What is IntegratedDynamics?
1 part
Integrated Dynamics (ID) is a logistics mod for storage and for moving items, power and fluids. This pack ships version 1.36.0. The quest book gives you a guidebook as a reward for the first quest, which is worth reading if you want to go deeper than the basics.[1][2]
It is for you if you want a tidy, low-lag way to move and manage items. The quests call it the least laggy pipe solution and recommend it for that reason. Logic Cables skip the hopper-style hand-off that other cables use. They simply connect Importers and Interfaces.[2][3]
How you get started in this pack
The mod has its own quest chapter, and it opens with growing Menril. Everything else in the mod builds on that.[2]
- Get a Menril Sapling by sieving Moss with an Iron+ Mesh. The tree needs a 3x3 area of dirt to grow. This is the first quest, "Integrated Dynamics" quest.[2]
- Put Menril Logs in a Squeezer and jump on it to get Menril Resin. A Redstone signal empties it.[2]
- Place a Drying Basin next to the Squeezer. It picks up the resin and turns it into a Block of Crystallized Menril after 7.5 seconds.[2]
- Craft those blocks into Crystallized Menril Chunk. The quest book calls these the main crafting ingredient of ID.[2]
After the chunks, the quests branch out. You build networks with Logic Cable and configure them with Variable Card. You can also store FE in an Energy Battery and power the Mechanical Squeezer and Mechanical Drying Basin. The Generator generates FE from burnable fuels like Coal. The advanced end of the chapter is the Logic Programmer, which sets variable values for things like item and fluid filtering.[2]
How do you get started with IntegratedDynamics?
6 parts
Integrated Dynamics is a logistics mod for storage and for moving items, power and fluids. Its main crafting ingredient is the Crystallized Menril Chunk, so your first goal is a steady supply of them. Here is the order the pack's quests walk you through.[2]
First: get a Menril Sapling
The first quest, "Integrated Dynamics" quest, starts you on growing Menril. You get a Menril Sapling by sieving Moss with an Iron+ Mesh. The pack adds sieve recipes for the iron, golden, diamond and netherite meshes. The tree also needs a 3x3 area of dirt to grow.[2][4]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/iron_mesh/moss_block/integrateddynamics/menril_sapling
The iron mesh version of the sieve recipe the pack adds for Menril Saplings.
Second: build a Squeezer
Place Menril Logs in a Squeezer and jump on it to turn them into Menril Resin. You can empty the Squeezer by giving it a Redstone signal.[2]
Third: dry the resin
The resin goes out to 2 sides of the Squeezer. Put a Drying Basin next to the Squeezer and it will pick the resin up. After 7.5 seconds the resin turns into a Block of Crystallized Menril.[2]

Fourth: turn blocks into chunks
Blocks of Crystallized Menril can be crafted into Crystallized Menril Chunk. These chunks are the main crafting ingredient of the mod.[2]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integrateddynamics:crafting/crystalized_menril_chunk
The pack has also changed some other ways to get Menril products from resin. A Productive Bees centrifuge recipe turns Menril Resin into a chunk plus Wax, and Productive Metalworks casting recipes turn it into a chunk (with a Nugget Cast) or a full block.[4]
Fifth: wrench, cables and variable cards
The Wrench rotates or destroys certain blocks. Shift right-click in the air to change modes.[2]

Next come Logic Cables ("Logic Cables" quest). Other cables act like hoppers, moving items from one inventory into the cable and then into a second inventory. Logic Cables skip the middle step, which also skips a lot of lag. They are just for connecting Importers and Interfaces.[2]

Variable Card cards are needed to start interactions such as importing items. Put one in a slot of the Importer and edit it with the + button. If you just want to move items, put it in and maybe change the Limit for how much is moved.[2][3]

Sixth: power
The Energy Battery stores FE, and you need Energy Interfaces to transfer it. Batteries can be combined in a crafting grid to increase the overall storage. The Generator generates FE from burnable fuels like Coal.[2][6]

