Reliquary Reincarnations in All the Mods 11

Reliquary Reincarnations is part of this pack, which ships version 2.0.65 of the mod built for Minecraft 1.21.1. It isn't a new addition either: it has been in the pack since an early release.^[1]

Unverified No confirmed details are available yet on what the mod adds, who it's aimed at, or how it fits into the pack's progression, so those parts of the overview are on hold until they can be checked.

Reliquary Reincarnations has a lot of gadgets, and you can craft the early ones in the regular crafting grid. The recipe blocks below show the exact in-pack recipes, so you don't have to guess. Here is the order I'd go in, starting with the tools that unlock the most.^[2]

Potion tools: Mortar and Cauldron

Start with the Apothecary Mortar, which is used to grind ingredients into potion essence. Then make the Apothecary Cauldron, which is used to brew potions from potion essence.^[2][3]

Safety and convenience

Each of these has a crafting-grid recipe in the pack.^[2]

• Interdiction Torch repels creatures and projectiles.^[2][3]
• Hero's Medallion stores experience for you. Right click to reclaim levels.^[2][3]
• Lantern Of Paranoia places torches in unlit areas automatically. Shift + Right-Click to activate it.^[2][3]

Going by the mod's own in-game text, which currently reads as described here, Reliquary Reincarnations has a few placed blocks that work like small machines: the Altar of Light, the Apothecary Mortar and Cauldron, and pedestals. The sources do not explain power or fluid piping for them, so this page sticks to what they do confirm.^[3]

Altar of Light and the Tome of Alkahestry

The Altar of Light is the simplest of them. Its tooltip says to feed it redstone and it will grow glowstone. The Tome of Alkahestry's in-game text says you can right-click Altars of Light to fuel them with redstone from the tome.^[3]

The Tome of Alkahestry has its own job too. Its text says you craft certain items and blocks with the tome to duplicate them, and its tooltip says it uses its charge to do so. The tooltip shows the current charge out of a maximum, and right-clicking the tome reads its in-game explanation.^[3]

Potion brewing: mortar and cauldron

The in-game tooltips split potion making across two blocks. The Apothecary Mortar is used to grind ingredients into potion essence, and the Apothecary Cauldron is used to brew potions from that essence.^[3]

Potions also feed the handgun. The pack has a dedicated recipe type for making shots from potion effects, and each of those recipes gives 8 shots of one kind (Blaze, Buster, Concussive, Ender, Exorcism, Neutral, Sand, Seeker or Storm).^[4]

Pedestals

The Pedestal is the mod's automation block: its in-game description is that it automates stuff and things placed in it. There is also a Pedestal (Display only), which the text describes as a fancy display of items. Pedestals come in colour variants.^{[3][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]}

Teleporting with the Ender Staff and Wraith Nodes

According to its tooltip, the Ender Staff uses ender pearls to let you teleport around. Shift + scroll cycles its modes: Cast, Long Cast, Node Warp and Bind. The tooltip shows where the staff is currently bound, or warns you if the bound spot is out of range.^[3]

The Wraith Node block is described as a destination for the Ender Staff in wraith node mode, which the staff's mode list calls Node Warp.^[3]

Crop growth and the pack's recipe change

The Lilypad of Fertility is described as speeding up growth of crops. This is one place where the pack changes the mod: its script removes the default recipe and replaces it with a Mystical Agriculture awakening recipe.^[3][4][12]

If you would rather speed up crops by hand, the in-game text says the Fertile Potion causes plants to grow.^[3]

Handgun parts and shots

The Hunter's Handgun fires on right click and reloads when you hold right click, going by its tooltip. Its parts are the Barrel Assembly, a Grip Assembly and a Hammer Assembly. The language file lists one magazine type for each shot type. The shots have different jobs: Exorcism Shots are effective against undead, Sand Shots blind the target, and Buster Shots do large area damage.^[3]

Experience and fluids

The mod registers an Experience fluid. The Hero's Medallion is described as storing experience for you, and right-clicking it reclaims levels. Shift + scroll changes how many levels it gives per click, and it can also be set to stop filling at a chosen number of levels remaining on the player.^[3]

The Infernal Chalice is described as storing lava and protecting you from lava damage. The Emperor's Chalice is described as an infinite water bucket: enable it to drain water and disable it to place water.^[3][13]

The pack also adds an alchemist cauldron fill recipe in its Iron's Spellbooks scripts that fills the Emperor's Chalice with 1,000 water.^[13]

Other placed blocks and utilities

• Interdiction Torch: the in-game text says it repels creatures and projectiles.^[3][14]
• Coin of Fortune: its tooltip says it draws in items and XP. Shift + right click activates it, and holding right click super-vacuums.^[3]
• Glowing Water: its tooltip says it harms undead enemies.^[3]

Reliquary items in other machines

The pack uses a Reliquary item as an ingredient in a machine recipe from another mod. If Modern Industrialization is loaded, its runic crucible has a recipe that combines a Forbidden Arcanus soul, a Holy Hand Grenade, 2,500 of source fluid and 1,000 of liquid aureal to make an enchanted soul. See Forbidden and Arcanus for that side of the chain.^[15]

The sources I have for this mod don't lay out a tier ladder, so I won't invent one. What they do show is which items have recipes in the pack and a few details about how those recipes work. Use that as a map of what you can build.^[4]

What the pack's recipes show

• Most of the mod's gear comes from a crafting table. The recipe dump counts 69 shaped crafting recipes for this mod, covering 56 different results.^[4]
• The Hunter's Handgun (Hunter's Handgun) has its own shaped recipe. So do the Barrel Assembly, Grip Assembly and Hammer Assembly.^[4]
• Ammo comes in batches. Each shot recipe, such as Blaze Shot, makes 8 shots, and every shot type also has a separate potion-effects version that makes 8 as well.^[4]
• Magazines like the Blaze Magazine are made with the mod's potion-effects recipe type. The Empty Magazine is a normal shaped recipe.^[4]
• A few recipes give more than one item. Glowing Bread makes 3 per craft and Holy Hand Grenade makes 4.^[4]
• The Apothecary Cauldron and Apothecary Mortar are placed blocks that drop themselves when broken. The same goes for the Altar of Light.^{[4][16][17][18]}

The one pack-specific change

The Lilypad of Fertility is not a normal crafting recipe in this pack. The pack adds an awakening recipe for it through Mystical Agriculture, so you make it at an awakening setup instead of a crafting table.^[4]

Unverified The sources here do not show any quest chapter that covers Reliquary Reincarnations, so the order in which the pack expects you to unlock its items is unverified. Check the in-game quest book if you want to know where the mod fits.
