What is PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?

1 part

PneumaticCraft: Repressurized is an industrial tech mod built around a unique power system: compressed air. You make pressure in compressors, which are the power generators of the mod, and you move it around your base with pressure tubes. Many of its machines need that pressure to run.[1][2][3][4]

The pack includes version 6.0.23 for Minecraft 1.20.1.[5]

There is more here than machines. The mod also has its own take on automation, a very powerful and highly upgradable armor set, a logistics system for moving items and fluids and keeping inventories stocked, drone programming, and processes for renewable resources, especially biodiesel.[1][6][7][8][9]

Where it sits in the quest book

The pack's quest book has a dedicated PneumaticCraft chapter with 30 quests. It is chapter 40 of 44 and belongs to the Production group.[10]

Inside the chapter, the main line runs like this:[10]

  1. "Compressed Iron" quest asks for Compressed Iron Ingot, and "Pressure Tube" quest (a Pressure Tube) comes right after it.[10]
  2. Pressure Tube opens several quests: "The Refinery" quest, "5x5x5 Pressure Chamber" quest, "Basic Compressors" quest, and the tube module quests for the safety, pressure gauge and regulator modules.[10]
  3. The refinery leads to the Thermopneumatic Processing Plant quest, then to Bucket of Molten Plastic, then to Etching Acid Bucket. That one also needs the pressure chamber and compressor quests done first.[10]
  4. The PCB line follows: Unassembled PCB, then Finished PCB, which leads to Module Expansion Card and to "Assembly Line" quest.[10]
  5. After the Assembly Line you get Advanced Pressure Tube, then "Advanced Compressors" quest, which finishes with Creative Compressor and Air Grate Tube Module.[10]

The chapter also holds two quests for pack items, a quest in "PneumaticCraft" after the Etching Acid Bucket and a quest in "PneumaticCraft" after the Assembly Line.[10]

The mod shows up in another chapter too. The ProjectE Philo Stone chapter, also in the Production group (chapter 33 of 44), asks for Red Plastic Construction Brick™ in several quests, including one for 8 bricks. That chapter has 113 quests and only part of it was available here, so check the quest book for the rest.[11]

How do you get started with PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?

5 parts

Welcome to PneumaticCraft! The mod's own guide tells you to start with about a stack of iron and a stack of stone (a bit less iron is fine). From there the plan is: make compressed iron, make pressure tubes, make reinforced stone, and build a Pressure Chamber.[12]

Step one: compressed iron

Everything starts with Compressed Iron Ingot. The mod adds no extra ores, so you just need plain iron ingots. Throw them on the ground, step back and set off an explosion nearby. TNT works, but any explosion does. Then pick up the compressed ingots.[12][13]

Explosion Crafting (pneumaticcraft)

  • any iron ingot

Recipe id: pneumaticcraft:explosion_crafting/compressed_iron_ingot

Watch out: The explosion costs you around 20% of your ingots. A Pressure Chamber can make compressed iron without that loss, but you need some compressed iron to build the chamber in the first place. So a little initial loss is unavoidable.[13]

Pressure Chamber (pneumaticcraft)

  • any iron ingot

Recipe id: pneumaticcraft:pressure_chamber/compressed_iron_ingot

Use this once your Pressure Chamber is running, to avoid the explosion loss.

Step two: pressure tubes

Pressure Tube is how you move compressed air around. One craft makes 8 of them. The quest book's Pressure Tube quest comes right after the Compressed Iron quest.[4][10][14]

Step three: reinforced stone and the Pressure Chamber

Next, make some Reinforced Stone, as the mod's guide says. One craft of Reinforced Bricks gives you 16 Pressure Chamber Wall, the block the chamber is built from.[12][14]

You also need Pressure Chamber Glass and Pressure Chamber Interface, and both are made from walls.[14]

