What is Powah!?
2 parts
Powah! is a tech mod about generating, storing and transmitting energy. This pack includes version 6.2.6.[1][2]
For generation, it gives you Furnator (Starter) machines that burn solid furnace fuel like coal, Magmator (Starter) machines that run on hot fluids like lava, solar panels, thermo generators, and the Reactor multiblock. The Reactor uses Uraninite as its main fuel. You build it by placing 36 reactor blocks in a 3X4 replaceable area, and it then finishes building itself.[1][3][4][5]
Beyond generators, the mod adds energy cables, energy cells, the upgradable Ender Network, Player Transmitters and the Energizing crafting system. A Player Transmitter charges items in a linked player's inventory, including armor slots and the off-hand. It works anywhere in the same dimension with a normal Binding Card, and across dimensions with a Binding Card (Dimensional).[1][6][7]
Tiers and Energizing
Most Powah! machines come in these tiers: Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro. For generators, higher tiers produce more FE/t and burn fuel faster.[3][4]
The Energizing Orb is a block used to energize items. It needs at least one Energizing Rod within a 9X9 range, and more rods or higher rod tiers make it work faster. The orb itself needs no energy, but the rods must sit on cables or another FE block to be powered.[8]
Some machines handle charging items. The Energy Discharger (Starter) line drains energy (FE) out of charged items and stores it in an internal buffer, and you can connect cables to pull that power out and reuse it. The Energy Hopper (Starter) line does the opposite and charges chargeable items inside an adjacent inventory, like a chest.[9][10]
Where it fits in this pack
Powah! has its own quest chapter in the pack's quest book. It starts with a quest in "?", which asks for Raw Uraninite. Next comes a quest in "?", which asks for Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. After that the chapter moves on to the starter-tier generators, cells, cables and other machines.[7]
a quest in "?" covers the orb, cables and rods. After it come quests for the Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Spirited Crystal and Nitro Crystal crystals, plus a quest in "?" for Energized Steel. Several Hardened-tier quests come after Energized Steel.[7]
How do you get started with Powah!?
3 parts
Welcome to Powah! in this pack. The easiest way in is to follow the Powah quest chapter, because it unlocks things in a sensible order. Here is that order, with the in-pack recipes shown.[7]
Step by step
- Get some Raw Uraninite. This is the first quest in the chapter, a quest in "?". Uraninite Ore is rare and sits underground below level 64 (poor), below 20 (normal) or below 0 (dense), in deposits of 1 to 5 blocks. You need an iron or better pickaxe, and Fortune increases the drop.[7][12]
- Make Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. The next quest, a quest in "?", asks for both, and almost everything else in the chapter unlocks after it. The paste has two recipes. The casing recipe was changed by the pack, so use the one shown below rather than the mod default.[7][13]
- Craft the capacitors: Basic Capacitor (Tiny) (a quest in "?") and Basic Capacitor (a quest in "?"). The tiny one is crafted from a basic capacitor. The Basic Capacitor recipe is also changed by the pack.[7][13]
- Pick a starter generator. Once the paste, casing and tiny capacitor are done, the Starter-tier machines open up, including Furnator (Starter), Solar Panel (Starter), Magmator (Starter) and Thermo Generator (Starter). A Furnator burns solid furnace fuel like coal, and a Solar Panel works in sunlight.[3][7][14]
- Run cables with Energy Cable (Starter) (a quest in "?"). Its recipe is changed by the pack too.[7][13]
- Set up the energizing system. The quest a quest in "?" asks for an Energizing Orb, a cable and an energizing rod, and it leads to the crystals and Energized Steel that you need for higher tiers.[7]

