Broken Spawner.[3]
The animal token is soul-bound from a Soularium Grinding Ball.
Soul Binding (enderio)
- any vibrant crystal gem
Recipe id: enderio:soulbinding/ender_crystal
The ender crystal is also made by soul binding.
The slicing recipes for the logic parts all use soularium ingots and silicon. These are the Z-Logic Controller, the Skeletal Contractor and the Ender Resonator. The resonator also needs a vibrant alloy ingot, which puts it above the controller in the chain.[3]
Slicing (enderio)

One of the furthest items in this chain. It is built from a broken spawner, an ensouled chassis and a Z-logic controller, among other things.
Conduits
The pack adds conduit recipes that tie into other mods. Combining a Conduit Binder with a Mekanism advanced pressurized tube gives 3 Conduit Bundle, and the same binder with an AE2 covered cable also gives 3. A separate recipe turns Mekanism reinforced alloy into 8 conduit. See Mekanism and Applied Energistics 2 for those parts.[3]
Conduit binder composite is crafted in batches of 8, and either smelting or blasting a composite gives 2 Conduit Binder.[3]

Upgrades and filters
The extraction speed upgrades climb with your materials. Upgrade 1 to 2 is a conductive alloy step, and 2 to 3 is a soularium step. That means upgrade 3 waits until you have soularium.[3]
Crafting Shapeless

Filters start cheap and end up needing the Z-Logic Controller. The enderio:basic_filter and enderio:entity_filter are the cheaper ones, and the enderio:advanced_filter is the one that depends on the controller. The pack also lets you switch between the redstone AND and NAND filters with extra crafts.[3]

Filters rest on enderio:black_paper; the advanced one is where the Z-logic controller comes in.
How does Ender IO work with other mods?
6 parts
In this pack, Ender IO items connect to other mods through recipes the pack added or changed, so don't assume they work like the mod's defaults. Here is where Ender IO shows up alongside other mods.[3]
Mekanism conduits
The pack adds recipes that turn Mekanism transport pieces into Conduit Bundle. Basic, advanced and elite pressurized tubes, plus the advanced thermodynamic conductor, each have a recipe that also uses Conduit Binder. Separate recipes use Mekanism's Infused Alloy and Reinforced Alloy directly to make the conduit.[3]

Ex Deorum sieves
You can get Grains of Infinity from Ex Deorum sieves in this pack. You sift Dust with a mesh, and the pack changed these recipes. There is a recipe for each of the string, flint, iron, golden, diamond and netherite meshes. The compressed sieve has matching recipes that accept any compressed dust.[3]

Productive Bees
The pack changed Productive Bees centrifuge recipes so they output Ender IO materials alongside Wax. There are recipes for the conductive, copper, energetic, pulsating, redstone and vibrant alloys, plus dark steel, end steel and soularium, and each outputs the matching nugget. The infinity recipe outputs Grains of Infinity.[3]
Centrifuge (productivebees)
Recipe id: productivebees:centrifuge/enderio/honeycomb_infinity
All the Compressed
Ender IO's conductive, copper, dark steel, end steel, energetic, pulsating, redstone and vibrant alloy blocks, plus the soularium block, all have compressed versions. The pack changed both the compress and decompress recipes for them. For example, Dark Steel Block becomes Dark Steel Block 1x.[3]

Which Ender IO config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 2.11 guide
There's nothing to tune here. The pack ships no config files for this mod, so every option runs at whatever the mod itself defaults to, and nothing has been changed for this pack.[1]
That also means you don't need to touch anything before you start building machines and conduits. Energy, item, fluid, redstone, Applied Energistics 2 ME, Refined Storage and Mekanism chemical conduits are all present in the version bundled here, as are the machines, armor, weapons, tools, enchantments and decorative blocks.[1]
Unverified Any in-game config screen this mod may expose has not been checked against the pack, so treat anything you find there as mod defaults rather than pack-tuned values.
What changed in Ender IO between versions?
1 part
All the Mods 10: To the Sky 1.0.2 ships Ender IO 7.1.8-alpha. The mod was already in the pack as of version 1.0 or earlier.[2]
Ender IO 7.1.8-alpha
The mod's changelog lists these bug fixes for this build:[4]
- Powered machines were not updating their state correctly, and that is fixed.[4]
- A port fix for loading large conduit networks from 1.20.1.[4]
- An update to the beta release of Refined Storage.[4]
The changelog also has an update dated 28/08/2025: this build is now marked as a beta. If you want stability, the developers say to prefer it over the incoming 8.0 alphas.[4]
Unverified Pack changelog notes for Ender IO were not available, so any changes made to the mod between pack releases are unverified.
