What is Just Dire Things?
2 parts
Just Dire Things is a tech mod that adds gadgets, tools and armor, and the pack includes version 1.5.7. The quest book describes it as adding some impressive and slightly overpowered gear. Its machines focus mainly on automation.[1][2][3]
Goo is where everything starts
You get the mod's materials from goo. You place a goo block, activate it by feeding it a specific item, then put an eligible block next to it. The goo spreads over that block and converts it. Higher tier goo can do everything a lower tier can, and does it faster.[4]
- Primogel Goo turns Iron into Ferricore.[5]
- Blazebloom Goo turns Gold into Blazegold.[6]
- VoidShimmer Goo turns Diamonds into Celestigem.[7]
- Shadowpulse Goo, the top tier, turns Netherite into Eclipse Alloy.[8]
Where the quest book puts it
The pack's quest book has a "Just Dire Things" chapter in the "Tech Mods" group. It is chapter 26 of 31 in the book and has 46 quests. The sources don't name the chapters on either side of it.[2]
Inside the chapter, the path begins with "Welcome to Just Dire Things!" quest, which asks you to craft Primogel Goo. Next comes "It All Starts With Goo" quest, then "Goo Transmutations" quest, where you convert Iron Blocks into Raw Ferricore and smelt it into Ferricore Ingot.[2]
After Goo Transmutations the chapter branches. Quests that unlock from it include "Tool Upgrades" quest, "Pocket Generator" quest, "Ferricore Armor" quest, the simple machines such as "Simple Block Breaker" quest, and "Creating Blazegold" quest. The tool upgrade quests come after Tool Upgrades.[2]
Creating Blazegold leads on to a quest in "Just Dire Things", "Blazegold Armor" quest, "Blazejet Wand" quest and "Making Celestigems" quest. The quest book has 12 more quests in this chapter, and their text is told there.[2]
How do you get started with Just Dire Things?
5 parts
Just Dire Things sits in the pack's quest book under the Tech Mods group, as chapter 26 of 31. Its first quest, "Welcome to Just Dire Things!", tells you to craft Primogel Goo, and everything else in the mod grows out of that.[2]
Step 1: Primogel Goo
Goo is how this mod gives you its materials. You place it in the world, it spreads onto blocks next to it and converts them over time. Primogel Goo is the first tier and only needs a few basic materials.[2][4][5]

Step 2: Turn iron into Ferricore
- Place the Primogel Goo somewhere in an open space.[2]
- Activate it by feeding it Sugar or Rotten Flesh.[2]
- Place Iron Blocks on any of its faces to start the conversion.[2]
- Wait for the goo to take over the block. You are left with Raw Ferricore Ore, and mining it gives you Raw Ferricore. You will typically get 3 or 4 raw ores, and Fortune does not work on them.[2]
- Smelt the raw ferricore into Ferricore Ingot.[2][10]
Step 3: What to make with Ferricore
Finishing the Goo Transmutations quest opens a lot of quests at once, including Ferricore Armor, Tool Upgrades, the Pocket Generator and the simple machines. The simple machines don't need power, which makes them a good fit this early.[2][11]
- Ferricore Wrench rotates machines with a right click, and Sneak + Right-click breaks them instantly. Machine Settings Copier copies settings from one machine and pastes them onto another.[2]
- Upgrade: Blank is the start of the upgrade system. Craft an upgrade, then combine it with a tool or armor piece in a Smithing Table. Hold shift over an item to see which upgrades it accepts.[2][12]
- The Ferricore Hoe turns dirt into Primogel Soil, which works a little faster than standard farmland. The pack adds its own hand-tilling recipe for it, shown below.[2][10]

Step 4: Blazegold
Once you have materials from the Nether, the "Creating Blazegold" quest moves you to Blazebloom Goo. Feed it Nether Wart or Blaze Powder, then place Blocks of Gold next to it to get Blazegold. It still makes Ferricore Ore too, and converts iron faster than Primogel Goo does.[2]
From there the quest book offers Blazegold Armor, Blazegold Tools and the Blazejet Wand, a great way to get around that comes with the Air Burst ability.[2][13]

Step 5: VoidShimmer Goo
The next tier is VoidShimmer Goo. Feed it Ender Pearls or Chorus Fruit and it turns Diamond Blocks into Celestigem. The pack has its own crafting recipe for it, shown below.[2][10]

This goo also matters for progression. The "Getting Started" chapter says you need it to produce End Stone before you can access the End.[14]
How does Just Dire Things work?
