What is PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?
1 part
PneumaticCraft: Repressurized is an industrial-themed tech mod with a unique power system, an original take on automation, and a very powerful armor set. This pack ships version 8.2.23.[1][2]
Everything starts with pressure. Compressors are the power generators of the mod, and pressure tubes are how you move that compressed air around.[3][4]
From there the mod branches out. The Logistics System moves items and fluids and keeps inventories stocked, and it is heavily inspired by Factorio. You can program drones with a set of programming widgets, make renewable biodiesel, and build a highly upgradable Pneumatic Armor set.[5][6][7][8]
Where the quest book places it
The mod has its own quest chapter, called "pncr". It opens with a quest for the Compressed Iron Ingot, and the rest of the chapter branches out from there.[9]
- Early game: "Just A Little Pressure, Right?" quest is followed by "Pushing Pressure" quest for the Pressure Tube and "Reinforced Stone" quest for Reinforced Stone. "Faster Farming!" quest also hangs off the first quest and asks for the Crop Support.[9]
- Power and machines: "Generating Air Pressure" quest asks for the Air Compressor. After it come the Charging Station in "Charging Station" quest, the Pressure Chamber Wall in "Precious Pressure" quest and the Thermal Lagging in "Thermodynamics" quest.[9]
- Oil and fluids: "The Search For Oil!" quest asks for Crude Oil Bucket and a Seismic Sensor. Next are the Refinery Controller in "Refined Oil" quest and the Thermopneumatic Processing Plant in "Thermopneumatic Processing Plant" quest.[9]
- Circuit boards: "The Amadron Network" quest pairs the Amadron Tablet with Industrial Foregoing plastic. It leads to the UV Light Box and Empty PCB in "Making Circuit Boards!" quest, etching in "Etching PCBs" quest, and the Finished PCB in "Finished PCB" quest.[9]
- Later in the chapter: after the finished PCB, the chapter opens the assembly line in "Assembly Line" quest, the armor pieces in "I am (Compressed) Iron Man!" quest, and the Programmer in "Automating Drones to Farm!" quest. The assembly line leads on to the Advanced Pressure Tube in "Advanced Pressure Tubes" quest, which then leads to the Solar Compressor, Pneumatic Dynamo and Flux Compressor.[9]
Unverified Whether the ATM Star path uses this mod is not shown by the sources here. Check the pack's own quest book for that.
How do you get started with PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?
4 parts
PneumaticCraft runs on compressed air, and almost everything starts with one material: Compressed Iron Ingot. This mod doesn't add any extra ores, so all you need to begin is regular iron and stone.[13][14]
Step 1: Make Compressed Iron
Grab roughly a stack of iron and a stack of stone, maybe a bit less iron. Throw the iron on the ground and set off a nearby explosion. TNT works, and so does any other explosion. Then pick up the Compressed Iron Ingots. Yes, really, and step back first![13][14]

Once you have a Pressure Chamber, use this instead of explosions.
Step 2: Pressure Tubes and Reinforced Stone
Next, make some Pressure Tube. They are how you move compressed air around. Then make some Reinforced Stone.[4][14]

The pack's quest chapter follows this same order. First comes "Just A Little Pressure, Right?" quest for the Compressed Iron Ingot, then "Pushing Pressure" quest for the Pressure Tube, then "Reinforced Stone" quest for Reinforced Stone.[9]
Step 3: Your first power source
Compressors are the power generators of this mod. The Air Compressor makes compressed air from any solid fuel that burns in a Furnace. Fuel buckets won't work in it. Liquid fuels need a Liquid Compressor instead.[3][16]

The quest for it is "Generating Air Pressure" quest. It unlocks after the Reinforced Stone quest and one other quest that these sources don't describe.[9]
Step 4: Charging Station and Pressure Chamber
The Charging Station charges and discharges pneumatic items such as Drones. It also manages the upgrades in items that accept them.[16][17][18]

