What is Create: Enchantment Industry?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Create: Enchantment Industry adds more tools and methods for handling experience and enchanting inside Create. Its project page says the mod currently offers these, so if you like automating everything with belts, spouts and deployers, you can automate enchanting too.[1]
The pack includes version 2.5.3b of the mod.[2]
What it adds
The project page lists what the mod currently offers. These are the features that matter most for a Create player:[1]
- Liquid Experience, listed as a current feature: high-density experience that is easy to store and transport.[1]
- Experience Hatch, listed as a current feature: lets you interact with a fluid tank directly, using your own experience.[1]
- Mechanical Grindstone, listed as a current feature: a fully automated Grindstone with an extra sanding function.[1]
- Blaze Enchanter and Blaze Forger, listed as current features: a blaze acts as a smart enchanting table and as a smart anvil.[1]
- Printer, listed as a current feature: copies written books, enchanted books, name tags, train schedules and more.[1]
- Experience Lantern, listed as a current feature: absorbs experience and also works on contraptions.[1]
- Hyper-enchantmechanism, listed as a current feature: lets you break the limits of enchantments.[1]
- Mending on belt: items with Mending can be repaired using a Spout and Liquid Experience.[1]
- Deployer and Crushing Wheel tweak, listed as current features: their kills drop experience nuggets. Deployers also benefit from a sword with Sweeping Edge.[1]
The page also lists, among the features it currently offers, Apotheosis integration such as the Brass Bookshelf, Infuser and Gem Cutter, and an optional Classic Blaze Enchanter from the old v1.0 mod.[1]
Where it fits in the pack
Unverified The sources I have don't show any quests for this mod, and the mod isn't on the ATM Star path. There is also no in-jar guidebook to confirm progression details, so I can't say at what stage of the pack you're meant to reach it.
How do you get started with Create: Enchantment Industry?
5 parts
Welcome to Create: Enchantment Industry! This mod brings experience and enchanting into your Create factory. Almost everything here runs on one resource, Liquid Experience, which is high-density experience that's easy to store and move around. So your first goal is simple: start making Liquid Experience, then build the machines that use it.[1]
Step 1: Build a Mechanical Grindstone
Your first craft should be the Mechanical Grindstone. It's a fully automated grindstone with an extra sanding function, and it can strip enchantments off enchanted items. Most importantly, it turns experience items into Liquid Experience.[1][3][4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:crafting/mechanical_grindstone
Grind Nugget of Experience or Block of Experience and you get Liquid Experience back. Nuggets are easy to farm, because kills made by a Deployer or Crushing Wheel drop experience nuggets.[1][3]

Other ways to get Liquid Experience
If you already have bottles of enchanting, you can empty them to get Liquid Experience plus the glass bottle back.[3]
Emptying (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:emptying/experience_bottle
This pack also connects the mod to other experience sources. The pack has changed the recipes that empty Experience Droplet and grind Experience Gem and Greater Experience Gem into Liquid Experience. If you're already running those mods, this is a great head start.[3]

Step 2: Bank your own XP with an Experience Hatch
Next, grab an Experience Hatch. It lets you work directly with a fluid tank using your own experience, so you can store your levels as liquid and take them back out later. You make it with item application on a Fluid Hatch from Create: Dragons Plus, which this mod requires anyway.[1][3][4]
Item Application (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:item_application/experience_hatch
Step 3: Automate enchanting with the Blaze Enchanter
Once you have Liquid Experience flowing, it's time for the Blaze Enchanter. It works like an Enchanting Table and runs on Liquid Experience. Before enchanting, you set the enchant level on its panel. For reference, the level cap of a vanilla enchanting table is 30.[4]
Smithing Transform
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:smithing/blaze_enchanter
The panel is also a filter slot. Put an item there to enter Template Enchanting Mode, and the Blaze Enchanter only produces enchantments that item supports. It can then add those enchantments to a blank Enchanting Template, which you press from a Block of Experience.[3][4]

Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:pressing/enchanting_template
What comes next
- The Blaze Forger is a smart anvil. It can apply Enchanting Templates, merge two of the same item and strip enchantments off items.[1][3][4]
- The Printer copies written books, enchanted books, name tags, train schedules and more.[1][3]
- The Experience Lantern absorbs experience and also works on contraptions.[1][3]

