What is IntegratedTunnels?
3 parts
IntegratedTunnels is the logistics mod in the Integrated Dynamics family. It moves items, fluids and energy between inventories, tanks and power sources over Logic Cables. This pack ships version 1.11.1.[1][2][3]
How it works
The mod has three kinds of parts. Interfaces (Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid, Part Interface Energy) read whatever they are attached to. The pack's quests compare them to an AE2 Storage Bus. A chest with 100 Cobblestone and an interface on it means your network has 100 Cobblestone.[3]
Importers such as Part Importer Item pull from the block they sit on. Exporters such as Part Exporter Item push the other way. Item, fluid and energy each have their own part. There are also world variants, including Part Importer World Block and Part Exporter World Block.[2][3]
You set up the rules with a Variable Card in the importer. It can be changed to move things at the integer limit, which is over 2 billion.[2][3]
Where it fits in the pack
You meet it early. In the storage questline, "Connecting Your Storage" quest has you place Item Interfaces on your chests, link them with Logic Cables and add a Storage Terminal. That gives you access to your whole storage system. A follow-up quest says fluid interfaces work the same way on anything that holds fluid.[4]
The Basic Logistics chapter then covers "Item Importing" quest, "Fluid Importing" quest and "Energy Importing" quest. The Integrated Dynamics chapter has quests for interfaces, importing and exporting.[2][3]
Things to watch for
- The Fluid Importer only moves fluids from one tank to another. It does not place or take fluid sources in the world.[2]
- The quest author had problems importing or exporting energy with Flux Plugs and Flux Points, so be careful there.[2]
Unverified Nothing in the sources places IntegratedTunnels on the ATM Star quest path, and no recipes were provided for it, so check in game for crafting details.
How do you get started with IntegratedTunnels?
6 parts
IntegratedTunnels is all about moving things around an Integrated Dynamics network: items, fluids and energy. The pack's quests introduce the parts in a clear order, and this is the order I'd follow too.[2][3][4]
First, make an Item Interface
Everything starts with the Part Interface Item. Interfaces read whatever inventory they're attached to, a bit like an AE2 Storage Bus. If a chest holding 100 Cobblestone has an interface on it, your network counts 100 Cobblestone in its system.[3]

Next, connect your storage
Put Item Interfaces on the chests you want to connect and link them all with Logic Cables. Then slap a Storage Terminal on the network and you have access to your whole storage system. The quest "Connecting Your Storage" quest covers this step.[4]
Then, add an Item Importer
Once your storage is connected, the Part Importer Item lets you pull items out of an inventory on purpose. The quest "Item Importing" quest describes the setup.[2]

- Put the Item Importer onto the inventory you want items pulled from.[2]
- Put an Item Interface on the second inventory and connect the two with Logic Cables.[2]
- Put a Variable Card into the Importer and change it as you please.[2]
The importer can be set to move items at the Integer Limit, which is over 2 billion.[2]
After that, add an Item Exporter
The Part Exporter Item works like an importer, only it exports instead. See a quest in "Integrated Dynamics".[3]

Finally, move fluids and energy
Fluids work the same way. Put a Part Interface Fluid on anything that holds fluid, connect it with Logic Cables, and the fluid shows up in your system. A handy trick is to hold buckets in your inventory, click the fluid, then click again on the buckets to fill them. The related quests are a quest in "Basic Storage" and "Fluid Importing" quest.[2][4]
Crafting Shaped
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_interface_fluid
The Part Importer Fluid follows the same pattern as the Item Importer, but it only moves fluids from one tank to another. It does not place or take fluid sources in the world.[2]
For power, pair an Part Importer Energy with an Part Interface Energy, link them with Logic Cables, and edit the Variable Cards. See "Energy Importing" quest.[2]
Where to go next
The world variants, such as the Part Importer World Block, are each crafted from a basic part, so make the basic importers and exporters first. One of the mod's advancements has you break Stone with a World Block Importer.[5][6]
How does IntegratedTunnels work?
5 parts
IntegratedTunnels is the part of the Integrated Dynamics family that moves things around. It handles items, fluids and energy through parts that sit on your cables. Interfaces connect storage to the network, importers and exporters move resources in and out, and the world versions work on blocks, dropped items and entities in front of them.[5][6]
Interfaces: the base of everything
You get a separate interface for each resource: Part Interface Item, Part Interface Fluid and Part Interface Energy. Here are the recipes for the fluid and energy versions too.[5]

The filtering versions, such as Part Interface Filter Item, let you control what passes through. Their settings can apply the filter to insertions into the network, to extractions from the network (views included), or to both. The mod's own advancements give examples: exposing an inventory's contents only during daytime, and only passing items from a certain mod.[5][6]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_interface_filter_item
Two item interfaces and a hopper make one filtering item interface.
Interfaces also have a passive IO setting, which decides whether the target may insert into or extract from the network. A separate option makes anything always allowed, ignoring the filter. If you have several interfaces, a round robin option iterates them in circular order and ignores priorities.[6]
Importers and exporters
Part Importer Item, Part Importer Fluid and Part Importer Energy pull a resource in. The exporters, like Part Exporter Item, push it out. They are driven by a boolean: an item exporter exports items while its boolean is true, and the same goes for the fluid and energy versions.[5][6]