The manual's last starting step is to build a Pressure Chamber. In the pack's quest chapter, the Pressure Chamber Wall quest unlocks right after the Air Compressor.[9][14]
Once the chamber is up, you can switch from explosions to pressing your iron into Compressed Iron there. From here the quests branch out into the Charging Module ("Charging Module" quest), Thermal Lagging ("Thermodynamics" quest) and oil processing ("The Search For Oil!" quest).[9][13]
How does PneumaticCraft: Repressurized work?
11 parts
Compressed air is the power system of this mod. Once you understand how the air a machine currently holds, its volume and its pressure relate, most of the machines make sense.[19]
Air, volume and pressure
Every pressurizable machine or tool has a volume, measured in mL. That is the amount of air it can store at 0 bar, which is normal atmospheric pressure (the mod uses gauge pressure). Pressure is calculated as P = (A / V) - 1, where A is the air currently in the machine and V is its volume. A machine with 5,000 mL of volume holding 20,000 mL of air sits at 3 bar.[19]
Air moves from higher-pressure blocks to lower-pressure ones, and pressure tries to balance out. Connecting a small machine to a big air store, like a Pressure Chamber, will result in a pressure build-up in the machine. The volume of most machines can be increased with Volume Upgrades, which means smaller pressure drops when air is used.[19]
Many machines require a minimum pressure to operate, but what their operations actually consume is air, not pressure. Pressure is just a function of the air currently stored and the volume.[19]
Pressure tiers
The mod currently has three tiers for pneumatic machines. Tier one machines nominally resist 5 bar, tier one-point-five machines can resist up to 10 bar, and tier two machines can resist up to 20 bar. Tier 1.5 is an optional tier, mainly intended to give access to functionality that used to be tier 2 only, such as charging tools to 10 bar.[21]
Your tubes have limits too. The Advanced Pressure Tube is the strongest type of Pressure Tube, with a max safe pressure of 20 bar, and you can camouflage it and place Tube Modules on it. The Air Canister has a volume of 3,000 mL and can be charged to 10 bar (it won't explode). Any pneumatic item crafted with a charged canister retains its air.[15][16][22]

Making compressed air
Compressors are machines which compress air to generate pressure, and they are the power generators of the mod. The Air Compressor can burn any solid-fuel item that can burn in a Furnace, put in its fuel slot. Fuel buckets will not work, so liquid fuels need a Liquid Compressor.[3][16]

Recipe id: pneumaticcraft:air_compressor
- The Advanced Air Compressor is the tier two version. Like the basic one it can generate compressed air using any fuel that can burn in a Furnace, but it generates at 50 mL/tick and also produces heat. The higher the heat, the lower the efficiency. It won't explode when the temperature gets too high.[16]
- The Flux Compressor converts Forge Energy into compressed air at a base efficiency of 40%, so it takes 100 FE to generate 40 mL. Speed Upgrades will reduce this efficiency slightly, and the machine generates heat, which must be dissipated to avoid efficiency loss.[16]
- The Electrostatic Compressor produces 200,000 mL of air instantly when lightning hits it. A grid of Iron Bars or Lightning Rods connected to it improves the strike chance. Strikes are poor in clear weather, better in rain and much better in a thunderstorm. The tooltip says the grid blocks might be modified by the pack and to check JEI.[16]
Compressed Iron and the early game
The mod adds no extra ores. You start by throwing Iron Ingots on the ground and blowing them up to get Compressed Iron Ingot. You lose around 20% of the ingots in the explosion. A Pressure Chamber avoids that loss, but you need some Compressed Iron to build one first.[13][14]
The pack's recipe list also contains a Mystical Agriculture essence recipe that makes Compressed Iron Ingots. The dump flags it as changed by the pack.[15]