How does Create: Enchantment Industry work?
10 parts
Everything in this mod runs on one thing: Liquid Experience. It's experience packed into a high-density fluid, so you can store it and move it around with your normal Create fluid setup. Once you have a steady supply, you can automate enchanting, anvil work, book copying and more.[1]
Getting Liquid Experience
- Empty Experience Bottle with Create's emptying process. You get Liquid Experience and an empty glass bottle back.[3]
- In this pack you can also empty Experience Droplet into Liquid Experience. The pack changed this recipe, so it's a handy bridge if you already farm experience with Mystical Agriculture.[3]
- The Mechanical Grindstone grinds Nugget of Experience, Block of Experience, Nugget of Super Experience and Block of Super Experience into Liquid Experience.[3]
- The grindstone also turns Ars experience gems into Liquid Experience, including Experience Gem and Greater Experience Gem. The pack changed both of those recipes.[3]

Changed by the pack
Mechanical Grindstone
The Mechanical Grindstone is a fully automated grindstone, and it can also do sanding. Besides grinding experience items into fluid, it disenchants enchanted items. That makes it your main way to recycle enchanted gear back into Liquid Experience.[1][4]
In this pack, the stress impact is set to 4 for the grindstone itself and 4 for its drain function. Plan your rotational power with that in mind.[5]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:crafting/mechanical_grindstone
Experience Hatch and Experience Lantern
The Experience Hatch lets you use your own experience directly with a fluid tank. You can store your levels in it or pull them back out.[1][4]
Item Application (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:item_application/experience_hatch
The Experience Lantern absorbs experience, and it also works on contraptions. In this pack it holds 1,000 mB and can drain 50 mB of experience from a player every 0.5 tick. Both values are the mod defaults.[1][5]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:crafting/experience_lantern
Blaze Enchanter
The Blaze Enchanter works like an Enchanting Table. Feed it Liquid Experience to activate it. Before it can enchant anything, you have to set the enchant level on its panel.[4]
Here's a big pack change: a vanilla enchanting table caps at 30, and so does the mod's default, but All the Mods 10 raises the Blaze Enchanter's regular enchanting cap to 50. Higher isn't always better, though. Some enchantments won't show up when the Enchanting Level is too high.[4][5]
The enchanter holds 4,000 mB of fluid in this pack. The item you enchant matters too: golden chest armor has better enchantability than diamond chest armor, so it rolls relatively better enchantments.[4][5]
Smithing Transform
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:smithing/blaze_enchanter
Template Enchanting Mode
The panel doubles as a filter slot. Right-click it with an item and the enchanter switches to Template Enchanting Mode. In that mode it only produces enchantments the template item supports, and it enchants Enchanting Template instead of normal gear.[4]
- Right-click the panel's filter slot with the item type you want enchantments for, for example diamond chest armor.[4]
- Give the Blaze Enchanter a blank Enchanting Template.[4]
- The enchanter adds enchantments valid for that item to the template. Different materials and item types give different enchantments.[4]
Pressing (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:pressing/enchanting_template
Blaze Forger
The Blaze Forger is the anvil counterpart, and it also runs on Liquid Experience. It merges enchantments on two of the same item like an anvil does, but with no Repair Cost. It can also merge Enchanting Templates together.[4]
The Forger's most important job is applying Enchanting Templates to items. That's how the template workflow comes full circle: roll enchantments onto a template with the Enchanter, then stamp them onto gear with the Forger. It can also strip enchantments from equipment, books or templates onto a blank Enchanting Template. It holds 4,000 mB in this pack.[4][5]
Super Enchanting
Both blaze machines have two stomachs. The second tank can't be filled with piped Liquid Experience. You have to feed it an eligible Super Experience item, such as Cake o' Enchanting. Once fed, the blaze starts seething and enters Super Enchanting mode.[4]

