What is TerraFirmaCraft?

3 parts

TerraFirmaCraft turns Minecraft into a proper survival challenge. This pack ships version 2.2.30 for Forge 1.18.2. You start with almost nothing: sticks, twigs and loose rocks scattered on the ground.[1][2]

From there you knap rocks into tools, light a fire with a Firestarter, and work toward your first metal pickaxe. The in-game guide covers this stone-age start under Getting Started.[2][3][4]

Who it is for

If you like slow, hands-on progression where you earn every tool, this is your mod. You manage hunger and thirst, and the game tracks five nutrients: Fruit, Vegetables, Protein, Grain and Dairy. Eating a varied diet raises your maximum health, and a poor one lowers it.[5]

Early game

Small ore pieces on the ground are one of the only sources of metal before you have a pickaxe. They also hint at a bigger vein nearby. A small ore only gives 10 mB of metal, and you need at least 100 mB of a castable metal to cast something. Copper is the guide's example. You melt the ore in a small vessel inside a pit kiln, then pour it into a fired mold.[6]

The pack's first quest chapter picks this up with molds. One quest asks for the unfired Unfired Pickaxe Head Mold, Unfired Propick Head Mold and Unfired Saw Blade Mold ("Important Molds" quest).[7]

Where it fits in the pack

The quest chapters follow the TerraFirmaCraft metal ladder. Next you grind with the Handstone and Quern, gather Graphite and Kaolinite, and make Fire Clay. That unlocks the Fire Brick and the Crucible. Then come bronze, black bronze and bismuth bronze, each with a double ingot step. The chapter also links to Create: one quest asks for a Zinc Ingot and an Igneous Zinc Alloy.[8]

The steel chapter goes further. You collect Black Steel Ingot and make a Black Steel Anvil. Then you work through weak and high carbon steels to Red Steel Ingot and Blue Steel Ingot, finishing with the Red Steel Bucket and Blue Steel Bucket.[9]

Unverified The sources I was given do not confirm whether TerraFirmaCraft is part of the ATM Star path.

How do you get started with TerraFirmaCraft?

5 parts

Welcome to the stone age! In this pack the opening of TerraFirmaCraft is the quest chapter "Getting Started(Featuring Stone Anvils!)". The order below follows the mod's own introduction and that chapter, and the goal is your first metal pickaxe.[3][7]

Stone tools and straw

You start with sticks, twigs and loose rocks lying on the ground. You can also get sticks by breaking leaves with your fist. Hold at least two rocks and right click in the air to open the knapping interface, then chip away squares until you match a tool head pattern. Combine a head with a stick or twig to assemble the tool.[2]

Make a stone knife first. It lets you harvest straw by breaking plants. The quest "Gotta Start Somewhere!" quest asks for 10 straw, and a pit kiln will use more later.[2][7][10]

Fire

Next comes Firestarter, which you craft from two sticks. Hold it down on the ground and it may take a couple of tries to light. The quest for this step is "We have FIRE!" quest.[4][7]

To make a firepit, throw one log and three sticks on the same block, then use the firestarter on them. You can add up to five pieces of kindling, such as straw, and each one raises the success chance by 10 percent.[4]

Clay and the pit kiln

Clay is the heart of the early game. It needs at least 175mm of annual rainfall to appear in patches, and plants like Athyrium Fern, Canna, Goldenrod, Pampas Grass, Perovskia and Water Canna hint that clay is nearby. You also find smaller deposits near rivers, lakes and ponds. Knapping clay needs five clay in your hand, and if you make a mistake you can close the interface, reshape the clay and try again.[11]

Clay items must be fired before you can use them. In the early game that means a pit kiln. It holds up to four items, and you cover them with eight straw and then eight logs. Light the top and it burns for eight hours.[10][11]

Your first metal tools

Small ore pieces on the ground only give 10 mB of metal each, but they also point to a bigger vein nearby, so remember where you found them. To cast you need at least 100 mB of copper, a small vessel, a fired mold and a pit kiln. Put the ore in the vessel, heat it in the pit kiln, then pour the molten metal into your fired mold.[6]

The pack's quest "Making Our First Metal Tools" quest wants a Copper Pickaxe Head and a Copper Prospector's Pick Head. Put the pickaxe head on a stick and you have your first pickaxe. The prospector's pick is the tool for locating large quantities of ore.[6][7][11]

Tip: You can make a stone anvil before you have metal. Extract a block of raw igneous rock by mining all six sides of it, then right click its top face with any hammer. It is Tier 0, so it can only weld Tier I ingots.[12]

After the pickaxe

The chapter then moves on to textiles. The spindle quest asks for a Spindle, a Spindle Head and an Unfired Spindle Head. After that come Wool and Wool Yarn, and finally Wool Cloth from the loom quest "Loomatic" quest. A Composter quest is also in this chapter.[7]

How does TerraFirmaCraft work?