The quest book asks for a full 5x5x5 chamber: 86 walls, 9 glass, 2 interfaces and a Pressure Chamber Valve. The only valve recipe the sources show for this pack is an Assembly Drill recipe that turns a Block of Compressed Iron into 20 valves.[10][14]

Assembly Drill (pneumaticcraft)

Recipe id: pneumaticcraft:assembly/pressure_chamber_valve

Step four: compressors

Compressors are the power generators of the mod, because they compress air to generate pressure. The quest book's Basic Compressors quest asks for the Air Compressor and the Liquid Compressor.[2][10]

Following the quest book

The pack's quest book has a chapter called "PneumaticCraft" in the Production group (chapter 40 of 44). It follows the same order: "Compressed Iron" quest comes first, then "Pressure Tube" quest. After the tubes, the book opens "5x5x5 Pressure Chamber" quest and "Basic Compressors" quest. The Empty PCB quest comes after the chamber quest.[10]

After that, more sections of the in-game manual unlock as you earn advancements. Check the mod's Advancements page for what to make next.[12]

How does PneumaticCraft: Repressurized work?

9 parts

As the mod currently works, everything runs on compressed air. Compressors make it, tubes move it, and machines spend it. Once you understand how pressure, volume and air relate, the rest of the mod gets much easier to plan.[2][4][15]

Pressure and air

Every pressurizable machine or tool has a volume in mL: the amount of air it holds at standard atmospheric pressure, which the mod calls 0 bar. Pressure is the air currently stored divided by the volume, minus 1. A machine with 5000 mL of volume holding 20000 mL of air sits at 3 bar. Volume Upgrades raise the volume on most machines, so each use of air drops the pressure less.[15]

As the mod currently defines it, bar is gauge pressure, meaning pressure above normal atmosphere. So 0 bar is ordinary air and -1 bar is a vacuum.[16]

As the mod currently works, air flows from higher pressure to lower pressure and tries to balance out. Hooking a small machine up to a big air store, like a Pressure Chamber, will build pressure in the small machine. Many machines need a minimum pressure to run, but what they actually use up is air, not pressure.[15]

Watch out: Tubes or machines left unconnected cause a big air leak. You can hear it as a hiss and see it as a stream of particles. Too much pressure causes an explosion. The red zone on the gauge in a machine's GUI shows the danger area, but the exact point where a machine blows is not predictable.[15]

Pressure tiers

  • At present, tier one machines nominally resist 5 bar.[16]
  • At present, tier one-point-five machines resist up to 10 bar. This optional tier gives access to charging tools to 10 bar and to the Diamond Drill Bit, which allows 3x3 block breaking.[16]
  • At present, tier two machines resist up to 20 bar.[16]

Compressed iron and the Pressure Chamber

The mod adds no extra ores. You start with Iron Ingots, throw them on the ground and cause a nearby explosion (TNT works) to turn them into Compressed Iron Ingots. You lose around 20% of the ingots this way. A Pressure Chamber makes compressed iron without that loss, but you need some compressed iron to build the chamber in the first place, so a little initial loss is unavoidable.[12][13]

The Pressure Chamber is a multiblock built from Pressure Chamber Wall and Pressure Chamber Glass. Try to keep multiblocks like it inside a single chunk.[17][18]

Storing and moving air

Pressure Tube is how you move air around, and Advanced Pressure Tube is the upgraded version. The Air Canister is a component for pressurizable items. It holds 3000 mL and can be charged to 10 bar without exploding, and items built with a canister keep the canister's air.[4][18][19]

Making air in this pack

Compressors are the power generators. Right now, this pack's config file sets the values below.[2][22]