Recipe id: mysticalagriculture:essence/pneumaticcraft/compressed_iron_ingot

Heat
Heat spreads from hotter to colder blocks, and only between blocks that support heat. A bigger temperature difference means faster spread. Each material has a thermal resistance, which sets how fast heat moves, and a thermal capacity, which sets how slowly its temperature changes. Compressed Iron Blocks conduct very well, while Torches and Air resist heat strongly.[23]
Exposed machines lose heat to the air, and the Refinery is a notable example. To prevent this, cover every face with a non-conducting block. A trapdoor or slab is enough.[23]
A vanilla Furnace next to a dynamic heat source, such as a Vortex Tube or Advanced Air Compressor, is fueled by that heat with no solid fuel. This starts at 100°C and speeds up as it gets hotter. It also works for Blast Furnaces and Smokers.[24]
Machine GUIs
Most machines have side tabs. The common ones are Redstone behaviour, Information, Upgrades, Pressure Status and Problems. Pressure Status shows the current pressure and the machine's volume. If a machine won't work, check the Problems tab first.[25]
Upgrades can be inserted into machines and some tools to enhance their functionality. To add upgrades to tools, you will need a Charging Station, which is also used to charge and discharge pneumatic items. What each upgrade does varies by device: the machine's Upgrades tab can tell you, and for items it is documented in the Charging Station's upgrade GUI.[16][25][26]
Assembly line
The Assembly Controller can control any connected assembly machine, and the machines connecting those, and so on. To start the assembly, put a program in its program slot.[15][16]

- Assembly Platform: can hold items in place for drilling and lasering.[16]
- Assembly Drill and Assembly Laser: the drill can drill, and the laser can laser, items on an Assembly Platform directly adjacent to it, not diagonally.[15][16]
- Assembly IO Unit (import) and Assembly IO Unit (export): the import unit can transfer items from an input inventory to a platform, and the export unit can transfer them from a platform to an output inventory.[15][16]
The program items are separate. The Assembly Program: Drill & Laser is crafted by combining the Drill and Laser programs.[15]
Moving items and entities
- Air Cannon: can be used to transport items through the air. Right-click the block you want the items to travel to with a GPS Tool, then insert the tool in the GPS slot.[15][16]
- Aerial Interface: uses the inventory of the player who placed it, so hoppers, drones or Logistics Frames can feed items in and out of your inventory. It is also one of the two ways to get Memory Essence.[16][27]
- Elevator: needs air pressure and Elevator Frames stacked on the Elevator Base. A redstone strength of 0 means 0% extension and 15 means 100%, and Elevator Callers can also control it. Elevator Bases connected so their topmost bases are at the same height share floor names and heights. Going down costs no air.[16][28]
Fluids
Crude Oil is the mod's only world generation, and it is usually found deep underground. The recommended way to extract it is the Gas Lift. It uses pressure to place Drill Pipes downward until it reaches a liquid, and it digs through solid blocks on the way, using more pressure for harder blocks. The minimum pressure it needs rises with depth.[16][29]
For early transport when you pump far from base, a Small Tank is a simple option because it keeps its contents when broken. The Gas Lift also keeps its fluid when broken.[29]
The pack leaves the fluid tank sync interval at its default of 10 ticks: advanced.fluid_tank_update_rate. It also sets advanced.dont_update_infinite_water_sources to true, so picking up water with drones, liquid hoppers or the Gas Lift doesn't remove a source that has at least two source neighbors.[30]
Chunk loading and reliability
Machines only run while their chunks are loaded. To keep a build working while you're away, chunkload it. Keep the whole build, including multiblocks like the Pressure Chamber, inside one chunk if you can, because a half-loaded build behaves unpredictably. Put Security Upgrades in machines to prevent explosions if chunkloading or server performance goes wrong.[31]
Computer control
If ComputerCraft or OpenComputers is installed, you can talk to almost every machine. Common methods report a machine's pressure, its danger pressure and its critical pressure, the point where it will certainly explode. Machines that use heat also report temperature.[28]
How do you progress through PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?
6 parts
In this pack the PneumaticCraft quest chapter is one connected tree. You start with compressed iron, get a working air compressor, branch out into oil, plastic and circuit boards, and finish with the assembly line, drones and armor. Here is the order the quests take you through.[9]
Step 1: Compressed iron
The first quest asks for a Compressed Iron Ingot ("Just A Little Pressure, Right?" quest), and every other quest in the chapter hangs off it. There are two ways to make one: throw iron ingots on the ground and set off a nearby explosion, or use a Pressure Chamber.[9][13]

