AdvancedAE is a mod in All the Mons 1.3.0, where it is version 1.6.12-1.21.1. An AE2 addon that adds a lot of utilities and quality of life. (Summary from the mod's Modrinth page.)

What is AdvancedAE?

3 parts

AdvancedAE is an AE2 addon built around convenience and quality of life for your ME system. This pack includes version 1.6.12 for Minecraft 1.21.1, so everything here assumes you already have an ME network running.[1][2]

What the mod does

  • Advanced Pattern Providers: you encode Processing Patterns with the Advanced Pattern Encoder so each ingredient goes to a chosen face of the target machine. That means no extra pipes for machines that need specific sides.[1][3][4]
  • Quantum Computer: a special crafting unit that can run an unlimited number of crafting tasks as long as it has enough crafting storage, and all tasks share the co-processors. A single Quantum Computer Core works on its own with 256M storage and 8 co-processors.[1][5]
  • Quantum Crafter: a powerful auto crafter that works directly with the ME system's inventory.[1]
  • Quantum Armor: an armor set that connects to your ME system and takes upgrade cards such as flight, night vision, magnet and auto feeding.[1][6]
  • Reaction Chamber: a power hungry machine that makes processing more efficient. The pack's quest book also says it is required for Quantum related recipes in this mod.[1][7]

Where it sits in the quest book

The mod has its own chapter, "Extended & Advanced AE". Both "Reaction Efficency: The Reaction Chamber" quest and "Specific Sided Patterns: The Advanced Pattern Provider" quest come right after the Advanced AE quest there.[7]

After the Reaction Chamber comes "Quantum Ingredients" quest, which covers the ingredients for the Quantum Computer, Crafter and Armor. From there the path splits: "Infinite Crafting Jobs: The Quantum Computer" quest and "ME System As Armor: The Quantum Armor" quest both follow it. The armor upgrades quest "Upgrades for Quantum Armor" quest comes after the armor, while "Co-Processing Oblivion: Quantum Computer Accelerator" quest and "Massive Crafting Storage: The Quantum Computer Storage" quest come after the Quantum Computer. The Quantum Crafter quest "Fully Automated Crafting: The Quantum Crafter" quest follows the accelerator.[7]

The Quantum Armor also has an entry in the "Basic Armor" chapter, "Quantum Armor (AE2)" quest, which asks for the full set: helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots.[8]

The ATM Star path

Yes, the ATM Star path touches this mod. The "The ATM Star" chapter has "Quantum Computer Multi-Threader" quest, which asks for the Quantum Computer Multi-Threader and comes after the Applied Energistics quest. Its text warns that you will need a Crystal Assembler and a whole bunch of Singularities.[9]

How do you get started with AdvancedAE?

4 parts

Advanced AE is an AE2 add-on, so you want a basic ME system running before you start. The big payoff is the Quantum Computer, a crafting computer that can run unlimited crafting jobs while it has storage left, and the pack's quest chapter guides you toward it. Here is the order I'd follow.[7][10]

Step 1: The Reaction Chamber

Start with the Reaction Chamber ("Reaction Efficency: The Reaction Chamber" quest). The quest says it is required for the Quantum-related recipes in Advanced AE, and that it is quite power hungry, so good power generation and energy cells in your ME network are recommended.[7]

Tip: A pattern provider or interface in part form (attached to a cable) does not give the chamber a grid connection. If you power it that way, connect a fluix cable directly to the chamber as well.[11]

Step 2: The quantum ingredients

The "Quantum Ingredients" quest quest covers the materials you need for the Quantum Computer, Crafter and Armor. The Shattered Singularity comes from a reaction in the Reaction Chamber. You will use it in almost everything that follows, so expect to make a lot of Singularities.[7][12]

Reaction (advanced_ae)

Next come Quantum Alloy and Quantum Processor. The alloy needs Quantum Infusion, and the quest explains how to get it.[7][13]

Step 3: Your first Quantum Computer

The "Infinite Crafting Jobs: The Quantum Computer" quest quest asks for Quantum Crafting Unit and Quantum Computer Structural Glass. The pack changed the Quantum Crafting Unit recipe, so follow the one below rather than what you remember from the mod.[7][13]

The Quantum Computer Core needs a storage block and an accelerator, so craft those first. In this pack each Quantum Computer Accelerator adds 12 co-processing threads, and the pack changed its recipe too. The storage quest also says the storage blocks are required to make a core.[7][13]

One core is a quantum computer by itself, with 256M of crafting storage and 12 co-processing threads. Power it through the Up or Down sides, where the connectors are. For more power, build a cuboid multiblock between 3x3x3 and 7x7x7 with the Structural Glass on the outside layer and no empty gaps inside. The Crafting Unit can fill any gaps.[7]

Where to go next

How does AdvancedAE work?

