What is Powah!?
2 parts
Powah! is a tech mod all about generating, storing and transmitting energy (FE). If your base needs power, this mod has you covered, from basic early-game generators all the way up to multiblock Reactors. This pack runs Powah! version 6.2.10.[1][2][3]
For generating power, you get Furnators that burn solid fuel like coal and wood, Magmators that run on Lava, Solar Panels, Thermo Generators, and the Reactor multiblock that burns Uraninite. Beyond generators, Powah! also gives you Energy Cables and Energy Cells, the upgradable Ender Network, Player Transmitters that charge your items wirelessly, and its own Energizing crafting system.[1][4][5][6]
Where it fits in your progression
- The quest chapter starts by asking you to grab some Uraninite.[3]
- Next you make Dielectric Paste and then Dielectric Casing, which almost every machine in the mod requires.[3]
- Early on, you can get by with Starter and Basic tier machines made using Iron.[3]
- To climb higher, you build an Energizing Orb with Energizing Rods on powered Energy Cables. It energizes items into better materials like Energized Steel, Blazing Crystal and Nitro Crystal, which unlock the higher tiers.[3]
The ATM Star path
The ATM Star path runs through this pack's Powah chapter. It covers the opening quests, the Energizing Orb, the tier materials, and the Battery and Player Transmitter lines as they climb through the tiers.[3]
How do you get started with Powah!?
5 parts
Powah is a tech mod all about generating, storing and moving power, and the questline walks you through it tier by tier. Here's the order to tackle things so you get from zero to a running Energizing Orb without getting stuck.[3]
Step 1: Get some Uraninite
The very first quest, "Welcome to Powah!!!" quest, just asks you to grab some Uraninite. This pack adds its own ways to get it: sieving sand with a Diamond Mesh or Netherite Mesh, energizing regular Uraninite ore, or smelting or blasting uraninite dust.[3][8]

Step 2: Dielectric materials
Next up is "Starting with Dielectric Mats" quest. Almost every machine in Powah needs a Dielectric Casing, so this is your real foundation. Make Dielectric Paste first, plus some Dielectric Rods. This pack changed both Paste recipes and the Casing recipe, so check the versions below rather than what you remember from other packs.[3][8]

Step 3: Your first capacitors
Two small quests come next. "Tier: Basic" quest wants a Basic Capacitor, and "Tier: Tiny" quest wants a Basic Capacitor (Tiny), which you craft from a Basic Capacitor. The pack changed the Basic Capacitor recipe. Finishing the Dielectric quest plus Tier: Tiny unlocks all the Starter machine quests.[3][8]

Step 4: Your first power
Now pick a Starter generator that fits your base:[3]
- The Furnator (Starter) burns solid fuel like coal and wood.[3][4]
- The Magmator (Starter) generates power when you feed it lava.[3][5]
- The Thermo Generator (Starter) is one of the best passive options. Place it over a heat source and give it a steady supply of water. A magma block gives the least, a lava source block is a bit better, and a Block Of Blazing Crystal gives the most.[3][9]
- The Solar Panel (Starter) needs direct access to the sun.[3][10]
To move that power around, craft some Energy Cable (Starter). The pack changed this recipe too.[3][8]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: powah:crafting/cable_starter
Step 5: The Energizing Orb
Early on, you can build Starter and Basic machines with iron. To go further you need energized materials, and that's what the Energizing Orb is for. "The Energizing Orb" quest asks for the Orb, a Starter or Basic cable, and a Starter or Basic Energizing Rod.[3]
The Orb itself doesn't need power. Instead, it uses Energizing Rods within a 9x9 area around it, and those rods have to sit on cables or another energy block that is supplied with power.[3][11]
To energize faster, add more rods, upgrade to higher-tier rods, or both. To check that a rod is connected, set your Wrench to link mode and link the rod to the Orb.[3][11][12]
Once the Orb quest is done, the Energized, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro tier quests open up. "Tier: Energized" quest and its Energized Steel is the natural next goal.[3]

