What is Draconic Evolution?
2 parts
Draconic Evolution is the pack's end-game tech mod. It adds high-tier tools and armor, high-tier RF energy storage, and a handful of other features: teleportation, mob farming (spawning and killing), player detection, and time and weather control. The mod's own page admits that its description is ancient, so treat that list as a rough overview rather than a full feature list.[1]
This pack ships version 3.1.4.632 of the mod, built for Minecraft 1.21.1.[2]
Where it fits in the pack
You meet the mod early in the quest book. The quest a quest in "New Beginning" in the New Beginning chapter unlocks after the Steel quest and accepts either Draconium Dust or a Just Dire Things goo block as its task. The quest text describes the mod as machines plus a bit of magic, used to merge and upgrade blocks, and it says everything is based on The End.[3]
The mod comes up again in the Apothic Spawners chapter. The quest a quest in "Apothic Spawners" asks you for the Stabilized Mob Spawner, which is Draconic Evolution's version of the spawner. Using one of the mod's Cores on a spawner turns it into a Stabilized Spawner. You can swap Cores later, but you can't change the stats directly, because the Cores set them. A better Core means more mobs spawned at a faster rate.[4]
Who it's for
This mod is for you if you want powerful gear, big energy storage and serious mob-farming options. The quests suggest you start with draconium and work towards the spawner upgrades.[1][3][4]
Unverified The sources don't show Draconic Evolution on the ATM Star quest path, and the mod has no in-jar guidebook that we could check.
How do you get started with Draconic Evolution?
3 parts
Welcome to Draconic Evolution! The pack's quest book describes it as a mod that uses machines and magic to merge and upgrade blocks, and says it is all based on The End. Your first goal is to get some Draconium Dust and then work up through the cores.[3]
Step 1: Get draconium
The "New Beginning" quest a quest in "New Beginning" asks for Draconium Dust (or a Just Dire Things goo block). The pack adds several ways to turn a Draconium Ingot into dust: crushing in Create, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism and Occultism, plus a shapeless recipe with an ore hammer.[3][5]
Shapeless (kubejs)
- any draconium ingot
- any ore hammer
Recipe id: alltheores:processing/ore_hammer/draconium_dust_from_ingot
This hammer recipe for dust is added by the pack.
If you only have nuggets, you can compress them into an ingot, and you can break an ingot back down into nuggets.[5]

Step 2: Craft the first items, in order
- Make the Draconium Core. It is used in many of the early machines, such as the Generator, Energy Pylon, Fusion Crafting Core and Disenchanter, so craft this first.[5]
- Make a Generator. Its GUI offers Eco, Eco Plus, Normal, Performance and Overdrive modes, trading fuel efficiency against output power.[5][6]
- Craft a Fusion Crafting Core and a Draconium Fusion Crafting Injector, which are both made from a Draconium Core.[5]
- Upgrade to the Wyvern Core, the next tier of core. It is used for bigger items like the Energy Core and the Celestial Manipulator.[5]

Step 3: Plan your energy
Once you have a Wyvern Core, the Wyvern Energy Controller is the stepping stone to the Draconic Energy Controller and then the Chaotic Energy Controller. Each one is crafted from the previous tier's parts. The Energy Pylon is also made from a Draconium Core.[5]

How does Draconic Evolution work?
7 parts
Draconic Evolution is an end-game tech mod. Its own description lists teleportation, mob farming (spawning and killing), player detection, time and weather control, powerful tools and armor, and high-tier RF energy storage. The mod's description page admits it is ancient, so treat it as a rough guide. Below is what the pack's own data shows about how the systems work.[1]
Energy Core and the controller chain
Bulk energy storage is the Energy Core, a structure you assemble rather than a single block. Its screen has an Assemble Core button, an Activate/Deactivate toggle, Tier Up and Tier Down buttons, and a Toggle Build Guide button to help you place the pieces. It shows "Core structure invalid." when the structure is wrong and "Stabilizer configuration invalid." when the stabilizers are wrong. Some tiers also say "(Advanced stabilizers required)", so plan on Energy Core Stabilizer blocks as part of the build.[5][6]
The screen also has an Energy Target field. It is for display only, so it will not change how the core behaves. You can also switch the legacy renderer on or off and customise the core's colour.[6]
The controllers step up in this order: Wyvern Energy Controller, then Draconic Energy Controller, then Chaotic Energy Controller. The recipes below show the in-pack upgrades.[5]