7 parts

AdvancedAE is an AE2 addon built around two ideas: smarter pattern handling and an end-game crafting setup. Here is how each system works, and where the pack changes the mod's defaults.[1][10]

Directional pattern providers

The Advanced Extended Pattern Provider can push each individual ingredient of a pattern to a specific face of the target machine. Machines that need certain inputs on certain sides can then be automated with a single block and no pipes. The guide's example is Mekanism.[4][10]

You teach it with the Advanced Pattern Encoder. Right-click it in hand to open the GUI and put an encoded Processing Pattern in the left slot. The ingredients are listed, and each row has buttons for the block faces it can go to. Leaving the selection on "A" sends the ingredient to whatever face is directly connected to the provider. Picking a face forces insertion there.[3][12]

Watch out: Advanced patterns only decode properly in an advanced provider. In any other provider they behave like a normal pattern. If even one item can't be inserted into its chosen face, nothing is inserted directionally and standard pattern provider behaviour applies instead.[3]

The extended version of the advanced provider holds up to 36 patterns. Upgrade items convert providers you already have, so you don't have to move patterns or upgrades. The Advanced Pattern Provider Upgrade works on regular AE2 providers and ExtendedAE extended providers and keeps their current slot count. The Capacity Upgrade takes a regular provider straight to an advanced one with 36 slots.[4][14]

The pack changes the crafting recipes for both the provider and the encoder, so use the recipes below.[13]

The provider also has a cable-part form, Advanced Extended Pattern Provider. Shapeless recipes convert between the block and the part.[13]

Quantum computer

The quantum computer is a special crafting computer. It can run an unlimited number of crafting requests as long as it has crafting storage left. All of those concurrent tasks share every co-processor in the multiblock, and the whole thing uses a single channel.[1][5][10]

The Quantum Core is the heart of it. The guide gives it 256M of crafting storage and 8 co-processor threads on its own. It is the only block that can form a quantum computer by itself. As a standalone computer it must be powered through its Up or Down sides, where the connectors are. Built into a multiblock, it becomes much more powerful.[5][12]

  • Quantum Storage blocks come in 128M and 256M versions. They add crafting storage and so raise the number of concurrent tasks.[5]
  • The Quantum Computer Accelerator adds co-processor threads. The guide says 8 per block, but the pack sets [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerAcceleratorThreads]] to 12 (mod default 8). That makes each accelerator more valuable here.[5][15]
  • The Quantum Data Entangler multiplies the storage of all storage blocks in the multiblock. The guide says by 4, but the pack sets [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerDataEntanglerMultiplication]] to 6.[5][15]
  • The Quantum Multi-Threader multiplies the co-processing power of the accelerators. The guide says by 4, but the pack sets [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerMultiThreaderMultiplication]] to 6.[5][15]
  • Quantum Structure blocks are the framing that connects everything. They are used in the outside layer of the multiblock.[5][12]

The multiblock has to follow some rules. The maximum external size is 7x7x7, and there can be no empty spaces inside. You can have at most one Data Entangler and at most one Multi-Threader. The pack keeps these limits at the mod defaults: [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerMaxSize]] is 7, and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputermaxDataEntanglers]] and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerMaxMultiThreaders]] are both 1. The mod's project page still mentions a 5x5x5 maximum, but the guide and this pack's config both use 7.[1][5][15]

Crafting the multiblock parts is also changed by the pack. The Quantum Crafting Unit and the Quantum Computer Accelerator both use pack-specific recipes. The Shattered Singularity in the accelerator recipe is produced by a chemical reaction in the Reaction Chamber.[12][13]

This recipe is changed by the pack.

