What is Create: Enchantment Industry?
2 parts
Create: Enchantment Industry adds more tools and methods for handling experience and enchanting inside Create. Its project page says the mod currently offers these, so if you like automating everything with belts, spouts and deployers, you can automate enchanting too.[1]
The pack includes version 2.5.3b of the mod.[2]
What it adds
The project page lists what the mod currently offers. These are the features that matter most for a Create player:[1]
- Liquid Experience, listed as a current feature: high-density experience that is easy to store and transport.[1]
- Experience Hatch, listed as a current feature: lets you interact with a fluid tank directly, using your own experience.[1]
- Mechanical Grindstone, listed as a current feature: a fully automated Grindstone with an extra sanding function.[1]
- Blaze Enchanter and Blaze Forger, listed as current features: a blaze acts as a smart enchanting table and as a smart anvil.[1]
- Printer, listed as a current feature: copies written books, enchanted books, name tags, train schedules and more.[1]
- Experience Lantern, listed as a current feature: absorbs experience and also works on contraptions.[1]
- Hyper-enchantmechanism, listed as a current feature: lets you break the limits of enchantments.[1]
- Mending on belt: items with Mending can be repaired using a Spout and Liquid Experience.[1]
- Deployer and Crushing Wheel tweak, listed as current features: their kills drop experience nuggets. Deployers also benefit from a sword with Sweeping Edge.[1]
The page also lists, among the features it currently offers, Apotheosis integration such as the Brass Bookshelf, Infuser and Gem Cutter, and an optional Classic Blaze Enchanter from the old v1.0 mod.[1]
Where it fits in the pack
Unverified The sources I have don't show any quests for this mod, and the mod isn't on the ATM Star path. There is also no in-jar guidebook to confirm progression details, so I can't say at what stage of the pack you're meant to reach it.
How do you get started with Create: Enchantment Industry?
4 parts
Create: Enchantment Industry gives Create machines for handling experience and enchanting. It needs Create and Create: Dragons Plus to run. Here's the order I'd tackle things in this pack.[1]
First: get Liquid Experience flowing
Start with the Mechanical Grindstone. It's a fully automated grindstone with an extra sanding function, and it's one of your main sources of Liquid Experience. It can disenchant items into liquid, and it also grinds Nuggets and Blocks of Experience into liquid.[1][3][4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:crafting/mechanical_grindstone
This is the mod's own recipe, the pack does not change it.
Emptying a bottle of experience also gives you Liquid Experience, so you have more than one way to get started.[3]
Second: the Blaze Enchanter and Blaze Forger
Next come the two blaze machines. The Blaze Enchanter acts as a smart enchanting table, and the Blaze Forger acts as a smart anvil. Both are made with smithing recipes that the pack leaves as the mod made them.[1][3]
Smithing Transform
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:smithing/blaze_enchanter
Smithing Transform
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:smithing/blaze_forger
The Enchanter can randomly enchant a compatible item at the level you select, or write one suitable enchantment into a blank Enchanting Template. The Forger can apply an enchanted book or filled template to an item, merge matching carriers, or extract one enchantment into a blank template.[4]
Blank templates come from pressing a Block of Experience.[3]

Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:pressing/enchanting_template
Third: Printer, Hatch and Lantern
The Printer copies written books, enchanted books, name tags, train schedules and more. It can also rename items and change a package's pattern or address.[1][4]
The Experience Hatch lets you store your own experience in a fluid tank and retrieve it again. The Experience Lantern absorbs experience and also works on contraptions.[1][4]

Fourth: the Apotheosis machines
This pack includes the Apotheosis integration: the Infuser, the Gem Cutter and the Affix Augmentor. The pack changes how these machines are made, so use the pack's recipes shown below and not the mod's defaults.[1][3]

