Mystical Agradditions in Project Infinity 0.1

Mystical Agradditions is an add-on for Mystical Agriculture. It adds a sixth tier of essence, Insanium, plus tier 6 crops for high tier materials such as Nether Stars, Awakened Draconium and Neutronium. It also brings Paxels (a pickaxe, axe and shovel in one tool), Tinkers' Construct integration and Essence Coal, which can cook more items than regular Coal.^[1]

This pack ships version 7.0.12 of the mod. The project page's resource crop list was last updated for 7.0.2, so check in game that every crop it names is available here.^[1][2]

Where the quest book puts it

The mod has no chapter of its own. Its items are quests inside the "Mystical Agriculture" chapter, which sits in the "Resource Generation" group and is chapter 12 of 44 in the book. That chapter has 207 quests, and many of them are not covered here. Read the rest in the quest book itself.^[3]

The apple quests

Each essence tier has an apple quest hanging off its essence quest, and these apples come from this mod. These are the ones I can confirm:^[3]

The Insanium tier

The tier 6 content follows the Supremium Essence quest. "Insanium Essence" quest asks for Insanium Essence. Four quests come after it: a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" for the Insanium Gemstone, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" for the Insanium Ingot, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" for the Insanium Apple, and "Essence of Haven" quest for Creative Essence, which is tier "Creative" in the book.^[3]

After the Insanium Ingot quest comes "Growing & Speed up Growth Tier 6" quest, "Growing & Speed up Growth Tier 6". It asks for the Insanium Farmland and an Insanium watering can from the Mystical Adaptations namespace.^[3]

Mystical Agradditions adds extra content on top of Mystical Agriculture: a sixth essence tier called Insanium, Paxels, Essence Coal and more. In this pack's quest book its items show up inside the "Mystical Agriculture" chapter (group "Resource Generation", chapter 12 of 44), so you work through them as you climb the essence tiers.^[1][3]

Step 1: Inferium Essence and the quest book

Start with "Welcome to Mystical Agriculture" quest. After it comes "Inferium Essence" quest (Tier 1), which asks for 64 Inferium Essence. Many quests in the chapter come after that one, so it is your first real goal.^[3]

Step 2: Inferium Apple

The Inferium Apple is the first apple of the mod, and the book has a quest for it right after Inferium Essence (a quest in "Mystical Agriculture"). Essence Apples are a much "healthier" alternative to regular apples, with buffs and extra nutrition. In this pack each apple's effects last 180 seconds, set by General.essenceAppleDuration.^[3][4][5]

Step 3: Inferium Coal

Inferium Coal is the Inferium tier of Essence Coal, which can cook more items than regular coal. The pack changed this recipe from the mod's default, so use the one below rather than an older guide.^[1][6]

Step 4: Inferium Paxel

A Paxel works as a pickaxe, axe and shovel all in one tool. The Inferium Paxel is the entry level one, and it is crafted from Inferium tools that you make first.^[4][6]

The higher tiers get their own versions too: Prudentium, Imperium and Supremium each have an apple, a coal and a paxel recipe, made from that tier's essence or tools.^[6]

Later: Insanium and Tier 6

"Insanium Essence" quest is Tier 6 and comes after Supremium Essence in the book. Insanium Essence is the tier above Supremium and is what you use to make Tier 6 crops. After it the book offers the Insanium Gemstone, Ingot and Apple, and then "Essence of Haven", which is the Creative tier.^[3][4]

Tier 6 crops play differently from lower tiers. They need a Crux below the farmland to grow, and they never drop a second seed when harvested. The Insanium Farmland has its own quest, "Growing & Speed up Growth Tier 6" quest, which comes after the Insanium Ingot quest.^[3][4]

Some Cruxes need boss drops. The Dragon Scale is dropped by the Ender Dragon, and the pack sets it to drop 8 per kill. The Withering Soul is dropped by the Wither, with a 0.35 chance per kill in this pack. Both are set in the mod's common config file.^[4][5]

Nether and End Inferium Ore and Prosperity Ore are all set to generate in this pack.^[5]

Mystical Agradditions doesn't work like a tech mod. The sources describe it as an add-on to Mystical Agriculture, so its mechanics are about crops, the blocks that let them grow, and the items you make from them. They don't describe any machines, power or fluid handling. Here is how the pieces fit together.^[1][4]

Tier 6 crops and Insanium

Insanium Essence is an extra tier of essence above Supremium, and you use it to create Tier 6 Crops. These crops have some traits that lower tiers don't: they need a Crux below the farmland to grow, and they never drop a second seed when harvested.^[4]

The mod's resource crops are Nether Star, Dragon Egg, Gaia Spirit, Awakened Draconium, Neutronium and Powah's Nitro Crystal.^[1]

In this pack, Insanium Essence is also a Wither drop, and the pack rewrote it. A pack script removes the Wither's default Insanium Essence drop and adds it back with a 0.02 chance.^[7]

Cruxes

Cruxes are blocks you place under a Tier 6 Crop so that it can grow. This mod adds Nether Star Crux, Dragon Egg Crux, Gaia Spirit Crux, Awakened Draconium Crux and Nitro Crystal Crux, plus a Neutronium Crux.^[4]

Ore variants

Nether Prosperity and Nether Inferium ores usually spawn at all Y levels in the Nether. End Prosperity and End Inferium ores do the same in the End. The pack's config has these world generation options set to true: World.generateNetherInferiumOre, World.generateNetherProsperityOre, World.generateEndInferiumOre and World.generateEndProsperityOre.^[4][5]