How does Powah! work?
7 parts
Powah! is all about Forge Energy (FE): making it, storing it and sending it where it needs to go. You get several generators plus the Reactor multiblock, the usual cables and cells, and some more unusual systems: the upgradable Ender Network, Player Transmitters that charge your gear wirelessly, and the Energizing crafting system.[1]
How tiers work
Most Powah blocks come in a ladder of tiers: Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro. Each tier has its own capacity and max I/O. For generators, higher tiers also produce more FE/t. The exact values for each tier are in the tables in the in-game guide, so check there when you plan a build.[4][13][14]
Generating power
- The Furnator burns solid furnace fuel like coal or wood. Higher tiers burn fuel faster but give the same energy per fuel tick, so you get more FE/t out of the same fuel supply.[4]
- The Magmator runs on high-temperature fluids like lava. It scales the same way: higher tiers burn faster for more FE/t, with the same energy per fuel tick.[5]
- The Solar Panel generates while exposed to sunlight, and higher tiers generate more FE/t. Any block above it that stops light also stops production.[10]
- A Lens Of Ender applied to a Solar Panel lets the panel see through blocks. You get the lens by using a Photoelectric Pane on an Enderman or Endermite.[15][16]
- The Thermo Generator has to sit on top of a high-temperature block or fluid like lava. It also needs a coolant fluid such as water to run.[9]
The Reactor multiblock
The Reactor is a multiblock FE generator that uses Uraninite as its main fuel. To build one, hold 36 Reactor blocks and place them in a 3x4 area of replaceable blocks. The reactor then finishes building itself automatically.[6]
The Reactor also has a generation mode. In this mode it stops when its buffer is full and starts again once it drops below 70% energy, so it won't burn fuel while nobody is using the power.[16]
For fuel, look for Uraninite Ore underground. It is rare and comes in 1 to 5 block deposits: poor ore below level 64, normal ore below 20 and dense ore below 0. You need an iron or better pickaxe to mine it. It drops Raw Uraninite, and Fortune increases the amount.[17]
Dry Ice is mainly used to cool down reactors. You can find it underground below level 64, or make it by energizing two pieces of blue ice.[18]
Moving and storing energy
Energy Cables such as Energy Cable (Starter) carry power between machines. To change a cable's transfer mode, right-click it with the Wrench set to Config Mode.[13]
The Wrench has 3 modes. Config Mode changes cable I/O, Link Mode links linkable blocks like the Energizing Orb and rods, and Rotate Mode turns blocks horizontally.[12]
Energy Cells are your basic FE storage blocks. The Energy Discharger drains FE out of charged items into its own buffer, and you can then pull that energy out through cables and use it again.[14][19]
The Ender Network
An Ender Cell stores energy in a specific channel of its owner's Ender Network. You can use that channel's energy from anywhere in the world, as long as the Ender Cell you transfer through has an active channel with a valid capacity.[20]
To add capacity to a channel, shift-click an Energy Cell or a battery like Battery (Starter) into the Ender Cell GUI. Any energy stored in it gets added to the channel too.[14][21]
Ender Gates move energy between an adjacent block and the Ender Network. Unlike Ender Cells, you can't upgrade the network from a gate.[22]
Charging your items
- Batteries charge your items while they sit in your inventory.[21]
- The Energy Hopper charges chargeable items inside an adjacent inventory, like a chest.[23]
- The Player Transmitter charges items in a linked player's inventory wirelessly, including armor slots and the off-hand. With a Binding Card it works anywhere in the same dimension, and with a Dimensional Binding Card it works across dimensions.[24][25][26]
- Right-click a binding card to bind it to yourself before you put it in the Player Transmitter. To make the dimensional version, use a Binding Card on an Enderman or Endermite.[16][25][26]
- The Player Transmitter is crafted with a Player Aerial Pearl. You get one by using an Aerial Pearl on a Zombie or Husk.[16][27]

Energizing
Energizing is Powah's crafting system, and it's done with the Energizing Orb. The orb itself needs no power, but it needs at least one Energizing Rod within a 9x9 range. The rods must be placed on cables or on any FE block. Crafting speed depends on how many rods you use and on their tier, since the tier sets their I/O rate.[11]
To connect the orb and rods, use the Wrench's Link Mode. One fun item from energizing is the Charged Snowball: energize a snowball, then throw it to call down a lightning bolt where it hits the ground or a mob.[12][28]

How do you progress through Powah!?
4 parts
Powah is a tech mod for generating, storing and transmitting power, all the way up to Reactors that produce 250k FE/t. In this pack, the mod has its own quest chapter that walks you through every tier. The Basic Power chapter also points you there once you pick up your first Uraninite in "More Powah!" quest.[3][29]
Getting started
- Grab some Uraninite to complete "Welcome to Powah!!!" quest. This opens up the whole chapter.[3]
- Make Dielectric Paste and a Dielectric Casing for "Starting with Dielectric Mats" quest. Almost every machine in the mod needs a casing, and you'll need some rods along the way too.[3]
- Craft a Basic Capacitor (Tiny) for "Tier: Tiny" quest and a Basic Capacitor for "Tier: Basic" quest. The Tiny capacitor is crafted from a Basic Capacitor.[3][8]
- Once you've finished Dielectric Mats and Tier: Tiny, all the Starter machines unlock: generators, cables, batteries, cells, hoppers, dischargers, transmitters, rods and the Reactor (Starter).[3]
Dielectric Paste has two recipes in this pack, and both are changed from the mod's defaults. One recipe gives you 24 paste and the other gives you 16. Don't let those numbers fool you, though: the quests warn that you'll need an enormous amount of paste over the course of the mod.[8][30]

