IntegratedTerminals is a mod in All the Mods 10: To the Sky 2.1.0, where it is version 1.10.0. Terminals for managing and overviewing Integrated Dynamics networks. (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is IntegratedTerminals?

1 part

Integrated Terminals is the early-game storage mod in this pack. This pack ships version 1.9.0 for NeoForge 1.21.1. The quest book calls it the best storage solution before you set up AE2. It lets you reach all the chests around you from one terminal, and it also gives you some autocrafting options.[1][2]

It is for you if you want a proper storage network without waiting for AE2. It works together with Integrated Dynamics and Integrated Tunnels, so you will be building with their cables and interfaces too.[2]

Where it fits in the progression

The Basic Storage chapter introduces it with "Integrated Terminals" quest. That quest's task is making Menril Glass. You make it by putting Glass in a Drying Basin filled with Menril Resin.[2]

  1. Make some Menril Glass for "Integrated Terminals" quest.[2]
  2. In "Connecting Your Storage" quest, put Item Interfaces (Part Interface Item) on the chests you want to connect. Link them all with Logic Cables (Logic Cable).[2]
  3. Add a Storage Terminal (Part Terminal Storage) to that cable network. You then have access to your whole storage system.[2]
  4. In "Portable Storage Access" quest, attach an Omni-Directional Splitter (Part Connector Omni Directional) to the Logic Cables. Right click with the Portable Storage Terminal to reach your storage wirelessly.[2]

There is also a Crafting Job terminal part, Part Terminal Crafting Job. A quest in the Integrated Dynamics chapter (a quest in "Integrated Dynamics") describes it as showing which crafting recipes are happening at any time.[3]

Tip: Start with the Basic Storage quests in order. Each one unlocks the next, so you get from a first terminal to wireless access without guessing what to build.[2]

How do you get started with IntegratedTerminals?

4 parts

Integrated Terminals is the pack's early-game storage answer, so you don't have to wait for AE2. The quest book says it lets you access all the chests around it, with some autocrafting options on top. The quests below go in this order.[2]

Step 1: Make Menril Glass

Everything starts with Menril Glass, the task of the "Integrated Terminals" quest quest. You make it by putting Glass in a Drying Basin filled with Menril Resin. The Storage Terminal recipe uses it, so make it before anything else.[2][4]

Step 2: Build your storage network

Next comes "Connecting Your Storage" quest. You make some Item Interfaces and Logic Cables, place the Interfaces on the chests you want to connect, and join them all with Logic Cables. Then you add a Storage Terminal to the network and you can reach your whole storage system from one place.[2]

The terminal is Part Terminal Storage. This is the in-pack recipe:[2][4]

Step 3: Go wireless

Once the network works, "Portable Storage Access" quest lets you open it without standing at the terminal. You attach an Omni-Directional Splitter from Integrated Dynamics to any Logic Cable connecting your storage. Then you right click with the Portable Storage Terminal.[2]

The Portable Storage Terminal is made from a Storage Terminal part, so craft that first.

Step 4: Watch your crafting jobs

When you start using autocrafting, the Part Terminal Crafting Job is worth having. The quest a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" in the Integrated Dynamics chapter describes it as showing which crafting recipes are happening at any time. It also lets you see and cancel the running crafting jobs in the network.[3][5]

Tip: The autocrafting features of the Storage Terminal and the Crafting Job Terminal only apply if you have an autocrafting mod such as Integrated Crafting installed.[5]

How does IntegratedTerminals work?