7 parts

TerraFirmaCraft's progression runs from your first pickaxe all the way up to colored steel. The systems below are the backbone of that climb: heat sources, casting, anvils, barrels, the blast furnace and how items are stored.[14]

Heat sources

The firepit is your first heat source. You build it from one log, three sticks and up to five pieces of kindling, all thrown on the same block and lit with a firestarter. Each piece of kindling adds 10 percent to the chance of success. The firepit screen has four fuel slots on the left, a temperature gauge, and a slot on the right for the item you are heating. You load logs, peat or stick bundles into the topmost slot, and fuel is burned from the bottommost slot.[4]

A firepit can be upgraded. A wrought iron grill turns it into a grill, and a ceramic pot turns it into a pot. Fuel purity matters too: impure fuels make the fire smokier, logs are the purest, and pine is the least pure log.[4]

The pit kiln is the early-game way to fire clay. You place up to four items in a 1x1 hole, cover them with eight straw, fill it with eight logs, then light the top. It burns for about eight hours and heats its contents up to 1,400 °C, which is the temperature clay needs to turn into ceramic.[10][11]

A bellows pushes extra air into a device directly in front of it, or in front and one block down. That means it can feed a firepit or a charcoal forge. The device burns hotter for a short time, but it also eats fuel faster.[15]

Tip: Hot items show a bar like a durability bar when item heat bars are on, and heat tooltips use approximate color names by default in this pack. If you prefer exact numbers, change the heat tooltip style setting.[16]

The relevant settings are display.displayItemHeatBars and display.heatTooltipStyle. In this pack the first is true and the second is COLOR. The second can also be set to CELSIUS, FAHRENHEIT, RANKINE or KELVIN.[16]

Casting and alloys

Ores hold a set number of millibuckets (mB) of metal. A small ore found on the ground gives only 10 mB. To cast, you put ores in a small vessel and heat it inside a pit kiln. Then you open the casting interface and place a fired mold in the center slot, and it fills as long as the vessel stays liquid. If the vessel solidifies, you can reheat it in another pit kiln. You need at least 100 mB of a castable metal, such as copper, for a first tool head.[6]

Alloys use the same vessel process, but the metals have to land inside set percentage ranges. For example, 1,000 mB of bronze needs between 880 and 920 mB of copper and between 80 and 120 mB of tin. The three bronzes are:[17]

  • Bronze: 88 to 92 percent copper and 8 to 12 percent tin.[17]
  • Bismuth Bronze: 20 to 30 percent zinc, 50 to 65 percent copper and 10 to 20 percent bismuth.[17]
  • Black Bronze: 50 to 70 percent copper, 10 to 25 percent silver and 10 to 25 percent gold.[17]

Anvils: working and welding

An anvil does two jobs. Working shapes one piece of metal into another, and welding fuses two metal items into one. Your first anvil is a stone anvil. You make it by right-clicking the top of a raw rock block with a hammer. The raw rock must be igneous, either extrusive or intrusive. It is Tier 0 and can only weld Tier I ingots. Metal anvils are crafted from double ingots, and you weld your first ones on the stone anvil.[12][18]

Each anvil has a tier. It can work metals of its own tier and weld metals one tier higher. The tiers run from Tier 0 for the stone anvil, through copper at Tier I and the bronzes at Tier II, to wrought iron at Tier III, steel at Tier IV and black steel at Tier V. Red steel and blue steel sit at Tier VI.[18]

To work an item, you put it in the right-hand input slot and have a hammer in the hammer slot or your main hand. The hammer takes damage as you go. You pick a plan, then line up the green progress pointer with the red target using the action buttons. Moving past the end of the bar overworks the item and you lose the ingot. You must also satisfy the two or three rules shown at the top, such as Bend Second Last. The metal has to stay hot enough that the tooltip says Can Work, and you can pull it out to reheat it.[18]