9 parts
Most of Just Dire Things is focused on automation, and most of its machines come in the same two variants, simple and advanced. Learn how those work and the rest of the mod will make a lot more sense.[3][11]
Simple and advanced machines
Most machines come in two variants. Simple versions need no power, but they can generally only affect a block or entity directly in front of them. You control how fast they run with the Speed(ticks) button.[11]
Advanced versions are much more powerful but need power. They usually cover a large area that you set in the UI, and they have filters so you decide what gets affected. They also automatically charge any Forge Energy items you place inside them.[11]
- Area: click 'Render area' to see the affected zone in the world. RAD changes the radius and OFF moves the centre of the area (the offset).[15]
- Filters: most advanced machines have a row of filter slots for items, blocks or entities. You can drag from JEI or click a slot with a stack in your hand. For entities, use a spawn egg or a Creature Catcher.[15]
- Allow vs deny: in allow mode only the listed things are affected. In deny mode everything except the listed things is affected.[15]
- Compare NBT: makes a filter stricter, for example matching enchantments, or a specific colour of sheep when you filter with a Creature Catcher.[15]
Power
Everything runs on Forge Energy (FE). The Simple Coal Generator burns normal furnace fuels, but also the mod's coal tiers: Primal Coal, Blaze Ember, Voidflame Coal and Eclipse Ember. Each tier gives more FE per tick and more total FE from the same fuel. The Simple Fuel Generator uses refined fuels instead, and there are 3 tiers of them.[18][19]
The Pocket Generator is the portable option for keeping energy tools and armor charged. Open its UI and insert coal or the mod's upgraded coals. Higher tier fuels burn hotter and longer, so you get more FE per tick. You can also feed it from a Fuel Canister.[20]
The Fuel Canister stores any fuel (coal, wood and so on) but not lava buckets. Insert fuel by shift-clicking it into the UI. The canister can then go into furnaces and generators, so you don't waste a whole piece of coal on one ore. There is no way to get the fuel back out. When you insert this mod's fuel, its fuel multiplier is averaged with what is already inside, and the tooltip shows the multiplier you will get.[21]
To send power around wirelessly, connect an Energy Transmitter to a generator so its internal buffer fills. Then set its area of effect. Anything inside the area that accepts FE gets filled from the buffer, and you can filter which machines receive power. There is a small loss on the wireless transfer, which the guide says is configurable, but this pack's value can't be confirmed from the sources. Transmitters inside each other's area balance each other with no loss.[22]
The mod also has solar panels. The in-game guide lists default max FE rates of 240 (Ferricore, Overworld in daytime with sky access), 960 (Blazegold, Nether), 3,840 (Celestigem) and 11,520 (Eclipse Alloy). It also warns that everything can be changed in configs, and there are no config files for this mod in the pack to check. Treat these as mod defaults, not confirmed pack values.[23]
How the pack treats the refined fuels
The pack runs a fuel unification script that gives liquid fuels from many mods a common fuel value. Blaze Ember Fuel is set to 7.0, Voidflame Fuel to 20.0 and Eclipse Ember Fuel to 40.0. Where those mods are installed, the script registers these fuels as liquid fuels for Actually Additions, Oritech and PneumaticCraft generators, unless that mod already covers the fluid. So these fluids can also be used outside Just Dire Things.[24]
Fluids
The Fluid Canister holds up to 8 buckets and works like a bucket. Shift right-click cycles its auto-fill setting between 'None', Just Dire Things items only, and 'ALL', which fills every fluid holder including ones from other mods.[25]
The Simple Fluid Collector picks up any fluid in front of it into an internal buffer that holds only 1 fluid at a time. The Advanced version covers a larger area and filters by fluid when you put a bucket of that fluid in a filter slot. The Simple Fluid Placer places a fluid only if it has more than 1,000mb and nothing is in front of it. The Advanced Fluid Placer covers a larger area and filters which blocks it places onto.[10][26][27][28][29]
The Experience Holder is also a fluid tank. It converts experience into XP Fluid at 20mb per experience point, and you can pipe the fluid in or out. It keeps its experience when broken.[30]
Item handling and automation
- Block Breaker: needs a tool in it, and damages the tool or uses power whenever it breaks a block, like a player would. The advanced one can filter by block or by item drop.[31][32]
