Stuck? Why it might not be working
- A factory gauge shows ? and will not linkIn All the Mods 10 8.2, Create 6.0.10, a factory gauge shows ? and sends nothing while any saved link position on its frequency is not loaded. Redstone 1 to 14 does not choose which stock link is asked, and signal 15 removes the link. A recipe gauge sends again when a null inventory was stored as an empty snapshot and the next real read subtracts the whole inventory from the promise.Checked against the versions in FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.13.0.

What is Create?
1 part
Create is all about building, decoration and what its authors call aesthetic automation. Instead of clicking through machine menus, you set up contraptions of animated parts that work together, and the mod leaves most design choices to you. This pack runs Create 6.0.10.[1][2]
Create explains itself through Ponder, its visual in-game documentation. Hover over an item in JEI or in your inventory to see if it has a Ponder. JEI is also worth having because the vanilla recipe book can't show you all of Create's recipes.[1][3]
Where it sits in the quest book
The pack's quest book has a "Create" chapter in the "Tech Mods" group. It is chapter 22 of 31 and holds 100 quests. Only part of it is covered here, and the remaining 59 quests are in the quest book itself.[3]
The chapter opens with "Welcome to Create!" quest, which asks you for Andesite Alloy. From there the quests branch out:[3]
- After the welcome quest come "Schematicannon" quest, "Item Hatch" quest, a quest in "Create" and "Early-game Rotational Force" quest.[3]
- After "Early-game Rotational Force" quest come "Hand Crank" quest, "Windmills" quest, "Water Wheel" quest and "Andesite Casing" quest.[3]
- After "Andesite Casing" quest come "Measuring RPM & Stress" quest, "Mechanical Belt" quest, "Mechanical Piston" quest, "Gantry System" quest, "Mechanical Bearing" quest, "Gearboxes" quest, "Depot" quest, "Item Handling" quest and "Rotation Control" quest.[3]
- Fluid quests hang off "Copper Casing" quest: "Spout" quest, "Hose Pulley" quest, "Item Drain" quest and "Portable Fluid Interface" quest.[3]
- Redstone-controlled gear hangs off "Electron Tube" quest: "Contraption Controls" quest and "Adjustable Chain Gearshift" quest.[3]
The chapter also covers trains, with quests for the Train Station, Train Signal, Train Observer and Train Controls, plus the White Postbox for sending packages between train stops.[3]
How do you get started with Create?
6 parts
The pack's quest chapter for Create sits in the Tech Mods group (chapter 22 of 31 in the book), and it opens with "Welcome to Create!" quest. That quest asks you for Andesite Alloy and says you'll need a lot of it. It also points you to Ponder, Create's visual in-game documentation: hover over an item in JEI or in your inventory to see whether it has one. The mod's own page recommends JEI too, because the vanilla recipe book can't guide you through the Create recipes.[1][3]
Andesite Alloy and the Wrench
Craft some Andesite Alloy first. The same quest introduces the Wrench, a multipurpose tool that can rotate, configure and dismantle blocks and contraptions. Alloy is also all the Basin needs, so that is an easy first craft:[3][4]
Shafts and cogwheels
Next comes "Early-game Rotational Force" quest, which covers Shaft, Cogwheel and Large Cogwheel. They carry rotation to your machines and can raise or lower the RPM of your system. In this pack the Cogwheel has a deploying recipe:[3][4]
Get some power
The quest book offers three early options after the cogwheels. The Hand Crank is the quickest, but the quest says it won't sustain your machines. The Water Wheel gives passive rotation from water, and the Large Water Wheel gives half the RPM with a much higher stress capacity. A Windmill Bearing is a significant upgrade over the Water Wheel in both RPM and stress capacity.[3]