Efficient forging earns a bonus on things like tool heads. The four levels are Poorly, Well, Expertly and Perfectly Forged. The bonus carries into the finished tool, so it breaks less, mines faster or hits harder depending on the tool. In this pack, blocks.anvil.anvilAcceptableWorkRange is set to 0, which means your result has to hit the target with pixel-perfect accuracy.[18][19]

Welding needs the two items on the anvil and at least one flux. Both items must be hot enough for the tooltip to say Can Weld. Then you hit the anvil with any hammer.[18]

Barrels and fluids

A barrel holds items in its central slot and fluid in a tank on the left. You add fluid with a filled bucket or jug in the top-left slot. Sealing a barrel lets you break it while keeping its contents, and it is also required for some recipes. Sealing ejects any items that are not in the center slot. Barrels also slowly fill with water in the rain.[20]

Barrel recipes need the right ratio of fluid to items. Any excess fluid or items are lost. Some examples:[20]

  • Limewater is made by adding one flux for every 500 mB of water. It is used in leather making and for mortar.[20]
  • Milk vinegar and brine are made by adding vinegar to milk or salt water at a 9:1 ratio.[20]
  • Dyeing and bleaching work by sealing items in a barrel of dye or lye.[20]
  • Hot items cool quickly in a barrel of water, olive oil or salt water.[20]

Sideways barrels show their sealed state with the tap. A sideways tap means sealed. Unsealed sideways barrels automatically drain into open barrels or other fluid containers below the tap, as long as the block the tap extends into is free air.[20]

Aqueducts move water, including source blocks, horizontally over any distance. You place one end next to a source or falling water and wait a short while. They will not create permanent source blocks. Remove the aqueducts and the water disappears.[21]

Blast furnace and bloomery

The blast furnace makes steel. You craft it from a crucible and some wrought iron sheets. Its chimney is built from fire bricks and lined with wrought iron sheets, and steel sheets also work. The chimney can be up to five layers tall. Each layer needs four fire bricks and twelve sheets, and adds room for four more ore items. For steel you drop an equal number of iron ores and flux into the top, plus charcoal, which is consumed as it works. Any item that melts into cast iron counts as an iron ore here.[22]

The bloomery smelts iron ore into iron blooms, which can then be worked into wrought iron. Hematite, limonite and magnetite melt into cast iron rather than wrought iron, which is why the bloomery is needed.[23]

Size, weight and storage

Every item has a size and a weight. Size decides where it fits. Small items are the largest that fit in small vessels, normal items the largest for large vessels, and large items the largest for chests. A pit kiln holds four large items, while a very large item goes in alone. Huge items fit in no normal storage.[24]

Weight sets the stack size: very light stacks to 64, light to 32, medium to 16, heavy to 4 and very heavy to 1. Carrying one item that is both huge and very heavy exhausts you. Carrying two or more gives you the Overburdened effect, which makes movement very slow. Anvils, sealed barrels and crucibles with contents count toward this.[24]

Pack recipe changes for TFC items

The pack adds and changes crafting-table recipes that output several TFC ingots, including Copper Ingot, Gold Ingot, Silver Ingot, Nickel Ingot, Zinc Ingot, Brass Ingot and Steel Ingot. Here is one of the changed recipes:[13]

How do you progress through TerraFirmaCraft?

6 parts

TerraFirmaCraft's tech tree runs from your first pickaxe all the way to colored steel, and this pack's quest chapters follow that same arc. The anvil is the usual checkpoint, so you'll see a new anvil at almost every step.[8][9][14][25][26][27]

Stone age: clay, fire and your first metal tools

The early quests have you collect straw and make a Firestarter (quests "Gotta Start Somewhere!" quest and "We have FIRE!" quest). Then you work with clay. "Important Molds" quest asks for the unfired pickaxe head, prospector's pick head and saw blade molds. "Less Important, But Still Useful Molds!" quest covers a whole batch of other molds, plus the Unfired Pot and Unfired Large Vessel. "Early Game Storage" quest asks for four Unfired Vessel for early storage.[7]