- Block Placer: places the block it holds in front of it. With the advanced version, filters decide which blocks it places on, and that respects the direction setting.[33][34]
- Swapper: bind two swappers by right-clicking each with a Ferricore Wrench. They swap blocks (block entities like chests included) and/or entities between the two positions. The advanced version copies its radius setting to its partner.[17][35][36][37]
- Clicker: simulates right click, left click or hold click, with target modes such as hostile, passive, adult, child or player. The advanced version adds area and filters, so it can run a mob farm or an animal breeder.[38][39]
- Dropper: drops items in a chosen direction, with a set stack size and pickup delay. The advanced version has a 3x3 grid and uses filter order as the drop order.[40][41]
- Item Collector: behaves like an advanced machine despite Tier 1 materials. It vacuums item entities in its area into the inventory it is attached to, with filters and an adjustable pickup speed.[42]
- Sensor: emits a redstone signal when its target (blocks, air, mobs, items and more) is found. The advanced version can count how many matches exist.[43][44]
- Inventory Holder: acts like a chest with a player-style inventory. Ctrl-click an item to save it as a slot filter, and the buttons control how pipes and hoppers can insert and extract.[45]
- Player Accessor: lets hoppers or pipes insert into or extract from a player's inventory. You choose which face maps to which slots, such as armor or offhand.[46]
Goo
Goo transforms blocks placed next to it. The guide describes the process in these steps.[4]
- Craft a goo block and place it in the world.[4]
- Activate it by feeding it the resource it consumes, which the goo block indicates.[4]
- Place an eligible block next to the activated goo to start the transformation.[4]
After a transformation there is a 10% chance the goo needs reactivating with another item. While inactive it can't start new transformations, but ongoing ones finish. Higher tier goo can do everything lower tiers can, and is much faster. The tiers turn Iron into Ferricore (Primogel), Gold into Blazegold (Blazebloom Goo), Diamonds into Celestigem (VoidShimmer Goo) and Netherite into Eclipse Alloy (Shadowpulse).[4][5][6][7][8]
This pack adds its own recipe for VoidShimmer Goo, shown below.[10]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: ftb:shaped/justdirethings/gooblock_tier3
The pack also adds a hand-tilling recipe: two dirt and a Ferricore Hoe make 2 Primogel Soil, and the hoe takes 1 damage. It adds matching recipes for the next two soil tiers using Blazegold and Celestigem hoes.[47]

Time and Time Fluid
The Time Crystal drives the mod's time machines. The Time Wand needs both Forge Energy and Time Fluid. Right click a ticking block, such as a furnace or crops, to make it run twice as fast, then 4x, then 8x with each further click. Each step costs both FE and Time Fluid, and the effect lasts 30 seconds.[48]
This pack lets you make Time Fluid in several ways. Create mixing and a Modern Industrialization mixer both turn Polymorphic Fluid and a Time Crystal into Time Fluid. There is also a Create recipe that makes it straight from water using a Polymorphic Catalyst and a Time Crystal. The Just Dyna Things Paradox Mixer has its own recipe for Time Fluid from Polymorphic Fluid.[10]
Mixing (create)
Recipe id: ftb:create/mixing/justdirethings/time_fluid_from_water
The Paradox Machine snapshots an area, recording the raw ore blocks and entities in it. After you clear the area it can restore them, but it needs a lot of both power and Time Fluid. Overuse builds up Paradox energy, shown on its UI. The restored entities may not be exactly identical to the originals.[49]
The Advanced Coke Oven multiblock
The pack adds a Modern Industrialization multiblock called the Advanced Coke Oven. It is a 3x3x3 build of bricks, with a magma block as the fire and iron bars. Its coke brick casing is Primal Coal Block, the Primal Coal Block, standing in for the Immersive Engineering coke brick. Brick spots in the shape can take item input, item output, energy input and fluid output hatches. Its recipe type takes both item and fluid inputs and outputs.[17][50][51]
Just Dyna Things extras
The Just Dyna Things addon adds more machines on top of the mod. Some of its guide entries are short on detail.[52]
- Stabilizer: revives any goo on top of it using Forge Energy, and can keep a Paradox Mixer alive.[53]
- Paradox Mixer: mass-crafts fluid drop recipes, and needs at least one energized Stabilizer.[54]
- Ticker Block: speeds up blocks to 16x the normal tick rate.[55]
- Thermo Generator: makes Forge Energy from heat source blocks and a fluid coolant.[56]
- Reforger: converts an input block placed on its red face into an output block, at the cost of a catalyst.[57]
How do you progress through Just Dire Things?