Moving energy around
The mod has Energy Relay Crystals, Energy I/O Crystals and Wireless Energy Crystals, each in Basic, Wyvern and Draconic versions. It also has Energy Pylons, an Energy Transfuser, a Flux Gate and a Fluid Gate. You connect devices with a linking tool. Its messages include "Devices linked.", plus Clear Links and Clear Receivers options, and a HUD that shows charge and links.[6]
The first wireless step is the Basic Wireless Energy Crystal, which is built from a Basic Energy Relay Crystal and a Particle Generator.[5]

Fusion crafting
Many of the mod's top items use a dedicated recipe type, fusion crafting. The mod has a Fusion Crafting Core and Fusion Crafting Injectors in Draconium, Wyvern, Draconic and Chaotic versions. The recipes below for the Draconic Core, the Chaotic Fusion Crafting Injector and the Awakened Draconium Block all use fusion crafting.[5][6]

Teleportation with the Dislocator
The Dislocator uses Ender Pearls as teleport fuel, and its Fuel readout shows the total number of teleports remaining. You can add 1, 16 or all the Ender Pearls from your inventory. Sneak and right click to bind your current X, Y and Z coordinates, the direction you are facing and your dimension. A right click then switches between "Teleport to Selected" and "Blink", and you can also set keybindings. The location list lets you add, rename, reorder, update and delete saved spots, and toggle an edit lock.[5][6]
The mod also includes a Dislocator Receptacle, a Dislocation Normalization Field Projector and the Dislocator Pedestal. The sources do not explain how they interact.[5][6]

Smaller machines
- The Draconium Chest has an auto-smelt feed with these modes: Off, All (feeds every smeltable item into the furnace), Filtered (feeds only items already being smelted) and Filtered (Sticky), which keeps one item so the filter persists. You can also change the chest colour.[6]
- The Disenchanter screen shows the level of the enchant and an XP cost in levels.[6]
How do you progress through Draconic Evolution?
6 parts
Draconic Evolution in this pack climbs through the Draconium, Wyvern, Draconic and Chaotic tiers. The in-pack recipes link each tier to the one before it through the core and energy controller chain, so that chain is the easiest way to plan your progress.[5]
Where the quests point you
The pack's main quest for this mod sits in the New Beginning chapter and comes after the Steel quest. It accepts either Draconium Dust or a Just Dire Things goo block, so it is shared with that mod. The quest text describes Draconic Evolution as a mod that uses machines and magic to merge and upgrade blocks, all based on The End. See a quest in "New Beginning".[3]
The other quest is in the Apothic Spawners chapter and asks for a Stabilized Mob Spawner. Using one of the Cores on a spawner turns it into a Stabilized Spawner. You can swap the Cores later, but the stats are then set by the Core. The better the Core, the more mobs spawn and the faster they do it. See a quest in "Apothic Spawners".[4]
Getting Draconium Dust the pack's way
The pack adds its own ways to turn a Draconium Ingot into Draconium Dust. There are crushing recipes for Create, Immersive Engineering, Mekanism and Occultism, plus a shapeless crafting recipe that uses any ore hammer. Dust matters because both Draconium Infused Obsidian and the Potentiometer use it in their recipes.[5]
Crushing (mekanism)
Recipe id: allthemods:mekanism/crushing/draconium_dust
One of the pack-added crushing routes. Create, Immersive Engineering and Occultism have their own versions.
Draconium tier
The Draconium Core is the base of the early machines. The Fusion Crafting Core, Draconium Fusion Crafting Injector, Generator, Energy Pylon and Particle Generator all have it in their recipes. So do utility blocks such as the Disenchanter, Entity Detector, Flux Gate and Fluid Gate.[5]

The Draconium Core is the starting point for most machines in this tier.
Wyvern tier
The Wyvern Core is built from the Draconium Core and is the next step up. It is used in the Celestial Manipulator and in reactor stabilizer parts such as the Reactor Stabilizer Focus Ring and the Reactor Stabilizer Frame.[5]
The Wyvern Energy Controller (the Wyvern Energy Controller) is used in the Energy Core and the Mob Grinder. It also leads into the energy crystals: the Basic Energy Relay Crystal is crafted from it, and the Wyvern Energy Relay Crystal builds on that basic crystal.[5]