The first metal goal is a Copper Pickaxe Head and a Copper Prospector's Pick Head ("Making Our First Metal Tools" quest). The in-game guide walks through the casting: ore goes into a small vessel inside a pit kiln, and you pour the melt into a fired mold. You need at least 100 mB of metal for casting, and small surface ores give only 10 mB each, so collect plenty.[6][7]

After the first metal tools quest, the spindle, wool yarn and wool cloth quests open up. The pack adds a Create mechanical crafting recipe for the Unfired Spindle Head:[7][13]

Copper tier

The copper chapter asks for a Copper Ingot, 16 Flux and the Bellows. You then make a Copper Double Ingot and finish with the Copper Anvil.[26]

The pack adds Create milling recipes that turn both Borax and fluxstone into flux, which helps with that 16 flux goal.[13][26]

2× Flux, FluxAdded by the pack

Milling (create)

  • any fluxstone

Recipe id: create:milling/flux

This milling recipe, added by the pack, turns fluxstone into flux.

Bronze tier

The bronze chapter has you make a Handstone and Quern, then find Graphite and Kaolinite, then Fire Clay. Fire clay is what leads to the Fire Brick and the Crucible.[8]

After the copper anvil you can branch into three alloys: Bronze Ingot, Black Bronze Ingot and Bismuth Bronze Ingot. Each has its own double-ingot quest.[8][26]

The chapter also covers Brass Ingot and "Let's get CREATEive" quest, which asks for a Zinc Ingot plus the Create alloy the quest names. The pack changed the Create mixing recipe so brass comes out as the TFC brass ingot.[8][13]

The pack changed this Create mixing recipe so it outputs the TFC brass ingot.

The pack also adds a Create recipe for the Unfired Fire Brick:[13]

Mechanical Crafting (create)

10 × Fire Clay

Recipe id: create:mechanical_crafting/unfired_fire_brick

This recipe turns fire clay into an unfired fire brick and is added by the pack.

Iron tier

Iron starts with building materials: 16 Mortar ("Primitive Glue" quest) and 16 Andesite Brick ("Cutting Edge" quest). The Bloomery quest comes after both. From there you go from Raw Iron Bloom to Refined Iron Bloom to a Wrought Iron Ingot, and finally the Wrought Iron Anvil.[27]

The in-game guide says you make mortar by adding sand to a barrel of limewater. The pack adds a Create mixing recipe for it too:[13][28]

16× MortarAdded by the pack

Mixing (create)

Recipe id: create:mixing/mortar

This Create mixing recipe for mortar is added by the pack.

Tip: The pack rewired several other mods so they output TFC metals. For example, smelting Create's crushed raw iron gives a Wrought Iron Ingot, and Create's crushed raw copper gives a Copper Ingot. The pack changes these recipes, so they are not mod defaults.[13]

Steel tier

The steel chapter's main goal is the Blast Furnace. Its quest asks for the furnace itself, 12 Wrought Iron Sheet, 4 Fire Bricks and a Wrought Iron Tuyere. It unlocks after the wrought iron anvil and the bellows.[25][26][27]

"Creating Steel" quest then tracks the chain from Pig Iron Ingot to High Carbon Steel Ingot to Steel Ingot. The next quest is the Steel Anvil. The chapter also has quests for making paper from Papyrus and for automating with Create ("Automating Create Machinery" quest).[25]

Colored steel

The last chapter starts with 14 Black Steel Ingot after the steel anvil, then asks for the Black Steel Anvil. After that, the path splits into two branches. One goes Weak Blue Steel Ingot, then High Carbon Blue Steel Ingot, then Blue Steel Ingot. The other goes Weak Red Steel Ingot, then High Carbon Red Steel Ingot, then Red Steel Ingot. The chapter also has quests for the Blue Steel Bucket and Red Steel Bucket.[9][25]

How does TerraFirmaCraft work with other mods?