How does IntegratedDynamics work?
6 parts
The sources for this pack describe IntegratedDynamics mainly through its advancement texts and read-out descriptions, so this section follows those. They show a network of cables, readers that read values from the world, variable cards that hold them, and displays and writers that show or act on them.[7]
Logic networks
One advancement asks you to build a logic network with at least 10 connected Logic Cables, so that is a good first target for Logic Cable.[7]
Crafting Shaped
| any redstone dust | ||
Recipe id: integrateddynamics:crafting/cable
One craft gives you 3 Logic Cables.
Values travel through the network as variables. You craft a Variable Card and define it, for example as a constant Integer. A Display Panel can show a variable, a Materializer can materialize one, and a Proxy can hold a proxy variable. Variable Input and Output Transformers are also crafted items.[7]
The Logic Programmer is where you build more complex logic. Opening its GUI is an advancement, and one advancement has you create a recipe visually in it. Operators can also be invoked dynamically, and lists can be static, filtered or infinite.[7]
Reading the world
Readers are how you get data into the network. The advancements mention a Block Reader, Inventory Reader, Machine Reader, Redstone Reader and Entity Reader. A Block Reader can read the NBT tag of a machine such as a Lectern. A Machine Reader can read the list of recipes from a machine such as the Crafting Table.[7]
Each reader exposes aspects, which are values you can turn into variables. The language file describes many of them. These are the groups most useful for automation:[7]
- Inventory: the descriptions cover whether the target has an inventory, and whether it is empty, non-empty or full. A fill ratio is described as the number of non-empty slots divided by the total number of slots.[7]
- Fluid: the descriptions cover whether the target has a fluid tank, and whether it is empty, non-empty or full. The fluid fill ratio is described as the amount of fluid in the active tank divided by its capacity.[7]
- FE: whether the target handles FE, can provide or receive it, and can have FE extracted or inserted. There are also empty, non-empty and full checks, and a fill ratio of the FE in the target divided by its capacity.[7]
- Machine: whether the target is a worker machine, is currently working, has work to process, or would be able to start working in its current state.[7]
- Redstone: the descriptions list high, low and non-low checks, plus a clock aspect described as pulses with a configurable length and interval.[7]
- Temperature: the descriptions list the current, default, minimum and maximum temperature of the target, each given in Kelvin.[7]
- World: day, night, weather, and whether the target space has a player, mob, animal, entity or item. Ticks per second can be read for one world or averaged over all worlds.[7]
Acting on what you read
A Redstone Writer is the output side. One advancement asks you to let it write the maximal integer redstone level that a Redstone Reader read. Another asks you to open a door automatically by matching an entity name, using an Entity Reader and a Redstone Writer.[7]
The language file also describes settings for emitted redstone. The pulse value is described as the value that should be emitted and the pulse length as a duration in ticks. A boolean option is described as deciding whether a Redstone Torch is simulated instead of regular Redstone Dust.[7]
If your logic needs to wait, the Delayer is the crafted item for it.[4]

Menril and drying
One advancement asks you to chop down a Menril tree, which can most easily be found in Meneglin biomes. Another asks you to process Menril Log into Menril Resin and dry it to obtain Crystallized Menril. The advancement for drying asks you to craft a Drying Basin.[7]

This pack adds two ways to get Menril items without the usual route: a sieve recipe for a Menril Sapling and Create cutting recipes for Menril Planks.[4]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/diamond_mesh/moss_block/integrateddynamics/menril_sapling
Added by the pack, uses a sieve from ex-deorum.
Cutting (create)
Recipe id: create:cutting/runtime_generated/compat/integrateddynamics/menril_log_stripped_to_menril_planks
Added by the pack, cuts a Stripped Menril Log into planks.
A stonecutting recipe turns a Block of Crystallized Menril into a Crystallized Menril Brick.[4]
Power
The mod has an Energy Battery and a Generator, which the sources name Generator. The Generator is crafted from the battery, so you make the battery first. The FE aspects described earlier can read how full a battery or other FE target is. The sources here do not show capacity or generation figures.[4][7]

Crystallized Chorus in this pack
The pack changes how Crystallized Chorus is handled through Productive Metalworks. Melting a Block of Crystallized Chorus gives 1,000 of Liquid Chorus. Casting 1,000 Liquid Chorus gives the block back. Both recipes are marked as changed by the pack.[4]