Draconic tier
The Draconic Energy Controller (the Draconic Energy Controller) is where Awakened Draconium Ingot enters the chain, and it also builds on the Wyvern core and controller. Awakened Draconium can be compressed into an Awakened Draconium Block and split back into Awakened Draconium Nugget items.[5]
The Draconic Wireless Energy Crystal is made from a Draconic Energy Relay Crystal. The Draconic Damage Module and Draconic AOE Module modules are the base for the Chaotic modules in the next tier.[5]

Chaotic tier
The top tier runs on chaos fragments. They compress upward from the Tiny Chaos Fragment to the Small Chaos Fragment, then the Large Chaos Fragment, and finally the Chaos Shard. Each step can also be split back down.[5]
The Chaotic Energy Controller (the Chaotic Energy Controller) builds on the Draconic Core and the Draconic Energy Controller, so you cannot skip a tier. Chaotic gear follows the same pattern: the Chaotic Damage Module builds on the Draconic Damage Module, and the Chaotic AOE Module builds on the Draconic AOE Module.[5]

The Chaotic Energy Controller needs the Draconic tier controller first.
How does Draconic Evolution work with other mods?
4 parts
Draconic Evolution doesn't live on its own in this pack. Its items show up in recipes for Mystical Agriculture, Mystical Agradditions, Productive Bees and Time in a Bottle, and the questbook ties it to a couple of other mods too. Here's what the sources confirm.[3][4][5]
Mystical Agriculture and Agradditions
You can get Draconic Evolution materials from Mystical Agriculture essences. In this pack, Draconium Essence crafts into a Draconium Ingot, and Awakened Draconium Essence crafts into an Awakened Draconium Nugget. The sources list both recipes as changed by the pack.[5]

Productive Bees
Productive Bees has Draconic Evolution bees, and the pack changes how you get them. Each of the three recipes below is a fusion crafting recipe that produces a configurable bee spawn egg. There is one for the Draconium bee, one for the Awakened bee and one for the Chaos bee. The Awakened and Chaos recipes use Draconic Cores, and the Chaos one also needs a Chaotic Core.[5]

Time in a Bottle
The pack adds its own recipe for Time in a Bottle. It's a shaped recipe that takes a Wyvern Pickaxe together with pickaxes from AE2, Just Dire Things and Occultism, so this one pulls in several mods at once.[5]

In the questbook
The quest a quest in "Apothic Spawners" sits in the Apothic Spawners chapter and covers the Stabilized Mob Spawner, which is Draconic Evolution's take on the spawner. According to the quest, using one of this mod's Cores on a spawner turns it into a Stabilized Spawner. You can swap Cores later, but the Cores set the stats, and a better Core means more mobs at a faster rate.[4]
The early quest a quest in "New Beginning" compares this mod with Just Dire Things. It accepts either Draconium Dust or a Just Dire Things tier 1 goo block. The quest text describes Draconic Evolution as being about merging and upgrading blocks, based on The End, while Just Dire Things revolves around goo for converting and creating blocks, items, machines and tools.[3]
Which All the Mons quests use Draconic Evolution?
2 parts
Draconic Evolution appears in the New Beginning chapter and in the Apothic Spawners chapter of the pack's quest book. Each chapter has a single quest for it.[3][4]
New Beginning
In New Beginning you get a quest in "New Beginning", which unlocks after the Steel quest. It accepts either Draconium Dust or Primogel Goo, so you only need one of them to complete it.[3]
The quest text is a quick intro to Draconic Evolution and Just Dire Things. It says Draconic Evolution uses machines and magic to merge and upgrade blocks, and that it is all based on The End. Just Dire Things revolves around using Goo to convert and create new blocks and items, and to make new machines and even tools.[3]
Apothic Spawners
In Apothic Spawners you get a quest in "Apothic Spawners", titled Draconic Evolution's Spawner. The task is to obtain a Stabilized Mob Spawner. It unlocks after another quest in the same chapter.[4]
The quest text explains that the Stabilized Spawner is Draconic Evolution's version of the Spawner. When you use one of the Cores on a Spawner, it becomes a Stabilized Spawner. You can swap the Cores, but you can't change the stats directly, because the Cores set them. The better the Core, the more mobs spawn and the faster they do it.[4]
