What is Mystical Agradditions?

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It adds a Tier 6 essence called Insanium, Tier 6 crops, Paxels (a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool), Tinkers' Construct integration and Essence Coal that can cook more items than regular coal. This pack ships version 8.0.14.[1][2]
It's for you once you've worked through the Mystical Agriculture essence tiers and want to go further. In this pack, the Insanium quests come right after Supremium.[3]
Where it fits in the progression
- Insanium Essence is the Tier 6 essence, made by combining 4 Supremium with an Infusion Crystal. See "Insanium" quest.[3]
- Tier 6 and magical seeds need a certain Crux placed directly below the Farmland they grow on. Insanium Farmland is the next step, and the pack's quests cover the Dragon Egg Crux, Nitro Crystal Crux and Nether Star Crux.[3][4]
- Every essence tool quest, from Inferium Paxel up to Supremium Paxel, accepts that tier's Paxel. Essence tools can also be Augmented in the Tinkering Table.[3]
- Each essence tier has an apple, and the buffs stack as you climb. The Inferium Apple gives Absorption II for 3:00, and the Insanium Apple adds Speed II, Resistance II, Regeneration II, Strength II and Haste II on top, all for 3:00.[3]
The ATM Star path
This mod is a required stop on the way to the ATM Star. The quests say you need an Insanium Coal Block and Creative Essence to craft it.[3]
"Creative Essence" quest comes after the Master Infusion Crystal, 4 Insanium Gemstone Blocks and 4 Insanium Blocks. The quest text puts the Insanium Blocks at 9,216 Inferium Essence each, or 36,864 for all four. The four Gemstone Blocks double that to 18,432 Inferium Essence.[4]
Unverified The mod's project page also lists Gaia Spirit, Awakened Draconium and Neutronium as Tier 6 resource crops, but that list was last updated for version 7.0.2. Whether those crops exist in this pack's version 8.0.14 is not confirmed here.
How do you get started with Mystical Agradditions?

Mystical Agradditions builds on Mystical Agriculture and adds a sixth essence tier: Insanium. Your first goal is to make Insanium Essence, then use it to unlock tier 6 farming.[1][3]
Step by step
- Make Insanium Essence. The quest book describes it as the Tier 6 essence, made by combining 4 Supremium together with an Infusion Crystal. The recipe below shows exactly what the pack uses.[3][5]
- Make Insanium Farmland. To grow Tier 6 or Magical Seeds, a certain Crux has to be placed directly below the farmland they are growing on. You can craft the farmland, or till dirt into it with the essence (both recipes are below).[3][5]
- Build the Crux for the seed you want. Dragon Egg Seeds need a Dragon Egg Crux, Nitro Crystal Seeds need a Nitro Crystal Crux, and Nether Star Seeds need a Nether Star Crux.[3]

The pack changed all three of these Crux recipes. Some of the ingredients are boss drops: the Ender Dragon drops Dragon Scale on death, and the Wither drops Withering Soul.[5][6]

Quick wins along the way
Essence apples give timed buffs, and each tier adds more. The Inferium Apple gives Absorption II (3:00). The Insanium Apple gives Absorption II, Speed II, Resistance II, Regeneration II, Strength II and Haste II, all for 3:00.[3]

Essence Coal can cook more items than regular coal. The quest book calls the Insanium Coal Block great for smelting a ton of items, and you need one to craft the ATM Star.[1][3]

The big goal: Creative Essence
The pack's quests point you at Creative Essence, which is needed to craft the ATM Star. Its recipe was added by the pack and uses an Insanium Block, an Insanium Gemstone Block and a Master Infusion Crystal.[3][5]

How does Mystical Agradditions work?

Here's the honest picture first: the sources for this mod don't describe any machines, multiblocks, power systems or fluid handling. Mystical Agradditions is an add-on to Mystical Agriculture that mostly adds crops, materials and tools, so the mechanics you can actually confirm come down to crafting and drops.[1]
What the mod adds

Tool modifiers
The mod's language file describes some tool modifiers. Prosperous gives tools and weapons a chance to drop Prosperity Shards. Soul Siphoner makes weapons siphon Mob Souls like a Soulium Dagger.[6]
How do you progress through Mystical Agradditions?

