Mystical Agradditions in All the Mods 10: To the Sky

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture that pushes it past the usual tiers. Its headline feature is Tier 6 essence, Insanium, plus Tier 6 crops for high-end materials. It also adds Paxels (a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool), Tinkers' Construct integration, and Essence Coal, which can cook more items than regular Coal.^[1]

This pack ships version 8.0.14 of the mod.^[2]

Who it's for and where it fits

This mod is for you once you've worked through the Mystical Agriculture essence tiers up to Supremium and want to go further. In the pack's Mystical Agriculture quest chapter, the Insanium quest (Tier 6) comes right after Supremium. It asks for Insanium Essence, which the quest says is made by combining 4 Supremium with an Infusion Crystal.^[3]

Tier 6 seeds need special farmland. The Insanium Farmland quest asks for Insanium Farmland, and seeds of this tier only grow with a crux of the same type placed below the farmland. The quests pair Awakened Draconium seeds with the Awakened Draconium Crux and Dragon Egg seeds with the Dragon Egg Crux. Both are tracked as Tier 6 and unlock after Insanium Farmland and the Infusion Altar.^[3]

The pack's tool quests accept this mod's Paxels alongside the regular Mystical Agriculture tools, for example the Inferium Paxel and the Supremium Paxel. There is also an Awakened Supremium tools quest that accepts the Awakened Supremium Paxel.^[3]

The mod's apples work as a ladder of buffs. The Inferium Apple gives Absorption II for 3:00, and each higher tier adds another effect. The Insanium Apple gives Absorption II, Speed II, Resistance II, Regeneration II, Strength II and Haste II, all for 3:00.^[3]

The ATM Star path

This mod shows up in Chapter 4: The ATM Star. One quest there asks for an Insanium Coal Block and unlocks after the Insanium quest, the Tier 6 essence quest from the Mystical Agriculture chapter. Another quest in the same chapter asks for a Dragon Scale.^[3][4]

This mod is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It brings in the Tier 6 essence, Insanium, plus Tier 6 crops, Paxels and Essence Coal. Here is a sensible order to tackle it in, following where the pack's quest book places things.^[1][3]

Step 1: Paxels and apples from the lower tiers

Paxels combine a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel in a single tool. The pack changed the Paxel recipes, so go by the block below. The Inferium Tools quest accepts the Inferium Paxel as one of its tasks.^[1][3][5]

The tiered apples are the other early win. Each tier adds a new positive effect: the Inferium Apple gives Absorption II (3:00), and by the Insanium Apple you also get Haste II (3:00) on top of the earlier effects.^[3][6]

Step 3: Insanium Farmland

The Insanium Farmland quest comes after the Insanium quest. It says that for seeds of this tier, you need a crux of the same type placed below the farmland in order for the seeds to grow. Make Insanium Farmland first.^[3]

Step 4: The cruxes

The pack's quests pair three Tier 6 seeds with their cruxes: Nether Star, Dragon Egg and Awakened Draconium. Each of these quests comes after Insanium Farmland and Infusion Altar. The three crux recipes are all changed by the pack, so check them before you start gathering.^[3][5]

Plan ahead for the boss fights. Dragon Scale is dropped by the Ender Dragon upon death, and Withering Soul is dropped by the Wither upon death.^[5][7]

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It adds Tier 6 crops, paxels, Essence Coal and Tinkers' Construct integration, and nearly everything in it is about growing those crops and making the items around them.^[1]

Insanium and Tier 6 crops

Insanium Essence is an extra tier of essence above Supremium, and you use it to create Tier 6 Crops. These crops behave differently from the lower tiers. They need a Crux below the farmland to grow, and they never drop a second seed when harvested.^[7]

They also usually can't be grown with Mystical Fertilizer or Fertilized Essence, so don't count on speeding them up that way.^[7]

The pack changed how Insanium Essence is crafted, so use the recipe below rather than what you remember from the mod's defaults.^[5]

Cruxes

A Crux is a block you place under a Tier 6 Crop so that it can grow. The language file lists the Awakened Draconium Crux, Dragon Egg Crux, Gaia Spirit Crux, Nether Star Crux, Neutronium Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux.^[7]

The mod's project page names the matching resources as Nether Star and Dragon Egg from vanilla, Gaia Spirit from Botania, Awakened Draconium from Draconic Evolution, Neutronium from Avaritia and Nitro Crystal from Powah. That list was last updated for mod version 7.0.2, so check it against what you actually see in this pack.^[1]

The pack changes the recipes for these Cruxes: Awakened Draconium Crux, Dragon Egg Crux and Nether Star Crux.^[5]

Imperium Apple can be crafted normally, and the pack also gives it a casting route that uses 720 Molten Imperium plus a golden apple. The pack changed that casting recipe. Melting an Imperium Block, which the pack also changed, gives 810 Molten Imperium, so one block's worth of liquid covers one apple with some left over.^[5]

The mod also adds Nether and End variants of the Prosperity and Inferium ores. The Nether ones usually spawn at all Y levels in the Nether, and the End ones usually spawn at all Y levels in the End.^[7]

Mystical Agradditions covers the top of the essence ladder in this pack. The quest book hangs apple and tool quests off the Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium essence quests, then Insanium comes after Supremium and the quests mark it as Tier 6. From there the quests move on to Insanium farmland and the crux items for the endgame seeds.^[3]

Tier by tier: apples and buffs

Every tier has its own apple quest, and each apple stacks one more buff on top of the previous one. The Food and Farming chapter sums it up: each tier gives a new positive effect. All the effects listed in the quests last 3:00.^[3][6]