The Energizing Orb
You can get through the Starter and Basic tiers using iron. Everything beyond that needs energized materials from the Energizing Orb, which is quest "The Energizing Orb" quest. The orb energizes items using Energizing Rods within a 9x9 area around it. The orb itself doesn't need power, but the rods must sit on energy cables or another FE block that's being supplied with energy.[3][11]
Tier breakdown
Every tier quest after Basic unlocks from The Energizing Orb, and each one asks for that tier's energized material. Machine quests then chain upward: each upgrade needs the previous tier's version of the same machine. For example, the Reactor quests go from Starter to Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and finally Nitro.[3]
- Starter and Basic: unlocked by "Tier: Tiny" quest and "Tier: Basic" quest, using iron-based parts.[3]
- Hardened: unlocked by "Tier: Energized" quest, which needs Energized Steel. Heads up: the tier quest is called Energized, but the machines are named Hardened.[3]
- Blazing: unlocked by "Tier: Blazing" quest with Blazing Crystal.[3]
- Niotic: unlocked by "Tier: Niotic" quest with Niotic Crystal.[3]
- Spirited: unlocked by "Tier: Spirited" quest with Spirited Crystal.[3]
- Nitro: unlocked by "Tier: Nitro" quest with Nitro Crystal. This is the top tier, ending in "Reactor (Nitro)" quest.[3]
The pack adds energizing recipes that produce whole storage blocks of the tier materials at once. These cover the Block of Energized Steel, Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal and Spirited Crystal. A Block of Blazing Crystal crafts back into loose crystals.[8]

Some upgrades work differently from others, so it's worth planning ahead. Every battery recipe in this pack is changed and needs the previous tier's battery, so you can't skip steps there. Cables above Basic give you a choice: upgrade the previous tier's cable, or craft one directly with that tier's material. Ender Cells from Hardened upward can be crafted directly from the tier material without an older cell.[8]

Endgame
Powah's top tier feeds right into the pack's final goals. The ATM Star chapter asks for Battery (Nitro) batteries, and they must be fully charged. Later, the Creative Items chapter asks for an Energy Cell (Creative), which the pack lets you make by energizing an ATM Star with a Nitro Energy Cell.[8][32][33]

How does Powah! work with other mods?
4 parts
Powah! is tied into a lot of other mods in this pack. Most of these connections are recipes the pack added or changed. You can get Uraninite from several side routes, Productive Bees can farm Powah's crystals, and a few endgame items from other mods need top-tier Powah gear.[8]
Extra ways to get Uraninite
The pack adds Ex Deorum sieve recipes that give Uraninite, so skyblock-style sifting can feed your Powah setup. You need one of the higher-tier meshes, shown in the recipes below.[8]

Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/netherite_mesh/sand/powah/uraninite
The pack also adds smelting and blasting recipes that turn another mod's uraninite dust into Powah's Uraninite.[8]
If you run Modern Industrialization, the pack changed the steel quarry so Uraninite Ore is one of its possible outputs, alongside a mix of other ores.[8]
Quarry (modern_industrialization)

Productive Bees
Bees are a great way to automate Powah materials. In the pack's centrifuge recipes, the Powah honeycombs give Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Nitro Crystal, Spirited Crystal, Energized Steel or Raw Uraninite, plus Wax.[8]
The crystal and Energized Steel bees are made with Powah's own Energizing system. You energize a configurable bee together with the matching Powah block, so you'll need a working Energizing Orb setup first.[8]

The Productive Bees quest chapter also has a "Uraninite Bee" quest quest to track your uraninite bee.[31]
All The Compressed
Each Powah storage block has a compressed version, from Block Of Blazing Crystal 1x to Block Of Uraninite 1x. You can uncraft each one back into the original Powah block.[8]
The pack also changed an Energizing recipe so a Blaze Rod Block becomes a Block Of Blazing Crystal. That block is handy because it's the best heat source to put under a Thermo Generator.[3][8]