  • Currently, this pack's config sets [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.flux_compressor_efficiency]] to 40, the air produced by using 100 FE in the flux compressor.[22]
  • Currently, this pack's config sets [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.electric_compressor_efficiency]] to 40 as well.[22]
  • Currently, this pack's config sets [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.manual_compressor_air_per_cycle]] to 1000 air per pump cycle, and [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.manual_compressor_hunger_drain_per_cycle_step]] to 0.1 hunger per cycle step.[22]
  • Currently, this pack's config sets [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.solar_compressor_multiplier]] to 1.[22]
  • The Pneumatic Dynamo turns air back into power. Currently, this pack's config sets [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.pneumatic_dynamo_efficiency]] to 40 FE per 100 mL of air.[22]
  • Currently, this pack's config makes each Speed Upgrade multiply machine speed by 1.5, compounding per upgrade, via [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.speed_upgrade_speed_multiplier]]. Fuel usage and heat generation also compound per upgrade, set by [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.speed_upgrade_usage_multiplier]].[22]

Heat

Heat spreads from hotter to colder blocks, faster when the temperature difference is bigger. Only blocks that support heat take part. Thermal resistance sets how fast heat moves between objects: Torches and Air resist a lot, Compressed Iron Blocks very little. Thermal capacity sets how much heat it takes to change a block's temperature.[23]

Exposed faces lose heat to the air, which you notice most on the Refinery. Cover every face with any non-conducting block, even a slab or trapdoor, to stop the loss. The Block of Compressed Iron conducts heat well and gives you more faces for Heat Sinks, while a Heat Pipe is a more compact and cheaper way to carry heat.[13][23][24]

A vanilla Furnace next to a dynamic heat source, such as a Vortex Tube or the Advanced Air Compressor, burns heat instead of solid fuel. This starts at 100°C and gets faster as it gets hotter. Blast Furnaces and Smokers work the same way.[24]

Currently, this pack's config sets thermal resistance to 100 for air, 500 for solid blocks and 100 for fluid blocks, and the default fluid heat capacity to 10000. See Heat.airThermalResistance, Heat.blockThermalResistance, Heat.fluidThermalResistance and Heat.defaultFluidHeatCapacity.[22]

Fluids and processing

Crude Oil is the only thing the mod generates in the world. It is mostly found deep underground, so a Seismic Sensor helps. The recommended way to pump it is a Gas Lift. Oil is refined into fuels for Liquid Compressors, and it is also needed for Plastic and Lubricant. A Small Tank keeps its contents when broken, which makes it a handy early hauler.[25]

The Thermopneumatic Processing Plant handles fluid recipes. For example, Lubricant is made from Diesel or Biodiesel plus Redstone, and Speed Upgrades need Lubricant.[26]

This pack also adds an Ender IO alloy smelting recipe that turns plastic bricks into Plastic Sheet. Right now, this pack's config sets Recipes.in_world_plastic_solidification to true, so Molten Plastic poured into the world also solidifies into sheets.[14][22]

Molten PlasticAdded by the pack

Alloy Smelting (enderio)

  • any plastic brick

Recipe id: enderio:smelting/pneumaticcraft/plastic_sheet_from_brick

Logistics and automation

The Logistics System moves items and fluids around and keeps inventories and tanks stocked. Right now, this pack's config says a Logistics Module needs a minimum pressure of 3 to work (Logistics.min_pressure). Moving costs air per distance: 1 per item per block (Logistics.item_transport_cost) and 0.02 per mB of fluid per block (Logistics.fluid_transport_cost).[7][22]

The Omnidirectional Hopper and the Liquid Hopper can place items or fluids into the world when they have a Dispenser Upgrade. Both are enabled here through [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.omni_hopper_dispenser]] and [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.liquid_hopper_dispenser]].[22]

Drones are programmed with puzzle widgets. Right now, this pack's config limits the Area widget to 250,000 blocks (General.max_programming_area), and a drone that gets stuck on a path teleports to its destination after 20 ticks (Drones.stuck_drone_teleport_ticks).[8][22]

If ComputerCraft or Open Computers is installed, you can control almost every machine as a peripheral. Every machine supports reading its pressure, its danger pressure and its critical pressure, and heat machines also report temperature.[27]

Tip: If you want machines to work while you are away, chunkload them. Keep the whole build inside chunk boundaries, either all loaded or none of it, and put Security Upgrades in the machines to prevent explosions. The Programmable Controller offers some limited chunkloading too.[17]

What this pack changes

The pack's endgame scripts give the Creative Compressor and the Creative Compressed Iron Block their own Extended Crafting table recipes. The pack also adds two Assembly Laser recipes for its own Infinity items.[28][29][30]

How do you progress through PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?