The stress capacities in this pack's config are 8 for kinetics.stressValues.v2.capacity.hand_crank, 32 for kinetics.stressValues.v2.capacity.water_wheel, 128 for kinetics.stressValues.v2.capacity.large_water_wheel and 512 for kinetics.stressValues.v2.capacity.windmill_bearing.[5]
Windmill Sail attach to surfaces and to each other without a Chassis or Super Glue, and the quest says 128 of them max out the Windmill Bearing's stress capacity. The config sets kinetics.minimumWindmillSails to 8, so that is the fewest sails a windmill needs to assemble.[3][5]

Andesite Casing
"Andesite Casing" quest comes after the cogwheels quest, and most of the chapter hangs off it. The quest says Andesite Casings are used to craft most early-game blocks and machines, and they also work as decoration. In this pack the casing comes from applying alloy to a stripped log:[3][4]

Early machines
Once you have casings, the book branches out. "Measuring RPM & Stress" quest gives you the Speedometer to check RPM and stress. "Millstone" quest is an early grinder, and "Mechanical Belt" quest lets you move items or rotation along a conveyor.[3]

Plates and the Brass Age
After "Plates" quest, the book says you need different plates to get into late-game Create. Iron Plates are the most common, Copper Plates are generally used for fluid components, and Gold Plates cover miscellaneous recipes. The quest also asks for the Mechanical Press. The pack has changed some recipes to use Iron Plates, for example Super Glue, Chute, Mechanical Harvester and Empty Blaze Burner.[3][4]
From Plates the book leads on to "The Brass Age" quest, which asks for a Brass Ingot, then to "Brass Casing" quest for the more complex machines. Fluids and Blaze Burners follow from Plates as well. The rest of the chapter is told in the quest book, and the pack's Create server settings are in config/create-server.toml.[3][5]
How does Create work?
7 parts
Create is about building contraptions out of animated parts that work together, not about clicking through machine menus. The mod has an in-game guide called Ponder that walks you through every mechanic, and JEI is recommended because the vanilla recipe book can't show you Create's recipes. This section covers how the systems behave with the values this pack sets.[1]
One pack-level change to know first: worldgen.disableWorldGen is set to true, so none of Create's own worldgen takes effect here.[6]
Stress, speed and power
The stress mechanic is switched on, because kinetics.disableStress is false. Sources add capacity to a network and machines use it up. A Shaft, Cogwheel and belts cost 0 stress, so they never eat into your budget.[4][5]
The pack's capacity values for power sources are listed below. The impact values after them are what each machine costs.[5]
- Hand crank: 8 (kinetics.stressValues.v2.capacity.hand_crank).[5]
- Water wheel: 32, and large water wheel: 128.[5]
- Windmill bearing: 512, and steam engine: 1,024.[5]
- Creative motor: 16,384.[5]
- Crushing wheel and mechanical press: 8 each.[5]
- Mechanical mixer, mechanical saw, mechanical drill, millstone, deployer, mechanical pump, mechanical piston and hose pulley: 4 each.[5]
- Encased fan, mechanical arm and mechanical crafter: 2 each.[5]
No kinetic block can spin faster than 256 RPM (kinetics.maxRotationSpeed). Create's tooltips call 30 RPM medium speed and 100 RPM fast. A source counts as medium capacity from 256 and high from 1,024. A machine counts as medium stress impact from 4 and high from 8. Kinetic blocks re-check that their source is still valid every 60 ticks.[5]
A windmill needs at least 8 sail-type blocks to assemble, and every further 8 sails add 1 RPM. Belts can be at most 20 blocks long.[5]