How does Create: Enchantment Industry work?
8 parts
Create: Enchantment Industry turns experience and enchanting into things you can pipe, belt and automate. The core idea is Liquid Experience: high-density experience that is easy to store and transport. Most machines in the mod either make it, spend it, or use it to enchant, copy or upgrade items.[1]
Getting experience into fluid form
The Mechanical Grindstone is a fully automated grindstone with an extra sanding function. It disenchants items and gives you the experience as Liquid Experience, and the mod even has an advancement for collecting 1,000,000 mB from Mechanical Grindstones. In this pack both kinetics.stressValues.v1.impact.mechanical_grindstone and kinetics.stressValues.v1.impact.grindstone_drain are set to 4, so plan your stress budget around that.[1][4][5]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:crafting/mechanical_grindstone
The grindstone also turns experience items into Liquid Experience through its own grinding recipes. Examples are Create's experience blocks and nuggets, plus gems from Ars Nouveau and Ars Technica. Other fluid conversions go through Create's emptying, like this one for Mystical Agriculture's droplet, which the pack changed.[3]
Emptying (create)
Recipe id: create_enchantment_industry:emptying/mysticalagriculture/experience_droplet
This emptying recipe is changed by the pack.
You can also feed a tank yourself. The Experience Hatch lets you interact with a fluid tank directly using your own experience, to store it and to get it back.[1][4]
Experience from Deployers and Crushing Wheels
Kills made by a Deployer or a Crushing Wheel drop experience, as Nuggets of Experience. All of this is switched on in the pack. The Crushing Wheel side is controlled by kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXp, with the drop chance and scale in kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpChance and kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpScale. The pack leaves both at the mod defaults.[1][5]
- kinetics.deployerCollectXp lets a Deployer collect dropped experience as Experience Nuggets.[5]
- kinetics.deployerMendItem lets Mending apply to the item the Deployer holds, but it needs the collect option above to be on.[5]
- Deployer kills and mined blocks also drop experience, with both scales at 1 in the pack (kinetics.deployerKillXpScale and kinetics.deployerMineXpScale).[5]
- A Deployer holding a sword with Sweeping Edge can sweep, controlled by kinetics.deployerSweepAttack.[1][5]
Mending also works on a belt. Items enchanted with Mending can be repaired using a Spout and Liquid Experience.[1]
One thing to watch: kinetics.fluids.experienceVaporizeOnPlacement is true, so Liquid Experience vaporizes into Experience Orbs when it is placed in the world.[5]
Blaze Enchanter and Blaze Forger
The Blaze Enchanter works like an Enchanting Table. In its direct mode it randomly enchants a compatible item at the enchanting level you select. In template mode it writes one suitable enchantment into a blank Enchanting Template.[4]
The Blaze Forger is the smart anvil. It has three modes. Apply puts an enchanted book or filled Enchanting Template onto a target item. Extract moves one enchantment from an item, book or template into a blank template. Merge combines matching enchantment carriers, books, templates or matching equipment.[1][4]
This pack raises the enchanting limits. The Blaze Enchanter's regular enchanting level cap, kinetics.enchantments.blazeEnchanterMaxEnchantLevel, is 50 here, up from the mod default of 30. The Super Enchanting cap, kinetics.enchantments.blazeEnchanterMaxSuperEnchantLevel, is 100, up from 60.[5]
Super Enchanting and Super Forging also ignore enchantment compatibility in the pack, via kinetics.enchantments.ignoreEnchantmentCompatibility. Maximum enchantment level in Super Enchanting is extended by 1 (kinetics.enchantments.enchantmentMaxLevelExtension). Enchantment splitting does not respect that extra level, because kinetics.enchantments.splitEnchantmentRespectLevelExtension is false.[5]
Both blazes hold 4,000 mB of fluid, which is the mod default (kinetics.fluids.blazeEnchanterFluidCapacity and kinetics.fluids.blazeForgerFluidCapacity).[5]
The Blaze Enchanter can be automated with a Mechanical Arm. The Arm can insert the item to enchant, feed experience fuel, and take out both the enchanted item and any invalid item.[4]
Blaze Composer and Apotheosis affixes
The Blaze Composer transfers, combines and reapplies Apotheosis affixes. You supply Apotheotic Essence through the bottom to activate Normal Mode, which accepts Brass and Crystal Affix Templates, and each tier has its own level capacity. Engineer's Goggles preview the required inputs, essence cost, result and any reason an operation cannot start.[4]
- Extract Mode moves one affix from equipment onto a matching blank template and returns the equipment without that affix.[4]
- Merge Mode combines templates of the same tier and rarity. Two matching level 0.25 affixes produce level 0.5, and different affixes can be collected on the resulting template.[4]
- Apply Mode consumes the template and adds or upgrades every compatible affix on the target equipment.[4]
Every output must be removed before the Composer accepts the next batch. For automation, use input Depots and Mechanical Arms. The input Arm recognizes each item's role for the selected mode and puts it in the right slot, and the output Arm takes the stripped equipment and the filled template one after the other. Arms can also insert Apotheotic Essence containers and the Super activator, but a bottom pipe gives you a continuous fluid supply.[4]
Super Composing
Fill the Normal tank through the bottom pipe, then give the Composer a Godforged Pearl to permanently unlock its second tank. After that, keep the pipe supplied. Once the Normal tank is full, more essence flows into the second tank and activates Super Mode. Super Mode accepts only Apotheotic Affix Templates, which can carry levels beyond an affix's native limit. Actual level limits and essence costs follow the server configuration, so check them with Engineer's Goggles.[4]
Affix Augmentor, Infuser and Gem Cutter
These three are the Apotheosis integration machines. The Affix Augmentor upgrades the affixes of equipment automatically. It must sit on a horizontal Belt or Depot, and it needs a tank of Apotheotic Essence, with the Fluid Tank installed 2 blocks beneath it. The pack changed its recipe.[1][3][4]

