What is Reliquary Reincarnations?
Same as in the All the Mods 10 5.5 guide
Reliquary Reincarnations is part of this pack, which ships version 2.0.65 of the mod built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a new addition either: it has been in the pack since an early release.[1]
Unverified No confirmed details are available yet on what the mod adds, who it's aimed at, or how it fits into the pack's progression, so those parts of the overview are on hold until they can be checked.
How do you get started with Reliquary Reincarnations?
4 parts
Reliquary adds staffs, charms, a handgun and a set of potion tools. Many of its crafts also use Slime Pearl, so the smart opening is to craft what you can make right now, then work toward the gear that needs the mod's rarer items.[2][3]
Things you can craft right away
Start with the Emperor's Chalice. It's an infinite water bucket, which is handy early on. One mode drains water and the other places it. Drinking from it restores hunger, but it costs you life.[2][3]

Next, make a Condensed Potion Vial. It's a single-ingredient recipe, and one of the Glowing Water recipes uses it.[2]

Then make Glowing Water, which harms undead enemies. The pack has two recipes for it: one built around glass panes and one that reuses a potion vial.[2][3]

Glowing Water also turns bread into Glowing Bread, which completely restores your hunger. That makes it a great emergency food.[2][3]
Prepare for the handgun
The Hunter's Handgun is a big goal, but you can prepare early. An Empty Magazine and the basic Neutral Shot can both be made without any Reliquary ingredients. The handgun is built in stages from a Barrel Assembly, a Grip Assembly and a Hammer Assembly. The handgun's own recipe is shown after the two recipes below.[2][3]

Collect the key drops
Two drop sources are confirmed for this mod. Molten Core drops from blazes and magma cubes, and Eye of the Storm drops from charged creepers. Molten Core is used in the hammer assembly, so it is a good early target.[2][3]
Once you have a Nebulous Heart, Magicbane is a cheap first upgrade. Its strength grows with each enchantment, and it has a higher chance of Reliquary drops, which helps you gather more ingredients.[2][3]

With a Catalyzing Gland you can build the Apothecary Mortar, which grinds ingredients into potion essence. The Apothecary Cauldron then brews potions from that essence.[2][3]

How does Reliquary Reincarnations work?
6 parts
Reliquary isn't a big tech mod. Its machines are a handful of blocks that each do one job: grow glowstone, brew potions, automate actions, speed up crops and keep mobs away. Here is how each one works in this pack, and which config values you can tweak.[3][4]
Altar of Light
According to its in-game description, the Altar of Light turns redstone into glowstone. You right-click it with redstone until it activates, and after some time a glowstone block appears on top of it. The description says it needs to be in direct sunlight to work.[2][3]
The pack leaves the mod defaults alone here. Activating costs 3 redstone (blocks.altar.redstoneCost). Making the block takes 20 minutes (blocks.altar.timeInMinutes), plus a random extra of up to 5 minutes (blocks.altar.maximumTimeVarianceInMinutes). While active it gives off light level 16 (blocks.altar.outputLightLevelWhileActive).[4]

Alkahestry Tome
The Tome of Alkahestry is the other half of the redstone loop. Shift + Right-Click to activate it. While active it absorbs any redstone and glowstone in your inventory. Put it in a crafting grid with certain items to duplicate them, and the cost comes out of its charge. You can also use it to turn glowstone back into redstone, hopefully at a profit.[2][3]
The pack keeps the tome enabled. The disable.alkahestryTome option is false.[4]

Potion brewing
Brewing uses a mortar and a cauldron. The Apothecary Mortar grinds ingredients into potion essence, and its description says you can combine several ingredients in one mortar. The Apothecary Cauldron then combines essences with nether wart into potions.[2][3]
The cauldron's description says you need a lit fire underneath and water inside to start a brew, and empty potion vials to get the potion out. Craft those as Condensed Potion Vial.[2][3]
- Cook time is 160 in this pack, the same as the mod default (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.cookTime).[4]
- You can add up to 2 glowstone to make a potion more potent (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.glowstoneLimit).[4]
- You can add up to 3 redstone to make a potion last longer (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.redstoneLimit).[4]
- The list of acceptable heat sources (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.heatSources) is empty in the pack's config.[4]