The pack also changes a Mystical Agriculture recipe so that compressed iron essence can be turned into the ingot.[15]
Step 2: Pressure, stone and your first compressor
Next come the Pressure Tube ("Pushing Pressure" quest) and Reinforced Stone ("Reinforced Stone" quest). Those unlock the Air Compressor ("Generating Air Pressure" quest), which is your first power generator. Compressors make the pressure that PneumaticCraft machines run on.[3][9]

Currently the mod has three tiers for pneumatic machines. Tier one machines nominally resist 5 bar, tier one-point-five machines can resist up to 10 bar, and tier two machines can resist up to 20 bar. Tier 1.5 is optional and mainly intended to give access to functionality that used to be tier 2 only: charging tools to 10 bar and obtaining a Diamond Drill Bit.[21]
The Advanced Air Compressor is the tier 2 version of the Air Compressor, with a maximum safe pressure of 20 bar. It makes a base 50 mL of air per tick and can take Speed Upgrades. It has to be cooled, because its efficiency drops as it heats up, until it eventually makes no air at all.[32]
Step 3: The first three branches
The air compressor quest splits into three directions, so you can pick whichever you want first.[9]
- Charging: the Charging Station ("Charging Station" quest) leads to the Charging Module, the Camouflage Applicator and the Minigun. You will keep using the Charging Station, because tool upgrades are added there.[9][26]
- Oil: the Pressure Chamber Wall ("Precious Pressure" quest) leads to a quest for Crude Oil Bucket and the Seismic Sensor ("The Search For Oil!" quest). After that comes the Refinery Controller with its Refinery Output ("Refined Oil" quest).[9]
- Heat: Thermal Lagging ("Thermodynamics" quest) leads to the Heat Sink ("Heat Sink" quest) and the Vortex Tube ("Vortex Tube" quest).[9]
Step 4: Plastic and circuit boards
The Thermopneumatic Processing Plant ("Thermopneumatic Processing Plant" quest) needs both the refinery quest and the pressure chamber wall quest done first. It opens four quests.[9]
- Fluid Mixer ("Fluid Mixer" quest).[9]
- Reinforced Pressure Tube ("Reinforced Pressure Tubes" quest).[9]
- Speed Upgrade ("Speed Upgrades" quest). A tank of Lubricant can craft several upgrades at a time.[9][26]
- Plastic together with the Amadron Tablet ("The Amadron Network" quest). This one leads on to circuit boards.[9]
The pack adds a latex alternative for the Reinforced Pressure Tube, made in the Thermopneumatic Processing Plant.[15]
Thermo Plant (pneumaticcraft)

The circuit board quests run in this order. First PCB Blueprint, UV Light Box and Empty PCB ("Making Circuit Boards!" quest). Then Etching Acid Bucket and Etching Tank ("Etching PCBs" quest). Finally the Finished PCB itself ("Finished PCB" quest). The Empty PCB is the one the pack changed, so check the recipe block below.[9][15]