Printer
The Printer copies written books, enchanted books, name tags and train schedules. It can also rename items and change a package's address or pattern. It holds 4,000 mB of fluid (kinetics.fluids.printerFluidCapacity).[1][4][5]
Every printing function is enabled in the pack, including written book, enchanted book, custom name, package address, package pattern and Create's copiable items. Enchanted book printing uses a cost multiplier of 1 (kinetics.fluids.printingEnchantedBookCostMultiplier). The Printer denylist stops denied enchanted books from being copied (kinetics.fluids.printingEnchantedBookDenylistStopCopying). The written book generation change is -3 (kinetics.fluids.printingGenerationChange). The config notes that a value of 1 would prevent copying a copy of a copy.[5]
Experience Lantern
The Experience Lantern absorbs experience and also works on contraptions. It holds 1,000 mB (kinetics.fluids.experienceLanternFluidCapacity) and drains 50 mB from a player per 0.5 tick (kinetics.fluids.experienceLanternDrainRate). Both are the mod defaults.[1][5]

How do you progress through Create: Enchantment Industry?
6 parts
Unverified The sources here show no quests in this pack that involve this mod, and it is not on the ATM Star quest path. Check the pack's quest book yourself. Because there is no quest-guided order, the stages below follow the in-pack recipes instead.
Think of this mod as a ladder. First you set up Liquid Experience and the basic machines. Then you upgrade Blaze Burners into enchanting machines. Finally you reach the late-game gear that the pack has reworked. Wherever the recipe dump says the pack changed a recipe, I point it out, because it can differ from the mod's defaults.[3]
Early game: Liquid Experience and the basic machines
Everything starts with Liquid Experience. The Mechanical Grindstone grinds experience nuggets and blocks into it, and the Super Experience versions work the same way. Experience bottles can be emptied into it too. The pack also adds emptying and grinding routes for Mystical Agriculture's Experience Droplet and for the Ars Nouveau and Ars Technica experience gems.[3]

This is the mod's own recipe, not changed by the pack.
The Printer and the Experience Lantern are also unmodified mod recipes. Pressing a Block of Experience gives you an Enchanting Template.[3]

Cake o' Enchanting
The pack changed the recipe for the Cake Base o' Enchanting. Filling the base with Liquid Experience gives you a Cake o' Enchanting. You can turn the cake into Cake Slice o' Enchanting with a cutting recipe from Create or with a Farmer's Delight cutting recipe that uses a knife. The pack changed the Farmer's Delight one. Both recipes are shown below.[3]

Late game: Apotheosis-linked gear
Here the pack ties the mod into Apotheosis and Apothic Enchanting. The recipes for these machines are pack-changed, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults.[3]
- Gem Cutter: pack-changed crafting recipe.[3]
- Infuser: pack-changed, and it uses a KubeJS shaped recipe.[3]
- Ender Woven Bag: pack-changed crafting recipe.[3]
- Affix Augmentor: pack-changed crafting recipe.[3]
- Blaze Composer: a pack-changed smithing upgrade that needs an Affix Augmentor.[3]

How does Create: Enchantment Industry work with other mods?
4 parts
Create: Enchantment Industry is built on top of Create and Create: Dragons Plus, so those are the mods you'll touch most. In this pack it also reaches into Apotheosis, Apothic Enchanting, Ars Nouveau, Ars Technica, Mystical Agriculture and Productive Bees. Here's how it all connects.[1][3]
Turning other mods' experience into Liquid Experience
Liquid Experience is the mod's core fluid, and the pack gives you several ways to get it from other mods' items.[3]
- Experience Gem and Greater Experience Gem grind down into Liquid Experience. The pack changed both of these recipes.[3]
- Giant Experience Gem and Gargantuan Experience Gem do the same thing, using the mod's own recipes.[3]
- An emptying recipe turns Experience Droplet into Liquid Experience. The pack changed this recipe too.[3]
- Create's own Nugget of Experience and Block of Experience also grind into Liquid Experience. Going the other way, compacting Liquid Experience gives you the Block of Experience.[3]
Apotheosis and Apothic Enchanting
This is the biggest connection, and the pack has changed most of these recipes. Several Apotheosis materials dissolve in a Create mixer: Mysterious Scrap Metal, Timeworn Fabric, Luminous Crystal Shard, Arcane Sands and Godforged Pearl all become Apotheotic Essence. Gem Dust becomes Crystal Essence.[3]
The machines for Apotheosis gear also need Apotheosis items to craft. The pack changed all of these recipes.[1][3]