Mystical Agradditions builds on top of Mystical Agriculture. It adds apples, paxels and coal for the essence tiers, plus the Insanium tier and the Crux items that let the top-tier seeds grow. In this pack the quests are grouped under each tier name, and the apple buffs stack up in the order Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium, Supremium, then Insanium.[3][5]
Apples at every tier
Each tier has its own apple, and every apple adds one more buff on top of the previous one. All the buffs last 3:00. Here is how the stack builds up:[3]

The pack also adds casting recipes for the Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium apples, which use the molten version of each tier. Those recipes are marked as changed by the pack.[5]
Paxels and coal
Each tools quest accepts the tier's paxel as one of its task items, for example Inferium Paxel and Supremium Paxel. The Inferium tools quest also says essence tools can be upgraded to higher tiers and can be Augmented in the Tinkering Table. The pack changed the paxel recipes for Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium.[3][5]

Every tier from Inferium to Insanium also has a coal and a coal block, each with an uncraft recipe back to coal. These are the mod's own recipes, unchanged by the pack. Insanium Coal Block matters beyond fuel: its quest says it is needed to craft the ATM Star.[3][5]

Once you have Insanium, "Insanium Farmland" quest gives you Insanium Farmland. Tier 6 and Magical seeds need a certain Crux placed directly below the farmland they grow on.[3]
Crux items for the top seeds
Three quests unlock after Insanium Farmland and the Infusion Altar. Each pairs a seed with its matching Crux, which sits below the farmland: Dragon Egg Crux for Dragon Egg Seeds, Nitro Crystal Crux for Nitro Crystal Seeds and Nether Star Crux for Nether Star Seeds. The pack changed the recipes for all three Crux items.[3][5]

The last tools quest in the Mystical Agriculture chapter follows the Awakened Supremium quest and accepts Awakened Supremium Paxel among its options. That paxel is made with an awakening recipe, which is a mod recipe rather than a pack change.[3][5]

Tier 6 seeds need a matching crux placed directly below the Insanium Farmland they grow on. The quest book covers this for Dragon Egg, Nitro Crystal and Nether Star seeds.[3]
The pack also adds Immersive Engineering cloche recipes that turn seeds into essence for Awakened Draconium, Dragon Egg, Nether Star and Nitro Crystal. Each one uses the matching crux alongside the seeds.[5]
Two cruxes pull in other mods, and the pack changed both recipes. Awakened Draconium Crux uses Draconic Evolution items. Nitro Crystal Crux uses Powah's nitro items.[5]

The pack also added an infusion recipe for Nitro Crystal Seeds. It uses a compressed Nitro Crystal block from the allthecompressed namespace, together with Insanium Essence.[5]
Productive Metalworks and Productive Bees
- Productive Metalworks melts and casts Mystical Agriculture essences, ingots and blocks for Inferium, Prudentium, Tertium, Imperium and Supremium. The molten fluids for these tiers belong to this mod, such as Molten Supremium. All of these melting and casting recipes are changed by the pack.[5]
- Casting an ingot also needs a Prosperity Ingot alongside the molten fluid.[5]
- A Productive Bees centrifuge recipe, changed by the pack, gives Insanium Essence and wax from the Insanium honeycomb. Another, also changed by the pack, gives an ATM Star Shard and a Nether Star Shard from the starry honeycomb.[5]
- The pack changed the infusion recipe for the Insanium bee. It uses an Insanium Block, Insanium Essence and a configurable bee.[5]
The road to the ATM Star
This is where the mod matters most. Creative Essence is crafted with a pack-added recipe, and the ATM Star recipe needs it. The quest book says so too.[3][5]

- Insanium Coal Block is one of the ingredients in Philosopher's Fuel, which the ATM Star recipe needs. That fuel recipe also pulls in items from Big Reactors, Create, Forbidden Arcanus, Generator Galore, Iron Furnaces, Oritech and Mystical Agriculture.[3][5]
- Nether Star Crux is part of the pack's recipe for Wither's Compass, which the ATM Star recipe also requires. That recipe mixes items from Ars Nouveau, Deeper and Darker, Generator Galore, Industrial Foregoing and Occultism.[5]
- The ATM Star is crafted with Create mechanical crafting, and the pack provides two recipe variants for it.[5]
- Withering Soul has a pack-added recipe that uses a Wither skeleton skull and a Witherless Rose from Reliquary.[5]

Two chapters in the pack's quest book involve this mod: Mystical Agriculture and The ATM Star. The first walks you up the essence tiers with apples, tools and Tier 6 growing setups. The second is the shopping list for the ATM Star.[3][4]
Mystical Agriculture chapter
Each essence tier has its own apple quest and tools quest, and each unlocks after the matching tier quest. The tools quests are "any one of" tasks. Any listed tool counts, and the paxel from this mod is one of the options. Here is the order, lowest tier first.[3]