Fans and crushing wheels
An encased fan pushes and pulls entities up to 20 blocks away. A fan-based processing recipe takes 150 ticks to take effect, and the fan checks for blocked airflow every 30 ticks. Fans reach their maximum stats at 256 RPM. Active crushing wheels deal 4 damage.[5]
Fluids
A fluid tank holds 8 buckets per block and can be at most 32 blocks tall (fluids.fluidTankCapacity and fluids.fluidTankMaxHeight). A mechanical pump works up to 16 blocks on either side. Both open-ended pipes and hose pulleys are allowed to place fluid source blocks in this pack.[5]
A hose pulley can draw from up to 128 blocks away. It treats a body of fluid as infinite once it finds 10,000 fluid blocks (fluids.hosePulleyBlockThreshold). Which fluids can be drained infinitely is set by fluids.bottomlessFluidMode, which here is ALLOW_BY_TAG. fluids.fillInfinite is false, so hose pulleys do not keep filling above-threshold sources.[5]
Items and logistics
- Funnels wait 8 ticks between transfers when redstone isn't re-triggering them, and brass tunnels wait 10 ticks between distributions.[5]
- A mechanical arm reaches 5 blocks, and a package port can sit at most 5 blocks from its target.[5]
- A vault holds 20 stacks per block of its size.[5]
- A chain conveyor carries 20 packages at a time, has at most 4 connections, and each connection can be up to 32 blocks long.[5]
- A factory gauge waits 100 ticks between requests.[5]
- Display links reach 64 blocks from their target, and redstone links reach 256 blocks.[5]
- A weighted ejector can throw up to 32 blocks.[5]
Contraptions
A structure moved by pistons, bearings or similar can contain up to 2,048 blocks (kinetics.contraptions.maxBlocksMoved). A mechanical piston can have 64 extension poles, a rope pulley can let out 384 blocks of rope, and chassis range tops out at 16.[5]
Harvesters on contraptions replant crops but won't break crops that aren't fully grown. Mined and harvested items go into the contraption's mounted storage. Minecart contraptions can be picked up in survival.[5]
Some blocks are restricted here. Obsidian and reinforced deepslate are UNMOVABLE, while spawners and budding amethyst are NO_PICKUP.[5]
Which recipes machines will accept
The server config decides which extra recipes Create's machines will process. Mechanical crafters accept regular crafting recipes, mechanical saws accept stonecutting recipes, and a mixer with a basin can brew supported potions. Shapeless recipes in the mixer, single-ingredient square recipes in the press, and casting with a spout are all off. The saw and the press also do not process whole stacks at once, because bulk cutting and bulk pressing are both false.[5]
Deploying is one of the common machine recipe types. The dump lists 68 deploying recipes that take Create or vanilla items and make Create items, and it also counts 305 stonecutting recipes that make Create items.[4]
A deploying recipe: the deployer applies the second item to the first.
The pack also adds crushing recipes of its own. Deepslate copper ore, for example, gives a Nugget of Experience and 3 copper clumps when crushed.[4]
Crushing (create)
Recipe id: ftb:unification/create/crushing/ores/deepslate/ore_to_crushed/copper
Several crafting and stonecutting recipes are changed by the pack compared with the mod, so check them in JEI before you plan around the mod's defaults. These are Controller Rail, Minecart Coupling, Attribute Filter and Copper Bars.[4]
Trains
Assembled trains have a top speed of 28 blocks per second and 14 while turning. A train can have up to 20 bogeys, and its station assembly track can be up to 128 blocks long. Moving trains can hurt mobs and players they hit.[5]
How do you progress through Create?
