What is Mystical Agradditions?
3 parts
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It adds tier 6 crops, Paxels (one tool that works as a pickaxe, axe and shovel), Tinkers' Construct integration and Essence Coal that can cook more items than regular Coal. This pack includes version 8.0.9.[1][2]
Tier 6 and Insanium
The big draw is Insanium, the Tier 6 essence, which you unlock after Supremium. It is the top of the Mystical Agriculture ladder in this pack. If you've been working up through the essence tiers and want the next step, this mod is for you.[1][3]
Insanium-tier seeds need a crux of the matching type placed below the farmland before they will grow, and the mod adds Insanium Farmland for this tier. The quest book has tier 6 entries for the Awakened Draconium Crux and the Dragon Egg Crux, both unlocked after Insanium Farmland and the Infusion Altar.[3]
Paxels and apples
Paxels are the mod's tool addition. The tier tool quests accept them, for example Inferium Paxel for "Inferium Tools" quest and Supremium Paxel for "Supremium Tools" quest. There are also tiered apples that give buffs. The Inferium Apple gives Absorption II for 3:00, and each higher tier adds more effects. The Insanium Apple gives Absorption, Speed, Resistance, Regeneration, Strength and Haste, all at level II for 3:00. See "MA Apples" quest for the full set.[1][3][4]
The ATM Star connection
The quest book says an Insanium Coal Block is needed to craft the ATM Star, and so is Creative Essence. That makes this mod a stop on the way to that goal, even though it is not on the ATM Star quest path itself. See a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" and "Creative Essence" quest for the details.[3]
Unverified The resource crop list on the mod's project page (Nether Star, Dragon Egg, Gaia Spirit, Awakened Draconium, Neutronium and Nitro Crystal) was last updated for version 7.0.2, while this pack uses 8.0.9. Only the Awakened Draconium and Dragon Egg crops are confirmed in this pack's quests, so check the others in-game before you plan around them.
How do you get started with Mystical Agradditions?
6 parts
Mystical Agradditions builds on Mystical Agriculture. It adds the tier 6 essence, Insanium, plus paxels, tiered apples and essence coal. In the quest book the items sit along the essence tiers, so start with the low-tier items below and work your way up to Insanium.[1][3]
Step one: make a paxel
A paxel combines a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel in one tool, so it is a great early upgrade. The pack changed the paxel recipes, so use the one below instead of what you remember from the mod. The Inferium Paxel counts toward the Inferium Tools quest, and that quest notes that essence tools can be augmented in the Tinkering Table.[1][3][5]

The pack changed this recipe, and each higher tier has its own paxel recipe in the same style.
Step two: tiered apples
Each tier of apple gives a new positive effect. The Inferium Apple gives Absorption II for 3:00. The Prudentium Apple adds Speed II, the Tertium Apple adds Resistance II, and the Imperium Apple adds Regeneration II. The Supremium Apple adds Strength II, and the Insanium Apple adds Haste II. All of the effects last 3:00.[3][4]

The pack also has a casting route for the apples that uses molten metals. The Inferium Apple has one, and the recipe dump marks it as changed by the pack.[5]
Item Casting (productivemetalworks)

Step three: essence coal
Essence coal can cook more items than regular coal, so it is worth making a stack early. The Inferium Coal is the first tier of it.[1][5]
Keep going up the tiers and you will reach the Insanium Coal Block. Its quest calls it great for smelting a ton of items, and you need one to craft the ATM Star.[3]

Step four: Insanium Essence
Insanium Essence is the tier 6 essence. Its quest comes after the Supremium quests, and many of the recipes in this mod use it. The pack changed this recipe, so follow the one below.[3][5]

Step five: Insanium Farmland
Tier 6 seeds grow on Insanium Farmland. The quest says that for seeds of this tier you need a crux of the same type placed below the farmland, or the seeds will not grow. There is a crafting recipe for the farmland and a separate tilling recipe that turns dirt into it.[3][5]
Farmland Till (mysticalagriculture)
Recipe id: mysticalagradditions:insanium_farmland_till
Step six: cruxes for tier 6 seeds
The quest book has entries for the Awakened Draconium, Dragon Egg and Nether Star seeds. Each pairs a seed with its matching crux, and they come after Insanium Farmland and the Infusion Altar. The pack changed all three crux recipes.[3][5]