6 parts
The pack's quest book covers this mod in the "Just Dire Things" chapter, in the Tech Mods group (chapter 26 of 31, 46 quests). It opens with "Welcome to Just Dire Things!" quest, and the first thing you need to make is Primogel Goo.[2]
How goo tiers work
Everything in this mod's progression runs on goo. You craft a goo block and place it in the world. Then you activate it by feeding it a resource it can consume, and finally you put an eligible block next to it to start the conversion. After a conversion there is a 10% chance the goo needs feeding again. While it is inactive it can't start new conversions, but anything already in progress finishes. Higher tier goo can do everything a lower tier can, and does it faster.[4]
Tier 1: Primogel Goo and Ferricore
"It All Starts With Goo" quest has you craft Primogel Goo. Here is the recipe:[2][10]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: justdirethings:gooblock_tier1
In "Goo Transmutations" quest, you place the goo in an open space, activate it with Sugar or Rotten Flesh, then put Iron Blocks on its faces. When the goo finishes spreading you are left with Raw Ferricore Ore. Mining it gives Raw Ferricore, which you smelt into Ferricore Ingot. Fortune does not work on these ores, and you typically get 3 or 4 raw ores.[2]
Ferricore is what opens up the simple machines, and the quest book lists them right after Goo Transmutations. They include the Simple Block Breaker, Simple Block Placer, Simple Dropper, Simple Clicker and Simple Fluid Collector. It also lists the Ferricore Wrench and Machine Settings Copier under Useful Machine Tools, plus Ferricore armor and tools.[2]
Tilling with the Ferricore Hoe makes Primogel Soil. This pack adds its own hand tilling recipe for it, which turns dirt and the hoe into 2 soil blocks:[2][10][47]
Shapeless (kubejs)

- any dirt
Ferricore Hoe
Recipe id: ftb:justdirethings/hand_tilling/soil_1
Added by the pack. Blazebloom and VoidShimmer Soil have matching recipes (soil_2 and soil_3) using their own hoes.