6 parts
Create's quests sit in the Tech Mods group of the quest book, as chapter 22 of 31, with 100 quests. They form a rough ladder: andesite, then plates, then brass, then precision parts. Fluids, trains and logistics branch off along the way.[3]
Tier 1: Andesite
The chapter starts at "Welcome to Create!" quest, which asks you for Andesite Alloy. The quest says you will need a lot of it, and that Ponder (hover over an item in JEI or your inventory) teaches you how most blocks work. The pack changed the Andesite Alloy mixing recipe, so use this one:[3][4]
Next is "Early-game Rotational Force" quest for Shaft, Cogwheel and Large Cogwheel. It unlocks your first power sources: "Hand Crank" quest, "Water Wheel" quest and "Windmills" quest. The windmill quest says it takes 128 sails to max out the Windmill Bearing's Stress Capacity, and any extra sails are purely decorative.[3]
"Andesite Casing" quest is the big hub. The book says andesite casings are used to craft most early-game blocks and machines. Most of the basic machine quests hang off it: the Millstone, Mechanical Belt, Gearboxes, Mechanical Piston, Mechanical Bearing, Mechanical Drill, Depot, Item Handling, Chassis and more.[3]

Recipe id: create:item_application/andesite_casing_from_log
Tier 2: Plates
After the casing hub comes "Plates" quest, which asks for an iron, copper or gold plate plus a Mechanical Press. The book says you need different plates for different functions to progress into late-game Create. Iron plates are the most common, copper plates are generally for fluid components, and gold plates cover miscellaneous recipes.[3]
The plates quest opens up a lot: "Item Vault" quest, a quest in "Create", "Assembling Contraptions" quest, "Fluid Pipes" quest, "Fluid Tank" quest and "The Brass Age" quest. For the Blaze Burner, you craft an Empty Blaze Burner, go to the Nether and right-click a Blaze with it to capture it. "Steam Engine" quest comes after the Fluid Tank, and the book says it makes a lot more Rotational Force than windmills or water wheels.[3]
The pack changed the recipes for the Empty Blaze Burner and Super Glue, so check them in JEI instead of trusting the mod defaults.[4]
Fluids and the copper branch
"Copper Casing" quest is the base of the fluid-handling quests. The book says copper casings are the foundation for fluid-related blocks. "Spout" quest, "Hose Pulley" quest, "Item Drain" quest and "Portable Fluid Interface" quest all follow it. The pack changed the copper casing recipe.[3][4]

Tier 3: Brass
"The Brass Age" quest asks for a brass ingot and leads to "Brass Casing" quest, "Upgraded Item Handling" quest, "Brass Plate" quest and "Mechanical Crafter" quest. The book says brass casings are used for some of the more mechanically complex machines. The pack changed this casing recipe too.[3][4]

Brass Casing leads on to "Elevator Pulley" quest, the Threshold Switch, the Smart Observer and the Kinetic Bridge. The Brass Plate quest leads to the Smart Fluid Pipe, the Smart Chute and "Deployer" quest.[3]
Tier 4: Precision
The Deployer leads to "Precision Mechanism" quest. The book calls it an important component for some of the best tools and machines in Create, and warns that its recipe has a 20% chance to fail, so set up a filter to catch the failures.[3]
Precision Mechanism unlocks the Factory Gauge, Rotation Speed Controller, Kinetic Battery and Mechanical Arm. The Wand of Symmetry, Extendo Grip and Potato Cannon also need the Mechanical Crafter quest. The pack changed both the Mechanical Arm and Extendo Grip recipes.[3][4]

The book also has a a quest in "Create" quest after the Mechanical Crafter. It describes the FTB Constructor, a multiblock mainly used to replace Mechanical Crafters.[3]
Side branches: trains and logistics
- Trains: "Obsidian Plates" quest come after the Spout quest. They lead to "Train Casing" quest and "Train Schedule" quest. The Train Track quest comes after the Deployer.[3]
- Packages: "Cardboard" quest comes after the Mechanical Mixer and leads to "Packager" quest.[3]
- Stock network: "Stock Link" quest comes after the Item Vault and Transmitter quests. It leads to "Stock Ticker" quest and "Redstone Requester" quest. The Item Vault quest also leads to the Package Frogport.[3]
How does Create work with other mods?