Pedestals and automation
The pedestal automates whatever you put in it. A separate passive pedestal is only a display for items. The config describes several actions a pedestal can run, and each has its own range and timing.[3][4]
- Bucket: picks up liquid blocks or milks cows within a range of 4, with 40 ticks between actions (blocks.pedestal.bucketWrapperRange, blocks.pedestal.bucketWrapperCooldown).[4]
- Melee weapon: attacks within a range of 5, with a 5-tick cooldown between swings (blocks.pedestal.meleeWrapperRange, blocks.pedestal.meleeWrapperCooldown).[4]
- Shears: range 4 and a cooldown of 10 ticks (blocks.pedestal.shearsWrapperRange, blocks.pedestal.shearsWrapperCooldown). The comments in the file for these keys look swapped, so go by the key names.[4]
- Fishing: waits 2 seconds after retracting the hook before it fishes again, and succeeds 80% of the time. On a failure it pulls the hook too late to catch a fish (blocks.pedestal.fishingWrapperRetractDelay, blocks.pedestal.fishingWrapperSuccessRate).[4]
- Redstone: pedestals within a range of 10 turn on if a redstone block is put in, or if redstone dust and transmitting pedestals are powered (blocks.pedestal.redstoneWrapperRange).[4]
All of these match the mod defaults, so nothing about pedestals is changed in this pack.[4]
Fertile Lily Pad and Interdiction Torch
The fertile lily pad speeds up crop growth. In this pack it causes growth tick updates every 10 seconds within a radius of 4. Growth ticks happen most often within a radius of 1 (blocks.fertileLilypad.secondsBetweenGrowthTicks, blocks.fertileLilypad.tileRange, blocks.fertileLilypad.fullPotencyRange).[3][4]
The interdiction torch's tooltip says it repels creatures and projectiles. The config sets a push radius of 5 for mobs (blocks.interdictionTorch.pushRadius). Despite the tooltip, blocks.interdictionTorch.canPushProjectiles is false in this pack, so don't count on it pushing projectiles away. Blacklists for entities and projectiles exist, but both are empty here.[3][4]
Handheld item logistics
The tooltips of a few of the mod's tools describe how they handle storage and movement for you.[3]
- Ender Staff: its tooltip says it uses ender pearls to teleport you around, and that Shift + Scroll cycles through Cast, Long Cast, Node Warp and Bind. A wraith node block is described as the destination in node mode.[3]
- Coin of Fortune: its tooltip says it draws in items and XP. Shift + Right click activates it, and holding Right click super-vacuums.[2][3]
- Emperor's Chalice: its tooltip calls it an infinite water bucket. Enable it to drain water, disable it to place water.[2][3]
The pack changes the recipes for the Ender Staff and the Coin of Fortune, so check these rather than relying on the mod's defaults.[2]

How do you progress through Reliquary Reincarnations?
6 parts
Reliquary Reincarnations doesn't hand you a straight ladder. Progression comes from the components the recipes ask for. Learn which component gates what, and you can plan the whole mod. Below is the order I'd go in, based on the in-pack recipes.[2]
Unverified No quests in this pack involve this mod, so the quest book gives no order to follow here. The order below comes only from the in-pack recipes.
Starter items from common materials
Some things need none of the mod's special components. The Condensed Potion Vial, the Empty Magazine and the Emperor's Chalice are made from common materials. So are the basic bullets: Neutral Shot, Seeker Shot, Concussive Shot, Sand Shot and Blaze Shot. Glowing Water and Glowing Bread also belong here.[2]
The Magicbane is the first real use of a rare component. It needs a Nebulous Heart together with gold and iron.[2]
Catalyzing Gland and Fertile Essence
The Catalyzing Gland opens the next set of items. It goes into the Apothecary Mortar, the Apothecary Cauldron, the Altar of Light, the Touchstone of Midas and the Holy Hand Grenade. It also upgrades bullets: Storm Shot uses it directly, and Buster Shot is built from a Concussive Shot plus a gland.[2]
The gland is also needed for Fertile Essence, which leads into the farming and potion items: Fertile Potion, Aphrodite's Serum and Harvest Rod.[2]
The Infernal line and the handgun
The Infernal Claw is the base of a long chain. It turns into Infernal Claws and Infernal Tear, and it also goes into the Angelheart Vial. The claws and the tear then feed the Infernal Chalice, and the tear feeds the Destruction Catalyst.[2]
The Infernal Chalice builds on the basic Emperor's Chalice from the starter items.
The Hunter's Handgun is a separate chain. You make the Barrel Assembly, Grip Assembly and Hammer Assembly first, then combine them. The grip assembly uses the Empty Magazine from the starter items, so make magazines early.[2]

The handgun needs all the assemblies before you can craft it.
For ammo, you can upgrade a Seeker Shot into Ender Shot with a Nebulous Heart. A Neutral Shot becomes Exorcism Shot with a Zombie Heart.[2]
Pack changes: Bat's Wing
The pack changed the recipes for Angelic Feather, Ender Staff, Coin of Fortune and Interdiction Torch. Each now asks for Bat's Wing on top of the usual Reliquary components, so plan to have that item ready.[2]