Tier 2: Blazebloom Goo and Blazegold
"Creating Blazegold" quest asks you to gather materials from the Nether, then upgrade to Blazebloom Goo. You activate it with Nether Wart or Blaze Powder, and it converts Blocks of Gold into Raw Blazegold. It still makes Ferricore Ore, and it converts iron faster than Primogel does. Smelt or blast the raw metal to get Blazegold Ingot.[2][10]
Several quests branch off Creating Blazegold: "Blazegold Armor" quest, "Blazegold Tools" quest, "Blazejet Wand" quest and a quest in "Just Dire Things". The Blazegold armor pieces, such as Blazegold Boots, are made in a smithing table from the matching Ferricore piece, so they are upgrades rather than fresh crafts. Blazegold gear can be repaired by throwing it into lava. The Blazegold Hoe makes Blazebloom Soil, which grows crops faster and autoharvests them. Those items only stay in the world for about 2 seconds, so pair it with an Item Collector.[2][10]
Smithing Transform
Recipe id: justdirethings:blazegold_boots-templateupgrade
The Blazegold ingot is also the start of the fluid side of the mod. This is the Polymorphic Catalyst recipe, and you drop the catalyst into water to make Polymorphic Fluid:[2][10]
Tier 3: VoidShimmer Goo and Celestigem
"Making Celestigems" quest is where you reach VoidShimmer Goo. You activate it with Ender Pearls or Chorus Fruit, and it converts Diamond Blocks into Celestigem. Like the earlier tiers, it can still make the previous resources, only faster.[2]
This pack uses its own recipe for VoidShimmer Goo, and the Getting Started chapter ties it into the main questline. The a quest in "Getting Started" quest mentions the Sculk Shriekers needed to upgrade Blazebloom Goo into VoidShimmer Goo. The a quest in "Getting Started" quest then has you use it to make End Stone before you can reach the End.[10][14]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: ftb:shaped/justdirethings/gooblock_tier3
Added by the pack.
Celestigem armor and tools use Energy instead of durability, and are a little better than Diamond-tier. The Celestigem Hoe makes VoidShimmer Soil. At this tier you can also combine the shovel, pickaxe and axe into a paxel, which accepts the upgrades of each tool used to make it.[2][10]
Tier 4: Shadowpulse Goo and Eclipse Alloy
"Ore of the Eclipse" quest unlocks Shadowpulse Goo, which converts Netherite Blocks into Eclipse Alloy Ore. You activate it with Sculk or Sculk Catalysts, and it also converts the earlier ingot blocks at a faster rate. Eclipse Alloy is the highest tier of the mod. Its hoe makes Shadowpulse Soil, the fastest farmland, which keeps its functionality.[2]
The same quest leads on to "Eclipse Alloy Armor" quest, "Eclipse Alloy Tools" quest, "Stabilizer" quest and "Altering Time" quest. The last one uses Shadowpulse Goo to turn Budding Amethyst into Budding Time Crystal Blocks. You move those between the Overworld, Nether and End with the Advanced Swapper to grow Time Crystal.[2]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: justdirethings:blockswappert2
Time Fluid feeds into the Pina Colada, and the quest book picks this up after Altering Time. a quest in "Just Dire Things" sits after the Polymorphic Catalyst and Altering Time quests, and a quest in "Just Dire Things" comes after the Stabilizer. The Paradox Mixer uses the Time Fluid, mainly for the Pina Colada craft. The rest of that story is told in the Pina Colada chapter of the quest book.[2][58]
Mixing (create)
Recipe id: ftb:create/mixing/justdirethings/time_fluid_from_water
Added by the pack. A Modern Industrialization mixer version also exists.
Power and upgrades along the way
- The Simple Coal Generator burns the mod's coal tiers, starting with Primal Coal, for up to 960 RF/t. The Simple Fuel Generator burns the special fuels, and its top tier produces 4k RF/t.[2]
- The pack's fuel script gives the Blaze Ember, Voidflame and Eclipse Ember fuels values of 7.0, 20.0 and 40.0 in its fuel list. That is how the pack ranks them against other mods' fuels.[24]
- "Tool Upgrades" quest starts with Upgrade: Blank. You make an upgrade, then combine it with the tool or armor piece in a Smithing Table. Holding shift on an item shows which upgrades it can take, and some only apply to higher tier items.[2][9]
- Examples from the quest book: the Hammer upgrade gives a 3x3 area in a Blazegold Pickaxe, and the Flight upgrade gives creative flight in the Eclipse Alloy Chestplate.[2]
How does Just Dire Things work with other mods?
