Mystical Agriculture is a mod in All the Mods 11 0.12.0-beta, where it is version 9.0.10. Adds resource crops for more than 150+ vanilla & modded materials! (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is Mystical Agriculture?

2 parts

Mystical Agriculture is all about growing your resources instead of digging for them. You plant crops that produce essences, then turn those essences into materials, mob drops, tools, armor and more. This pack runs version 9.0.9 of the mod.[1][2]

If you like building farms and slowly turning a few seeds into an endless supply of ingots, gems and mob drops, this mod is for you. Almost every system feeds back into your fields, so each upgrade makes your farm more productive.[1]

What the mod adds

  • More than 130 resource crops covering vanilla and modded ingredients, materials and mob drops.[1]
  • 6 sets of tools and armor that you can upgrade with extra abilities using Augments.[1]
  • Growth Accelerators and Watering Cans to speed up crop growth.[1]
  • Scythes and Sickles for faster manual harvesting, plus the Harvester to harvest fields automatically.[1]
  • Upgradable Furnaces for processing, and the Seed Reprocessor to get more out of your spare seeds.[1]
  • The Enchanter, which uses extra resource essences to enchant tools, armor or books, and the Soulium Spawner, which uses extra mob essences to spawn mobs.[1]

How the journey starts

  1. Go mining for Prosperity and Inferium ore.[1]
  2. Craft Seed Bases, then turn them into seeds using an Infusion Altar and Infusion Pedestals. When you place the altar, it shows you where the pedestals go.[1]
  3. Make Inferium Seeds for a steady supply of Inferium Essence, and plant them on Essence Farmland to get more essence per harvest. Killing mobs also drops Inferium Essence.[1]
  4. Use an Infusion Crystal to upgrade your essence to higher tiers, which unlock stronger seeds and the Inferium to Supremium tools and armor.[1]
  5. For mob seeds, carry Soul Jars in your inventory and kill the matching mobs with a Soulium Dagger to collect their souls.[1]

Unverified The available sources don't confirm which modded resource crops are active in this pack, or how the mod ties into the pack's wider progression. Check your recipe viewer to see which crops you can actually make here. This site does hold All the Mods 11's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.

How do you get started with Mystical Agriculture?

6 parts

Mystical Agriculture is all about growing your resources with crops. You farm essences, then turn those essences into materials, mob drops, tools, armor and more. Here's the order to tackle things in so you're not stuck wondering what to craft next.[1]

Tip: The mod has an in-game guide book, and its basics section covers what you need to get started with Mystical Agriculture. Keep it handy while you follow these steps.[3]

Step 1: Go mining

Your very first job is a mining trip for Prosperity ore and Inferium ore. Inferium ore gets you your first Inferium Essence, the base essence that everything else in the mod builds on.[1]

With some materials in hand, craft a few Seed Bases next. You'll use them to make any seeds you want.[1]

Step 2: Build the Infusion Altar

Seeds are crafted on an Infusion Altar surrounded by Infusion Pedestal blocks, so this setup is your key crafting station. Place the altar first. It shows you where each pedestal needs to go, so you don't have to guess at the layout.[1][4]

Step 3: Get Inferium Seeds going

Make some Inferium Seeds early. They give you a steady, renewable source of Inferium Essence, so you don't have to keep mining for it.[1][4]

Plant your Inferium Seeds on Essence Farmland to get more Inferium Essence per harvest. You can craft Inferium Farmland, or make Essence Farmland in the world by right-clicking vanilla Farmland.[1][4]

Crafting Shapeless

Recipe id: mysticalagriculture:inferium_farmland

Killing mobs also drops Inferium Essence, so everyday combat helps top up your supply.[1]

Step 4: Your first resource seeds

Normal resource seeds need some of their matching resource plus the tier essence of that seed. Early on you'll mostly be working with Inferium, so plan your first resource crops around what you already have.[1]

Step 5: Upgrading essence tiers

To reach higher-tier seeds, you need to upgrade your essence. In the base mod, you use an Infusion Crystal for this.[1]

Watch out: This pack uses its own recipes for Prudentium Essence, Tertium Essence, Imperium Essence, Supremium Essence and the Master Infusion Crystal. These don't come from Mystical Agriculture itself, so older videos or guides might not match. Check the in-pack recipes below instead.[4]

Speeding things up

Once your first fields are growing, Growth Accelerators make your crops grow faster. Sickles and scythes help you harvest more efficiently.[1][4]

How does Mystical Agriculture work?

5 parts

Mystical Agriculture is all about growing your resources as crops. You harvest essences from those crops and turn them into materials, mob drops, tools and armor. The mod's blocks and machines all support that loop: altars for crafting seeds, farmland and accelerators for faster growth, and machines for harvesting, smelting, enchanting and spawning mobs.[1]

The Infusion Altar and seed crafting

Seeds are made with an Infusion Altar and Infusion Pedestals, not in a normal crafting grid. You don't need to memorize the layout: when you place the altar, it shows you where each pedestal goes. A standard resource seed needs some of its matching resource plus the tier essence of that seed.[1]

Watch out: In this pack, General.seedCraftingRecipes is set to false, so no vanilla crafting-table recipes are generated for seeds. Plan on building the altar setup for all your seeds.[5]

To move essence up a tier you need an Infusion Crystal. In this pack the basic Infusion Crystal has 1,000 uses, which matches the mod default of 1000, set by General.infusionCrystalUses.[1][5]

The tier essences (Prudentium Essence, Tertium Essence, Imperium Essence and Supremium Essence) and the Master Infusion Crystal all have pack-specific recipes in this pack's recipe list. Check the recipe shown here rather than trusting an older guide.[4]

The Awakening Altar and Awakened Supremium

Awakened Supremium Essence is the high-end material you use to upgrade many of your Supremium items. It is usually made by infusing Cognizant Dust with a Supremium Block on an Awakening Altar.[3]

Cognizant Dust drops from the Wither and the Ender Dragon when you kill them with an Essence Weapon enchanted with Mystical Enlightenment. This pack keeps both drops turned on with General.witherDropsCognizant and General.dragonDropsCognizant. Both bosses also drop essence when killed with an essence weapon, which is also enabled.[3][5]

Unverified The exact Awakening Pedestal layout, and whether the Essence Vessel plays a part in the awakening process, are not covered by the available sources.