Endgame crafts
- The pack adds an Energizing recipe for the Energy Cell (Creative) that uses an ATM Star and a Nitro Energy Cell.[8]
- The pack's creative Iron Jetpacks parts use Nitro-tier Powah items: the capacitor needs a Nitro Reactor, the energy cell needs a Nitro Battery, and the thruster needs a Nitro Crystal block.[8]
- The Nexium Emitter needs a Player Transmitter (Nitro), together with parts from several other tech mods.[8]
- The Black Ember Sapling is made in the Ender Crafter and uses Blazing Crystal.[8]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use Powah!?
3 parts
Powah! has its own quest chapter in this pack, and the Powah chapter is where most of your progression lives. It opens with "Welcome to Powah!!!" quest, which only asks you to grab some Uraninite. The quest text promises everything from basic FE generation up to Reactors that produce 250k FE/t.[3]
The Powah chapter: getting started
- "Welcome to Powah!!!" quest asks for Uraninite.[3]
- "Starting with Dielectric Mats" quest asks for Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. Almost every machine in the mod needs a Dielectric Casing.[3]
- "Tier: Tiny" quest asks for Basic Capacitor (Tiny), and "Tier: Basic" quest asks for Basic Capacitor.[3]
- "The Energizing Orb" quest asks for Energizing Orb, a Starter or Basic Energy Cable, and a Starter or Basic Energizing Rod. The orb energizes items using nearby rods within a 9x9 area, and those rods need to be attached to powered cables.[3]
Once you finish Starting with Dielectric Mats and Tier: Tiny, a whole row of Starter-tier quests opens up. You get generators like Furnator (Starter), Magmator (Starter), Thermo Generator (Starter) and Solar Panel (Starter). You also get utility blocks: Energy Cable (Starter), Energy Cell (Starter), Battery (Starter), Energy Hopper (Starter), Energy Discharger (Starter) and Energizing Rod (Starter). One quest asks for Player Transmitter (Starter) together with either Binding Card or Binding Card (Dimensional).[3]
"Reactor (Starter)" quest explains the Reactor. It is a 3x4x3 multiblock made from 36 Reactor Blocks. If you place one while holding all 36, the reactor builds itself, so clear some room first. The quest recommends cooling it with coolant. Solid coolant also needs some liquid coolant, and 1 Water Bucket will do. You can boost output by keeping the fuel buffer full and adding Coal and Redstone, or blocks of either.[3]
Climbing the tiers
The Energizing Orb quest unlocks five tier quests. "Tier: Energized" quest asks for Energized Steel. "Tier: Blazing" quest asks for Blazing Crystal, "Tier: Niotic" quest for Niotic Crystal, "Tier: Spirited" quest for Spirited Crystal, and "Tier: Nitro" quest for Nitro Crystal.[3]
Every machine then has its own upgrade line: Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited, Nitro. Each quest follows the previous tier of the same machine, and some also require the matching tier quest. The Reactor line runs from "Reactor (Starter)" quest through "Reactor (Basic)" quest, "Reactor (Hardened)" quest, "Reactor (Blazing)" quest, "Reactor (Niotic)" quest and "Reactor (Spirited)" quest, ending at "Reactor (Nitro)" quest.[3]
The wireless Ender Network has its own branch. Ender Gate (Starter) follows the Starter cable quest, and each higher Ender Gate follows the matching cable quest. Ender Cell (Starter) follows the Starter Energy Cell and Battery quests. You add capacity to an Ender Cell by putting a Battery or an Energy Cell inside it.[3]
Powah in other chapters
- Chapter 2: The Cool Parts: "Dielectric Paste" quest asks for Dielectric Paste and notes it has two recipes, giving 24 or 16 paste. It leads into "Powah" quest, which asks for Basic Capacitor.[30]
- Basic Power: "More Powah!" quest asks for Uraninite and points you to the Powah chapter.[29]
- Productive Bees: "Uraninite Bee" quest needs Block Of Uraninite. The Energized Steel, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro bees need their matching blocks and are listed as made with an Energizer. The bee quests are "Energized Steel Bee" quest, "Blazing Crystal Bee" quest, "Niotic Crystal Bee" quest, "Spirited Crystal Bee" quest and "Nitro Crystal Bee" quest.[31]
- Chapter 4: The ATM Star: one quest asks for Battery (Nitro), and the batteries must be fully charged. It follows the Nitro Battery quest in the Powah chapter.[32]
- Chapter 5: Creative Items: one quest asks for Energy Cell (Creative) and comes after Beginning Of The End.[33]
Which Powah! config options matter?
Powah! runs on Cloth Config, so it has a config system that packs can tweak. For the in-game side of things, like how the generators, cables, cells and Energizing work, the mod's built-in Manual is the best place to look.[1]
Unverified This pack's Powah! config files weren't available, so this section can't confirm which options the pack changes or what values it uses. That includes generation rates, cable and cell capacities, and Reactor settings. Treat any numbers you see elsewhere as mod defaults that may not match this pack until they're confirmed.
What changed in Powah! between versions?
In All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.0.4, you're running Powah! version 6.2.10, shipped as the file Powah-6.2.10.jar. The mod was first added to the pack in version 2.0.4 or earlier, so it's been part of your energy setup since at least this release.[2]
Unverified There are no pack changelog entries or stored mod changelogs for Powah! available right now, so this guide can't yet list which versions updated the mod or what changed between them. If you notice a difference from an older version of the pack, check the in-game recipes and tooltips for the current behavior. This site does hold All the Mods 10: To the Sky's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