How do you progress through IntegratedDynamics?
7 parts
Integrated Dynamics is a logistics mod, and the pack walks you through it in its own quest chapter, starting at "Integrated Dynamics" quest. The path goes Menril, then Crystallized Menril Chunks, then cables and power, then Variable Cards, then the Logic Programmer. Here is each stage in order.[2]
Growing Menril
The first quest asks for a Menril Sapling. In this pack you get one by sieving Moss with an Iron+ Mesh, and the pack adds sieve recipes for the iron, golden, diamond and netherite meshes. The tree also needs a 3x3 area of dirt to grow.[2][4]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/iron_mesh/moss_block/integrateddynamics/menril_sapling
Added by the pack. Golden, diamond and netherite mesh versions also exist.
Crystallized Menril Chunks
Chunks are the main crafting ingredient of the whole mod, so this is your first real goal. Put Menril Logs in a Squeezer and jump on it to turn them into Menril Resin. You can empty the Squeezer with a Redstone signal.[2]
The resin comes out on 2 sides of the Squeezer. Put a Drying Basin next to it and the basin picks the resin up. After 7.5 seconds you get a Block of Crystallized Menril. Craft that block into Crystallized Menril Chunk to finish the quest "Crystallized Menril Chunks" quest.[2][4]

Another is the Logic Cable ("Logic Cables" quest). Logic Cables don't work like hopper-style pipes, where items go from one inventory into the pipe and then into the next. They skip the middle step, which also cuts lag. They only connect Importers and Interfaces.[2][3]
Crafting Shaped

The third is the Energy Battery, which stores FE. You need Energy Interfaces to move that energy in and out. Batteries can be combined in a crafting grid to raise the total storage.[2][6]

Power and machines
With a battery in hand, you can build the energy-using machines. The Generator makes FE from burnable fuels like Coal. The Mechanical Squeezer uses energy to squeeze, and the Mechanical Drying Basin uses energy to dry.[2]

Getting advanced
The Logic Programmer lets you set the value of variables, such as an item or fluid for filtering. For example, set an item, put a Variable Card in the bottom right slot, then put that card in an importer or exporter. It will then only move that item. The Portable Logic Programmer does the same thing anywhere.[2]
The Variable Store works like a chest for your Variables and can also be part of an advanced network. For advanced networks, the quest points you to the book On the Dynamics of Integration.[2][4]

Connections to the rest of the pack
- Storage: in the Basic Storage chapter you place Item Interfaces on chests, link them with Logic Cables and add a Storage Terminal to reach everything. For wireless access, attach the Part Connector Omni Directional to your cables and use the Portable Storage Terminal.[8]
- Early ore duping: the Squeezer also turns Raw Ore Blocks into Raw Ore when you jump on it, and it may rarely give extra. See "Easy Ore Duping" quest.[5]
- Menril Berries give Night Vision for a short time when eaten. The pack changes a Xycraft extractor recipe so that water produces them.[2][4]
- Menril Bee: the Productive Bees quest "Menril Bee" quest has you hand in a Block of Crystallized Menril.[9]
- Creative Energy Battery: the pack adds an Energizing recipe that turns an Energy Battery and an ATM Star into a Creative Energy Battery. It also has a quest in the Creative Items chapter.[4][10]
How does IntegratedDynamics work with other mods?
5 parts
Integrated Dynamics is the logistics hub of the pack, and a lot of its progression runs through other mods. Some of it comes from its sibling mods, Integrated Tunnels, Integrated Terminals and Integrated Crafting. Other links come from pack recipes that tie it into Ex Deorum, Powah, Productive Bees and Productive Metalworks.[2][4]
Getting Menril Saplings with Ex Deorum
You don't have to hunt for a Menril tree. The pack adds sieve recipes so you can sift Moss with an Ex Deorum mesh and get a Menril Sapling. The recipes use the Iron Mesh, Golden Mesh, Diamond Mesh or Netherite Mesh. Here is the Iron Mesh version, and the other three work the same way with their own mesh.[2][4]
Sieve (exdeorum)
Recipe id: allthemods:exdeorum/iron_mesh/moss_block/integrateddynamics/menril_sapling
Creative Energy Battery through Powah
The pack adds an energizing recipe, using Powah's energizing, that turns an Energy Battery into a Creative Energy Battery. It needs an ATM Star as well, so this is an endgame upgrade.[4]
Energizing (powah)
Recipe id: allthemods:energizing/integrateddynamics_energy_battery_creative
Menril and Chorus from bees and casting
The pack changed some Productive Bees and Productive Metalworks recipes so they produce Integrated Dynamics materials. In the centrifuge, Menril Resin gives a Crystallized Menril Chunk plus Wax. Liquid Chorus gives an Ender Pearl plus Wax.[4]
Centrifuge (productivebees)

The Integrated family
The Integrated Tunnels parts are built on Integrated Dynamics items. The Interfaces for items, fluids and energy use a Crystallized Menril Chunk. Importers and exporters are crafted from the interfaces, and the world variants add a Logic Director on top. Here is the item chain as an example.[4]