5 parts
Just Dire Things doesn't sit on its own in this pack. Its metals, gems and fluids show up in recipes from a lot of other mods, so what you make with the goo tends to unlock progress elsewhere. Here are the connections the recipes and scripts confirm.[10]
Recipes the pack changed or added
The Create Steam Engine recipe was changed by the pack and now needs Blazegold Ingot as one of its ingredients. So Blazegold is a gate you pass on the way to steam power.[10]

The pack also changed the recipe for the Gate Pearl used for the Enderman gate, and it now involves Blazegold too.[10]
Gate Recipe (gateways)

Another change: Evil Tear now takes 2 Celestigem in its recipe.[10]
The pack added its own recipe for VoidShimmer Goo, and it also changed the recipe for Goo Upgrader T2. Both bring in Sky Replica Ingot from another mod. The first recipe is shown below, and the Goo Upgrader T2 one follows it.[10]

Fluids that feed other machines
Polymorphic Fluid is the one to watch. The quest book says you make it by dropping a Polymorphic Catalyst into water (see a quest in "Just Dire Things"). Once you have it, the pack uses it in two other places: a Create mixing recipe that gives Helium, with Crude Oil as the other fluid in the mix, and a dripper recipe that gives Deepslate Replica Ore. Both are shown below.[2][10]
Dripper (ftbstuff)
Recipe id: ftb:ftbstuff/dripper/deepslate_replica_ore
Added by the pack.
Time fluid has a use outside the mod too. A Shiny Stone and 10,000 of Time Fluid Source make a Sweetheart Necklace, and you can do it in either an Advanced AE reaction chamber or a Modern Industrialization mixer.[10]
The Blaze Ember fuel (Refined T2 Fluid Source) can be refined as well, in an Oritech refinery or a PneumaticCraft refinery. Both give Liquid Ethene, Acetylene and Toluene, and the PneumaticCraft one also gives Liquid Hydrogen. Both recipes are shown below.[10]

Blocks and upgrades used elsewhere
- An Excessive Utilities resonator turns a Ferricore Block into Antimony Ore.[10]
- A Powah energizing recipe turns a Blazegold Block into a Block Of Blazing Crystal.[10]
- The Brain Scrambler is made in an Oritech particle collision, shown below. Look for Bio-Neural Circuit and Upgrade: Mind Fog in it.[10]

The Just Dyna Things add-on
The in-game guide describes Just Dyna Things as an add-on for Just Dire Things, and its recipes link to other mods. It adds chisels in Ferricore, Blazegold, Celestigem and Eclipse Alloy versions, such as Ferricore Chisel, Celestigem Chisel and Eclipse Alloy Chisel. Each upgrade step can be crafted or done at a smithing table. One smithing example is shown below.[10][52]
Smithing Transform
Recipe id: justdynathings:ferricore_chisel_from_iron_chisel_smithing
The smithing table route to the Ferricore Chisel.
Its Echoing Budding blocks pair a Polymorphic Catalyst with an Echo Shard and a budding block from a tag whose name points at Extended AE, and the time version uses a tag of time buddings.[10]
Mob restrictions
The pack adds all Productive Bees entities to two of the mod's entity deny tags, paradox_deny and polymorphic_target_deny. That means the mod's Paradox and Polymorphic effects will not affect them.[59]
Which FTB Skies 2: Aero quests use Just Dire Things?