3 parts
Create sits at the centre of a lot of this pack's crafting. The recipe dump shows Create items inside recipes from many other mods, and the pack has changed or added some of those recipes itself. Here is the tour.[4]
Ore processing and metals
The pack's own FTB Materials items are woven into Create's crushing. The dump counts 50 crushing recipes of that kind. The pack changed crushing Crimsite so it gives Iron Clump, and crushing Asurine so it gives Zinc Clump. It also added recipes that turn Aluminum Cluster into Aluminum Clump, and deepslate copper ore into 3 Copper Clump, each with a Nugget of Experience on the side.[4]
FTB Materials plates and ingots also show up in Create's own crafting. The pack changed these recipes: Minecart Coupling, Attribute Filter, Elevator Pulley, Empty Blaze Burner, Super Glue and Extendo Grip. Even Brass Casing has a pack-changed recipe.[4]

Changed by the pack
Productive Metalworks has 12 melting recipes that take Create's crushed raw metals, for example Crushed Raw Aluminum into 90 Molten Aluminum. Going the other way, casting molten brass gives you a Brass Ingot.[4]
For lead, splashing Crushed Raw Lead gives 9 Lead Nugget, and blasting it gives an Lead Ingot. The pack changed the blasting recipe.[4]
Crushing also covers ores from other mods. Blazing Quartz Ore gives 2 Blazing Quartz, and Deepslate Platinum Ore gives Crushed Raw Platinum plus 4 Nugget of Experience. The pack changed the crushing of Quartz Ore so it gives 3 Quartz.[4]

Add-ons built on Create parts
- Create Connected: Crank Wheel, Brass Gearbox and the Inverted Clutch to Clutch conversion are built from Create parts. The pack changed the Centrifugal Clutch recipe.[4]
- Create Big Cannons: the pack changed the recipes for Cannon Drill, Cannon Mount and Bronze Sliding Breechblock. Cannon Loader keeps its mod recipe.[4]
- Create Propulsion and Create Thrusters: the pack changed Platinum Fluid Tank, Liquid Burner, Andesite Cable and Processing Upgrade: Haunting Tier 1. Claw keeps its mod recipe.[4]
- Railways: the pack changed Handcar, Fuel Tank and Deco Coupler. The dump counts 32 Create item application recipes that make Railways items, such as Black Locometal Flywheel from a Flywheel.[4]
- Create Radar: Data Link and Auto Pitch Controller are made from Create parts.[4]
- Create: New Age: the pack changed the Advanced Motor recipe.[4]
- Aeroworks: Control Desk and Button Module use Create parts, and the pack changed the Button Module recipe. Button Keypad can be made from the Copper Button Keypad with Andesite Alloy.[4]
- Simulated and Offroad: the pack added recipes for Docking Connector, Gimbal Sensor, Directional Linked Receiver, Iron Handle and Borehead Bearing, all using Create parts.[4]
- Smaller links: Linked Controller Hub, Andesite lamp, Copycat Cogwheel (a pack-changed recipe) and Weathered Metal Girder, which you get by splashing a Metal Girder.[4]

Quests and scripts
The Create chapter is in the Tech Mods group, chapter 22 of 31 in the quest book, and has 100 quests. 70 of them are not covered here, so check the quest book for those.[3]
Two Create quests point at other mods. "Energising" quest says energising is a key part of Create: New Age, and its tasks accept energisers from that mod and from the pack's own companion mod. "Engineer's Goggles" quest asks for the Engineer's Goggles and the Aviator's Goggles, which also display information about contraptions and networks.[3]
- A pack script uses Create's Super Glue in a Jags recipe for a fake grass block, and each craft damages the glue by 1.[7]
- The pack's Pumpjack multiblock, a Modern Industrialization machine, uses Create's Mechanical Pump as part of its structure, alongside Mekanism blocks.[8]
- If the Llamapalooza mod is loaded, feeding a Loot Llama Andesite Alloy has a 0.05 chance to switch it to the pack's andesite alloy loot table.[9]
Which FTB Skies 2: Aero quests use Create?
