What is AllTheTweaks?
AllTheTweaks is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 2.8.3 of it, built for Minecraft 1.21.1.[1]
It has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier, so it is not a recent addition.[1]
How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?

In this pack, AllTheTweaks is about a handful of special items, and the one that matters most is the ATM Star. This page walks through what to make first, in the order the crafts build on each other. Everything here comes from the pack's recipe data.[2]
Storage blocks first

The ATM Star
The ATM Star is the item the rest of the mod revolves around. The pack gives it two Extended Crafting table recipes, both added by the pack.[2]
Shorter route: Patrick Star and shards
This route combines an ATM Star Shard with a Patrick Star. Start with the Patrick Star, which is crafted at an Extended Crafting table from several concrete and concrete powder colors.[2]

The pack also changed a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe so it gives you a Patrick Star along with wax. Another changed centrifuge recipe gives you an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard. The recipe dump lists no item inputs for either of these two.[2]

The longer route skips the shards and goes through custom AllTheTweaks items that each have their own pack recipe: Dragon Soul, Improbable Probability Device, Nexium Emitter, Oblivion Shard, Philosopher's Fuel, Pulsating Black Hole and Wither's Compass. Storing and converting stars
Once you have ATM Stars, you can pack them into an ATM Star Block and turn the block back into an ATM Star later. The same pattern exists for the GregStar and its GregStar Block.[2]

How does AllTheTweaks work?

Heads up: AllTheTweaks isn't a machine mod. The sources I have show no machines, multiblocks, power, fluid or item-handling systems for it. What they do show is a small config file, some compressed storage blocks, and the chain of recipes that leads to the ATM Star. That's what this section covers.[2][3]
Pack mode and config
The main setting is packmode.enable. The pack sets it to 2, while the mod default is 0, and it accepts values from 0 to 6. The file's own comment maps the numbers to ATM = 0, SLOP = 1, SKY = 2, MAGIC = 3, EXPERT = 4, GRAVITAS = 5 and LITE = 6. So the pack runs the SKY mode.[3]
discord.discord is true, which enables Discord Rich Presence. The pack version is split across packversionmaj.major, packversionmin.minor and packversionminrev.minorrev. They currently read 1, 0 and 0, which match the mod defaults, so don't rely on them to tell you which pack version you're on.[3]
Storage blocks
The mod adds block versions of some well-known items: Nether Star Block, Ender Pearl Block, ATM Star Block and GregStar Block. Each one is a normal shaped crafting recipe that accepts any item from the matching tag, such as any nether star or any ender pearl. Here are the nether star and ender pearl versions.[2]

The ATM Star chain
The ATM Star is the big goal item here. The pack adds Extended Crafting shaped table recipes for it. One is the full build, which uses a set of AllTheTweaks components plus several items from other mods.[2]

How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?

Unverified The sources here do not show any quest for this mod, and it is not on the ATM Star quest path, so there is no quest-guided tier order to follow. The progression below follows the in-pack recipes only.
The mod's progression is really one big climb toward the ATM Star. The pack gives you a long route and a short route to make it, and both use the Extended Crafting shaped table. Both recipes are added by the pack, so you won't find them in the mod's defaults.[2]
The full-component recipe
This is the hardcore route. The table recipe takes a set of crafted components from this mod, plus Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium blocks and an Ultimate Singularity. Here is the top-level recipe, followed by each component's own recipe.[2]

Shards also come from crushing an ATM Star in Mekanism, using a recipe the pack changed. That only helps once you already own a star, so it won't get you your first one.[2]

How does AllTheTweaks work with other mods?

AllTheTweaks is mostly a hub for pack-specific items, and nearly all of its links to other mods come from recipes the pack added or changed. The big idea is that the ATM Star is built from parts that come from many different mods, and then it is spent again to make creative versions of items from those same mods.[2]
Building the ATM Star from other mods
The ATM Star is made at an Extended Crafting table. It needs the Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium blocks, an Ultimate Singularity, and a set of AllTheTweaks components. Here is the recipe the pack uses.[2]

Each of those components is crafted with items from a different group of mods, and all of their recipes are added by the pack. The Dragon Soul pulls in Actually Additions, Ars Nouveau, Draconic Evolution, Mystical Agriculture Additions, Occultism and Productive Bees items. The Improbable Probability Device mixes Ender IO, MEGA Cells, Mekanism, Oritech and RFTools Utility parts.[2]

The Nexium Emitter is a logistics-and-tech mix: AE2, AE2 Wireless Universal Terminal, Create, Mekanism, Oritech, Powah and XNet items go into it. The Oblivion Shard combines Advanced AE, AE2, Just Dire Things and Oritech items.[2]

Creative items made with the ATM Star
Once you have an ATM Star, other mods' creative items become craftable. These recipes are all added by the pack. Several of them are Powah energizing recipes.[2]
- Creative Energy Cell (AE2), through energizing.[2]
- Creative Capacitor and Creative Power Source (Draconic Evolution), both through energizing.[2]
- Creative Energy Battery (Integrated Dynamics), through energizing.[2]
- Creative Energy Cube (Mekanism) and Energy Cell (Creative) (Powah), also through energizing.[2]
- Creative Source Jar (Ars Nouveau), made at the enchanting apparatus.[2]
- Creative Compressed Iron Block and Creative Compressor (PneumaticCraft), both made in the pressure chamber.[2]
- Creative Spell Book (AllTheArcanistGear), crafted with an Unobtainium Spell Book plus Ars Nouveau and Occultism items.[2]
- An Iron Jetpacks jetpack (the recipe id calls it the creative jetpack), crafted with Unobtainium and Mystical Agriculture Additions items.[2]
The ATM Star Block and the ATM Star Shard also feed other mods. The block is used for Mekanism's creative tanks, and the shard for Railcraft's locomotive and Functional Storage's upgrade.[2]

Star blocks and All the Compressed
All the Compressed can compress and decompress several AllTheTweaks blocks. The ATM Star Block, GregStar Block and Nether Star Block each have a 1x counterpart, and the Ender Pearl Block 1x can be turned back into an Ender Pearl Block. The pack changed all of these recipes. Here are two of them.[2]

Nether Star Block and the Netherstar Generator
A Nether Star Block is the key to the Netherstar Generator from Generator Galore. The pack added this recipe.[2]

Productive Bees
Productive Bees has several recipes the pack changed to include AllTheTweaks items. One is the bee conversion that produces the starry bee. Two centrifuge recipes have no item inputs: one outputs a Patrick Star and Wax, the other an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard.[2]

Which AllTheTweaks config options matter?

The config file for this mod is small, and the only option the pack changed from the mod default is the pack mode. All of the options live in the common config file.[3]
Pack mode
packmode.enable is the one the pack changed. The mod default is 0, but this pack sets it to 2. The accepted range is 0 to 6.[3]
The config file's own comment maps the numbers to modes: 0 is ATM, 1 is SLOP, 2 is SKY, 3 is MAGIC, 4 is EXPERT, 5 is GRAVITAS and 6 is LITE. So the value 2 means this pack runs in SKY mode instead of the default ATM mode.[3]
Discord Rich Presence
discord.discord is set to true in this pack. Its comment in the file says it enables Discord Rich Presence.[3]
Version fields
The pack's version numbers are stored in packversionmaj.major, packversionmin.minor and packversionminrev.minorrev. The pack sets them to 1, 0 and 0, which are the same as the mod defaults. Each accepts values from 0 to 32,768.[3]
