What is Pocket Storage?
Same as in the All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 guide
Pocket Storage is part of the pack, and this pack ships version 1.2.5 of it, built for Minecraft 1.21.1. That is the version this guide describes.[1]
Unverified I can't confirm what Pocket Storage's items and mechanics do, who it suits best, or where it fits in the progression. The sources I have only confirm that the mod is installed. I found no guidebook for it, no quests that involve it, and no sign that it is on the ATM Star path, so this overview doesn't claim any of those.
Check the other sections of this guide for recipes or configs as they are confirmed. Until then, treat anything beyond the installed version as unverified.[1]
How do you get started with Pocket Storage?
2 parts
Pocket Storage is a simple mod: you make one item, the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1, and then upgrade it in three more steps. There is nothing else to set up, so the whole progression is four recipes.[2]
Step 1: craft the Tier 1 unit
Start with the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1. It is the base of everything else in the mod, and every later tier is built from it. This is a normal crafting table recipe, so you can make it as soon as you have the materials.[2]

Each unit holds a set number of different items, up to a set amount of each. It also automatically absorbs matching items when you pick them up.[3]
Step 2: upgrade as you progress
The higher tiers are not crafted from scratch. Each one uses the pack's upgrade recipe type and builds on the unit from the tier below, so keep your old unit and upgrade it. You can do this in order as your resources allow.[2]
- Make the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 2 from your Tier 1 unit.[2]
- Make the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 3 from your Tier 2 unit.[2]
- Make the Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4 from your Tier 3 unit. This is the final tier.[2]

How does Pocket Storage work?
3 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Pocket Storage is built around one item: the Pocket Storage Unit, a portable storage item that comes in four tiers, from Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 up to Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4. There are no machines, multiblocks or power systems here. It's all about what the unit does while it sits in your inventory.[3][4]
How storage works
Every tier works the same way. A unit holds a set number of different item types, and it can store up to a set amount of each type. The tooltip shows both limits for the unit you're holding, so check it when you pick one up.[3]
Unverified The exact number of item types and the per-item limit for each tier could not be confirmed. The tooltip fills them in from values that aren't in the available sources. Check the in-game tooltip for the real numbers.
Auto-pickup and voiding
This is the unit's key trick. When you pick up items that match what's stored in it, the unit absorbs them automatically. That keeps your main inventory free of the blocks and drops you collect most while mining or building.[3]
Tier progression
You craft Tier 1 with a normal shaped recipe. You don't craft Tiers 2, 3 and 4 from scratch. Each one uses a special upgrade recipe that takes the previous tier's unit as one of its inputs. So you climb the tiers by upgrading the unit you already have.[4]

Upgrades a Tier 3 unit
Unverified It could not be confirmed whether items stored in a unit carry over when you upgrade it to the next tier. Empty it first if you're not sure. It's also unconfirmed how you get items back out, or whether hoppers, pipes or other automation can interact with the units.
How do you progress through Pocket Storage?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 guide
Pocket Storage has four tiers of unit, and in this pack you climb them one step at a time. Tier 1 is crafted from scratch. Tiers 2, 3 and 4 are upgrades that build on the unit from the tier below, so you never throw your old unit away.[5]
The progression is all in the recipes. Each step asks for a more valuable material class than the last, so the tiers line up with how far you are into the pack.[5]
Tier 1
Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 1 is the entry point, and it is the only tier made with a regular shaped crafting recipe.[5]

Tier 2
Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 2 uses the mod's own upgrade recipe type. You feed your Tier 1 unit into it rather than crafting a new unit from nothing.[5]

Unverified The sources don't show any quests that involve Pocket Storage, so there is no confirmed quest path for these tiers. The recipes above are the only progression information available. The storage capacity of each tier is also unconfirmed.
How does Pocket Storage work with other mods?
2 parts
Pocket Storage only shows up in one cross-mod recipe in this pack, but it's a big one. The Pocket Storage Unit Tier: 4 is one of the ingredients for the Pulsating Black Hole, and the pack added that recipe itself.[2]
Pulsating Black Hole
This is a shaped crafting recipe that pulls in items from nine different mods, so it works as a real showcase of the pack. Alongside the Pocket Storage item, it uses the ME Quantum Ring, the Lightning Bomb, the Explosive Mycelial Generator, the Fire Upgrade Orb, the Paradox Machine, the Stable Wormhole, the Micromissiles and the Crystal Staff.[2]

Pack-added recipe. The recipe id suggests a Pressure Chamber-style path, but the source only confirms it as a shaped crafting recipe.
What's not covered
Unverified No quests in this pack involve Pocket Storage, and no other recipes linking it to other mods were found in the sources, so there is nothing confirmed beyond the recipe above.