The settings give you a lot of control. You can switch to a blacklist, so everything except the listed items is handled. You can require exact amounts, or only allow an exact stack size to move in one tick. An empty value can match everything or nothing. For items and fluids you can also match NBT data, with options such as subset, superset, recursive checking and requiring a tag. There is also an option to craft the instance if it is not present in the network.[6]
The mod's advancements show typical setups. One exports items into an inventory until 10 items are in it. Another picks up 5 items at a time with a World Item Importer.[6]
World importers and exporters
The world versions work on whatever the part faces. There are item, fluid, energy and block variants, for example Part Importer World Block, Part Exporter World Block and Part Exporter World Item. The block importer picks up blocks and the block exporter places them. The advancements mention breaking stone with a World Block Importer, dropping all items with a World Item Exporter, and placing logs through the 'logs' tag list.[5][6]

World parts have extra settings. You can break a block only if it produces drops, or match the item form of the block instead of its dropped items. Offsets take a value between 0 and 1, yaw and pitch range from -180 to 180 degrees, and entity velocity ranges from 0 to 25. The entity index picks the n-th entity, and -1 always picks a random one. The energy, fluid and item world parts can also import from or export to the entities they face.[6]
Player Simulator
Part Player Simulator acts like a player. It can click with any item or with an empty hand, and it can simulate sneaking. A continuous click can be enabled, otherwise each click takes one tick. Its crafting uses the world block and world item importers and exporters, so you build those first.[5][6]

Reading the network
The mod also has read aspects for logic. They report the number of valid interfaces for item or fluid storage, the total amount and upper limit of items or fluids in the network, and a list of everything stored. There is also an operator that gives the count of one specific item or fluid.[6]
Unverified Exact transfer rates per tick, default priorities and any pack-specific changes to the mod's values are not shown by the sources here, since no config file for this mod was available.
How do you progress through IntegratedTunnels?
4 parts
The pack's quests walk you through IntegratedTunnels in a clear order. You start with interfaces to connect your storage, move on to importers and exporters to shuttle things around, and then branch into the world variants and a few extras.[2][3][4]
Tier 1: Interfaces
Your first step is the quest "Connecting Your Storage" quest, which unlocks after Integrated Terminals. You make Part Interface Item parts and Logic Cables, put the interfaces on the chests you want to link, and join them all with cables. Add a Storage Terminal and you can reach your whole storage system.[4]
Fluids work the same way. The follow-up quest tells you to put an Part Interface Fluid on any storage that holds fluid and connect it with Logic Cables, and the fluid shows up in your system. A handy trick from the quest is to carry buckets, click the fluid, then click again on the buckets to fill them.[4]
The interface quest in the Integrated Dynamics chapter comes after Crystallized Menril Chunks and explains what interfaces do. They read whatever they're looking at, much like an AE2 Storage Bus. A chest holding 100 Cobblestone with an interface on it means your network has 100 Cobblestone. That quest accepts the item, fluid or energy interface, and Part Interface Energy is the energy one.[3]

Tier 2: Importers and exporters
The Basic Logistics chapter has three quests: "Item Importing" quest, "Fluid Importing" quest and "Energy Importing" quest. Each one has you build an importer plus the matching interface. For items, that's Part Importer Item with Part Interface Item.[2]
- Put the importer on the inventory you want to pull from.[2][3]
- Put the interface on the second inventory and connect the two with Logic Cables.[2][3]
- Put a Variable Card into the importer and change it as you like. It can import at the Integer Limit, which is over 2 billion.[2][3]

Fluids and energy follow the same pattern. Part Importer Fluid goes on a tank, and Part Importer Energy goes on a power source. The fluid importer only moves fluids from one tank to another. It does not place or take fluid sources in the world.[2]
Exporters work like importers, just in the other direction, as the Exporting quest in the Integrated Dynamics chapter puts it. That quest accepts the item, fluid and energy exporters, for example Part Exporter Item.[3]
Crafting Shapeless
Recipe id: integratedtunnels:crafting/part_exporter_item
Tier 3: World variants
The Importing and Exporting quests also accept world versions of each part: Part Importer World Item, Part Importer World Fluid, Part Importer World Energy and Part Importer World Block, plus the matching exporters such as Part Exporter World Block. In the pack's recipes, every world part is made from its regular importer or exporter. The two block versions also need a diamond pickaxe.[3][5]