Filling (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:filling/experience_cake
In Super Enchanting mode, the Blaze Enchanter gets a much higher level cap and can produce Treasure Enchantments. It only processes Super Enchanting Template in this mode. All the Mods 10 raises the super enchanting cap to 100, up from the mod default of 60.[4][5]
Pressing (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:pressing/super_enchanting_template
A super-enchanting Blaze Forger can go past the vanilla enchantment level cap when merging, and it can merge conflicting enchantments together. It only processes and applies Super Enchanting Templates. In this pack, Super Enchanting and Super Forging ignore enchantment compatibility, and the max enchantment level in Super Enchanting is extended by 1.[4][5]
Lightning isn't only a hazard. In this pack, a regular lightning strike always transforms a Block of Experience, because the chance is left at its default of 1.[5]
Unverified The sources don't state what a Block of Experience becomes when lightning hits it. The advancement for obtaining Super Experience suggests a link, but this is unconfirmed.
Automating the blaze machines
You can fully automate both the Blaze Enchanter and the Blaze Forger with a Mechanical Arm. The arm inserts the items to process, feeds experience fuel, and takes out the results. For the Enchanter, that includes pulling out invalid items so nothing gets stuck.[4]
Printer
The Printer copies and edits items. It can copy Written Books and Enchanted Books, rename items, change a package's pattern, change a package's address, and print Create's copiable items. All of these functions are enabled in this pack, and the Printer holds 4,000 mB of fluid.[1][4][5]
Enchanted book copying uses the default cost multiplier of 1. The Printer's denylist fully blocks copying books that carry a denied enchantment. Custom names are printed as italic custom names, not as the item's real name.[5]
Deployer and Crushing Wheel tweaks
The mod makes Create's killing machines useful for experience. In this pack, mobs killed by a Deployer drop experience, and so do blocks a Deployer mines, both at full scale. Deployers also collect dropped experience as Experience Nuggets, and their held item can be repaired by Mending. Deployers even get a sweep attack when they hold a sword with Sweeping Edge.[1][5]
Crushing Wheel kills can also drop experience here, with the chance and amount left at the mod defaults. Tune them with kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpChance and kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpScale.[5]
Unverified The project page lists an optional Classic Blaze Enchanter and several Apotheosis integrations, including the Brass Bookshelf, Infuser and Gem Cutter. Whether these are active in All the Mods 10 7.0 isn't confirmed by the pack sources.
How do you progress through Create: Enchantment Industry?
6 parts
Heads up before we dive in: this pack has no quests for this mod, so there's no questline guiding you. The path below follows the in-pack recipes, from the first machine you can build to the super experience endgame.[3]
The Mechanical Grindstone
Your first build is the Mechanical Grindstone. It's a basic shaped crafting recipe made from early Create parts, so you can make it as soon as your andesite setup is running.[3]

Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:crafting/mechanical_grindstone
Getting Liquid Experience
Almost everything in this mod runs on Liquid Experience, and the pack gives you a lot of ways to make it. You can empty vanilla bottles o' enchanting, which also gives you the glass bottle back. You can also grind Create's Nugget of Experience and Block of Experience into it.[3]
Emptying (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:emptying/experience_bottle
Grinding (create_enchantment_industry)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:grinding/experience_block
Other mods in the pack can feed your experience line too. You can grind experience gems from Ars Nouveau and Ars Technica, and you can empty a Mystical Agriculture Experience Droplet into Liquid Experience.[3]
- Experience Gem and Greater Experience Gem can be ground into Liquid Experience. The pack has changed both of these recipes.[3]
- Giant Experience Gem and Gargantuan Experience Gem can be ground into Liquid Experience using the mod's own recipes.[3]
- Experience Droplet can be emptied into Liquid Experience. This is another recipe the pack has changed.[3]
Templates and Experience Blocks
When you've got a steady supply of Create experience blocks, you can press them into an Enchanting Template. Those same blocks are also used to make the Experience Lantern and the Experience Hatch. The hatch is made by item application onto a Fluid Hatch.[3]

Blaze Upgrades and the Printer
This is the big jump. The Blaze Enchanter and the Blaze Forger are both smithing upgrades of a Blaze Burner. They use the Smithing Template, so you'll need a Blaze Burner and one of those templates for each machine.[3]

The Printer is a shaped crafting recipe built around a Create Spout. It needs brass, so it belongs in your brass-tier Create setup.[3]
Super Experience
At the top of the tree sit Nugget of Super Experience and Block of Super Experience. Nuggets craft up into the block, the block grinds into Liquid Experience, and pressing it is where the Super Enchanting Template comes from.[3]

Side Branch: Cake o' Enchanting
You can also make a snack. Start by compacting a Cake Base o' Enchanting, a recipe the pack has changed, then fill it to get a Cake o' Enchanting. The cake can be cut into Cake Slice o' Enchanting either with Create's cutting or with Farmer's Delight cutting, and the pack has changed the Farmer's Delight version too.[3]

How does Create: Enchantment Industry work with other mods?
3 parts
Create: Enchantment Industry is built as an add-on for Create, so most of its connections run through Create itself. It also requires Create: Dragons Plus, and in this pack several other mods feed into its Liquid Experience system too.[1][3]
Create and Create: Dragons Plus
Most of the machines come from basic Create parts. The Mechanical Grindstone, the Printer and the Experience Lantern are all put together from Create components, so your first Create workshop already covers them.[3]