Step 5: After the Finished PCB
The Finished PCB quest opens four branches at once.[9]
- Assembly line ("Assembly Line" quest): the Assembly Controller, both Assembly IO Unit (import) and Assembly IO Unit (export), the Assembly Laser, the Assembly Platform and the Assembly Program: Laser. It continues to the Advanced Pressure Tube ("Advanced Pressure Tubes" quest) and the Aerial Interface ("Aerial Interface" quest).[9]
- Power from the Advanced Pressure Tube: the Solar Compressor ("Pressurize Your System With The Sun!" quest), the Pneumatic Dynamo ("Turning Pressure Into FE" quest) and the Flux Compressor ("Flux Compressor" quest).[9]
- Armor ("I am (Compressed) Iron Man!" quest): the full Pneumatic Armor set. By default it is only slightly better than the equivalent Iron Armor piece, but it is highly upgradable. You put it in a Charging Station to pressurize it and add upgrades.[9][18]
- Modules ("Expanding Capabilities!" quest): the Module Expansion Card and the Pressure Gauge Tube Module.[9]
- Drones ("Automating Drones to Farm!" quest): the Programmer, the GPS Tool and the Programming Puzzle Piece. These lead to the Drone ("Harvesting Crops with Drones" quest), followed by one more Drone quest ("Harvesting Crops with Drones" quest).[9]

Before the Pneumatic Armor, Compressed Iron Armor is an early-game set that is slightly better than Iron Armor, with slightly higher toughness and durability and partial knockback resistance. You can repair it in an Anvil with Compressed Iron Ingots.[33]
If you want to try your first drone, you need to pressurize it in a Charging Station before programming it at the Programmer.[17]
Quests in other chapters
A few PneumaticCraft items show up in other mods' quest chapters. The Modern Industrialization chapter asks for Diesel Bucket and Ethanol Bucket, and the Immersive Engineering chapter asks for ethanol too. The Mekanism chapter includes the Radiation Shielding Upgrade, shown below.[10][11][12]

How does PneumaticCraft: Repressurized work with other mods?
7 parts
PneumaticCraft turns up in a lot of other mods' recipes in this pack, and most of the links are about fluids. Crude oil, diesel, ethanol and biodiesel from this mod feed into Modern Industrialization, Oritech and Industrial Foregoing chains. Many of those recipes were changed by the pack, so don't assume the standalone mods behave the same way.[15]
Crude oil sources
- Modern Industrialization's oil drilling rig, run with an Industrial Aluminum Drill, produces Crude Oil. The pack changed this recipe.[15]
- Industrial Foregoing's laser drill with a Black Laser Lens also outputs Crude Oil. The pack changed this one too.[15]
- A pack-added Modern Industrialization blast furnace recipe turns Crude Oil into Synthetic Oil.[15]
Refining with Modern Industrialization
The pack changed Modern Industrialization's petrochemical recipes so that Crude Oil is the crude oil they refine. Look out for Sulfuric Light Fuel, Sulfuric Heavy Fuel and Sulfuric Naphtha in the distillery and distillation tower recipes. The tower recipe is shown below. There is also a purification step that involves Sulfuric Crude Oil and Hydrogen, shown after it.[15]

Modern Industrialization's mixer has a pack-changed recipe for Diesel, and that is where Heavy Fuel and Light Fuel come in. The exact recipe is shown below.[15]
Mixer (modern_industrialization)
Recipe id: modern_industrialization:oil/mixer/diesel
Ethanol, biodiesel and boosted diesel
- Ethanol can be distilled from Sugar Solution, or made in a chemical reactor from Ethylene, Water and Sulfuric Acid.[15]
- Ethanol is also an input for other chemicals. With sulfur dust it gives ethylene and sulfuric acid, with industrial aluminum tiny dust it gives butadiene, and with acrylic acid it gives diethyl ether.[15]
- For Biodiesel, react Plant Oil, Sodium Hydroxide and ethanol into Raw Biodiesel. Then react that with Steam, which gives biodiesel and returns ethanol.[15]
- Mixing Diethyl Ether with either Diesel or Biodiesel makes Boosted Diesel.[15]
The questbook follows these fluids. The Modern Industrialization chapter has quests that ask for a Diesel Bucket ("Diesel" quest and "Diesel, Again" quest) and for an Ethanol Bucket ("Ethanol" quest and "Ethanol" quest). The Immersive Engineering chapter also asks for an ethanol bucket in "Ethanol" quest.[10][11]
Oritech
- Turbofuel has pack-changed Oritech fluid centrifuge recipes that involve Fluxite and PneumaticCraft fluids, and a Create mixing recipe also makes it. The crude oil centrifuge recipe is shown below.[15]
- Oritech's refinery outputs Diesel alongside Naphtha. The biofuel, heavy oil and catalyst-bead recipes all do this, and the last two also give sulfuric acid.[15]
- The centrifuge turns Wheat Flour and Yeast Culture into Sourdough.[15]
Plastic
Molten Plastic can be converted into Industrial Foregoing's Plastic in two pack-changed ways: Oritech's cooler, or a Productive Metalworks casting recipe. The casting route involves an Ingot Cast and is shown below. The PneumaticCraft quest "The Amadron Network" quest asks for the Industrial Foregoing plastic together with the Amadron Tablet.[9][15]

