What is Mystical Agradditions?

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. If you're already growing essence crops and want more to chase, this is the mod for you. Its headline feature is a tier 6 essence, Insanium, with tier 6 crops for high-tier materials like Nether Stars, Awakened Draconium and Neutronium.[1]
It also adds paxels, which combine a pickaxe, axe and shovel in a single tool. On top of that you get Tinkers' Construct integration and Essence Coal, which can cook more items than regular Coal.[1]
This pack ships Mystical Agradditions 8.0.8, and it has been in the pack since 1.0 or earlier.[2]
Resource crops
The mod's project page lists resource crops for Nether Star, Dragon Egg, Gaia Spirit, Awakened Draconium, Neutronium and Nitro Crystal. That list is marked as last updated for version 7.0.2, and the pack runs 8.0.8, so check the crops in game before you plan around them.[1][2]
Where it shows up in the quests
The mod's items appear in the pack's Mystical Agriculture quest chapter. Each tier has an apple quest: Inferium (a quest in "?"), Prudentium (a quest in "?"), Tertium (a quest in "?"), Imperium (a quest in "?") and Supremium (a quest in "?"). The matching items are Inferium Apple, Prudentium Apple, Tertium Apple, Imperium Apple and Supremium Apple.[3]
The tool quests for each tier accept a whole family of tools, and the paxel is one of the accepted options. Examples are Inferium Paxel in a quest in "?", Prudentium Paxel in a quest in "?", Tertium Paxel in a quest in "?", Imperium Paxel in a quest in "?" and Supremium Paxel in a quest in "?". The Awakened Supremium tier has Awakened Supremium Paxel in a quest in "?".[3]
The Insanium tier has its own quest chain. a quest in "?" asks for Insanium Essence. Three quests follow it: a quest in "?" for the Insanium Apple, a quest in "?" for the Insanium Coal Block and a quest in "?" for Creative Essence.[3]
Unverified The sources I was given don't show this mod on the ATM Star quest path, so don't count on it as part of that route.
How do you get started with Mystical Agradditions?

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It brings tier 6 essence (Insanium), paxels that combine a pickaxe, axe and shovel into one tool, and essence coal that cooks more items than regular coal. Your first steps are to grab a few of these items early and to learn where this pack changed the recipes.[1]
Make a paxel
A paxel combines a pickaxe, axe and shovel in a single tool, so it is a handy first craft. The paxel recipes for Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium are all marked as changed by this pack, so don't rely on recipes from the mod's own page or other guides. The quest a quest in "?" accepts Inferium Paxel or any of the other Inferium tools, so you can complete it either way. Each higher tier has the same kind of quest, for example a quest in "?" for Prudentium and a quest in "?" for Tertium.[3]

The apples come next. a quest in "?" asks for an Inferium Apple. Its crafting recipe is the mod's own:[3][4]

Essence coal is worth making early because it can cook more items than regular coal. Here is the Inferium version:[1]
Work towards Insanium Essence
Insanium Essence is the tier 6 essence, and many of the mod's later recipes use it. In this pack its crafting recipe is changed and starts from Supremium Essence, so you will be well along the Mystical Agriculture tiers before you make it.[1][4]

Getting your first Insanium Essence completes a quest in "?". That quest leads on to a quest in "?" (the Insanium Apple), a quest in "?" (the Insanium Coal Block) and a quest in "?" (Creative Essence).[3]
Looking ahead
Some boss drops are used later in the mod. Dragon Scale is dropped by the Ender Dragon upon death, and Withering Soul is dropped by the Wither upon death. The pack changed the recipes of the crux items that use them, such as the Dragon Egg Crux below.[4][5]

How does Mystical Agradditions work?

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture, so most of how it works is about growing, crafting and cooking rather than running machines. The sources here cover Tier 6 crops, Cruxes, Essence Coal, Essence Apples, Paxels and some extra ore variants, and that is what this section walks through.[1][5]
Insanium and Tier 6 crops
Insanium Essence is an extra tier of essence above Supremium, and you use it to create Tier 6 Crops. Those crops play by different rules from the lower tiers, so it's worth knowing them before you plant anything.[5]
- They need a Crux below the farmland to grow.[5]
- They never drop a second seed when harvested.[5]
- They usually can't be grown with Mystical Fertilizer or Fertilized Essence.[5]
The pack has its own recipe for Insanium Essence, so use this one rather than anything you remember from the mod's defaults.[4]

Cruxes
Cruxes are blocks that you place under a Tier 6 Crop so that it can grow. The resource crops in the mod cover the Nether Star, Dragon Egg, Gaia Spirit, Awakened Draconium, Neutronium and Nitro Crystal, and the language file lists a matching Crux block for each of them.[1][5]
The pack changes the recipes for four of them: Nether Star Crux, Dragon Egg Crux, Awakened Draconium Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux. Two of them need drops from boss fights. Dragon Scale is dropped by the Ender Dragon on death, and Withering Soul is dropped by the Wither on death.[4][5]

Essence Coal
Essence Coal can cook more items than regular Coal. Imperium Coal and Insanium Coal are both crafted from plain coal plus the matching essence.[1][4]
For storage, Imperium Coal Block has its own recipe, and there is a shapeless recipe that turns one block back into 9 Imperium Coal.[4]

