Reliquary Reincarnations is a mod in FTB Evolution 2 1.4.0, where it is version 2.0.92. Many magical items to help you in your minecraft world (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is Reliquary Reincarnations?

Same as in the All the Mods 10 5.5 guide

Reliquary Reincarnations is part of this pack, which ships version 2.0.65 of the mod built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a new addition either: it has been in the pack since an early release.[1]

Unverified No confirmed details are available yet on what the mod adds, who it's aimed at, or how it fits into the pack's progression, so those parts of the overview are on hold until they can be checked.

How do you get started with Reliquary Reincarnations?

5 parts

Reliquary Reincarnations is a big pile of relics, and in this pack the main systems are left on: the Tome of Alkahestry (disable.alkahestryTome), the potion system (disable.potion), the handgun (disable.handgun) and pedestals (disable.pedestal) are all not disabled. Below is a sensible order for your first crafts. Each recipe block shows the exact in-pack recipe, so you can see what you need.[2]

Step 1: the Tome of Alkahestry

Start with the Tome of Alkahestry. It uses its charge to duplicate items, and in the pack it can hold up to 1,000 charge (items.alkahestryTome.chargeLimit). Right-click it to read the in-game page, which explains how to craft with it.[2][3]

Step 2: the Altar of Light

Next, make the Altar of Light. Feed it redstone and it grows glowstone. In the pack, activating it costs 3 redstone (blocks.altar.redstoneCost) and it takes 20 minutes to create a glowstone block (blocks.altar.timeInMinutes). A random extra of up to 5 minutes can be added on top (blocks.altar.maximumTimeVarianceInMinutes). You can right-click the altar with the tome to fuel it with redstone from the tome.[2][3]

Step 3: Mortar and Cauldron

The potion system starts with two blocks. The Apothecary Mortar grinds ingredients into potion essence, and the Apothecary Cauldron brews potions from that essence. In the pack, a cauldron takes up to 2 glowstone to make a potion more potent (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.glowstoneLimit) and up to 3 redstone to make it last longer (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.redstoneLimit).[2][3]

Later: the handgun and the pack's own recipe

When you want a ranged weapon, the Hunter's Handgun has its own recipe, and one of its parts is the Barrel Assembly. Shots and magazines have recipes too.[3][4]

The pack also adds a fabricating recipe of its own for Magicbane, which is separate from the mod's normal crafting.[4]

    Recipe id: ftb:fabricating/magicbane

This recipe is added by the pack.

Tip: Don't count on mob drops for crafting. In this pack the option for mob drop crafting recipes is set to false (dropCraftingRecipesEnabled), and recipes that turn fragments into spawn eggs are disabled (disable.disableSpawnEggRecipes). Reliquary items can still turn up in chest loot.[2]

    How does Reliquary Reincarnations work?

    7 parts

Reliquary Reincarnations is built around a few special blocks (the Altar of Light, the potion station, pedestals) and a lot of tools that carry their own supply of ammo. Here is how each part works, using the values this pack's config actually sets.[2]

    Altar of Light

The Altar of Light turns redstone into glowstone blocks. In this pack, activating it costs 3 redstone (blocks.altar.redstoneCost). It then takes 20 minutes to create a glowstone block (blocks.altar.timeInMinutes), plus a random extra of up to 5 minutes (blocks.altar.maximumTimeVarianceInMinutes). While it is active it gives off light level 16 (blocks.altar.outputLightLevelWhileActive). All of these values match the mod defaults.[2]

You do not have to carry loose redstone. The Tome of Alkahestry uses its stored charge to duplicate certain items and blocks, and you can right-click an Altar of Light with it to fuel the altar with redstone from the tome. The tome holds up to 1,000 charge here (items.alkahestryTome.chargeLimit).[2][3]

    Potion brewing

The potion system is switched on in this pack (disable.potion is false). It includes the mortar, the altar, potions, tipped arrows and powder.[2]

By their tooltips, the Apothecary Mortar is used to grind ingredients into potion essence, and the Apothecary Cauldron is used to brew potions from potion essence.[3]

    Recipe id: reliquary:apothecary_cauldron

The cauldron has a few limits you can tune. Cook time is 160 (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.cookTime). You can add up to 2 glowstone to make a potion more potent (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.glowstoneLimit) and up to 3 redstone to make it last longer (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.redstoneLimit). These match the mod defaults. The heat source list (blocks.apothecaryCauldron.heatSources) is empty in the pack's file.[2]

What each ingredient does is set by potions.potionMap, a list that maps ingredients to effects. For example, minecraft:sugar maps to speed and haste, and minecraft:blaze_powder maps to strength, instant damage and Flight. The settings potions.maxEffectCount (1 here), potions.threeIngredients, potions.redstoneAndGlowstone and potions.differentDurations only control which potion variants show up in creative tabs and JEI.[2]

Potions also feed other items. Handgun shots such as Blaze Shot can be made with a potion-effects recipe, shown here.[4]

    Pedestals

Pedestals are the mod's automation block: the tooltip says they automate stuff and things placed in them. There is also a Pedestal (Display only), described as a fancy display of items.[3]

Both kinds come in many dye colours, and both are enabled in this pack (disable.pedestal and disable.passivePedestal are false).[2][5][6]