6 parts

The quest book puts PneumaticCraft in the Production group, as chapter 40 of 44, with 30 quests. Its machine quests grow out of two early ones, Compressed Iron and Pressure Tube. Several quests ask for items without any prerequisite quest, such as the Speed Upgrade, Volume Upgrade, Security Upgrade, Charging Station, Etching Tank and Amadron Tablet quests, so you can grab those whenever.[10]

Compressed iron and pressure tubes

The chain starts with "Compressed Iron" quest, which asks you to hand in Compressed Iron Ingot. Next comes "Pressure Tube" quest, which asks for Pressure Tube. Compressed iron ingots are used in many recipes throughout the mod, so it pays to get them going early.[10][13]

To make compressed iron, throw iron ingots on the ground and set off an explosion nearby. You lose around 20% of the ingots that way. A Pressure Chamber avoids the loss, but you need some compressed iron to build the chamber, so a little initial loss is unavoidable.[13]

Two more sources of compressed iron show up in the pack's data. A Mystical Agriculture essence recipe gives 6 compressed iron ingots, and the pack adds a recipe that turns one double compressed iron block into 9 blocks of compressed iron.[14]

The mod's in-game guide says it currently has three pressure tiers for pneumatic machines. Tier one machines nominally resist 5 bar, tier 1.5 machines resist up to 10 bar, and tier two machines resist up to 20 bar.[16]

After Pressure Tube, "Basic Compressors" quest asks you to hand in an Air Compressor and a Liquid Compressor. "5x5x5 Pressure Chamber" quest asks for 86 Pressure Chamber Wall, 9 Pressure Chamber Glass, 2 Pressure Chamber Interface and 1 Pressure Chamber Valve.[10]

Red Plastic Construction Brick™ also shows up in the ProjectE Philo Stone chapter, where one quest asks you to hand in 8 of them.[11]

Assembly line and tier 2

"Assembly Line" quest comes after the Finished PCB. It asks for the controller, platform, drill, laser, both IO units and the Assembly Program: Drill & Laser. The pack data lists that program as an Amadron offer for 14 emeralds.[10][14]

The Advanced Air Compressor is the tier 2 air compressor, with a maximum safe pressure of 20 bar and a base of 50 mL of air per tick. Speed Upgrades can raise that. The Advanced Liquid Compressor is the tier 2 liquid version with the same base output.[31][32]

Watch out: Advanced compressors must be cooled. Their efficiency drops as the temperature rises, until no air is generated at all.[31][32]

In the quest book, the a quest in "PneumaticCraft" quest and the a quest in "PneumaticCraft" quest both follow Advanced Compressors. The latter asks for a Heat Sink and an Air Grate Tube Module.[10]

The Infinity ladder and the creative endgame

PneumaticCraft items also appear in the pack's Infinity ladder in the EndGame chapter (Storyline group, chapter 7 of 44). In the quest book, Infinity 5 comes after a Pressure Chamber Wall quest and Infinity 7 after an Assembly Controller quest.[33]

The pack adds Assembly Laser recipes for Infinity 7, using the laser program. 3 Infinity 6 make 1 Infinity 7, or 9 Infinity 6 Block make 27.[30]

The top of the tree is two pack-added Extended Crafting table recipes. The Creative Compressed Iron Block uses a tier 4 table. The Creative Compressor quest in the EndGame chapter comes after the Creative Compressed Iron Block and The Beginning of the End. The compressor is also an ingredient in the Creative Bin recipe.[14][28][33][34]

Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use PneumaticCraft: Repressurized?