Getting Uraninite without mining
The pack adds extra ways to get Uraninite. You can run sand through a sieve with a Diamond Mesh or a Netherite Mesh. You can also energize any regular uraninite ore into it. Uraninite is the main fuel for the Reactor multiblock, so you will want a steady supply later.[5][13]
How energizing works
The Energizing Orb needs at least one Energizing Rod within a 9x9 range. More rods and higher rod tiers make it faster. The orb itself needs no energy, but the rods must sit on cables or another Forge Energy block.[8]
How does Powah! work?
7 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 guide
Powah! is all about Forge Energy (FE): making it, storing it and sending it where it needs to go. You get several generators plus the Reactor multiblock, the usual cables and cells, and some more unusual systems: the upgradable Ender Network, Player Transmitters that charge your gear wirelessly, and the Energizing crafting system.[1]
How tiers work
Most Powah blocks come in a ladder of tiers: Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro. Each tier has its own capacity and max I/O. For generators, higher tiers also produce more FE/t. The exact values for each tier are in the tables in the in-game guide, so check there when you plan a build.[3][16][17]
Generating power
- The Furnator burns solid furnace fuel like coal or wood. Higher tiers burn fuel faster but give the same energy per fuel tick, so you get more FE/t out of the same fuel supply.[3]
- The Magmator runs on high-temperature fluids like lava. It scales the same way: higher tiers burn faster for more FE/t, with the same energy per fuel tick.[4]
- The Solar Panel generates while exposed to sunlight, and higher tiers generate more FE/t. Any block above it that stops light also stops production.[14]
- A Lens Of Ender applied to a Solar Panel lets the panel see through blocks. You get the lens by using a Photoelectric Pane on an Enderman or Endermite.[18][19]
- The Thermo Generator has to sit on top of a high-temperature block or fluid like lava. It also needs a coolant fluid such as water to run.[20]
The Reactor multiblock
The Reactor is a multiblock FE generator that uses Uraninite as its main fuel. To build one, hold 36 Reactor blocks and place them in a 3x4 area of replaceable blocks. The reactor then finishes building itself automatically.[5]
The Reactor also has a generation mode. In this mode it stops when its buffer is full and starts again once it drops below 70% energy, so it won't burn fuel while nobody is using the power.[19]
For fuel, look for Uraninite Ore underground. It is rare and comes in 1 to 5 block deposits: poor ore below level 64, normal ore below 20 and dense ore below 0. You need an iron or better pickaxe to mine it. It drops Raw Uraninite, and Fortune increases the amount.[12]
Dry Ice is mainly used to cool down reactors. You can find it underground below level 64, or make it by energizing two pieces of blue ice.[21]
Moving and storing energy
Energy Cables such as Energy Cable (Starter) carry power between machines. To change a cable's transfer mode, right-click it with the Wrench set to Config Mode.[16]
The Wrench has 3 modes. Config Mode changes cable I/O, Link Mode links linkable blocks like the Energizing Orb and rods, and Rotate Mode turns blocks horizontally.[15]
Energy Cells are your basic FE storage blocks. The Energy Discharger drains FE out of charged items into its own buffer, and you can then pull that energy out through cables and use it again.[9][17]
The Ender Network
An Ender Cell stores energy in a specific channel of its owner's Ender Network. You can use that channel's energy from anywhere in the world, as long as the Ender Cell you transfer through has an active channel with a valid capacity.[22]
To add capacity to a channel, shift-click an Energy Cell or a battery like Battery (Starter) into the Ender Cell GUI. Any energy stored in it gets added to the channel too.[17][23]
Ender Gates move energy between an adjacent block and the Ender Network. Unlike Ender Cells, you can't upgrade the network from a gate.[24]
Charging your items
- Batteries charge your items while they sit in your inventory.[23]
- The Energy Hopper charges chargeable items inside an adjacent inventory, like a chest.[10]
- The Player Transmitter charges items in a linked player's inventory wirelessly, including armor slots and the off-hand. With a Binding Card it works anywhere in the same dimension, and with a Dimensional Binding Card it works across dimensions.[6][25][26]
- Right-click a binding card to bind it to yourself before you put it in the Player Transmitter. To make the dimensional version, use a Binding Card on an Enderman or Endermite.[19][25][26]
- The Player Transmitter is crafted with a Player Aerial Pearl. You get one by using an Aerial Pearl on a Zombie or Husk.[19][27]

Energizing
Energizing is Powah's crafting system, and it's done with the Energizing Orb. The orb itself needs no power, but it needs at least one Energizing Rod within a 9x9 range. The rods must be placed on cables or on any FE block. Crafting speed depends on how many rods you use and on their tier, since the tier sets their I/O rate.[8]
To connect the orb and rods, use the Wrench's Link Mode. One fun item from energizing is the Charged Snowball: energize a snowball, then throw it to call down a lightning bolt where it hits the ground or a mob.[15][28]