Quantum Crafter

The Quantum Crafter is an auto-crafter with direct access to the whole ME inventory. It can run fluid substitution crafts and recursive crafts, where an input is also an output. Place it in your network and connect it with a cable. It needs a single channel.[1][16]

Encode the recipes you want run indefinitely into crafting patterns and insert them into the crafter. Each pattern has a square button to enable or disable it. The cog button opens the Pattern Configuration UI. There you can set how much of each ingredient to keep inside the ME system at all times, and a maximum amount of the end product so you don't over-craft expensive items. Number fields accept math expressions, and you must press enter to apply them. An output limit of 0 removes the limit, so crafting continues until the inputs run out.[12][16]

By default, outputs go straight into the ME system. The cell button on the left toolbar switches output to adjacent inventories instead, and a second button then lets you choose which sides may auto-export. Recipes that consume durability are not supported, and invalid patterns are highlighted.[12][16]

The crafter accepts upgrade cards. One kind greatly accelerates crafting, reaching 64 crafts of each pattern per tick, and the other allows redstone control. The Quantum Crafter Terminal, and its wireless version, lets you manage all your crafters from one spot.[16][17]

Bus automation

The ME Import Export Bus combines an import and an export bus. Its filter sets the stacks it exports, and anything not on the filter is a valid stack to import.[13][18]

The ME Stock Export Bus exports an exact amount of the filtered stacks. It keeps track of the amount currently present in the target inventory and doesn't insert above that number. Drag an item into the filter slot, then middle-click to set the amount. It will not extract extra items or fluids from the inventory if they go over the configured amount.[12][13][19]

The ME Advanced IO Bus is created by fusing buses together and inherits the functions of both of its parents. Its base speed is 8 times higher than the base speed of the bus the guide compares it to. It takes time to ramp up, but is very fast fully upgraded. Its exports follow the filter up to a fixed amount and then stop. Imports take anything not filtered for export. Import and export operations are counted separately, so the bus will not get stuck doing one or the other.[13][20]

A regulate toggle on the left of the UI changes how it handles excess stock. With it on, the bus prioritizes importing anything over the set amount, and any operations left over go to importing unfiltered items. With it off, exported items are kept even if they are over the filter.[12][20]

Reaction Chamber power

The Reaction Chamber speeds up chemical reactions using a catalyst fluid and a lot of power. Acceleration Cards raise the power required per tick. When drawing from the ME system, it tries to pull one tick of processing power at a time. If that fails, the system's power can flicker on and off. Fix this by adding energy buffers to the AE network, or by using fewer acceleration cards. It can also pull energy from Applied Flux energy cells in your drives.[11]

  • Full block pattern provider: it connects the chamber directly to the AE2 grid so power can be extracted when needed. If the grid's stored power is below the per-tick requirement, progress slows and a warning shows.[11]
  • External power: any source that can push energy should be enough to fill its buffers. A warning appears on the chamber's screen if power arrives at an insufficient rate.[11]
  • Induction Cards (needs Applied Flux): these can be inserted in cable-part or directional pattern providers, letting them export power stored in Energy Cells. They have a ramp-up timer, so crafting speed won't be maxed at first due to lack of stored power.[11]
Watch out: Pattern providers or interfaces in part form (attached to a cable) do not provide a grid connection. To power the chamber with those you will also need to connect a fluix cable directly to it.[11]

There is also a button that flushes the remaining fluid from the machine.[12]

ME Throughput Monitor

The throughput monitor works like a normal monitor and adds a throughput meter. It tracks one item or fluid type, and doesn't need a channel. Right-click with an item, or double-right-click with a fluid container, to set it. Right-click with an empty hand to clear it, and shift-right-click with an empty hand to lock it. The project page says it can also track energy in FE Cells from AppliedFlux.[1][21]

Right-clicking a monitor with the Throughput Monitor Configurator cycles between items per tick, per second and per minute. Readings can take a while to stabilize after you change modes. The pack leaves Miscellaneous.throughputMonitorCacheSize at 80, the mod default. The config says higher values increase precision but make the monitor react more slowly.[15][21]

Quantum armor and the grid

Armor pieces link to your ME system by being inserted into the appropriate slots in a wireless access point. For the extra functionality to work properly, you need to be in range of that access point. After equipping the pieces, press the hotkey (N by default) to open the configuration menu. There you add or remove upgrade cards, toggle them and adjust their settings. Auto Feeding, Auto Stock and Recharging need the link to the grid. Pick Craft tries to craft the block you are currently targeting, and it needs the link plus a pattern that matches the target.[6]

The pack leaves the armor values in the config at the mod defaults. Examples are [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMagnetRange]] at 12, [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxFlightSpeed]] at 10 and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorPercentageDamageAbsorption]] at 30. The damage absorption value is still limited by the energy buffer in the equipment.[15]

How do you progress through AdvancedAE?