3 parts

Most of the mod's quests sit in one chapter, "PneumaticCraft", in the Production group (chapter 40 of 44 in the quest book). The quests in it mostly ask you to obtain PneumaticCraft items, one or a few at a time. A few other chapters ask for PneumaticCraft items too, and those are covered at the end.[10]

Where the chapter starts

Seven quests have nothing in front of them, so you can do them in any order: a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Speed Upgrade), "Compressed Iron" quest (Compressed Iron Ingot), a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Volume Upgrade), a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Etching Tank), a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Charging Station), a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Security Upgrade) and a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Amadron Tablet). The UV Light Box quest (a quest in "PneumaticCraft") comes after the Amadron Tablet and Charging Station quests.[10]

Order of the main line

  1. Compressed Iron leads to "Pressure Tube" quest, which asks for a Pressure Tube.[10]
  2. Pressure Tube comes before six quests: "The Refinery" quest (Refinery Controller plus 4 Refinery Output), a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Safety Tube Module), "Pressure Gauge Tube Module" quest (Pressure Gauge Tube Module), a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Regulator Tube Module), "Basic Compressors" quest (an Air Compressor and a Liquid Compressor) and "5x5x5 Pressure Chamber" quest.[10]
  3. The 5x5x5 Pressure Chamber quest asks for 86 Pressure Chamber Wall, 9 Pressure Chamber Glass, 2 Pressure Chamber Interface and 1 Pressure Chamber Valve.[10]
  4. The Refinery comes before a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Thermopneumatic Processing Plant), which comes before a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Bucket of Molten Plastic).[10]
  5. a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Etching Acid Bucket) comes after three quests: the 5x5x5 Pressure Chamber, Basic Compressors and the Bucket of Molten Plastic.[10]
  6. The PCB line starts with a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Empty PCB), which comes after the Pressure Chamber. A second Empty PCB quest, a quest in "PneumaticCraft", comes after the first one and the UV Light Box.[10]
  7. a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Unassembled PCB) comes after the Etching Acid Bucket, an Empty PCB and the Etching Tank. After it comes a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Finished PCB).[10]
  8. Finished PCB comes before a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Module Expansion Card) and "Assembly Line" quest.[10]
  9. Assembly Line asks for the Assembly Controller, Assembly Platform, Assembly Drill, Assembly Laser, both Assembly IO Unit (import) and Assembly IO Unit (export), and the Assembly Program: Drill & Laser.[10]
  10. After Assembly Line comes a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Advanced Pressure Tube), which comes before "Advanced Compressors" quest.[10]
  11. Advanced Compressors comes before the last two quests: a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Creative Compressor) and a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (a Heat Sink and an Air Grate Tube Module).[10]

Two Infinity quests hang off this line too. a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Infinity 5) comes after the Etching Acid Bucket, and a quest in "PneumaticCraft" (Infinity 7) comes after Assembly Line.[10]

PneumaticCraft in other chapters

In the EndGame chapter (Storyline group), two PneumaticCraft items are prerequisites in the Infinity chain. a quest in "EndGame" (a single Pressure Chamber Wall) comes before a quest in "EndGame" (Infinity 5), alongside Infinity 4. a quest in "EndGame" (the Assembly Controller) comes before a quest in "EndGame" (Infinity 7), alongside Infinity 6.[33]

The same chapter has a quest in "EndGame" (Creative Compressed Iron Block). After that quest and "The Beginning of the End" quest, you reach a quest in "EndGame" (the Creative Compressor). That quest is in turn one of the prerequisites of a quest in "EndGame" (Creative Bin).[33]

The "ProjectE Philo Stone" chapter (Production group) has many quests for Red Plastic Construction Brick™. One of them, a quest in "ProjectE Philo Stone", asks for 8 bricks. The others ask for 1 brick each and follow it, and they sit among the prerequisites of a quest in "ProjectE Philo Stone" (Philosopher's Stone).[11]

Finally, the "Extended Crafting" chapter (Production group) has a quest in "Extended Crafting", which asks for a Compressed Iron Ingot. It is one of the many ingot quests listed before "The one and only" quest (The Ultimate Ingot).[37]

Which PneumaticCraft: Repressurized config options matter?