5 parts
Create has its own chapter in the quest book. It sits in the Tech Mods group, is chapter 22 of 31, and holds 100 quests. Most of it is one big branching tree, so you can pick the branch you care about once the basics are done.[3]
The main path
- Start with "Welcome to Create!" quest, which asks for Andesite Alloy. It points you to Ponder, Create's in-game documentation, and mentions the Wrench.[3]
- "Early-game Rotational Force" quest comes next and asks for a Cogwheel, a Large Cogwheel and a Shaft. "Schematicannon" quest, "Item Hatch" quest and a quest in "Create" also unlock straight after the welcome quest.[3]
- Early power comes from "Hand Crank" quest, "Windmills" quest and "Water Wheel" quest. The windmill quest says you need 128 sails to max out the Stress Capacity of the Windmill Bearing.[3]
- "Andesite Casing" quest is the big hub. Right after it you get belts, pistons, bearings, gearboxes, chassis, the Depot, funnels and chutes, the Millstone, the Mechanical Drill and more, including "Measuring RPM & Stress" quest and "Rotation Control" quest.[3]
- "Plates" quest asks for an iron, copper or gold plate plus a Mechanical Press. It opens "Item Vault" quest, a quest in "Create", "The Brass Age" quest, "Transmitter" quest, "Fluid Pipes" quest, "Fluid Tank" quest and "Assembling Contraptions" quest.[3]
- The Brass Age leads to "Brass Casing" quest, "Upgraded Item Handling" quest, "Brass Plate" quest and "Mechanical Crafter" quest. Brass Plate then opens "Deployer" quest, "Smart Fluid Pipe" quest and "Smart Chute" quest.[3]
- "Precision Mechanism" quest comes after the Deployer and unlocks the late-game set: "Factory Gauge" quest, "Mechanical Arm" quest, "Rotation Speed Controller" quest, "Extendo Grip" quest, "Wand of Symmetry" quest, "Potato Cannon" quest and the add-on quests listed below.[3]
Fluids, steam and logistics
"Copper Casing" quest has no prerequisite listed and opens the fluid quests: "Spout" quest, "Hose Pulley" quest, "Item Drain" quest and "Portable Fluid Interface" quest. "Mechanical Pump" quest and "Fluid Valve" quest follow Fluid Pipes, and "Steam Engine" quest follows Fluid Tank. "Mechanical Mixer" quest needs both the Blaze Burner and Solar Heaters quests first.[3]
The package and stock quests branch off the Item Vault and Transmitter quests. "Package Frogport" quest follows Item Vault. "Stock Link" quest needs Item Vault and Transmitter, and it leads to "Stock Ticker" quest and "Redstone Requester" quest. "Cardboard" quest follows the Mixer and leads to "Packager" quest.[3]
Trains
"Obsidian Plates" quest follows Spout and leads to "Train Casing" quest and "Train Schedule" quest. "Train Track" quest follows the Deployer. The station, signal, observer, controls, roller and postbox quests ("Train Station" quest, "Train Signal" quest, "Train Observer" quest, "Train Controls" quest, "Mechanical Roller" quest, "Postbox" quest) list no prerequisite in the quest data.[3]
Add-on and pack-specific quests
The chapter also covers companion content. "Converting FE to Stress" quest, "Energising" quest and "Solar Heaters" quest cover Create: New Age. a quest in "Create" and a quest in "Create" cover Create Connected. "Create: Hypertubes" quest covers hypertubes. "AE Stock Bridge" quest bridges Create stock networks with AE2. a quest in "Create" and a quest in "Create" cover Not Enough Patterns.[3]
a quest in "Create" follows the Mechanical Crafter. It asks for the blocks of the FTB Constructor multiblock, which includes the Mechanical Mixer, Basin, Depot and Deployer alongside items from other mods.[3]
The goggles quest "Engineer's Goggles" quest also accepts the Aviator's Goggles, and a quest in "Create" follows the Mixer.[3]
Other chapters
Create also shows up in other chapters of the quest book, such as Getting Started (Main Questline, chapter 4 of 31), Generating Resources, Ars Nouveau, Just Dire Things, EnderIO, Aeronautics, Useful Items & Tips and Oritech. Their quest text isn't covered here, so check the quest book for what they ask for.[3][10]
Which Create config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
Good news: you don't need to relearn Create for this pack. The only value the pack's config files flag as changed from the mod default is a cosmetic one. client.mainMenuConfigButtonRow is set to 0 instead of 2, which hides the Create config button on the main menu. The in-game menu button is still there on row 3, set by client.ingameMenuConfigButtonRow.[11][12]