6 parts

Advanced AE is an end-game add-on for your ME system, and this pack lays it out as a quest chain. The sources don't define formal tiers, so this guide groups the steps by the order the quests unlock them. You start with the Reaction Chamber, move on to the Quantum ingredients, and then the path splits into the Quantum Computer line and the Quantum Armor line.[7][10]

Step 1: Reaction Chamber

Your first stop is "Reaction Efficency: The Reaction Chamber" quest. The Reaction Chamber speeds up in-world reactions using a catalyst fluid and a lot of power, and it makes them more efficient so you get more material out. The quest recommends good power generation and energy cells on your ME network. It is also required for the Quantum related recipes in this mod.[7]

Step 2: Quantum ingredients

"Quantum Ingredients" quest asks for three things: Shattered Singularity, Quantum Alloy and Quantum Processor. The quest says these feed the Quantum Computer, the Quantum Crafter and the Quantum Armor. It also covers Quantum Infusion, which is part of the alloy process.[7][13]

Step 3: The Quantum Computer

"Infinite Crafting Jobs: The Quantum Computer" quest unlocks the Quantum Computer, a crafting CPU that can run unlimited crafting jobs and share co-processing threads between them, as long as it has storage free. As a multiblock it must be a cuboid from 3x3x3 up to 7x7x7. The outer layer has to be Quantum Computer Structural Glass, and no glass is allowed inside. Gaps can be filled with Quantum Crafting Unit.[7]

The pack changed the Quantum Crafting Unit recipe, along with the Accelerator, Data Entangler and Multi-Threader recipes. Check the recipe blocks below rather than relying on the mod's defaults.[13]

  1. Build Quantum Computer Accelerator blocks ("Co-Processing Oblivion: Quantum Computer Accelerator" quest). Each one adds 12 co-processing threads, and every job shares them.[7]
  2. Build storage ("Massive Crafting Storage: The Quantum Computer Storage" quest): 128M Quantum Computer Storage and 256M Quantum Computer Storage. The quest says you need storage to make the core.[7]
  3. Craft the Quantum Computer Core ("Heart of the Crafts: Quantum Computer Core" quest). It has 256M crafting storage and 12 co-processing threads, and it can form a Quantum Computer by itself when powered through its Up or Down sides.[7]
  4. Optionally, add the Quantum Crafter ("Fully Automated Crafting: The Quantum Crafter" quest), a configurable auto-crafter. It will not accept requests from Pattern Providers.[7]

Step 4: Scaling up

Once you have the core, two multipliers open up. Both quests also need the Crystal Assembler quest done first. The Quantum Data Entangler ("Unnecessarily Large Storage: Quantum Data Entangler" quest) multiplies crafting storage by 6, so a 256M storage block becomes 1.5G. The Quantum Computer Multi-Threader ("Co-Processing To Infinity: Quantum Computer Multi-Threader" quest) multiplies co-processing threads by 6, so one Accelerator gives 72. You can have only one of each per multiblock. In this pack both are made in the Crystal Assembler.[7][13]

Quantum Data EntanglerChanged by the pack

Crystal Assembler (extendedae)

Recipe id: advanced_ae:eaequantumdataentangler

The Multi-Threader is also an ingredient for the ATM Star, and the ATM Star chapter has its own quest for it.[7][9]

The final quest, "The Ultimate Quantum Computer" quest, shows a thread-focused build: 218 Structural Glass, 123 Accelerators, 1 core and 1 Multi-Threader, for 8,928 co-processing threads in total. It skips extra storage because the core's 256M is plenty for that build.[7]

The Quantum Armor branch

"ME System As Armor: The Quantum Armor" quest also unlocks right after the ingredients. The set (Quantum Helmet, Quantum Chestplate, Quantum Leggings and Quantum Boots) has default stats similar to Netherite. Like the MekaSuit, it can use energy as a shield. It can be linked to your storage system, and wearing the full set can prevent radiation from killing you.[6][7]

The pack changed this recipe, and the other armor pieces below have changed recipes too, so check each block before you plan the build.

Upgrades start with "Upgrades for Quantum Armor" quest and the Quantum Upgrade Base Card, which is the base ingredient for the cards. Open the Quantum Armor Configuration Menu with N by default to install them.[6][7]

"Specific Sided Patterns: The Advanced Pattern Provider" quest covers the Advanced Pattern Provider. It lets you pick which face of a machine each ingredient is sent to, which helps with machines like Mekanism's Metallurgic Infuser. You encode those patterns with the Advanced Pattern Encoder. The pack changed both the Encoder recipe and the Advanced Extended Pattern Provider recipe. The extended version of the provider can hold up to 36 patterns.[4][7][13]

How does AdvancedAE work with other mods?