5 parts

PneumaticCraft has a lot of config options, so here are the ones you're most likely to care about and exactly how this pack currently sets them in version 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2. Most of the gameplay settings live in the common config. The client config only covers HUD, GUI and sound preferences.[22][38]

Drones

Machines and pressure

  • The Electric Compressor and Flux Compressor efficiency options ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.electric_compressor_efficiency]] and [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.flux_compressor_efficiency]]) are both currently 40.[22]
  • [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.manual_compressor_air_per_cycle]] is currently 1000.[22]
  • Fake players are currently not allowed to use the manual compressor, because [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.manual_compressor_allow_fake_players]] is false.[22]
  • Each speed upgrade multiplies machine speed by 1.5, as currently set in [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.speed_upgrade_speed_multiplier]].[22]
  • A Logistics Module currently needs a minimum pressure of 3 to function (Logistics.min_pressure).[22]
  • The Pressurized Spawner currently needs a minimum pressure of 10 to run ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.pressurized_spawner_min_pressure]]).[22]
  • Security Station hacking is currently on ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.security_station_allow_hacking]]), and Creative players are not exempt from protection ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Machine Properties.security_station_creative_players_exempt]] is false).[22]

Armor, Jackhammer and weapons

  • Pneumatic Armor currently takes 200 ticks to start up, before Speed Upgrades ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Pneumatic Armor.armor_startup_time]]).[22]
  • Jet Boots currently use 12 mL of air per tick per Jet Boots Upgrade ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Pneumatic Armor.jet_boots_air_usage]]).[22]
  • The Jet Boots height limit is currently 64, relative to the world max build height ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Pneumatic Armor.jet_boots_height_limit]]).[22]
  • The Jackhammer currently uses 50 air per block broken (Jackhammer.base_air_usage).[22]
  • Vein Miner Plus currently reaches 10 blocks from the mined block (Jackhammer.max_vein_miner_range).[22]
  • The Minigun currently has a base damage of 4 ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Minigun Properties.base_damage]]) and a base range of 50 ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Minigun Properties.base_range]]). Standard ammo cartridges hold 1000 ([[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Minigun Properties.standard_ammo_cartridge_size]]).[22]
  • Explosions won't wreck your base: [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Micromissile Properties.damage_terrain]], [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Micromissile Properties.start_fires]] and [[config:config/pneumaticcraft-common.toml#Minigun Properties.explosive_ammo_terrain_damage]] are all currently false.[22]

What changed in PneumaticCraft: Repressurized between versions?

2 parts

Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships PneumaticCraft: Repressurized 6.0.23+mc1.20.1. The mod was first included in the pack in version 0.0.45.4 or earlier, so you've had it for a good while. The two most recent mod releases are both bug-fix updates.[5]

6.0.23 (the version in this pack)

  • Fixed a couple of item dupe issues with the Solar Compressor. As part of that, Solar Compressors can no longer be waterlogged or moved with pistons, even with Quark installed.[39]
  • Fixed the Refinery GUI showing the wrong number of exposed faces, because it wasn't counting the controller block.[39]
  • Fixed Pneumatic Armor entity and block trackers not clearing their tracked objects when you change dimension.[39]
  • Fixed pressure gauge rendering when Oculus is installed.[39]

6.0.22

  • Fixed a Waila crash related to semiblocks.[40]
  • Fixed a potential server crash when semiblock entities are removed from the world. The changelog says the cause isn't entirely clear and may involve other mods unloading chunks off-thread, so this change adds extra defensive checking.[40]

Unverified The pack's own changelogs have no entries for this mod, so any changes to PneumaticCraft between individual Project Infinity releases are unverified.