How do you progress through Powah!?
4 parts
Powah! machines come in tiers: Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro, in that order. Almost every machine family follows the same ladder, and the pack's Powah quest chapter walks you up it one family at a time.[7][8]
Getting started: the early quest line
The chapter opens with a quest for Raw Uraninite, so the pack wants you to find that early. Everything else hangs off the next step.[7]
- Hand in Raw Uraninite for a quest in "?".[7]
- Make Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing for a quest in "?". This one quest gates almost the whole chapter.[7]
- Craft the capacitors: Basic Capacitor (Tiny) for a quest in "?" and Basic Capacitor for a quest in "?".[7]
- Build the Starter machines. Once the tiny capacitor and the dielectric quests are done, you can pick up the Starter versions of the Magmator, Reactor, Energizing Rod, Energy Discharger, Furnator, Thermo Generator, Energy Hopper, Battery, Player Transmitter, Solar Panel, Energy Cell and Energy Cable, each with its own quest. For example, a quest in "?" asks for Magmator (Starter).[7]
- Make an Energizing Orb for a quest in "?". That quest also wants a cable and an Energizing Rod, and it opens the crystal and energized steel quests below.[7]

Uraninite
Uraninite is the Reactor's main fuel, and the pack adds its own recipes for it. There are two sieve routes using sand, and an energizing route that starts from uraninite ore. The Basic Power chapter also has a quest asking for it: a quest in "?".[5][13][30]

Climbing the tiers
Each tier's quests follow the previous tier's, and a few key items act as gates.[7]
- Basic: most Basic quests need the Basic Capacitor quest, a quest in "?", plus the Starter version of the same machine.[7]
- Hardened: the Hardened quests mostly list the Energized Steel quest, a quest in "?", as a prerequisite. That quest comes after the Energizing Orb quest.[7]
- Blazing: the Blazing quests list the Blazing Crystal quest, a quest in "?".[7]
- Niotic and Spirited: these follow the previous tier's quest. A few of them also list the crystal quest for their tier, namely a quest in "?" for Niotic Crystal and a quest in "?" for Spirited Crystal.[7]
- Nitro: the Nitro quests list the Nitro Crystal quest, a quest in "?", on top of the Spirited quest before them.[7]
Upgrades build on the previous tier. A Basic battery comes from the Starter battery, a Hardened one from the Basic, and so on up to Nitro. Cables and Energizing Rods work the same way, and cables also have an alternative recipe at each tier. Here is the first Battery upgrade as an example:[13]

What each family does
- Furnator (Starter) line: generates FE from solid furnace fuel like coal or wood. Higher tiers generate more FE/t and burn fuel faster, with the same energy gained per fuel tick.[3]
- Magmator (Starter) line: generates FE from hot fluids like lava, with the same higher-tier behavior as the Furnator.[4]
- Reactor (Starter) line: a multi-block generator fueled by uraninite. You hold 36 Reactor blocks and place them in a 3X4 replaceable area, and it finishes building itself.[5]
- Energizing Orb and Energizing Rods: the orb needs at least one rod within 9X9 to work, and its speed depends on how many rods you have and their tier. The orb needs no energy, but the rods must sit on cables or another FE block.[8]
- Energy Hopper (Starter) line: charges chargeable items inside an adjacent inventory, like a chest.[10]
- Energy Discharger (Starter) line: drains FE out of charged items into an internal buffer, which cables can then pull from.[9]
- Player Transmitter (Starter) line: charges items in a linked player's inventory, including armor and off-hand slots. A normal Binding Card works within the same dimension, and a Binding Card (Dimensional) works across dimensions.[6]

How does Powah! work with other mods?
5 parts
Powah! doesn't live in a bubble in this pack. Several of its materials show up in other mods' recipes, and the pack has added or changed a bunch of them. Here is every connection I can confirm from the in-pack recipes.[13]
Compressed blocks
The pack links Powah's storage blocks to compressed versions. You can compress the blocks of Uraninite, Energized Steel, Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Spirited Crystal and Nitro Crystal into their 1x versions, for example Block Of Uraninite 1x and Block Of Nitro Crystal 1x. Each one also has a shapeless decompress recipe that gives the original Powah block back. The pack changed all of these recipes.[13]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: allthecompressed:compress/niotic_crystal_block_1x
The other Powah blocks follow the same compress pattern.
Energizing with a Blaze Rod Block
The pack changed an energizing recipe so that an Blaze Rod Block turns into a Block Of Blazing Crystal. This uses Powah's own energizing system, so you still need the orb and rods set up.[13]
Energizing (powah)
Recipe id: allthecompressed:energizing/blazing_crystal_block/x0
Productive Bees
Productive Bees has a Powah set of bees. The pack changed their recipes. Each one is an energizing recipe that takes a Powah crystal or steel block plus a configurable bee, and gives back the bee along with a spawn egg. Blocks of Blazing Crystal, Energized Steel, Niotic Crystal, Nitro Crystal and Spirited Crystal each have one.[13]

