What is Pocket Storage?
1 part
Pocket Storage is already included in this pack, so you don't need to install anything to use it. This pack ships version 1.2.4 of the mod.[1]
The mod's main items are its Pocket Storage Units, which come in tiers. This pack's quests use two of them: the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 and the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4.[2]
Where it fits in the pack
The quest book has two linked quests for Pocket Storage. a quest in "?" asks you for a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1, and completing it unlocks a quest in "?", which asks you for a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. You start with the entry-level unit and then work your way up to a higher tier.[2]
Unverified The available sources don't confirm how Pocket Storage Units work, such as what they store, how much they hold or how the tiers differ. They also don't say who the mod is best suited for. We found no evidence that it is part of the ATM Star crafting path.
How do you get started with Pocket Storage?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.5 guide
Pocket Storage gives you portable storage units that hold several different item types. When you pick up an item that matches something already stored, the unit absorbs it automatically. Anything beyond the unit's limit is voided, which makes these units great for keeping your inventory clear of the blocks you mine most.[3]
Your first unit
Start by making Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1. It's a normal shaped crafting recipe, so you can build it at a crafting table early in your run. The pack also has a quest, a quest in "?", that asks for this exact item, so crafting it moves your questline forward too.[4][5]

Upgrading through the tiers
You don't craft the higher tiers from scratch. Each one uses an upgrade recipe that turns your current unit into the next one. Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 becomes Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 2, that becomes Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 3, and that becomes Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. Follow the chain in order.[5]

The top tier. Its recipe needs late-game materials, so plan ahead.
The questline follows the same path. After you finish a quest in "?", the pack's follow-up quest a quest in "?" asks for Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. That makes the final unit a longer-term goal and not something to rush.[4]
Unverified The exact capacity of each tier (how many different items it holds and how many of each) could not be confirmed. The in-game tooltip fills these values in at runtime. It is also unconfirmed whether upgrading a unit keeps the items stored inside it, so empty your unit first to be safe.
How does Pocket Storage work?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Pocket Storage is built around one item: the Pocket Storage Unit, a portable storage item that comes in four tiers, from Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 up to Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. There are no machines, multiblocks or power systems here. It's all about what the unit does while it sits in your inventory.[3][6]
How storage works
Every tier works the same way. A unit holds a set number of different item types, and it can store up to a set amount of each type. The tooltip shows both limits for the unit you're holding, so check it when you pick one up.[3]
Unverified The exact number of item types and the per-item limit for each tier could not be confirmed. The tooltip fills them in from values that aren't in the available sources. Check the in-game tooltip for the real numbers.
Auto-pickup and voiding
This is the unit's key trick. When you pick up items that match what's stored in it, the unit absorbs them automatically. That keeps your main inventory free of the blocks and drops you collect most while mining or building.[3]
Tier progression
You craft Tier 1 with a normal shaped recipe. You don't craft Tiers 2, 3 and 4 from scratch. Each one uses a special upgrade recipe that takes the previous tier's unit as one of its inputs. So you climb the tiers by upgrading the unit you already have.[6]

Upgrades a Tier 3 unit
Unverified It could not be confirmed whether items stored in a unit carry over when you upgrade it to the next tier. Empty it first if you're not sure. It's also unconfirmed how you get items back out, or whether hoppers, pipes or other automation can interact with the units.
How do you progress through Pocket Storage?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.5 guide
Pocket Storage has four tiers of storage unit, and every tier after the first is made by upgrading the one below it. You start with a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1, upgrade it into a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 2, then a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 3, and finally a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4.[5]
Quests
The pack's quest book has two quests for this mod. The first, a quest in "?", asks you to get a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1. Once it's done, a quest in "?" opens up and asks for the top-tier Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. There are no quests for the middle two tiers, so you'll work through them on your own between those two goals.[4]
Starting tier
The Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 is a normal shaped crafting recipe using early-game materials. This is the only tier you craft from scratch.[5]

Upgrading through the tiers
Tiers two to four each use the mod's own upgrade recipe type. You put the previous unit into the recipe along with the other materials, so hold on to your old unit rather than crafting a new one from nothing.[5]
- Upgrade your Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 into a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 2.[5]
- Upgrade the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 2 into a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 3.[5]
- Upgrade the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 3 into a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4, which also completes the second quest.[4][5]

The final tier needs a late-game material, so plan for it.
Unverified How much each tier holds, and whether stored items stay inside the unit when you upgrade it, could not be confirmed for this pack. Test with low-value items before you upgrade a full unit.
How does Pocket Storage work with other mods?
2 parts
Pocket Storage doesn't have many direct links to other mods in this pack, but the one it has matters. The Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4 is an ingredient in a recipe the pack added itself, and the pack's questline has you build up to that same unit.[2][7]
Pulsating Black Hole
The pack adds a shaped crafting recipe for the Pulsating Black Hole. Your Tier 4 Pocket Storage Unit goes into it alongside items from a whole spread of other mods. So a top-tier Pocket Storage Unit isn't just handy storage here. It's also a crafting component for something much bigger.[7]

Unverified The sources don't say whether items stored inside a Pocket Storage Unit are kept or lost when you use it as an ingredient. Empty it first to be safe.
Quests
Pocket Storage also appears in the quest chapter chapter_2_the_star. Two quests there form a short chain: a quest in "?" asks for a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1, and a quest in "?" comes after it and asks for a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. That chain leads you to the same Tier 4 unit you need for the Pulsating Black Hole recipe.[2][7]
- Craft a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 to complete a quest in "?".[2]
- Work your way up to a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4 to complete a quest in "?".[2]
- Use a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4 in the pack's Pulsating Black Hole recipe.[7]
Unverified The quests don't have titles or descriptions in the sources, and the sources don't say what the Pulsating Black Hole is used for afterwards.
Which All the Mods 10 quests use Pocket Storage?
1 part
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.5 guide
Pocket Storage shows up in the pack's quest book in the chapter with the internal name chapter_2_the_star. Its quests form a short chain built around the Pocket Storage Unit tiers. Both quests are untitled in the quest files, so look for them by their icons and tasks.[4]
Quest order
- Start with a quest in "?". Its task asks you to obtain a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1, the entry-level unit.[4]
- Next is a quest in "?", which unlocks after a quest in "?". Its task asks for a Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4.[4]
Unverified The quest rewards, and whether any other chapter includes Pocket Storage, couldn't be confirmed from the available quest data.
What changed in Pocket Storage between versions?
There isn't much history to dig into for Pocket Storage. All the Mods 10 2.36 ships Pocket Storage version 1.2.4+1.21.1-b40, in the file pocketstorage-1.2.4+1.21.1-b40.jar.[1]
The mod has been around for a while. It was first included in All the Mods 10 1.9 or earlier, so if you've been playing since the early releases, you've probably had it the whole time.[1]
Unverified No pack changelog entries mention Pocket Storage, and no changelogs are available for the shipped jar. That means specific changes between pack releases, such as version bumps, recipe tweaks or config changes, can't be confirmed here.