In this pack, Mystical Agradditions is the top end of the Mystical Agriculture tier ladder. The quest book tells that ladder in the Mystical Agriculture chapter (group Resource Generation, chapter 12 of 44). Each essence tier is a quest that unlocks the next one, and the mod adds apples, coal, paxels and the sixth tier, Insanium, on top of it.^[3][6]

Getting Insanium Essence

The pack edits where Insanium Essence comes from. Its loot script removes the essence from the Wither's drops and adds it back with a random chance of 0.02. In the quest book it is the Tier 6 quest "Insanium Essence" quest, which comes after Supremium Essence.^[3][7]

The pack also adds Extended Crafting table recipes for Allthemodium Seeds and Awakened Draconium Seeds. Both need Insanium Essence alongside items from many other mods.^[6]

Creative Essence

Creative Essence has a recipe added by the pack, crafted in an Extended Crafting table. It combines a Draconic Evolution Chaotic Core with essences from Mystical Agriculture and Mystical Expansion. The quest book covers it in "Essence of Haven" quest (Tier: Creative), which comes after Insanium Essence.^[3][6]

Four quest chapters in the pack ask you for items from this mod. Most of them are in the Mystical Agriculture chapter, in the Resource Generation group. The other three chapters each ask for just one of the mod's items.^{[3][12][13][14]}

Mystical Agriculture chapter

This chapter works up the essence tiers one after another, and each essence quest comes after the previous tier's quest. The mod's apple quests come after those same tier quests. The order goes like this:^[3]

1. After Inferium Essence (Tier 1), the quest a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" asks you for the Inferium Apple.^[3]
2. Prudentium Essence (Tier 2) comes after that. After it, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" asks for the Prudentium Apple.^[3]
3. Tertium Essence (Tier 3) follows. After it, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" asks for the Tertium Apple.^[3]
4. Imperium Essence (Tier 4) comes next. After it, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" asks for the Imperium Apple.^[3]
5. Supremium Essence (Tier 5) comes after that. After it, a quest in "Mystical Agriculture" asks for the Supremium Apple.^[3]

After Supremium Essence you reach "Insanium Essence" quest, the Tier 6 quest, which asks for Insanium Essence. Several quests come after it. Two of them ask for the Insanium Gemstone (a quest in "Mystical Agriculture") and the Insanium Ingot (a quest in "Mystical Agriculture"). Another asks for the Insanium Apple (a quest in "Mystical Agriculture").^[3]

"Essence of Haven" quest, labelled Tier: Creative, also comes after Insanium Essence. It asks for Creative Essence.^[3]

The Insanium Ingot quest leads to "Growing & Speed up Growth Tier 6" ("Growing & Speed up Growth Tier 6" quest). It asks for an Insanium watering can and the Insanium Farmland. The watering can in that quest comes from a different namespace, so only the farmland is from this mod.^[3]

AllTheModium chapter

This chapter is in the Production group. It has its own a quest in "AllTheModium" quest, which asks for Insanium Essence. That quest is one of those listed before a quest in "AllTheModium", alongside the Bucket of Life, the Block of Fiery Metal and the Allthemodium Ingot. In this chapter, Insanium Essence is one of the things the quest line asks for on the way to Vibranium.^[12]

Extended Crafting chapter

The next chapter in the Production group is Extended Crafting. Its a quest in "Extended Crafting" quest asks for the Insanium Ingot. It is one of the many ingot quests listed before "The one and only" ("The one and only" quest), the quest for The Ultimate Ingot. The text of 29 quests in this chapter is not shown in the sources here, so check the quest book for those.^[14]

Legendary Challenges chapter

This is the end-game challenge chapter, in the Challenges group. "Creative Essence Cloud" quest asks you to hand in 1,024 Creative Essence.^[13]

Mystical Agradditions has a small config file, and these are the options you're most likely to care about. All the values below are what this pack sets in its common config.^[15]

Boss drops

• General.dragonScalesAmount is set to 8 in this pack. This is how many Dragon Scales an Ender Dragon drops when killed, and the allowed range is 0 to 64.^[15]
• General.witheringSoulChance is set to 0.35 in this pack. This is the chance that a Wither drops a Withering Soul when killed, on a scale from 0.0 to 1.0.^[15]

Crops and food

• General.fertilizableTier6Crops is false in this pack. That means tier 6 crops can't be fertilized with Mystical Fertilizer or Fertilized Essence, so plan on waiting for them to grow.^[15]
• General.essenceAppleDuration is set to 180 in this pack. This is the duration of each Essence Apple's effects, in seconds.^[15]

Ore generation

All four ore generation toggles are set to true in this pack, so both Inferium and Prosperity ore generate in the Nether and in the End.^[15]

• World.generateNetherInferiumOre and World.generateNetherProsperityOre control the Nether ores.^[15]
• World.generateEndInferiumOre and World.generateEndProsperityOre control the End ores.^[15]

Unverified The pack's config file only lists the values this pack uses, not the mod's own defaults. So I can't confirm which of these options the pack changed from the default.

There isn't much to report for Mystical Agradditions in this pack. Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships version 7.0.12 (MysticalAgradditions-1.20.1-7.0.12.jar), and it has been in the pack since Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.45.4 or earlier.^[2]

Mod changelog

• 7.0.12, for Minecraft 1.20.1: updated the es_es (Spanish) translations. That is the only change the changelog lists.^[16]

The pack changelogs have no entries for this mod, so I can't point you to any pack-specific changes to it.^[2]
