What is AllTheTweaks?

AllTheTweaks is the mod that holds the items for the pack's big end-game goal, the ATM Star. This pack ships AllTheTweaks 2.9.1 for Minecraft 1.21.1, and it has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier.[1][2]
Where it fits in progression
The sources show the mod's role on the ATM Star path in the quest chapter "Chapter 4: The ATM Star". The final quest, "&#FFDA59ATM Star" quest, asks you to hand in the ATM Star. Its text reads "Well, you got it. I wanna say I was skeptical but you got it."[2]
Before that quest unlocks, you have to finish a group of quests that each ask for one AllTheTweaks item. Alongside many other prerequisite quests, these are the ones that involve this mod:[2]

How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?

Everything AllTheTweaks adds to this pack leads to one goal: the ATM Star. The quest book puts the star in Chapter 4, and this section follows the road to it so you can plan your parts early.[2][4]
The "&#FFDA59ATM Star" quest quest unlocks only after a long list of earlier quests. Seven of those are for the components below.[2]
The goal: the ATM Star
The pack adds its own recipe for the star. It is an Extended Crafting table recipe that needs all seven components plus a few other ingredients, so everything else in this section feeds into it.[4]

The pack also adds a second recipe for the ATM Star. It uses an ATM Star Shard and a Patrick Star instead of the seven components.[4]

After the star
Chapter 5 (Creative Items) has the quest "Beginning Of The End" quest for the star, followed by a quest for the ATM Star Block, described as "Subtle flex that has a use". You can compress stars into a block and turn a block back into a star.[3][4]

How does AllTheTweaks work?

The sources for AllTheTweaks show a small config file and a set of crafting recipes for its items. They don't show any machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling, or automation hooks, so there are no machine mechanics to explain here. This section covers what the sources do confirm.[4][5]
Pack mode and config
The mod's config file has a pack mode setting, packmode.enable. The mod default is 0, but the pack changes it to 2. The file's own comment lists the modes as ATM = 0, SLOP = 1, SKY = 2, MAGIC = 3, EXPERT = 4, GRAVITAS = 5 and LITE = 6, so this pack runs mode 2, which the comment labels SKY. The accepted range is 0 to 6.[5]
discord.discord is set to true, which the file describes as enabling Discord Rich Presence.[5]
The pack's version fields are packversionmaj.major = 1, packversionmin.minor = 0 and packversionminrev.minorrev = 0. These match the mod defaults, and each accepts values from 0 to 32,768. The file only describes them as release version, minor version and minor version revision numbers. It doesn't say what else they affect.[5]
Getting the ATM Star
The big goal item from this mod is the ATM Star. The pack adds its recipes as Extended Crafting shaped table recipes. There are two routes. The main recipe is a large one built from components that the pack also adds recipes for (see the list below).[4]

Storage blocks
The mod has compact storage blocks for stars and pearls: ATM Star Block, GregStar Block, Nether Star Block and Ender Pearl Block. The mod's own recipes craft each block from its matching item tag. The ATM Star and the GregStar can also be recovered from their blocks.[4]

How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?

AllTheTweaks is all about one goal in this pack: building the ATM Star. The pack's quests lay out the route in Chapter 4, "The ATM Star". You craft a set of component items, each with its own quest, and then hand in the ATM Star itself for the final quest of the chapter.[2]
Step 1: The component items
Each component has a quest that asks you to obtain it. These are the quests that lead into the ATM Star quest, and each one has its own list of earlier quests in the chapter that come before it.[2]

The ATM Star is crafted at an Extended Crafting table, using a recipe the pack added. It needs the Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium blocks, an Ultimate Singularity and each of the AllTheTweaks components shown in the recipe below.[4]

Creative versions of other mods' items
The ATM Star is also the key to creative items from other mods. In each case the pack added the recipe.[3][4]
- Powah energizing recipes make Creative Energy Cell, Creative Capacitor, Creative Power Source, Creative Energy Battery and Energy Cell (Creative).[4]
- Creative Source Jar is made at an Ars Nouveau enchanting apparatus.[4]
- Creative Compressed Iron Block and Creative Compressor are made in the PneumaticCraft pressure chamber.[4]
- Creative Chemical Tank and Creative Fluid Tank use the ATM Star Block instead of the star itself.[4]
- Jetpack has a creative recipe that uses the ATM Star.[4]

Which AllTheTweaks config options matter?

AllTheTweaks keeps its options in config/allthetweaks-common.toml. In this pack, one value differs from the mod default, and it's the one that matters most.[5]
Pack mode
packmode.enable is set to 2 in this pack. The mod default is 0, so the pack changed it. The accepted range is 0 to 6, and the file's own comment gives the mapping: ATM = 0, SLOP = 1, SKY = 2, MAGIC = 3, EXPERT = 4, GRAVITAS = 5, LITE = 6. So a value of 2 means SKY.[5]