PneumaticCraft's compressed iron also spreads into other mods. The Patchouli Guide Book is crafted with a Compressed Iron Ingot, and the pack changed the Mystical Agriculture recipe that turns compressed iron essence into that ingot.[15]
PneumaticCraft machines also work as ComputerCraft or OpenComputers peripherals, which lets you read pressure and control things like the Elevator and the Universal Sensor from Lua.[28]
Creative and endgame links
The pack adds Creative Ascension recipes for PneumaticCraft. One starts from the Manual Compressor and gives the Creative Compressor. The other starts from the Vortex Tube and gives the Creative Compressed Iron Block. Both recipes are shown below.[15]

Which FTB Skies 2 quests use PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?
4 parts
Most of the mod's questing lives in one dedicated chapter, and a few of its fluids and upgrades also show up in other mod chapters. The quests in the main chapter have no titles in the pack files, so here they are by ID and by what they ask you to hand in. Every one of them is an item-submission task.[9]
The main chapter: early game to compressed air
- Start with "Just A Little Pressure, Right?" quest, which asks for a Compressed Iron Ingot. It unlocks "Faster Farming!" quest (Crop Support) and "Pushing Pressure" quest (Pressure Tube).[9]
- "Reinforced Stone" quest follows the tube and asks for Reinforced Stone. After that comes "Generating Air Pressure" quest, the Air Compressor. This quest also needs one other prerequisite quest that isn't in the sources I was given.[9]
- The compressor opens three branches: "Charging Station" quest (Charging Station), "Precious Pressure" quest (Pressure Chamber Wall) and "Thermodynamics" quest (Thermal Lagging).[9]
- Off the charging station: "Charging Module" quest (Charging Module), "Camouflage Applicator" quest (Camouflage Applicator) and "Minigun" quest (Minigun).[9]
- Off the thermal lagging: "Heat Sink" quest (Heat Sink) and "Vortex Tube" quest (Vortex Tube).[9]
Oil, processing and plastic
- From the pressure chamber wall, "The Search For Oil!" quest asks for a Crude Oil Bucket and a Seismic Sensor.[9]
- "Refined Oil" quest wants the Refinery Controller and the Refinery Output.[9]
- "Thermopneumatic Processing Plant" quest asks for the Thermopneumatic Processing Plant. It needs both the refinery quest and the pressure chamber wall quest done.[9]
- That opens four quests: "Fluid Mixer" quest (Fluid Mixer), "Reinforced Pressure Tubes" quest (Reinforced Pressure Tube), "Speed Upgrades" quest (Speed Upgrade) and "The Amadron Network" quest. The last one asks for Industrial Foregoing's plastic plus an Amadron Tablet.[9]
Circuit boards and beyond
- "Making Circuit Boards!" quest asks for a PCB Blueprint, a UV Light Box and an Empty PCB.[9]
- "Etching PCBs" quest asks for an Etching Acid Bucket and an Etching Tank.[9]
- "Finished PCB" quest asks for the Finished PCB. It is the gate to the late-game quests.[9]
- After the finished PCB, four quests open. "Assembly Line" quest is the assembly setup: Assembly Controller, the import and export units (Assembly IO Unit (import), Assembly IO Unit (export)), Assembly Laser, Assembly Platform and Assembly Program: Laser.[9]
- "I am (Compressed) Iron Man!" quest asks for the full armor set: Pneumatic Helmet, Pneumatic Chestplate, Pneumatic Leggings and Pneumatic Boots. "Expanding Capabilities!" quest asks for a Module Expansion Card and a Pressure Gauge Tube Module.[9]
- "Automating Drones to Farm!" quest asks for the Programmer, GPS Tool and Programming Puzzle Piece. It leads to "Harvesting Crops with Drones" quest, a Drone, and then "Harvesting Crops with Drones" quest, which asks for a drone again.[9]