4 parts

Other mods in this pack plug into TerraFirmaCraft. You can see it in crafting recipes that mix TFC items with items from other mods, and in quests that ask for both. Here is what the pack's recipes and quests show.[8][13][25][29]

Advanced TFC Tech: pirns and the power loom

Advanced TFC Tech adds the Pirn, which you wind before using it in a power loom. The pack has a Fiber-Winded Pirn and a Wool-Winded Pirn, which pair with Jute Fiber and Wool Yarn from TFC. The recipe blocks below show the exact crafting.[13]

Create

Two quests tie TFC metals to Create. The zinc alloy quest asks for a Zinc Ingot alongside Igneous Zinc Alloy: "Let's get CREATEive" quest.[8]

The Create automation quest asks for a Wrought Iron Rod together with a Mechanical Belt and an Igneous Zinc Funnel: "Automating Create Machinery" quest.[25]

Firmalife and the shop quests

Firmalife shows up in the shop chapter's biome map quests. Each of those quests asks for 32 of Beeswax, an Iron Block and a Copper Anvil. Start collecting beeswax early if you want to work through them.[29]

Which All the Mods - Gravitas quests use TerraFirmaCraft?

7 parts

The pack's TerraFirmaCraft quests are spread over the Getting Started chapter, chapters 2 to 6 and a shop chapter. Below they are in the order the quest dependencies lead you through them. Chapter names are untranslated keys in the quest files, so I refer to them by number.[7][8][9][25][26][27][29]

Getting Started (Featuring Stone Anvils!)

  1. "Gotta Start Somewhere!" quest asks for 8 of a tag-matched item and 10 Straw. It comes after a stone tools quest.[7]
  2. "We have FIRE!" quest wants a Firestarter plus an advancement.[7]
  3. "Important Molds" quest and "Less Important, But Still Useful Molds!" quest are the mold quests, and both unlock after the clay quest. The first wants the unfired pickaxe head, propick head and saw blade molds. The second wants a long list of unfired items, including the axe head, shovel head, hoe head, knife blade, bell, chisel head and hammer head molds, plus the Unfired Pot, Unfired Large Vessel, Unfired Jug and Unfired Brick.[7]
  4. "Early Game Storage" quest asks for 4 Unfired Vessel, also after the clay quest.[7]
  5. "Making Our First Metal Tools" quest follows the Finding Copper quest and wants a Copper Pickaxe Head and a Copper Prospector's Pick Head.[7]
  6. The textile line starts with a quest in "Getting Started(Featuring Stone Anvils!)" (a Spindle, Spindle Head and Unfired Spindle Head). Next is a quest in "Getting Started(Featuring Stone Anvils!)" (Wool and Wool Yarn), then the loom quest "Loomatic" quest (Wool Cloth plus a tag item).[7]
  7. a quest in "Getting Started(Featuring Stone Anvils!)" wants a Composter and unlocks after the saw blade quest.[7]

Chapter 2: copper

a quest in "Copper Anvils" has no prerequisite and asks for 16 Flux. After the charcoal forge quest, a quest in "Copper Anvils" wants a Copper Ingot. a quest in "Copper Anvils" wants Bellows. a quest in "Copper Anvils" needs both the flux and ingot quests and asks for a Copper Double Ingot. It leads to a quest in "Copper Anvils", the Copper Anvil.[26]

Chapter 3: bronze and ceramics

Once you have the copper anvil, a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze", a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" and a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" ask for Bronze Ingot, Black Bronze Ingot and Bismuth Bronze Ingot. Each has a follow-up quest for its double ingot: a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze", a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" and a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze".[8]

The ceramics line starts with a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" (Handstone and Quern). Then comes a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" (Graphite and Kaolinite) and a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" (Fire Clay). That unlocks a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" (fire bricks) and a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" (the Crucible). Two alloy quests have no prerequisite: a quest in "More Anvils, but this time they're Bronze" asks for a Brass Ingot, and "Let's get CREATEive" quest asks for a Zinc Ingot, a tag item and Create's andesite alloy.[8]

Chapter 4: iron

"Primitive Glue" quest asks for 16 Mortar and "Cutting Edge" quest for 16 Andesite Brick. Both unlock a quest in "You like Anvils? Say no more: Iron Anvil", the Bloomery with 11 of a tag item. Then a quest in "You like Anvils? Say no more: Iron Anvil" wants a Wrought Iron Ingot, a Raw Iron Bloom and a Refined Iron Bloom, and a quest in "You like Anvils? Say no more: Iron Anvil" finishes the chapter with the Wrought Iron Anvil.[27]