4 parts

Integrated Terminals is the screen layer for Integrated Dynamics. Its own description calls it terminals for managing and overviewing Integrated Dynamics networks. In this pack you get the Storage Terminal part, Part Terminal Storage, and the Crafting Job terminal part, Part Terminal Crafting Job. There is also a handheld version, the Portable Storage Terminal.[4][5]

The Storage Terminal

The Storage Terminal shows what is stored on your network. If you open it and see no tabs, the network has nothing to show yet. The screen tells you to connect storage to the network with an interface. Once storage is connected, you click a tab to view the network's contents.[5]

The screen has a channel setting. You can sort items by name, by internal registry ID or by amount, and fluids by name, ID or amount in mB. Sorting can be ascending or descending. You can also change the grid size (small, medium or large, plus options to scale the width and height). If you like your layout, use "Mark as default settings" so new terminals start with the current settings.[5]

The terminal also has Ender Storage text on its screen. You apply the Ender upgrade by right-clicking a Storage Terminal with an Eye of Ender. You can also filter enchantable items dynamically in the terminal by using a Variable.[5]

The built-in crafting grid

The Storage Terminal includes a crafting grid with a few helpers. Auto-refill refills the grid after you craft, and you can choose where it pulls from: the player, the network, or both in either order. You can also turn it off. "Balance Crafting Grid" spreads equal items evenly over the slots. "Clear Crafting Grid into storage" empties the grid into the network, and shift-clicking it clears into your own inventory instead.[5]

Crafting jobs

The terminal can also start crafting jobs for things you don't have stored. You can filter and order the list by stored items, craftable items, or both (craftable first or last). When you pick something to craft, the terminal shows "Calculating crafting plan..." and then gives you a plan. The plan is labelled Valid, Running or Incomplete. It can also fail with "Insufficient Crafting Interfaces" or "Recursive recipe detected!". So your network needs enough crafting interfaces, and your recipes must not loop back on themselves.[5]

Before you start a job, you can turn on Notify to get a toast when it finishes. A finished job shows a "Crafting Job Completed" message.[5]

Each job in the plan has one of these statuses:[5]

  • Valid: not started yet.[5]
  • Queueing: waiting for other jobs to finish.[5]
  • Pending Dependencies: waiting for dependencies to finish.[5]
  • Pending Inputs: missing input ingredients.[5]
  • Crafting: the job has started and is waiting for outputs.[5]
  • Finished: the job is done and the outputs have been received.[5]
  • Invalid: missing storage ingredients.[5]
  • Recipe Not Allowed: the recipe inputs could not be inserted into the crafting target.[5]
  • Error: an unknown error.[5]

The Crafting Job terminal lets you watch the jobs on your network. It shows each job's owner, channel, progress and remaining time. You can switch between a tree view and a compact view, cancel one job, or cancel all jobs. Duration estimates only appear once the crafting interfaces have crafted a recipe before. Until then you see "No estimate yet".[5]

Crafting the terminals

Both terminal parts need Menril Glass, which you make by drying Menril Resin onto Glass. Its in-game description calls it illuminating glass. Here is the Storage Terminal part:[4][5]

How do you progress through IntegratedTerminals?

5 parts

In this pack, the Integrated Terminals path is a short, quest-guided line that sits in the Basic Storage chapter. The quest describes it as the best storage solution before you set up AE2. It gives you access to all the chests around your network, plus some autocrafting options.[2]

First, get Menril Glass

The quest "Integrated Terminals" quest starts you off by asking for Menril Glass. The quest says to make it by putting Glass in a Drying Basin filled with Menril Resin. Everything else in the mod builds on this item.[2]

Next, connect your storage

"Connecting Your Storage" quest has you make Part Interface Item parts and Logic Cable. Put the interfaces on the chests you want to connect, then link them all with cables. Add a Storage Terminal to the network and you can reach your whole storage system from one place.[2]

The Storage Terminal is Part Terminal Storage. Here is its in-pack recipe:[2][4]

Then, go wireless

"Portable Storage Access" quest covers wireless access. Attach an Part Connector Omni Directional from Integrated Dynamics to any cable that connects your storage. Then right click with the Portable Storage Terminal to open your system from anywhere on that network.[2]

The Portable Storage Terminal is crafted from a Storage Terminal part plus one other ingredient, as shown here:[4]

Tip: The Portable Storage Terminal recipe uses the Storage Terminal part from the connect-your-storage step, so build that first and keep one spare.[4]

Finally, see what is being crafted

In the Integrated Dynamics chapter, the quest a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" asks for Part Terminal Crafting Job. The quest describes it as showing which crafting recipes are happening at any time. It comes after an earlier quest in that chapter.[3]

Quick progression summary

  1. Make Menril Glass for the Integrated Terminals quest.[2]
  2. Connect your chests with item interfaces and cables, then add Part Terminal Storage.[2]
  3. Craft the Portable Storage Terminal and use an Omni-Directional Splitter on your cables for wireless access.[2][4]
  4. Add Part Terminal Crafting Job to keep an eye on active crafting jobs.[3][4]

How does IntegratedTerminals work with other mods?