Dragon's breath is shared between mods too. Filling and emptying recipes convert between this mod's Infused Dragon's Breath and the bottled Infused Dragon's Breath from Apothic Enchanting. Both were changed by the pack. An infusing recipe, also changed by the pack, makes the fluid from Dragon's Breath.[3]
The Ender Woven Bag has a pack-changed recipe that uses Apothic Enchanting's Ender Lead together with Create parts.[3]

Several of the mod's machines are built from Create parts. The Mechanical Grindstone uses Andesite Alloy and a Shaft. The Printer and the Infuser both use a Spout. The Experience Lantern uses a Copper Casing and a Block of Experience.[3]
Cakes and bees
The pack adds its own mechanical crafting recipe for the Creative Blaze Cake. It needs the mod's Cake o' Enchanting along with a whole spread of cakes from other mods, such as Honey Cake and Cheese Cake, plus the ATM Star.[3]
Mechanical Crafting (create)

This recipe is added by the pack.
There's also a Productive Bees link. A bee conversion recipe, changed by the pack, turns the Super Enchanting Template into the Super Experience bee.[3]
Which Create: Enchantment Industry config options matter?
6 parts
Good news: this pack only changes the Blaze Enchanter's level limits in the Create: Enchantment Industry server config. Every other value that lists a mod default is left at that default. These changes make the Blaze Enchanter much more generous, so they are the ones to remember.[5]
Changed by the pack: Blaze Enchanter levels
- kinetics.enchantments.blazeEnchanterMaxEnchantLevel is 50 in this pack. The mod default is 30. It is the max experience level a Blaze Enchanter can use in Regular Enchanting.[5]
- kinetics.enchantments.blazeEnchanterMaxSuperEnchantLevel is 100 in this pack. The mod default is 60. It is the max experience level a Blaze Enchanter can use in Super Enchanting.[5]
Breaking enchantment limits
kinetics.enchantments.enchantmentMaxLevelExtension is 1, the mod default, so Super Enchanting extends the max enchantment level by 1. kinetics.enchantments.ignoreEnchantmentCompatibility is true, so Super Enchanting and Super Forging ignore enchantment compatibility. kinetics.enchantments.splitEnchantmentRespectLevelExtension is false, so enchantment splitting does not respect the over-capped level.[5]
Experience from Deployers and Crushing Wheels
Experience drops from both machines are switched on. kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXp and kinetics.deployerKillDropXp are true, and so is kinetics.deployerMineDropXp for blocks the Deployer mines. The Crushing Wheel chance and scale (kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpChance and kinetics.crushingWheelKillDropXpScale) are at their mod defaults. So are the Deployer scales, kinetics.deployerKillXpScale and kinetics.deployerMineXpScale, which are both 1.[5]
kinetics.deployerCollectXp is true, so Deployers collect dropped experience as Experience Nuggets. That matters because kinetics.deployerMendItem (Mending on the Deployer's held item) needs it, and it is also true. kinetics.deployerSweepAttack is true as well.[5]
Fluid capacities and Liquid Experience
- The Blaze Enchanter, Blaze Forger and Printer each hold 4,000 mB, the mod default. See kinetics.fluids.blazeEnchanterFluidCapacity, kinetics.fluids.blazeForgerFluidCapacity and kinetics.fluids.printerFluidCapacity.[5]
- The Experience Lantern holds 1,000 mB (kinetics.fluids.experienceLanternFluidCapacity) and drains 50 from the player per step (kinetics.fluids.experienceLanternDrainRate). Both are mod defaults.[5]
- kinetics.fluids.experienceVaporizeOnPlacement is true, so Liquid Experience vaporizes into Experience Orbs when you place it.[5]
Printer settings
Every Printer function is enabled: Enchanted Book (kinetics.fluids.enableEnchantedBookPrinting), Written Book (kinetics.fluids.enableWrittenBookPrinting), custom names (kinetics.fluids.enableCustomNamePrinting), package address (kinetics.fluids.enablePackageAddressPrinting), package pattern (kinetics.fluids.enablePackagePatternPrinting) and Create copiable items (kinetics.fluids.enableCreateCopiableItemPrinting). kinetics.fluids.printingEnchantedBookCostMultiplier is 1, and kinetics.fluids.printingGenerationChange is -3, the mod default. A value of 1 there would prevent copying a copy of a copy. The Printer denylist still stops enchanted books from being copied (kinetics.fluids.printingEnchantedBookDenylistStopCopying is true). kinetics.fluids.printingCustomNameAsItemName is false, so printed custom names show in italic rather than as a proper item name.[5]
Other values
Both kinetics.stressValues.v1.impact.mechanical_grindstone and kinetics.stressValues.v1.impact.grindstone_drain are set to 4 in this pack. The source doesn't list a mod default for these, so I can't say whether the pack changed them. kinetics.processing.regularLightningStrikeTransformXpBlockChance is 1, the mod default, which is the probability of a regular lightning strike transforming a Block of Experience.[5]