The Experience Lantern absorbs experience and also works on a contraption.
The two blaze machines are upgrades of Create's Blaze Burner. You make the Blaze Enchanter and the Blaze Forger in a smithing table with the Smithing Template from Create: Dragons Plus. The Enchanter acts as a smart enchanting table and the Forger as a smart anvil.[1][3]

Create's own experience items work with this mod in both directions. You can grind a Nugget of Experience or a Block of Experience into Liquid Experience. You can also compact Liquid Experience back into a Block of Experience, and pressing that block gives you an Enchanting Template.[3]

Which Create: Enchantment Industry config options matter?
6 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Good news: this pack only changes the Blaze Enchanter's level limits in the Create: Enchantment Industry server config. Every other value that lists a mod default is left at that default. These changes make the Blaze Enchanter much more generous, so they are the ones to remember.[6]
Changed by the pack: Blaze Enchanter levels
- kinetics.enchantments.blazeEnchanterMaxEnchantLevel is 50 in this pack. The mod default is 30. It is the max experience level a Blaze Enchanter can use in Regular Enchanting.[6]
- kinetics.enchantments.blazeEnchanterMaxSuperEnchantLevel is 100 in this pack. The mod default is 60. It is the max experience level a Blaze Enchanter can use in Super Enchanting.[6]
Breaking enchantment limits
kinetics.enchantments.enchantmentMaxLevelExtension is 1, the mod default, so Super Enchanting extends the max enchantment level by 1. kinetics.enchantments.ignoreEnchantmentCompatibility is true, so Super Enchanting and Super Forging ignore enchantment compatibility. kinetics.enchantments.splitEnchantmentRespectLevelExtension is false, so enchantment splitting does not respect the over-capped level.[6]
Experience from Deployers and Crushing Wheels
Experience drops from both machines are switched on. kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXp and kinetics.deployerKillDropXp are true, and so is kinetics.deployerMineDropXp for blocks the Deployer mines. The Crushing Wheel chance and scale (kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpChance and kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpScale) are at their mod defaults. So are the Deployer scales, kinetics.deployerKillXpScale and kinetics.deployerMineXpScale, which are both 1.[6]
kinetics.deployerCollectXp is true, so Deployers collect dropped experience as Experience Nuggets. That matters because kinetics.deployerMendItem (Mending on the Deployer's held item) needs it, and it is also true. kinetics.deployerSweepAttack is true as well.[6]
Fluid capacities and Liquid Experience
- The Blaze Enchanter, Blaze Forger and Printer each hold 4,000 mB, the mod default. See kinetics.fluids.blazeEnchanterFluidCapacity, kinetics.fluids.blazeForgerFluidCapacity and kinetics.fluids.printerFluidCapacity.[6]
- The Experience Lantern holds 1,000 mB (kinetics.fluids.experienceLanternFluidCapacity) and drains 50 from the player per step (kinetics.fluids.experienceLanternDrainRate). Both are mod defaults.[6]
- kinetics.fluids.experienceVaporizeOnPlacement is true, so Liquid Experience vaporizes into Experience Orbs when you place it.[6]
Printer settings
Every Printer function is enabled: Enchanted Book (kinetics.fluids.enableEnchantedBookPrinting), Written Book (kinetics.fluids.enableWrittenBookPrinting), custom names (kinetics.fluids.enableCustomNamePrinting), package address (kinetics.fluids.enablePackageAddressPrinting), package pattern (kinetics.fluids.enablePackagePatternPrinting) and Create copiable items (kinetics.fluids.enableCreateCopiableItemPrinting). kinetics.fluids.printingEnchantedBookCostMultiplier is 1, and kinetics.fluids.printingGenerationChange is -3, the mod default. A value of 1 there would prevent copying a copy of a copy. The Printer denylist still stops enchanted books from being copied (kinetics.fluids.printingEnchantedBookDenylistStopCopying is true). kinetics.fluids.printingCustomNameAsItemName is false, so printed custom names show in italic rather than as a proper item name.[6]
Other values
Both kinetics.stressValues.v1.impact.mechanical_grindstone and kinetics.stressValues.v1.impact.grindstone_drain are set to 4 in this pack. The source doesn't list a mod default for these, so I can't say whether the pack changed them. kinetics.processing.regularLightningStrikeTransformXpBlockChance is 1, the mod default, which is the probability of a regular lightning strike transforming a Block of Experience.[6]