Essence Apples and molten Imperium
Essence Apples are a much "healthier" alternative to regular Apples, giving buffs and additional nutrition. Insanium Apple and Imperium Apple can both be crafted by hand from a golden apple and the matching essence.[4][5]

The pack adds a fluid route for the Imperium Apple as well. Melting an Imperium Block gives 810 Molten Imperium. Casting a golden apple with 720 Molten Imperium gives an Imperium Apple. The pack changed both of these recipes.[4]

Ore variants
The mod adds Nether and End versions of Prosperity and Inferium ore. The Nether ones usually spawn at all Y levels in the Nether, and the End ones usually spawn at all Y levels in the End.[5]
How do you progress through Mystical Agradditions?

In this pack, the Mystical Agradditions quests sit in a chapter that is laid out tier by tier. Each tier has one quest for its apple and one for its tools. The tool quests accept any one item from a long list of swords, pickaxes, hoes, bows and more, and the paxel from this mod is one of the options.[3]

Apples and paxels in the pack
Each apple tier from Inferium through Insanium has its normal crafting recipe from the mod. For Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium there is also a casting recipe that the pack changed, which uses the matching molten metal. Productive Metalworks can melt the essences and blocks into those metals. The sources show no casting recipe for the Insanium apple.[4]

Insanium
The quest for Insanium Essence is a quest in "?". It unlocks from the same quest as the Supremium apple and tool quests. The pack changed the crafting recipe for the essence, so check it here instead of relying on the base mod.[3][4]

The pack also has a Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, named for the Insanium honeycomb, that outputs Insanium Essence and wax. The dump shows no item inputs for it. You can also turn an Insanium Block back into essence.[4]

How does Mystical Agradditions work with other mods?

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on to Mystical Agriculture, so nearly every link to another mod runs through Mystical Agriculture's essences and tools. This pack then reaches out much further, pulling the add-on's items into recipes from other mods. Here is what the in-pack recipes and quests show.[1][4]
Mystical Agriculture
The apples, the Essence Coal and the paxels are all crafted from Mystical Agriculture materials of the matching tier. Each paxel merges that tier's axe, pickaxe and shovel into one tool. In this pack the Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium paxel recipes are all changed from the mod defaults, so check the recipe below rather than relying on what you remember from other packs.[4]

The quest book follows the same lines. The Mystical Agriculture chapter has an apple quest for each tier, such as a quest in "?" for the Inferium Apple, and a paxel-or-tools quest for each tier, such as a quest in "?" for Supremium. Draconic Evolution and Powah
Insanium Essence is also needed for the high-end crux items. The Awakened Draconium Crux pulls in Draconic Evolution items such as the Awakened Draconium Block and the Dragon Heart. The Nitro Crystal Crux uses Powah's Nitro Capacitor and Nitro Crystal. Both recipes are changed by the pack.[4]

Productive Metalworks
The pack adds melting and casting recipes that link Mystical Agriculture's tiers to molten fluids from this add-on. You can melt essences and blocks of Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium into their molten forms, for example Molten Supremium. You can then cast those back into essences, blocks and ingots. Every one of these recipes is changed by the pack.[4]

Productive Bees
Bees give you another route to this add-on's materials. The pack changes a centrifuge recipe so an Insanium honeycomb produces Insanium Essence and wax. There is also an infusion recipe for an Insanium bee, and a starry honeycomb centrifuge recipe that yields an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard.[4]

Pack-added end-game items
Some of the pack's own late-game recipes use items from this mod alongside items from many other mods. The Dragon Soul needs the Dragon Scale. The Philosopher's Fuel needs the Insanium Coal Block. Both recipes are added by the pack and are not in the mod itself.[4]

All the quests that involve this mod sit in one chapter, "elmystical_agriculturerr". The quests have no titles, so they are identified by their IDs below. Each one is a simple item-submission task, and they come in pairs by essence tier: one for that tier's apple and one for a tool.[3]

Separately, a quest in "?" asks for one Awakened Supremium tool, and the Awakened Supremium Paxel counts. It unlocks from its own earlier quest.[3]
Unverified The quests that unlock each tier's pair are not part of the information I have, so how the tiers chain together, and where the Awakened Supremium quest sits relative to the others, is unconfirmed. Following the tier names from Inferium up to Supremium is the natural order, but check it in your quest book.
What changed in Mystical Agradditions between versions?

All the Mods 10: To the Sky 1.0.2 ships Mystical Agradditions 8.0.8 for Minecraft 1.21.1. The mod has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier, so that is the version you get in this release.[2]
What changed in 8.0.8
The mod's own changelog for 8.0.8 lists these changes:[6]
- The pt_br translations were updated.[6]
- Nether ores not generating was fixed.[6]
- The Neutronium seed, essence and crux recipes were fixed. The fix supports both Avaritia Lite and Re:Avaritia.[6]
Unverified The sources here include no pack changelog entries for Mystical Agradditions, so whether the pack itself changed anything about this mod between releases is not shown. Check the pack's own changelogs for that.