Chapter 5: steel

a quest in "Blast Furnace (To make a different Anvil)" asks for a Blast Furnace, 12 Wrought Iron Sheet, 4 Fire Bricks and a Wrought Iron Tuyere. It needs the wrought iron anvil quest and the chapter 2 bellows quest. "Creating Steel" quest follows with pig iron, high carbon steel and steel ingots, and a quest in "Blast Furnace (To make a different Anvil)" asks for the Steel Anvil. Two side quests also sit here: a quest in "Blast Furnace (To make a different Anvil)" covers the papyrus-to-Unrefined Paper chain, and "Automating Create Machinery" quest mixes a Wrought Iron Rod with Create's belt connector and andesite funnel.[25][26][27]

Chapter 6: black, red and blue steel

a quest in "Anvils to beat you Black, Red and Blue" asks for 14 Black Steel Ingot after the steel anvil quest, and a quest in "Anvils to beat you Black, Red and Blue" asks for the Black Steel Anvil. The chapter then splits into two lines.[9]

Shop chapter: biome maps

The shop chapter holds the biome map quests, such as "Ocean Biome Map" quest for the ocean and "Shore Biome Map" quest for the shore. Every one of them asks for the same three things: 32 beeswax, an iron block and a Copper Anvil. They also need the same two earlier quests.[29]

Unverified Whether any of these TerraFirmaCraft quests sit on the ATM Star quest path is not confirmed.

Which TerraFirmaCraft config options matter?

6 parts

TerraFirmaCraft splits its settings across three files in this pack: a client file for HUD and tooltips, a common file for the calendar and world type, and a server file for gameplay. Here are the options you're most likely to run into, and exactly how this pack has them set.[16][19][30]

Calendar and world type

Survival rules

Metalworking and storage

Burn and process times

TFC counts these in ticks, where 1,000 ticks is one in-game hour. blocks.torch.torchTicks is 72,000 (72 hours) and blocks.charcoal.charcoalTicks is 18,000 (18 hours). blocks.candle.candleTicks is 264,000 and blocks.composter.composterTicks is 288,000, which is 12 days. blocks.sluice.sluiceTicks is 100, or 5 seconds per item. For each of these the config comment states a default, and the pack's value matches it.[19]

Animals

Animals share a familiarity cap of 0.35 in this pack, for example mechanics.animals.cow.cowFamiliarityCap for cows. Cows take 192 days to reach adulthood (mechanics.animals.cow.cowAdulthoodDays) and have 58 days of gestation (mechanics.animals.cow.cowGestationDays). Pigs can have up to 10 children per birth (mechanics.animals.pig.pigChildCount).[19]

Client display

The pack leaves TFC's custom HUD on: display.enableHealthBar, display.enableHungerBar and display.enableThirstBar are all true. display.heatTooltipStyle is COLOR, so heat shows as approximate color names rather than exact degrees. display.foodExpiryTooltipStyle is BOTH, showing the expiry date and the time left. general.ignoreExperimentalWorldGenWarning is true, which skips the experimental world generation warning and also speeds up world loading by about 2x.[16]

SettingAll the Mods - Gravitas value
compatibility.additionalMetalSheetTextures
Defines additional metal sheet textures that should be added to the block atlas, as they would be otherwise unused, for use in ingot piles and metal sheet blocks. For Pack Makers: When adding a Metal via a datapack, with a custom texture "domain:block/my_texture", and you get missing textures in ingot piles and sheet blocks, that texture needs to be added here
config/tfc-client.toml
[]
compatibility.additionalSpecialModels
Registers additional models into forge's special model registry. For Pack Makers: this is needed if you want your custom item models to render when used for panning (if they are not already used somewhere else and added automatically in that case)
config/tfc-client.toml
[]
display.disabledExperienceBarStyle
The style to display HUD elements when the XP bar is disabled. HOVER = Display all elements in their default positions BUMP = Move elements closer to the hotbar; when fishing or riding a jumping entity, other elements move to their default positions LEFT_HOTBAR = Move elements closer to the hotbar; when fishing or riding a jumping entity, those elements will appear as a vertical bar between the hotbar and offhand slot
config/tfc-client.toml
HOVER
display.displayFamiliarityAsPercent
If familiarity is displayed as a percent rather than a heart
config/tfc-client.toml
false
display.displayItemContentsAsImages
For items like bundles, their contents inside will be rendered using Bundle Technology to show their items.
config/tfc-client.toml
true
display.displayItemHeatBars
If true, for items that are hot, they will show a bar on the item like a durability bar
config/tfc-client.toml
true