- From the assembly setup, "Advanced Pressure Tubes" quest asks for an Advanced Pressure Tube and "Aerial Interface" quest asks for an Aerial Interface. The advanced tube then unlocks "Pressurize Your System With The Sun!" quest (Solar Compressor), "Turning Pressure Into FE" quest (Pneumatic Dynamo) and "Flux Compressor" quest (Flux Compressor).[9]
Quests in other mods' chapters
The Modern Industrialization chapter has four quests that ask for fluid-related submissions including PneumaticCraft buckets: "Diesel" quest and "Diesel, Again" quest involve the Diesel Bucket, while "Ethanol" quest and "Ethanol" quest involve the Ethanol Bucket.[10]
The Immersive Engineering chapter has "Ethanol" quest, which also asks for an Ethanol Bucket.[11]
The Mekanism chapter has "Radiation and You" quest, a radiation-protection quest. Among its Mekanism hazmat and radiation items, it asks for the Radiation Shielding Upgrade.[12]
Which PneumaticCraft: Repressurized config options matter?
4 parts
PneumaticCraft has a lot of config options, but you only need a handful. Every option shown in this pack's config files that lists a mod default is set to exactly that default, so for those the mod's normal behaviour applies. Here are the ones you're most likely to care about.[20][30]
Air and machines
- The Electric, Flux and Kinetic Compressors all use an efficiency of 40 (machines.electric_compressor_efficiency, machines.flux_compressor_efficiency, machines.kinetic_compressor_efficiency). The manual compressor makes 1,000 air per pump cycle (machines.manual_compressor_air_per_cycle). All of these match the mod defaults.[30]
- Each speed upgrade multiplies machine speed by 1.5 (machines.speed_upgrade_speed_multiplier) and fuel usage or heat generation by 1.649999976158142 (machines.speed_upgrade_usage_multiplier). The multiplier is raised to the power of the number of speed upgrades installed.[30]
- A Logistics Module needs a minimum pressure of 3 to function (logistics.min_pressure). The Pressurized Spawner needs a minimum pressure of 10 (machines.pressurized_spawner_min_pressure).[30]
- The Jackhammer has a base air usage of 50 per block broken (jackhammer.base_air_usage). Vein Miner Plus mode has a maximum range of 10 from the mined block (jackhammer.max_vein_miner_range).[30]
Combat and drones
- The Minigun has a base damage of 6 and a base range of 50 before range upgrades (minigun.base_damage, minigun.base_range).[30]
- Micromissile explosions don't damage terrain or start fires in this pack (micromissiles.damage_terrain, micromissiles.start_fires). Minigun explosive ammo doesn't damage terrain either (minigun.explosive_ammo_terrain_damage).[30]
- Drones may not navigate or teleport into unloaded chunks (drones.allow_navigate_to_unloaded_chunks is false). Offline chunkloading for drones has no time limit because drones.chunkload_offline_time is 0. The drone teleport range has no limit at 0 (drones.max_drone_teleport_range).[30]
- Drones can query the location of any player (drones.allow_any_player_var_query is true) and can teleport into areas protected by other players' Security Stations (drones.allow_teleport_to_protected_area is true). The config suggests you may want to change both on PvP servers.[30]
Survival and safety
- Bandages take 40 ticks to use, restore 6 health points and have a 160 tick cooldown (general.bandage_use_time, general.bandage_health_restored, general.bandage_cooldown).[30]
- Security Stations can be hacked (machines.security_station_allow_hacking is true). Creative players are not exempt from their block protection (machines.security_station_creative_players_exempt is false).[30]
