What is AllTheTweaks?
AllTheTweaks is part of the pack's mod list. This pack ships version 2.6.6 of it, built for Minecraft 1.21.1.[1]
It has been in the pack since 1.0 or earlier, so it is not a recent addition. The sources I have for this mod only cover its version and how long it has been included, so this page stops there.[1]
How do you get started with AllTheTweaks?

Here's the big picture for this mod: the pack's recipes for AllTheTweaks items all point at one goal, the ATM Star. This page follows the pack's recipes, so you can plan your materials and see what feeds into what.[2]
Step 1: Know the goal
The ATM Star is made on an Extended Crafting table, not in a normal crafting grid. The pack added this recipe. It takes Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium blocks, an Ultimate Singularity, and a set of AllTheTweaks components that you make first.[2]

Step 3: Craft the ATM Star
Once you have every component, take them to the Extended Crafting table and use the recipe shown in Step 1.[2]
Step 4: Storage and shards
After the ATM Star, you can compress it into an ATM Star Block and turn the block back into stars.[2]

The pack also changed the Mekanism crushing recipe that turns an ATM Star into an ATM Star Shard. It takes the star as its input, so crush one only if you mean to.[2]

The mod has the same kind of block recipes for the GregStar Block, Nether Star Block and Ender Pearl Block. The pack also changed the AllTheCompressed recipes that unpack the 1x compressed versions into these blocks.[2]
The pack also changed two Productive Bees centrifuge recipes. One gives a Patrick Star and the other gives an ATM Star Shard. The recipe dump lists no item inputs for either.[2]
How does AllTheTweaks work?

Here's the honest picture: in this pack, AllTheTweaks doesn't show up as a machine mod. The sources I have don't describe any machines, multiblocks, power or fluid handling, or automation for it. What they do show is a small config file, a few storage-block recipes, and the long crafting chain for the ATM Star. That's what this section covers.[2][3]
Pack mode setting
The one gameplay-facing option in the config is packmode.enable. The mod's default is 0, but the pack changes it to 2. The file's comment lists the modes as ATM = 0, SLOP = 1, SKY = 2, MAGIC = 3, EXPERT = 4, GRAVITAS = 5 and LITE = 6, so the pack runs in SKY mode. The allowed range is 0 to 6.[3]
discord.discord is set to true and controls Discord Rich Presence. The pack version is stored in packversionmaj.major (1), packversionmin.minor (0) and packversionminrev.minorrev (0). Those values match the mod's defaults, and each option accepts values from 0 to 32,768.[3]
The ATM Star crafting chain
The big thing you'll actually work toward is the ATM Star. The pack adds its recipe as an Extended Crafting shaped table recipe. Besides blocks of Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium and an Ultimate Singularity, it needs a set of intermediate items, and each of those has its own recipe added by the pack.[2]

Turning the ATM Star into shards
The pack changes how the ATM Star Shard is made. It comes from a Mekanism crushing recipe that takes the ATM Star as its input.[2]

Storage blocks
The mod also adds compact storage blocks: ATM Star Block, GregStar Block, Nether Star Block and Ender Pearl Block. Each one has a shaped crafting recipe that accepts items from a matching tag. How do you progress through AllTheTweaks?

In this pack, AllTheTweaks progression is a crafting chain that ends in the ATM Star. This section follows it from the components up to the star, then covers what you can do with the star afterwards.[2]

The pack added seven components to the chain: the Dragon Soul, the Improbable Probability Device, the Nexium Emitter, the Oblivion Shard, the Philosopher's Fuel, the Pulsating Black Hole and the Wither's Compass. Each one is shown below in that order, exactly as it is in this pack.[2]

Step 2: the ATM Star
The ATM Star is crafted on an Extended Crafting shaped table, using a recipe the pack added. It takes all seven components above, plus an Allthemodium Block, an Unobtainium Block, a Vibranium Block and an Ultimate Singularity, so this is the final step of the chain.[2]

After the star
Crushing the star in a Mekanism crusher gives you an ATM Star Shard. The pack changed this recipe from the mod's default.[2]

How does AllTheTweaks work with other mods?

AllTheTweaks is mostly a crossover mod in this pack. Its items are crafted from items out of many other mods, and the pack's recipes also feed them back into other mods' machines and storage blocks. Everything below comes from the pack's own recipes.[2]
The ATM Star and its components
The ATM Star is crafted in an Extended Crafting shaped table, using a recipe the pack added. It ties together the Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium blocks, an Extended Crafting Ultimate Singularity, and a set of AllTheTweaks components. Those components are where most of the cross-mod crafting happens.[2]

- Improbable Probability Device combines parts from Ender IO, MEGA Cells, Mekanism, Oritech and RFTools Utility.[2]
- Nexium Emitter mixes AE2, AE2 Wireless Terminals, Create, Mekanism, Oritech, Powah and XNet items.[2]
- Oblivion Shard uses AE2, Just Dire Things and Oritech items.[2]

Generator Galore
The Nether Star Block feeds into the Netherstar Generator, through a recipe the pack added. That generator then comes back into the ATM Star chain: the Wither's Compass recipe asks for the 8x version, 8x Netherstar Generator.[2]

All the Compressed
The pack changed the recipes that convert between the AllTheTweaks star and pearl blocks and their compressed versions. Compressing is covered for the Nether Star Block, ATM Star Block and GregStar Block. Decompressing turns each of those compressed blocks back into the normal block. The Ender Pearl Block 1x also has a decompress recipe, which gives you the Ender Pearl Block.[2]

Productive Bees
Productive Bees has a few pack-changed recipes that involve AllTheTweaks items. A bee conversion recipe turns the ATM Star Block into the starry bee. Two centrifuge recipes also give out AllTheTweaks items: one produces the ATM Star Shard together with a Nether Star Shard, and the other produces the Patrick Star together with Wax.[2]

Which AllTheTweaks config options matter?

AllTheTweaks only has a small common config, so there is no long list of options to tweak. Everything lives in config/allthetweaks-common.toml, and the one value the pack actually changed is the pack mode.[3]
Pack mode
packmode.enable is the big one. The mod default is 0, but this pack changes it to 2. The allowed range is 0 to 6, and the file's comment maps the numbers like this: ATM = 0, SLOP = 1, SKY = 2, MAGIC = 3, EXPERT = 4, GRAVITAS = 5 and LITE = 6. So the pack's value of 2 matches the SKY entry in that list.[3]
Discord Rich Presence
discord.discord is set to true in this pack. According to the file's comment, it enables Discord Rich Presence.[3]
Version numbers
Three options hold the pack's release version. Each accepts a value from 0 to 32,768, and in this pack all three are left at the mod defaults, so these are not changes the pack made.[3]