One setting matters a lot on a skyblock map: worldgen.disableWorldGen is set to true. That stops all worldgen added by Create from taking effect, so don't expect to find any of Create's world generation.[13]
Stress and power
Stress is fully active, because kinetics.disableStress is false. So you have to plan your power sources. Here is how much stress capacity each source provides in this pack:[12]
- Hand crank: 8, set by kinetics.stressValues.v2.capacity.hand_crank.[12]
- Water wheel: 32, and large water wheel: 128.[12]
- Windmill bearing: 512. A windmill needs at least 8 sail-type blocks to assemble, and you gain 1 RPM for every 8 sails, set by kinetics.windmillSailsPerRPM.[12]
- Steam engine: 1,024, and creative motor: 16,384.[12]
The heaviest consumers are the crushing wheel and the mechanical press, each with a stress impact of 8. Fans, mechanical arms and mechanical crafters sit at 2. Shafts, cogwheels, gearboxes and belts cost 0. Rotation speed is capped at 256 RPM by kinetics.maxRotationSpeed.[12]
Processing
- Bulk processing is off. Presses and saws don't process whole stacks at once, because recipes.bulkPressing and recipes.bulkCutting are both false.[12]
- The mixer can't run shapeless crafting recipes, and the press can't compact 2x2 or 3x3 recipes. Both recipes.allowShapelessInMixer and recipes.allowShapedSquareInPress are false.[12]
- Mechanical crafters can run any standard crafting recipe, saws can do stonecutting, and a mixer with a basin can brew supported potions.[12]
- Fan processing takes 150 game ticks, set by kinetics.encasedFan.fanProcessingTime.[12]
Fluids and storage
- Fluid tanks hold 8 buckets per block and can be up to 32 blocks tall.[12]
- Item vaults hold 20 stacks per block, set by logistics.vaultCapacity.[12]
- A hose pulley treats a body of fluid as infinite once it finds 10,000 fluid blocks. Which fluids can be drained infinitely is controlled by tag, because fluids.bottomlessFluidMode is set to ALLOW_BY_TAG.[12]
- Open-ended pipes are allowed to place fluid source blocks, through fluids.pipesPlaceFluidSourceBlocks.[12]
Contraptions and trains
- Contraptions can move up to 2,048 blocks, and belts can be up to 20 blocks long.[12]
- Spawners and budding amethyst are set to NO_PICKUP for contraptions. Obsidian and reinforced deepslate are set to UNMOVABLE.[12]
- Harvesters replant crops and skip crops that aren't fully grown.[12]
- Trains reach a top speed of 28 blocks per second, or 40 when powered. They can hurt mobs and players they collide with, because trains.trainsCauseDamage is true.[12]
What changed in Create between versions?
3 parts
FTB Skies 2: Aero 1.10.0 ships with Create 6.0.10. Create has been in the pack since 1.0.3 or earlier, so you have had it from the start.[2]
I don't have any pack changelog entries for Create, so this section only covers the mod's own 6.0.10 changelog. The changelog I was given is cut off partway through, so this is a partial list of what changed.[14]
Gameplay changes in 6.0.10
- Recipe viewer sync in Stock Keepers is improved. You can now pick from 4 modes: Disabled, Sync only from Recipe Viewers, Sync only to Recipe Viewers, or Sync from and to Recipe Viewers.[14]
- There are new keybinds for the ctrl, shift and alt modifiers.[14]
- The maxAssemblyLength is now limited to 512 and the maxBogeyCount to 200, to prevent issues with oversized assemblies and bogey counts.[14]
Optimizations
Notable bug fixes
- Contraptions and storage: enchanted items no longer disappear in contraption storages, and the postbox duplication that happened when someone broke it while it was still being accessed is fixed.[14]
- Trains: a crash when a CC: Tweaked computer is attached to a train station is fixed, and adjustable chain gearshifts no longer crash in specific setups.[14]
- Stock links on the same storage, for example double chests, no longer report item amounts twice.[14]
- Spouts now stop items correctly when filling them while the spout is also being filled, and basins now spawn fluid particles.[14]
- Steam engines now fill with water if they are expanded after the engines have already been placed.[14]
- Tools with efficiency are now faster when used in deployers.[14]
- Mechanical mixers that are mixing slower than required no longer play an animation or keep mixing.[14]