4 parts
Most of the mod's quests are in the chapter "Just Dire Things". It sits in the Tech Mods group, is chapter 26 of 31 in the book, and has 46 quests. It follows one idea: make Goo, let it convert blocks into new materials, then climb the Goo tiers. The mod also turns up in three other chapters.[2]
The Just Dire Things chapter
Two quests are plain checkmarks with no item to hand in. "Welcome to Just Dire Things!" quest introduces the mod and tells you to craft Primogel Goo. "Just Dyna Things" quest introduces the Just Dyna Things addon and warns that its in-game [G] guide may not match the values configured for this pack.[2]
The main spine goes in this order:[2]
- "It All Starts With Goo" quest asks for Primogel Goo. Goo spreads onto other blocks and converts them over time.[2]
- "Goo Transmutations" quest asks for an iron block, Raw Ferricore and Ferricore Ingot. You activate the Goo with Sugar or Rotten Flesh, then place Iron Blocks on its faces. The quest text says Fortune does not work on the resulting ores.[2]
- "Creating Blazegold" quest asks for Blazebloom Goo, a Goo upgrader from Just Dyna Things and Raw Blazegold. Blazebloom Goo converts Blocks of Gold and is activated with Nether Wart or Blaze Powder.[2]
- "Making Celestigems" quest asks for VoidShimmer Goo, another upgrader and Celestigem. VoidShimmer Goo converts Diamond Blocks and is activated with Ender Pearls or Chorus Fruit.[2]
- "Ore of the Eclipse" quest asks for Shadowpulse Goo, a third upgrader and Raw Eclipse Alloy. Shadowpulse Goo converts Netherite Blocks and is activated with Sculk or Sculk Catalysts.[2]
Branches off Goo Transmutations
Once you finish Goo Transmutations, a lot opens up at once. These quests all come after it:[2]
- Generators: ""Simple" Coal Generator" quest (the quest text says higher coal tiers give up to 960 RF/t), ""Simple" Fuel Generator" quest (the quest text says the top fuel tier gives 4k RF/t) and "Pocket Generator" quest.[2]
- Simple machines: "Simple Block Breaker" quest, "Simple Block Placer" quest, "Simple Fluid Placer" quest, "Simple Fluid Collector" quest, "Simple Dropper" quest and "Simple Clicker" quest.[2]
- "Just Dire's Item Collector" quest asks for Item Collector, which the quest text says can be set to a radius of up to 11x11x11.[2]
- "Useful Machine Tools" quest asks for Ferricore Wrench and Machine Settings Copier.[2]
- Gear: "Ferricore Armor" quest and "Ferricore Tools" quest.[2]
- "Tool Upgrades" quest asks for Upgrade: Blank. Upgrades are combined with a tool or armor piece in a Smithing Table.[2]
Upgrades and later tiers
Each of these upgrade quests asks for one upgrade item and comes after Tool Upgrades: Night Vision, Smoker, Ore X-Ray, Flight, Negate Fall Damage, Elytra, Ore Scanner, Smelter, Instant Break, Mob X-Ray, Hammer, Mob Scanner and Drops Teleport. For example, "Upgrade: Hammer" quest says a Blazegold Pickaxe with it mines a 3x3 area, and "Upgrade: Drops Teleport" quest binds an inventory so drops teleport into it.[2]
Creating Blazegold leads on to a quest in "Just Dire Things", "Blazegold Armor" quest, "Blazejet Wand" quest and "Blazegold Tools" quest. Making Celestigems leads to "Celestigem Armor" quest and "Celestigem Tools" quest. Ore of the Eclipse leads to "Altering Time" quest, "Stabilizer" quest, "Eclipse Alloy Armor" quest and "Eclipse Alloy Tools" quest.[2]
The time branch finishes the chapter. "Altering Time" quest asks for Time Crystal and Advanced Swapper. a quest in "Just Dire Things" asks for Time Fluid Bucket and comes after both the Polymorphic Catalyst quest and Altering Time. a quest in "Just Dire Things" comes after the Stabilizer quest.[2]
Other chapters that use the mod
In "Getting Started" (Main Questline, chapter 4 of 31), "Enderman Gateway" quest asks for Raw Blazegold along with a Gate Pearl, and comes after Proper Materials. a quest in "Getting Started" asks for VoidShimmer Goo and End Stone. It comes after the Gate Pearl, Sky Replica Ingot and Division Sigil quests, and "D.I.Y End Portal" quest follows it.[14]
In "Pina Colada" (Main Questline, chapter 6 of 31), "Weird-tasting Fruit Juice" quest asks for Time Crystal Block and Shimmering Ice, and comes after the Pineapple quest. "Time-Iced Juice" quest follows it, and then "Paradoxical Mixing" quest asks for the Paradox Mixer.[58]
In "Aeronautics" (Main Questline, chapter 5 of 31), "Levitite" quest comes after Lift. Its text says a Tier 2 Goo block (Blazebloom Goo) turns lava into Levitite blend in two minutes. The book has 58 quests in this chapter, and 48 of them are not covered here, so check the quest book for the rest.[2][60]