What a pedestal does depends on the item you put in it. The pack's config sets these ranges and cooldowns, all equal to the mod defaults:[2]

Some tools work from a pedestal too. The Harvest Rod automatically hoes, plants, bonemeals and breaks crops within range 4, with 5 ticks between actions. The Hero's Medallion checks pedestals within range 5 for mending items to repair, trying every 20 ticks and using up to 5 XP each time. Mob charms in pedestals keep monsters from attacking players within range 21. The Rending Gale buffs players with flight within range 30 of a pedestal, at a cost of 2 per second.[2]

    Growth and protection blocks

The Lilypad of Fertility speeds up crop growth. It causes growth ticks every 10 seconds in a radius of 4, and the area closest to it, a radius of 1, gets them most often (blocks.fertileLilypad.secondsBetweenGrowthTicks, blocks.fertileLilypad.tileRange, blocks.fertileLilypad.fullPotencyRange).[2][3]

The Interdiction Torch pushes mobs out of a radius of 5 (blocks.interdictionTorch.pushRadius). In this pack blocks.interdictionTorch.canPushProjectiles is false.[2]

Tools that store their own ammo

Many Reliquary tools keep an internal supply, which you top up by consuming items from your inventory. The pack's limits are:[2]

    • Ender Staff: stores up to 250 ender pearls. A cast costs 1 pearl, and so does a warp to a Wraith Node.[2]
    • Ender Staff modes: its tooltip says Shift + Scroll cycles through Cast, Long Cast, Node Warp and Bind. The Wraith Node block is the destination for the staff in wraith node mode.[3]
    • Harvest Rod: holds up to 250 bonemeal and uses 1 per use. Its area actions have a radius of 2.[2]
    • Destruction Catalyst: holds up to 250 gunpowder and uses 3 per use. It breaks only the mundane blocks on its list, such as dirt, cobblestone, stone and deepslate.[2]
    • Glacial Staff: holds up to 250 snowballs (items.glacialStaff.snowballLimit), uses 1 per use (items.glacialStaff.snowballCost) and its snowballs do 3 damage (items.glacialStaff.snowballDamage).[2]
    • Ice Magus Rod: holds up to 250 snowballs (items.iceMagusRod.snowballLimit), uses 1 per use (items.iceMagusRod.snowballCost) and its snowballs do 2 damage (items.iceMagusRod.snowballDamage).[2]
    • Rending Gale: holds up to 300 feathers. A lightning bolt costs 100 feathers, and casting in flight mode costs 1.[2]
    • Sojourner Staff: stores up to 1,500 of each item type and places torches up to 30 blocks away.[2]
    • Infernal Chalice: holds up to 500,000 mB of lava.[2]
    • Void Tear: holds up to 2,000,000,000 items of the type it is set to.[2]

    Hunter's Handgun

The Hunter's Handgun is enabled in this pack (disable.handgun is false). It reaches its fastest reload and shortest cooldown at experience level 20 (items.handgun.maxSkillLevel).[2]

By its tooltip, the handgun fires on right click and reloads when you hold right click. Parts such as the Barrel Assembly and Grip Assembly are listed as handgun parts. Each shot type has its own effect: Buster Shot does large area damage, Exorcism Shot is effective against undead, and Seeker Shot seeks its targets.[3]

    What this pack changes

Every value in the config source that shows a mod default matches it, so the numbers above are also the mod's own. There are still pack-level differences worth knowing. Recipes that craft spawn eggs from fragments are disabled (disable.disableSpawnEggRecipes is true), and the Magicbane has a recipe added by the pack.[2][4]

How do you progress through Reliquary Reincarnations?

      4 parts

The recipe dump for this pack lists 53 shaped and 39 shapeless crafting recipes that make Reliquary Reincarnations items, so most of the mod is crafted at a normal crafting table. Below is a walk through the groups of recipes the pack has, starting with the blocks you place.[4]

Unverified The sources here do not show a tier order for this mod. The pack's quest book is where any ordering would be told, and the sources here do not show it, so this page groups items by type rather than ranking them.

      Workstations

The placeable blocks are the Altar of Light, the Apothecary Cauldron and the Apothecary Mortar. Each one drops itself when broken, so you can pick it up and move it.[4][7][8][9]

The Lilypad of Fertility and the Interdiction Torch are also blocks that drop themselves. Pedestals come in plain and passive versions across several colours, and each has its own shaped crafting recipe.[4][5][10][11][12]

      The pack's own recipe

Magicbane is the one Reliquary item in the dump whose recipe is added by the pack. It uses a fabricating recipe instead of a normal crafting table recipe, so follow the one below rather than any mod default.[4]

Which Reliquary Reincarnations config options matter?

        5 parts

Here are the Reliquary Reincarnations options you are most likely to touch, all in chestLootEnabled's file, config/reliquary-common.toml. Every numeric option in this pack's file matches the mod default, so the pack did not change any of those values. Yes/no options and lists are listed without a default, so the sources here do not show whether the pack changed them.[2]

        Feature switches

All the big systems are on. disable.pedestal, disable.passivePedestal, disable.potion, disable.handgun, disable.charms and disable.alkahestryTome are all false, so pedestals, the potion system, the handgun, charms and the Alkahestry tome are all available.[2]