Tools and paxels

Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium each have a tools quest. The Inferium one explains that you start with Inferium Essence to make ingots for tools and armor, that essence tools can be upgraded to higher tiers, and that they can be augmented in the Tinkering Table. The paxel counts as one of the accepted items in these quests, for example in "Inferium Tools" quest and "Supremium Tools" quest.^[3]

Insanium farmland and the crux items

The tiered apples are one place where the pack's quests show this mod at work. Each tier gives a new positive effect, from Inferium Apple (Absorption II for 3:00) up to Insanium Apple, which adds Haste II on top of the earlier buffs. Productive Metalworks

This mod supplies the molten fluids, such as Molten Supremium, that Productive Metalworks uses. In this pack, essences and blocks from Inferium to Supremium can be melted into their molten fluid, and the fluid can be cast back into essence, blocks or ingots. Ingot casting also needs a Prosperity Ingot. Casting Inferium Seeds uses vanilla wheat seeds.^[5]

Productive Bees

Insanium has its own bee, made with the pack's changed infusion recipe shown below. The Insanium Bee quest asks for the Insanium Block. The pack also changed centrifuge recipes, shown after the bee recipe: the insanium honeycomb gives Insanium Essence and Wax, and the starry honeycomb gives an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard.^[5][8]

Insanium Essence is this mod's link to the pack's creative jetpack, a recipe that also features the ATM Star and the Block of Unobtainium. The Dragon Scale is used in the Dragon Soul recipe, and the Insanium Coal Block in the Philosopher's Fuel recipe. The Chapter 4 quests for the ATM Star ask for both the Dragon Scale and the Insanium Coal Block.^[4][5]

Four quest chapters in the pack touch this mod. Most of the action is in the Mystical Agriculture chapter, where each essence tier unlocks an apple quest and a tools quest. Chapter 4: The ATM Star, Food and Farming and Productive Bees each add one or two extra quests.^[3][4][6][8]

Mystical Agriculture chapter

The chapter follows the essence tiers. Each tier's apple quest and tools quest unlock after the quest for that tier's essence. Every apple quest asks you to hand in the apple itself, and every tools quest accepts any one tool from a long list that includes the tier's paxel.^[3]

1. Inferium: "Inferium Apple" quest wants the Inferium Apple, which gives Absorption II for 3:00. "Inferium Tools" quest accepts any Inferium tool, including the Inferium Paxel.^[3]
2. Prudentium: "Prudentium Tools" quest accepts any Prudentium tool, including the Prudentium Paxel. "Prudentium Apple" quest wants the Prudentium Apple, which adds Speed II to Absorption II (both 3:00).^[3]
3. Tertium: "Tertium Tools" quest accepts any Tertium tool, including the Tertium Paxel. "Tertium Apple" quest wants the Tertium Apple, which adds Resistance II.^[3]
4. Imperium: "Imperium Apple" quest wants the Imperium Apple, which adds Regeneration II. "Imperium Tools" quest accepts any Imperium tool, including the Imperium Paxel.^[3]
5. Supremium: "Supremium Apple" quest wants the Supremium Apple, which adds Strength II. "Supremium Tools" quest accepts any Supremium tool, including the Supremium Paxel.^[3]
6. Insanium: "Insanium" quest is a Tier 6 quest that unlocks after Supremium and asks for Insanium Essence.^[3]

Once you have Insanium, two quests open up. "Insanium Apple" quest wants the Insanium Apple, the top apple, which adds Haste II to the earlier buffs (all 3:00). "Insanium Farmland" quest wants the Insanium Farmland.^[3]

Crux quests and Awakened tools

Three untitled Tier 6 quests unlock after both Insanium Farmland and Infusion Altar. Each asks for a seed and its matching crux: a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" wants Awakened Draconium seeds and the Awakened Draconium Crux, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" wants Dragon Egg seeds and the Dragon Egg Crux, and a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" wants Nether Star seeds and the Nether Star Crux.^[3]

The last quest in the chapter, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture", unlocks after Awakened Supremium. It accepts any Awakened Supremium tool, including the Awakened Supremium Paxel.^[3]

Other chapters

• Chapter 4: The ATM Star has two quests for this mod. a quest in "Chapter 4: The ATM Star" asks for the Dragon Scale and lists no prerequisite. a quest in "Chapter 4: The ATM Star" asks for the Insanium Coal Block and unlocks after Insanium.^[4]
• Food and Farming has "MA Apples" quest, which unlocks after the "Notch" apple quest. It accepts any of the six tiered apples, from Inferium through Insanium. Its text says each tier gives a new positive effect.^[6]
• Productive Bees has "Insanium Bee" quest, tagged Infusion Crafting. It asks for a configurable honeycomb, configurable comb, configurable bee spawn egg, bee cage or sturdy bee cage, plus an Insanium Block.^[8]

All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 ships Mystical Agradditions 8.0.14 for Minecraft 1.21.1. The mod has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier, so you've had it from the start. Here's what the mod's own changelogs say for the releases we have notes on.^[2]

Gameplay fixes

• 8.0.8: Fixed Nether ores not generating. If you were hunting for them in older builds, this is the release that fixed it.^[9]
• 8.0.8: Fixed the Neutronium seed, essence and crux recipes. The fix supports both Avaritia Lite and Re:Avaritia.^[9]
• 8.0.9: Fixed the Awakened Draconium Seed recipes.^[10]

Translation updates

Every release after 8.0.9 that we have notes for only updated translations. Nothing about gameplay changed in them.^{[11][12][13][14]}