2 parts

In this pack, Integrated Terminals leans heavily on Integrated Dynamics for its recipes, and the quest book ties it to a few other Integrated mods too. The quest book calls it an early-game storage solution, and says it is the best one available before you set up AE2.[2][4]

Integrated Dynamics

Your first step is Menril Glass. The quest book tells you to put Glass in a Drying Basin filled with Menril Resin. The pack has this recipe for both the Drying Basin and the Mechanical Drying Basin, and both recipe types belong to Integrated Dynamics.[2][4]

Mod recipe

Drying Basin (integrateddynamics)

Recipe id: integratedterminals:drying_basin/menril_glass

The Mechanical Drying Basin has its own version of this recipe, integratedterminals:mechanical_drying_basin/menril_glass.

Chorus Glass follows the same pattern, but it uses Liquid Chorus instead of Menril Resin. The pack has a Drying Basin recipe and a Mechanical Drying Basin recipe for it.[4]

Mod recipe

Drying Basin (integrateddynamics)

Recipe id: integratedterminals:drying_basin/chorus_glass

Drying Basin version of the Chorus Glass recipe.

The Part Terminal Storage mixes Integrated Dynamics parts with Menril Glass, so you can't make it without that mod.[4]

Connecting your storage

The quest "Connecting Your Storage" quest walks you through the basic setup. Put Part Interface Item parts on the chests you want to connect, link them all with Logic Cable, then attach a Storage Terminal to reach your whole storage system.[2]

"Portable Storage Access" quest adds wireless access. Attach an Part Connector Omni Directional (called an Omni-Directional Splitter in the quest text) to any of the cables connecting your storage. Then right click with the Portable Storage Terminal to open your system.[2]

Tip: Start with the "Integrated Terminals" quest quest. It begins with Menril Glass, and the storage and portable terminal quests follow it in order.[2]

Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use IntegratedTerminals?

2 parts

Integrated Terminals appears in the Basic Storage chapter and in the Integrated Dynamics chapter of the pack's quest book. Basic Storage is the main one: the mod is presented there as an early-game storage solution to use before you set up AE2. The Integrated Dynamics chapter has a single quest for it.[2][3]

Basic Storage chapter

These quests unlock in a chain, so you work through them in this order.[2]

  1. "Integrated Terminals" quest is the starting point. The quest describes the mod as a way to access all surrounding chests, with some autocrafting options too. The task is to get Menril Glass, which the quest says you make by putting Glass in a Drying Basin filled with Menril Resin.[2]
  2. "Connecting Your Storage" quest unlocks after the first quest. It asks for Logic Cables, Item Interfaces and the Part Terminal Storage. You place the interfaces on the chests you want to connect, link them with the cables, and add the Storage Terminal to reach your whole storage system.[2]
  3. "Portable Storage Access" quest unlocks after the previous quest. It asks for the Portable Storage Terminal and an Omni-Directional Splitter from Integrated Dynamics. You attach the splitter to the Logic Cables that connect your storage, then right click with the Portable Storage Terminal to open your system wirelessly.[2]

Integrated Dynamics chapter

a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" has no title in the quest book. Its task is the Part Terminal Crafting Job, and its description says it shows which crafting recipes are happening at any time. It unlocks after another quest in that chapter.[3]

Tip: Follow the Basic Storage quests in order. The portable terminal quest uses an Omni-Directional Splitter on the Logic Cables that connect your storage, so build that network first.[2]