- Pressure Chamber disenchanting blocks Quark Ancient Tomes and all Tetra items (machines.disenchanting_blacklist), because both can lead to enchantment duping.[30]
Client options
The Programmer GUI is set to the EASY widget set (general.programmer_difficulty), so switch to MEDIUM or ADVANCED if you want more widgets. Pneumatic Armor shows pressure as numbers rather than a bar (armor.show_pressure_numerically). The Coordinate Tracker pathfinder is turned off in this pack (armor.path_enabled).[20]
What changed in PneumaticCraft: Repressurized between versions?
3 parts
FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 ships PneumaticCraft: Repressurized 8.2.23, and the mod has been in the pack since 1.0.1 or earlier. The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs for versions 8.2.12 to 8.2.23.[2]
New features and options
- 8.2.18 added more stonecutter recipes for Reinforced and Compressed Stone, matching the vanilla stone ones (brick slabs, stairs and walls).[34]
- 8.2.18 also added "Held" and "Held + Armor" charging modes for Air Canisters and the Pneumatic Armor chestplate charging upgrade, and Ctrl-V now pastes clipboard text into the Aphorism Tile GUI.[34]
- 8.2.14 lets you sneak-click upgrades into machines without opening the machine's GUI.[35]
- 8.2.14 made the armor init sound volume configurable through the armor_init_volume setting in the client config.[35]
- 8.2.13 made the Jet Boots max height configurable through jet_boots_height_limit in the common config, instead of world build height + 64.[36]
- 8.2.15 added a zh_cn translation and updated the ru_ru translation.[37]
Changed behaviour
- 8.2.14: the Pressure Chamber enchantment handler now accepts any enchantable item, even ones you can't enchant directly in an enchanting table.[35]
- 8.2.14: min_fluid_fuel_temperature now accepts -1, which completely disables using hot fluids as fuels.[35]
- 8.2.13: all PneumaticCraft fuel fluids are now in the c:<fluid> fluid tag only, no longer under c:fuels/<fluid>.[36]
- 8.2.16: the potion-based recipes for the Pneumatic Armor night vision, jump and jet boots upgrades are more lenient, which fixes compatibility with mods like Sensible Stackables.[38]
- 8.2.19: Solar Compressors can no longer be waterlogged or moved with pistons (even with Quark installed), as part of fixing a couple of item dupe issues.[39]
Notable fixes
- 8.2.23 fixed a null pointer crash in the Security Station. The author could not reproduce it, but suspected it happens if the GUI is closed during a reboot.[40]
- 8.2.20 fixed drones getting stuck in tricky pathfinding areas such as dense tree growth, tube modules not syncing to far-away clients, and redstone modules not updating after a world reload.[41]
- 8.2.20 also disabled caching of the item handler for Aerial Interface Curios slot access, because Curios inventories can resize dynamically and caching could crash.[41]
- 8.2.19 and 8.2.18 both fixed Minigun ammo use: ammo now gets used up when it should, and is no longer consumed when the ammo has Unbreaking or the gun has Item Life upgrades.[34][39]
- 8.2.18 fixed the Reinforced Pressure Valve not opening the Pressure Chamber GUI and not accepting upgrades.[34]
- 8.2.14 fixed a drone serialization bug that made variable values get forgotten, and added extra validation for pressure tubes leaking air across chunk borders after a reload.[35]
- 8.2.13 fixed Pressure Chamber Valves wrongly reporting a 0x0x0 chamber size, and made the Pneumatic Chestplate honour the Apotheosis Elytra affix.[36]
- 8.2.12 fixed a crash when generating upgrade tooltips.[42]