Farmland and growth speed

Essence Farmland can be crafted, or you can right-click vanilla Farmland with an essence to convert it. This pack keeps the right-click conversion on through General.essenceFarmlandConversion. Planting Inferium Seeds on Essence Farmland gives you more Inferium Essence per harvest.[1][5]

In this pack, resource crops don't have to sit on their matching farmland to grow, because General.requiresEffectiveFarmland is set to false. Crops also won't drop a second seed when harvested, since General.secondarySeedDrops is false.[5]

Growth Accelerators speed up the plant above them. By default they pulse a growth tick every 10 seconds, and this pack leaves General.growthAcceleratorCooldown at that value. The top tier is the Awakened Supremium Growth Accelerator.[1][3][5]

Watering Cans are the other way to boost growth. For automation, fake players are allowed to use watering cans in this pack, because General.fakePlayerWatering is set to true.[1][5]

Harvesting a resource crop has a 0.1 chance (10%) of dropping a Fertilized Essence. This is the mod default and is unchanged in this pack. Wearing a full set of Awakened Supremium armor grants the Plant Growth AOE set bonus, which is enabled here.[5]

Machines

  • Harvester: harvests your fields automatically, so you don't have to walk the rows with a Scythe or Sickle.[1]
  • Furnaces: upgradable furnaces that process your resources more effectively.[1]
  • Seed Reprocessor: gets more value out of your extra seeds.[1]
  • Enchanter: uses spare resource essences to enchant tools, armor or books.[1]
  • Soulium Spawner: uses spare mob essences to spawn mobs.[1]

Machines can be improved with machine upgrades, including the Supremium Machine Upgrade and the Awakened Machine Supremium Upgrade. Upgrade and machine tooltips list an operation speed, so hover over them in-game to compare tiers.[3]

Unverified Power or fuel requirements, the actual speed values of each upgrade tier, and how items or fluids are piped in and out of these machines are not confirmed by the available sources. One tooltip mentions activating something with a Wand or a redstone signal, but the sources don't say which block it belongs to.

Mob souls

Mob seeds need Soul Jars filled with their mob type. To fill them, carry Soul Jars in your inventory and kill mobs with a Soulium Dagger. Some dagger variants grant extra souls from hostile or peaceful creatures, and the Soul Siphoner enchantment increases souls collected by 10 percent per level.[1][3]

Killing mobs is also a source of Inferium Essence. In this pack, passive and hostile mobs have a 0.2 chance (the mod default) to drop one, set by General.inferiumDropChance.[1][5]

How do you progress through Mystical Agriculture?

5 parts

Mystical Agriculture is built around a ladder of essence tiers, and you can see every rung in this pack's recipes: Inferium Essence, Prudentium Essence, Tertium Essence, Imperium Essence, Supremium Essence and finally Awakened Supremium Essence. This section walks through the in-pack recipes tied to each tier so you know what to aim for next.[4]

Getting started

Your first seeds are Inferium Seeds, which have a crafting recipe in this pack. The in-game guide also has an entry on Inferium Seeds if you want a quick refresher inside the game.[4][6]

Moving up the essence tiers

This pack has its own crafting recipes, under the matc prefix rather than the mod's own, for Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium Essence, plus the Master Infusion Crystal. How does Mystical Agriculture work with other mods?

2 parts

In this pack, Mystical Agriculture's recipe links to other mods all go through Productive Bees. You can turn bees into Mystical Agriculture-themed bees, then spin their honeycombs in a centrifuge to get Mystical Agriculture materials. That gives you a second way to farm essences, shards and dust alongside your crops.[4]

Converting bees

The pack has two bee conversion recipes for this mod. One gives you a Prosperity bee, which is tied to Prosperity Block. The other gives you a Soulium bee, which is tied to Soulium Dagger. Check the recipes below for exactly how each conversion works.[4]

The sources also don't give output amounts or drop chances for these centrifuge recipes.

Which Mystical Agriculture config options matter?

      5 parts

Every numeric setting you'll probably care about is left exactly at the mod's default value in this pack, so the numbers you see in other guides for this version should line up with your game. The on/off switches are where the interesting choices are, so here's how the pack has everything set.[5]

      Armor

      World generation

World.generateInferiumOre, World.generateProsperityOre and World.generateSoulstone are all on, so Inferium Ore, Prosperity Ore and Soulstone all generate in your world.[5]

Unverified The pack's config file doesn't list mod defaults for the on/off settings, so it's unconfirmed whether any of these switches differ from how the mod ships.

What changed in Mystical Agriculture between versions?

All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta ships Mystical Agriculture version 9.0.9, from the file MysticalAgriculture-26.1.2-9.0.9.jar. If you're comparing notes with a friend or checking a bug report, that's the version to look for.[2]

Mystical Agriculture has been in the pack since All the Mods 11 0.8.0-beta or earlier.[2]

Unverified There are no pack changelog entries or mod changelogs for this version, so any recipe, balance or feature changes between pack releases can't be confirmed here. Check the pack's release notes when a new version comes out.