Extras
There are filter interfaces for items, fluids and energy, for example Part Interface Filter Item. Each one is made from its matching interface. At the top of the chain sits the Part Player Simulator, which is built from the world block and world item parts.[5]

How does IntegratedTunnels work with other mods?
4 parts
IntegratedTunnels doesn't stand alone in this pack. Every part it adds is crafted from Integrated Dynamics items, and the quests also tie it into Integrated Terminals and a few vanilla items. Here's how it all fits together.[3][4][5]
Interfaces start with Menril
All three interfaces (item, fluid and energy) need a Crystallized Menril Chunk plus one partner item. The item interface takes a wooden chest, the fluid interface takes a Bucket, and the energy interface takes an Energy Battery.[5]

The quest text compares an interface to an AE2 Storage Bus: it reads whatever it's attached to. A chest holding 100 Cobblestone with an interface on it means your Integrated Dynamics network sees 100 Cobblestone.[3]
Importers and exporters use variable transformers
You don't craft importers and exporters from scratch. Combine an interface with an Input Variable Transformer to get the matching importer, or with an Output Variable Transformer to get the matching exporter. This works the same way for item, fluid and energy.[5]

World parts use the Logic Director
The world versions of the importers and exporters (item, fluid and energy) are made by combining the normal importer or exporter with an Logic Director.[5]

What the quests show
- In Connecting Your Storage "Connecting Your Storage" quest, you place item interfaces on your chests, link them with Integrated Dynamics Logic Cables, and add a Part Terminal Storage from Integrated Terminals to reach all that storage from one place.[4]
- A follow-up quest a quest in "Basic Storage" says fluid interfaces work the same way on anything that holds fluid. It suggests keeping buckets in your inventory to pull fluid out of the network.[4]
- The Item Importing "Item Importing" quest, Fluid Importing "Fluid Importing" quest and Energy Importing "Energy Importing" quest quests all use Logic Cables and Variable Cards. The item importer can be set to move items at the Integer Limit, which is over 2 billion.[2]
- The fluid importer only moves fluid from one tank to another. It does not place or pick up fluid sources in the world.[2]
The Importing a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" and Exporting a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" quests in the Integrated Dynamics chapter say exporters work like importers, but in the other direction.[3]
Which All the Mods 10: To the Sky quests use IntegratedTunnels?
3 parts
IntegratedTunnels appears in the quest chapters Basic Storage, Basic Logistics and Integrated Dynamics. Basic Storage shows you how to hook up your storage, Basic Logistics has one importer quest for each of items, fluids and energy, and Integrated Dynamics covers interfaces, importers and exporters in a more general way.[2][3][4]
Basic Storage
"Connecting Your Storage" quest comes after the Integrated Terminals quest. It asks for Logic Cables, an Part Interface Item and a Storage Terminal. Put Item Interfaces on the chests you want to connect, link them with Logic Cables, and add a Storage Terminal to reach your whole storage system.[4]
a quest in "Basic Storage" unlocks after that one and asks for an Part Interface Fluid. Put it on any storage that holds fluid and connect it with Logic Cables, and the fluid appears in your system. The quest suggests keeping buckets in your inventory so you can fill them from the system.[4]
Basic Logistics
These three quests all unlock after the same two prerequisite quests. Each one asks for an importer and a matching interface.[2]
- "Item Importing" quest asks for an Part Importer Item and an Part Interface Item. Put the importer on the inventory you pull from and the interface on the second inventory. Connect them with Logic Cables, then put a Variable Card in the importer. It can be set to import items at the Integer Limit (over 2 billion).[2]
- "Fluid Importing" quest asks for an Part Importer Fluid and an Part Interface Fluid. It works like the item version, but it only moves fluids from one tank to another. It does not place or take fluid sources in the world.[2]
- "Energy Importing" quest asks for an Part Importer Energy and an Part Interface Energy. Put the importer on a power source and connect it to the interface with Logic Cables. The quest author reports problems importing or exporting with Flux Plugs and Points, so be mindful of that.[2]
Integrated Dynamics
In this chapter each quest accepts any one of several parts as its task, so you can pick whichever type you need.[3]
- a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" comes after the Crystallized Menril Chunks quest. It accepts the energy, item or fluid interface. The text explains that interfaces read whatever they are looking at, much like an AE2 Storage Bus. A chest with 100 Cobblestone in it and an interface on it means your network has 100 Cobblestone.[3]
- a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" comes after quest 3BC94B0B922C0708. It accepts any importer, such as Part Importer Item, Part Importer Fluid, Part Importer Energy or Part Importer World Block. It repeats the importer setup and the option to import at the Integer Limit (over 2 billion).[3]
- a quest in "Integrated Dynamics" comes after quest 6D9FA4DF842C1010. It accepts any exporter, such as Part Exporter Item, Part Exporter Fluid, Part Exporter Energy or Part Exporter World Block. The quest says exporters work like importers, only they export instead.[3]