The centrifuge recipes under the Powah group also give you materials back. They output Blazing Crystal, Energized Steel, Niotic Crystal, Nitro Crystal, Spirited Crystal or Raw Uraninite, each together with Wax. The pack changed these too.[13]
Getting Uraninite without mining
The pack added two Ex Deorum sieve recipes that give you Uraninite. You sift Sand with either a Diamond Mesh or a Netherite Mesh.[13]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/diamond_mesh/sand/uraninite
Modern Industrialization also gets involved. The pack changed the steel quarry recipe, and Uraninite Ore is among the ores it can produce.[13]
If you want to go further, the pack added an Extended Crafting ender crafter recipe that combines Budding Uranium GeOre with Uraninite to make Budding Uraninite GeOre.[13]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Powah!?
5 parts
Powah! has its own quest chapter in the pack, and it is a long one. Almost every quest is a simple "get this item" task, and the quests have no titles in the pack files, so the refs below show up as plain quest IDs. The chapter walks you through the machine tiers one at a time.[7]
Getting started
- a quest in "?" opens the chapter and asks for Raw Uraninite.[7]
- a quest in "?" comes next and asks for both Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. Nearly everything else in the chapter hangs off this quest.[7]
- a quest in "?" asks for the Basic Capacitor (Tiny), and a quest in "?" asks for the Basic Capacitor. Both unlock after the dielectric quest.[7]
- a quest in "?" asks for an Energizing Orb, a basic or starter energy cable, and a starter or basic energizing rod. It follows the dielectric quest.[7]
Starter tier
Once you have the dielectric quest and the tiny capacitor quest done, the starter machines open up. Each one is its own quest: a quest in "?" for the Magmator (Starter), a quest in "?" for the Reactor (Starter), a quest in "?" for the Furnator (Starter), a quest in "?" for the Thermo Generator (Starter) and a quest in "?" for the Solar Panel (Starter).[7]
The rest of the starter set is the same idea: a quest in "?" (energizing rod), a quest in "?" (energy discharger), a quest in "?" (energy hopper), a quest in "?" (battery), a quest in "?" (energy cell) and a quest in "?" (energy cable). a quest in "?" asks for the Player Transmitter (Starter) plus a Binding Card or Binding Card (Dimensional).[7]
Crystals and Energized Steel
The energizing orb quest unlocks the crystal quests and the steel quest. These ask for Blazing Crystal (a quest in "?"), Niotic Crystal (a quest in "?"), Spirited Crystal (a quest in "?") and Nitro Crystal (a quest in "?"). a quest in "?" asks for Energized Steel.[7]
Climbing the tiers
After the starter tier, each machine has a chain of quests that runs through the tiers in this order: basic, hardened, blazing, niotic, spirited, nitro. Each step requires the previous tier's quest for that machine, plus a gate quest from earlier in the chapter.[7]
- Basic tier: also needs the basic capacitor quest, a quest in "?".[7]
- Hardened tier: also needs the Energized Steel quest, a quest in "?".[7]
- Blazing tier: also needs the Blazing Crystal quest, a quest in "?".[7]
- Niotic and spirited tiers: mostly just follow the previous tier. A few list the matching crystal quest directly, such as the niotic energizing rod and energy cable.[7]
- Nitro tier: also needs the Nitro Crystal quest, a quest in "?".[7]
The Magmator chain shows the pattern: a quest in "?", then a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?" and finally a quest in "?". The Energy Cell chain goes a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?", a quest in "?".[7]
Basic Power chapter
Powah! also shows up in the "basic_power" chapter, where a quest in "?" asks for Uraninite. It unlocks after another quest in that chapter, which is not part of this mod's quests.[30]
Which Powah! config options matter?
Same as in the All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4 guide
Powah! runs on Cloth Config, so it has a config system that packs can tweak. For the in-game side of things, like how the generators, cables, cells and Energizing work, the mod's built-in Manual is the best place to look.[1]
Unverified This pack's Powah! config files weren't available, so this section can't confirm which options the pack changes or what values it uses. That includes generation rates, cable and cell capacities, and Reactor settings. Treat any numbers you see elsewhere as mod defaults that may not match this pack until they're confirmed.
What changed in Powah! between versions?
All the Mods 10: To the Sky 1.0.2 ships with Powah! 6.2.6, and the mod has been in the pack since version 1.0 or earlier.[2]
The one change I can confirm from the mod's own changelog is in 6.2.6: GuideME became a required dependency of Powah!. So if you ever run the mod outside the pack, you'll need GuideME installed alongside it.[31]
The pack changelogs have no entries for Powah!, so I can't tell you about any pack-specific changes to the mod across releases.[2]