How does Mystical Agradditions work?
7 parts
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture, so most of its mechanics are about growing, crafting and cooking. This section covers Tier 6 crops, Cruxes, essence items, the molten fluids and the Paxels.[1][6]
Tier 6 crops and Insanium
Insanium Essence is an extra essence tier above Supremium, and it is what you use to make Tier 6 crops. The mod's own description says Tier 6 crops behave differently from the lower tiers.[6]
- They need a Crux below the farmland to grow.[6]
- They never drop a second seed when harvested.[6]
- They usually cannot be grown with Mystical Fertilizer or Fertilized Essence.[6]
In this pack, Insanium Essence is crafted with the recipe below, and the pack changed it from the default.[5]

Cruxes
Cruxes are blocks you place under a Tier 6 crop so that it can grow. The mod's language file lists six: Awakened Draconium, Dragon Egg, Gaia Spirit, Neutronium, Nether Star and Nitro Crystal. These match the mod's resource crops, which come from vanilla (Nether Star, Dragon Egg), Botania (Gaia Spirit), Draconic Evolution (Awakened Draconium), Avaritia (Neutronium) and Powah (Nitro Crystal).[1][6]
The pack changed the recipes for four of them, shown below. Two of these recipes use mod drops: Dragon Scale is dropped by the Ender Dragon on death, and Withering Soul is dropped by the Wither on death.[5][6]

Essence Coal
Essence Coal can cook more items than regular Coal. Two examples are Imperium Coal and Insanium Coal, both mod recipes.[1][5]

Molten fluids and casting
The mod adds six molten fluids, each with its own bucket: Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium, Supremium and Soulium. In this pack, Productive Metalworks recipes use them. Melting an Imperium Block gives 810 Molten Imperium, and the pack changed that recipe. The pack also changed a casting recipe for the Imperium Apple that uses 720 Molten Imperium.[5][6]

Paxels
Essence Paxels work as a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool. The mod has Paxels for Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium, plus an Awakened Supremium Paxel. The pack changed the Imperium Paxel recipe.[5][6]

The language file also lists two tool modifiers. Prosperous gives tools and weapons a chance to drop Prosperity Shards, and Soul Siphoner makes weapons siphon Mob Souls like a Soulium Dagger.[6]
Ore variants
The mod adds Prosperity and Inferium ore variants for the Nether and the End. Nether Prosperity and Nether Inferium ores usually spawn at all Y levels in the Nether, and End Prosperity and End Inferium ores usually spawn at all Y levels in the End.[6]
How do you progress through Mystical Agradditions?
3 parts
In the pack's Mystical Agriculture quest chapter, the ladder runs Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium, Supremium, and then Insanium. Mystical Agradditions supplies the apples, the paxels and everything from Insanium upward. Each tier's apple and tool quests unlock after the matching tier's quest.[3]
Tiered apples
Every tier has its own apple, and each step up keeps the previous buffs and adds one more. The quest "MA Apples" quest groups them all, and its text says each tier gives a new positive effect. The pack also adds casting recipes through Productive Metalworks that make the apples from molten tier metal, and it marks these as changed by the pack.[3][4][5]
- Inferium Apple: Absorption II (3:00).[3]
- Prudentium Apple: adds Speed II (3:00).[3]
- Tertium Apple: adds Resistance II (3:00).[3]
- Imperium Apple: adds Regeneration II (3:00).[3]
- Supremium Apple: adds Strength II (3:00).[3]
- Insanium Apple: adds Haste II (3:00).[3]

Tools and paxels
Each tier has a tools quest, such as "Inferium Tools" quest and "Supremium Tools" quest, and each of these accepts that tier's paxel as one of its options. The Inferium quest explains that essence tools can be upgraded to higher tiers and, like armor, augmented in the Tinkering Table.[3]
The pack changed the paxel recipes for Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium, so check the recipe below rather than relying on the mod's defaults.[5]