Late-game items
The Hero's Medallion sits on top of earlier chains. It builds on the Coin of Fortune (which carries the pack's Bat's Wing change) and the Infernal Tear, and it also asks for a Witch Hat.[2]
Make the Coin of Fortune and the Infernal Tear first.
The Tome of Alkahestry asks for the widest spread of components among the recipes shown here, mixing drops from many different mobs with a book and a wither skeleton skull. Treat it as the capstone of that part of the mod.[2]

Gather every component before you start.
The Cross of Mercy combines several bone and heart drops with a wither skeleton skull. The cold line is its own branch: Frozen Core leads to the Ice Magus Rod, and then to the Glacial Staff together with the Shears of Winter.[2]
Side branch: mob charms
Each mob charm fragment has its own recipe built around that mob's drop component. Examples are Chelicerae for spiders and a Zombie Heart for zombies. A fragment is then combined with leather to make the Charm Belt.[2]
How does Reliquary Reincarnations work with other mods?
2 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.10.2 guide
Reliquary connects to other mods in this pack through recipes. The pack changed several Reliquary recipes so they need items from other mods, and it added recipes in other mods that use Reliquary items as ingredients.[6]
Reliquary recipes changed by the pack
The pack changed the recipes for Angelic Feather, Ender Staff, Coin of Fortune, Interdiction Torch and Rending Gale. Every one of them now takes the same cross-mod item, Bat's Wing. Here are the in-pack recipes.[6]

Which Reliquary Reincarnations config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the FTB Skies 2 1.22.0 guide
Reliquary Reincarnations is mostly left alone in this pack. In the common config, only one value is flagged as changed from the mod default. Every other value that lists a mod default matches it.[7]
The one value the pack changed
The Rending Gale can hold far more feathers here. items.rendingGale.chargeLimit is set to 30,000, where the mod default is 300.[7]
The other Rending Gale costs are untouched. items.rendingGale.boltChargeCost is 100 feathers per lightning bolt, items.rendingGale.castChargeCost is 1 feather per cast in flight mode, and each feather you feed it is worth 100 through items.rendingGale.chargeFeatherWorth.[7]
Drops, loot and disabled features
Reliquary mob drops and chest loot are both on, through mobDropsEnabled and chestLootEnabled. dropCraftingRecipesEnabled is false, so the mob drops do not get crafting recipes.[7]
None of the big systems are disabled. The handgun, charms, the Alkahestry tome, pedestals and the potion system all have their disable.handgun, disable.charms, disable.alkahestryTome, disable.pedestal and disable.potion toggles set to false.[7]
Values worth knowing
- Mob Charm: items.mobCharm.durability is 80, each kill costs 1 through items.mobCharm.damagePerKill, and a special drop repairs 20 via items.mobCharm.dropDurabilityRepair. The Ender Dragon and Wither are on the items.mobCharm.entityBlockList.[7]
- Destruction Catalyst: it uses 3 gunpowder per use (items.destructionCatalyst.gunpowderCost) and stores up to 250 (items.destructionCatalyst.gunpowderLimit). items.destructionCatalyst.explosionRadius is 1, and items.destructionCatalyst.perfectCube is true.[7]
- Void Tear: it holds up to 2,000,000,000 items of its set type (items.voidTear.itemLimit) and starts absorbing as soon as it is set, since items.voidTear.absorbWhenCreated is true.[7]
- Interdiction Torch: blocks.interdictionTorch.canPushProjectiles is false, and blocks.interdictionTorch.pushRadius is 5. The Rending Gale, by contrast, has items.rendingGale.canPushProjectiles set to true.[7]
- Rod of Lyssa: stealing from players is allowed (items.rodOfLyssa.stealFromPlayers is true). items.rodOfLyssa.useLeveledFailureRate is true, so your level affects the failure rate, and items.rodOfLyssa.levelCapForLeveledFormula is 100, the level at which the rate stops improving.[7]
Client settings
Nearly every item HUD sits in the BOTTOM_RIGHT corner. The exception is the Mob Charm HUD, which sits on the RIGHT through hudPositions.mobCharm. You can move any of them to BOTTOM_LEFT, LEFT, TOP_LEFT, TOP, TOP_RIGHT, RIGHT or BOTTOM_RIGHT.[8]
waila_shift_for_info is false, so you don't need to sneak to see the extra tooltip details.[8]