Quests that tie it together
- "Connecting Your Storage" quest has you put Item Interfaces on chests, join them with Logic Cables and add a Storage Terminal, so you can reach your whole storage system.[8]
- "Portable Storage Access" quest covers wireless access. You attach an Omni-Directional Splitter (Part Connector Omni Directional) to the Logic Cables and right-click with the Portable Storage Terminal.[8]
- The Logic Cables and Energy Battery quests tell you to use Importers and Interfaces on the cable network, and Energy Interfaces to move stored FE in and out of the battery.[2]
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use IntegratedDynamics?
2 parts
Integrated Dynamics shows up in seven quest chapters in this pack. The main one is called "Integrated Dynamics", and the rest are Basic Logistics, Basic Storage, Basic Power, Chapter 1: Starting out, Chapter 5: Creative Items and Productive Bees. Here's what each one asks for, in order.[2][3][5][6][8][9][10]
The Integrated Dynamics chapter
It starts with "Integrated Dynamics" quest, which asks you to get a Menril Sapling. You can get one by sieving Moss with an Iron+ Mesh, and the tree needs a 3x3 area of dirt to grow. The quest rewards a guidebook, and the chapter covers the basic concepts of the mod.[2]
- a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for a Squeezer. Put Menril Logs in it and jump on it to make Menril Resin. A Redstone signal empties the Squeezer.[2]
- a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" is a side quest that also unlocks right after the first one. It asks for Menril Berries, which give you Night Vision for a short time when eaten.[2]
- a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for a Drying Basin. Place it next to the Squeezer and it picks up the resin. After 7.5 seconds the resin turns into a Block of Crystallized Menril.[2]
- "Crystallized Menril Chunks" quest asks for a Crystallized Menril Chunk. You craft these from Blocks of Crystallized Menril, and they are the main crafting ingredient of the mod.[2]
Three quests unlock after the chunks. a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for the Wrench, which rotates or destroys certain blocks. "Logic Cables" quest asks for the Logic Cable. a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for the Energy Battery, which stores FE and needs Energy Interfaces to transfer it.[2]
The energy branch continues from the battery quest. a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for the Generator, which burns fuels like Coal to make FE. a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for the Mechanical Squeezer, and it also needs the Squeezer quest done. a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for the Mechanical Drying Basin, and it also needs the Drying Basin quest done. Both mechanical machines use energy.[2]
The logic branch continues from the Logic Cables quest. "Variable Cards" quest asks for the Variable Card, which you put in an Importer slot to configure it. After that come a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" for the Input Variable Transformer and a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" for the Output Variable Transformer.[2]
The "Getting Advanced" quest, a quest in "Integrated Dynamics", asks for the Logic Programmer, which sets variable values such as items or fluids for filtering. Its prerequisite quest is not among the sources I have. Two quests follow it: a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" for the Portable Logic Programmer, which works anywhere, and a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" for the Variable Store, a chest for your variables.[2]
Other chapters that use the mod
- Basic Logistics: "Integrated Dynamics" quest asks for a Wrench. After it come a quest in "Basic Logistics" for a Variable Card and a quest in "Basic Logistics" for a Logic Cable. This chapter's text says Logic Cables skip the hopper-like behavior of other pipes and are just for connecting Importers and Interfaces.[3]
- Basic Storage: "Connecting Your Storage" quest asks for a Logic Cable, an Part Interface Item and an Part Terminal Storage. It unlocks after the Integrated Terminals quest. "Portable Storage Access" quest follows and asks for an Portable Storage Terminal and an Part Connector Omni Directional, for wireless access to your storage.[8]
- Basic Power: "Integrated Dynamics: Energy Battery" quest asks for an Energy Battery and unlocks after the Storing Power quest. The text says batteries can be combined in a crafting grid to increase the overall storage.[6]
- Chapter 1: Starting out: "Easy Ore Duping" quest unlocks after Ore Chunks. It asks for a Squeezer and an Copper Ore Hammer. The Squeezer turns Raw Ore Blocks into Raw Ore when you jump on it, and rarely gives extra. The hammer then cracks Raw Ore into 2 Dust.[5]
- Chapter 5: Creative Items: a quest in "Chapter 5: Creative Items" asks for the Creative Energy Battery and unlocks after Beginning Of The End.[10]
- Productive Bees: "Menril Bee" quest asks for a Block of Crystallized Menril along with one of the listed Productive Bees items, such as a honeycomb, a bee cage or a spawn egg. It unlocks after another quest in that chapter.[9]
