Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals is a mod in All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.1.0, where it is version 1.7.1. Adds Tiered Crystals to Mystical Agriculture. (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals?

2 parts

Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. Normally you only get two crafting crystals, and this mod expands that to five. The pack includes version 1.7.1 of it.[1][2]

For Minecraft 1.16 and newer, the five crystals are Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium.[1]

The recipes are nested. You can't skip straight to a higher crystal, because each tier needs the previous one crafted first. If you like a clear progression ladder in your farming, this is for you.[1]

Who it's for

It's for players who already use Mystical Agriculture and want a longer crystal progression, with more steps between the early crystals and Supremium.[1]

Things to know

  • The Master Infusion Crystal requires a Supremium Infusion Crystal, whether or not Mystical Agradditions is installed.[1]
  • If Mystical Agradditions is installed, the Master Infusion Crystal recipe uses Insanium instead of Supremium.[1]
  • The config lets you set the durability of each crystal, and you can also turn durability on or off for the crystals.[1]

Unverified The sources don't show whether Mystical Agradditions is part of the pack, so it's unverified which Master Infusion Crystal recipe applies here. They also don't show any quests or an ATM Star path connection for this mod, so where it fits in the pack's progression is unverified.

How do you get started with Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals?

6 parts

This mod adds five crafting crystals to Mystical Agriculture: Inferium Crystal, Prudentium Crystal, Tertium Crystal, Imperium Crystal and Supremium Crystal. The recipes are nested, so you can't skip a tier.[1][3]

First: Inferium Crystal

Everything starts with the Inferium Crystal. This is the one crystal recipe in the chain that the pack has changed, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's default. The block below shows the exact in-pack version.[3]

This recipe is changed by the pack.

Next: Prudentium Crystal

Next comes the Prudentium Crystal. It upgrades your Inferium Crystal, and this recipe is the mod's own, not a pack change.[3]

Then: Tertium Crystal

The Tertium Crystal takes the Prudentium Crystal you just made as its base.[3]

After that: Imperium Crystal

Then you upgrade the Tertium Crystal into the Imperium Crystal.[3]

Last: Supremium Crystal

The last step is the Supremium Crystal, made from the Imperium Crystal.[3]

Tip: Every tier is built from the previous crystal, so you can't jump straight to a higher one. Craft them in order, from Inferium up to Supremium.[1][3]

Durability

The mod has config options that set the durability of each crystal individually and that decide whether crystals lose durability at all. There are also options to show an upgrade tooltip and a "Uses Left" tooltip on crystals.[1][4]

How does Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals work?

4 parts

This mod adds a ladder of five crafting crystals to Mystical Agriculture, so the mechanics come down to the crafting chain plus a few durability and tooltip options.[1]

The crystal tiers

In the 1.16+ version, the five crystals are Inferium Crystal, Prudentium Crystal, Tertium Crystal, Imperium Crystal and Supremium Crystal. The recipes are nested, so you can't skip ahead. Each tier above the first is crafted from the crystal one step below it.[1][3]

Crafting the chain

The first rung is the only one the pack touched. The recipe for the Inferium Crystal is changed by the pack, so don't rely on what you remember from the mod's defaults. The rest of the chain is listed as the mod's own recipes.[3]

Uses the Inferium Crystal from the step before.

Uses the Prudentium Crystal from the step before.

Uses the Tertium Crystal from the step before.

The top of the ladder, made from the Imperium Crystal.

Tip: Every step in the chain uses the previous crystal, so plan to craft all five in order. Jumping straight to a higher crystal isn't possible.[1][3]

Durability

The mod can make crystals lose durability as they're used. There is a global toggle for whether crystals lose durability at all, and a global setting for the number of uses of each infusion crystal.[1][4]

Each of the five crystals also has its own durability value and its own on/off switch for durability.[1][4]

Tooltips

  • An optional "Uses Left" line can be shown on crystal tooltips.[4]
  • An optional upgrade line can show the "tier -> tier" progression on crystal tooltips.[4]

Unverified The pack ships no config files for this mod that the sources here show, so the actual durability values, whether durability is switched on, and whether the tooltips are shown can't be confirmed from these sources.

How do you progress through Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals?

6 parts

The Tiered Crystals form a simple ladder, and the pack's recipes tell you exactly what order to climb it in. Every crystal after the first is crafted from the crystal one rung below it, so you can't skip a tier.[3]

The tier order

  1. Inferium Crystal is where you start. It is the only crystal that doesn't need a lower crystal.[3]
  2. Prudentium Crystal is the first upgrade, built from the Inferium Crystal.[3]
  3. Tertium Crystal is built from the Prudentium Crystal.[3]
  4. Imperium Crystal is built from the Tertium Crystal.[3]
  5. Supremium Crystal is the top of the chain, built from the Imperium Crystal.[3]

Every one of these is a shaped crafting recipe, and each step also uses the essence that matches its tier.[3]

Inferium Crystal

This is the one recipe the pack has changed from the mod's own version, so don't rely on what you remember from other modpacks. Use the in-pack recipe below.[3]

Supremium Crystal

Tip: Because each tier uses up the crystal below it, plan your Inferium Crystal production first. Everything higher in the chain starts from it.[3]

Unverified The pack's quest book is where quest guidance would be told, and the sources here do not show any quest for this mod. This section is based only on the crafting chain.

How does Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals work with other mods?

3 parts

This add-on is built entirely around Mystical Agriculture. Every crystal recipe in the pack pulls in Mystical Agriculture items, and the last step reaches into Mystical Agradditions. No quests in this pack involve the mod, so the in-pack recipes are the whole story.[1][3]

Mystical Agriculture: the crystal ladder

The mod adds 5 crafting crystals to Mystical Agriculture: Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium. Each recipe is nested, so you can't skip a tier. You need the previous crystal to craft the next one.[1][3]

Every tier also uses the matching Mystical Agriculture essence plus a Prosperity Shard. For example, the Prudentium Crystal uses Prudentium Essence and the Supremium Crystal uses Supremium Essence. That means your essence farms feed straight into this chain.[3]

The pack changed the Inferium Crystal

The first rung, the Inferium Crystal, is changed by the pack. Besides Inferium Essence and a Prosperity Shard, it takes any item from the inferium gems tag. Because it's a tag, any mod that supplies an item in that tag can fill that slot.[3]

Mystical Agradditions: the Master Infusion Crystal

The Master Infusion Crystal is the one place this mod connects to Mystical Agradditions, and the pack changes this recipe too. It combines the top-tier Supremium Crystal with Insanium Essence and a Prosperity Shard.[3]

The mod's own description says that with Mystical Agradditions installed, the Master Infusion Crystal recipe uses Insanium instead of Supremium. It also says the Master Infusion Crystal needs a Supremium Infusion Crystal either way. The in-pack recipe above is what counts here, so follow that one.[1]

Tip: To reach the Master Infusion Crystal, work up the whole chain in order: Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium, then Supremium. Then bring in Insanium Essence from Mystical Agradditions for the final craft.[1][3]

What changed in Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals between versions?

1 part

There isn't much history to cover for this mod, so this section is short. Mystical Agriculture Tiered Crystals has been in the pack since All the Mods 10: To the Sky 1.0 or earlier, and All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 ships version 1.7.1 of it.[2]

Mod changelog

  • 1.7.1: fixes a crash on dedicated servers. This is the version you get in 2.0.4, so if you run a server with this pack you already have the fix.[2][5]

The sources I was given have no pack changelog entries for this mod, so I can't point to any pack-specific changes to it between releases.[2]