Past Supremium there is also the Awakened Supremium Paxel. It comes from an awakening recipe that starts from the Supremium Paxel. It has its own quest, which follows the Awakened Supremium quest.[3][5]

How does Mystical Agradditions work with other mods?
5 parts
Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture, so most of its connections run through that mod. This pack also ties it into several other mods through its own recipes, and a few of those recipes are changed from the mod's defaults.[1][5]
Mystical Agriculture
Every paxel is built from the matching Mystical Agriculture axe, pickaxe and shovel. In this pack the Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium paxel recipes are all changed. The Awakened Supremium Paxel goes through the Mystical Agriculture awakening recipe, starting from the Supremium Paxel. The paxels also count toward the tool quests in the Mystical Agriculture chapter.[3][5]

All the Mods items
Two of this mod's items are needed for the ATM Star: the Insanium Coal Block and Creative Essence. Both have quests in the Mystical Agriculture chapter, placed after the Insanium quest.[3]
The pack's own recipes use more of this mod's items. Philosopher's Fuel needs an Insanium Coal Block alongside items from many other mods. Dragon Soul needs a Dragon Scale. The creative jetpack uses Insanium Essence. A starry honeycomb centrifuge recipe gives ATM Star Shards and Nether Star Shards.[5]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Mystical Agradditions?
4 parts
This mod shows up in two quest chapters: most of it is in the Mystical Agriculture chapter, and one extra quest is in Food and Farming. The Mystical Agriculture quests are all unlocked by the tier quests of the base farming mod, so you work up the essence tiers and pick these up as you go.[3][4]
Mystical Agriculture chapter
The quests follow the tiers, from Inferium up to Insanium. Each tier gets an apple quest, and most get a tools quest too. The tools quests accept any one tool from a list, and the list includes the tier's paxel from this mod, such as the Inferium Paxel or the Supremium Paxel.[3]
- "Inferium Apple" quest and "Inferium Tools" quest come after the Inferium tier. They ask for the Inferium Apple and for any Inferium tool.[3]
- "Prudentium Apple" quest and "Prudentium Tools" quest come after Prudentium. They ask for the Prudentium Apple and any Prudentium tool, which can be the Prudentium Paxel.[3]
- "Tertium Apple" quest and "Tertium Tools" quest come after Tertium. They ask for the Tertium Apple and any Tertium tool, which can be the Tertium Paxel.[3]
- "Imperium Apple" quest and "Imperium Tools" quest come after Imperium. They ask for the Imperium Apple and any Imperium tool, which can be the Imperium Paxel.[3]
- "Supremium Apple" quest and "Supremium Tools" quest come after Supremium. They ask for the Supremium Apple and any Supremium tool. "Insanium" quest also unlocks here and asks for Insanium Essence, the Tier 6 essence.[3]
- After Insanium you get "Insanium Apple" quest for the Insanium Apple, "Insanium Farmland" quest for Insanium Farmland, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" for the Insanium Coal Block, and "Creative Essence" quest for Creative Essence.[3]
The farmland quest explains that seeds of this tier need a crux of the same type placed below the farmland before they will grow.[3]
Crux and Awakened quests
Three Tier 6 quests unlock after both Insanium Farmland and the Infusion Altar. Each one asks for a seed and its matching crux. a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" wants Awakened Draconium seeds and the Awakened Draconium Crux. a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" wants Dragon Egg seeds and the Dragon Egg Crux. a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" wants Nether Star seeds and the Nether Star Crux.[3]
Last, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" comes after the Awakened Supremium quest. It accepts any one Awakened Supremium tool, including the Awakened Supremium Paxel.[3]
Apple effects
The apple quests list the buffs each apple gives, and every effect lasts 3:00. The Inferium Apple gives Absorption II. Each higher apple keeps the previous effects and adds one more: Speed II for Prudentium, Resistance II for Tertium, Regeneration II for Imperium, Strength II for Supremium, and Haste II for Insanium.[3]
Food and Farming chapter
"MA Apples" quest, "MA Apples", unlocks after the "Notch" apple quest. It accepts any one of the six tiered apples, from the Inferium Apple up to the Insanium Apple. The quest text says each tier gives a new positive effect and calls them pretty OP.[4]