5 parts

AdvancedAE is an AE2 addon, so most of its recipes lean on AE2 parts. In this pack it also reaches into ExtendedAE, All the Modium, AE2WTLib and a few other mods. Here's where those connections show up.[1][13]

AE2 and ExtendedAE

The Quantum Processor is made from AE2 materials in an inscriber, and an ExtendedAE Crystal Assembler version of the same recipe also exists. The pack adds its own way to make the Printed Quantum Circuit, using the Inscriber Universal Press.[13]

The Advanced Extended Pattern Provider upgrades a standard Pattern Provider or ExtendedAE's ME Extended Pattern Provider, and the pack changed its recipe (shown below). The upgrade items work on regular AE2 Pattern Providers and on ExtendedAE's Extended Pattern Providers. The Advanced Pattern Provider Capacity Upgrade turns a regular provider straight into an Advanced one with 36 pattern slots, and the pack changed that recipe too.[4][13][14]

Mekanism

The Advanced Pattern Provider is aimed squarely at Mekanism machines. It lets you choose which face each ingredient goes into, so something like the Metallurgic Infuser can be automated with one block and no pipes or subnet. You set the faces with the Advanced Pattern Encoder, whose recipe the pack changed.[4][7][13]

All the Modium

The Quantum Armor is tied to All the Modium gear in this pack. The pack changed the armor recipes and the Strength Card recipe. The two recipes below show where the Unobtainium Helmet and the Vibranium Sword fit in.[13]

Which All the Mons quests use AdvancedAE?

4 parts

Most of the AdvancedAE quests sit in the Extended & Advanced AE chapter, where the first quests unlock after that chapter's Advanced AE quest. Three other chapters touch the mod too. They are covered at the end.[7][8][9][22]

Starting out: Extended & Advanced AE

  1. "Reaction Efficency: The Reaction Chamber" quest asks for the Reaction Chamber. The quest warns that it is power hungry, so plan good power generation and energy cells. It is also required for the Quantum recipes.[7]
  2. "Specific Sided Patterns: The Advanced Pattern Provider" quest also unlocks straight after Advanced AE. It asks for the Advanced Pattern Encoder alongside a second task item. The Advanced Pattern Provider lets you pick which face each pattern item is sent to, and the Encoder is how you set that.[7]
  3. "Quantum Ingredients" quest comes after the Reaction Chamber quest. It asks for Shattered Singularity, Quantum Alloy and Quantum Processor, which the quest says you need for the Quantum Computer, Crafter and Armor.[7]

The Quantum Computer line

"Infinite Crafting Jobs: The Quantum Computer" quest comes after Quantum Ingredients. It asks for the Quantum Crafting Unit and Quantum Computer Structural Glass. The quest explains the multiblock shape: a cuboid from 3x3x3 up to 7x7x7. It also says a single Quantum Computer Core can work as a Quantum Computer by itself.[7]

  1. "Co-Processing Oblivion: Quantum Computer Accelerator" quest asks for the Quantum Computer Accelerator. Each one adds 12 co-processing threads to the multiblock.[7]
  2. "Massive Crafting Storage: The Quantum Computer Storage" quest is unlocked by the same Quantum Computer quest and asks for 128M Quantum Computer Storage and 256M Quantum Computer Storage. The quest says they are also required to make a Quantum Computer Core.[7]
  3. "Fully Automated Crafting: The Quantum Crafter" quest comes after the Accelerator quest and asks for the Quantum Crafter. It is an auto-crafter, but the quest notes it won't accept crafting requests from Pattern Providers.[7]
  4. "Heart of the Crafts: Quantum Computer Core" quest needs both the Accelerator and Storage quests. It asks for the Quantum Computer Core, which the quest describes as having 256M crafting storage and 12 co-processing threads by itself.[7]
  5. "Unnecessarily Large Storage: Quantum Data Entangler" quest asks for the Quantum Data Entangler. It follows the Core quest and also needs the Complex Crafter: The Crystal Assembler quest. The quest says it multiplies crafting storage in the multiblock by 6, and you can only have one.[7]
  6. "Co-Processing To Infinity: Quantum Computer Multi-Threader" quest asks for the Quantum Computer Multi-Threader and has the same two prerequisites as the Data Entangler. It multiplies co-processing threads by 6, so one Accelerator gives 72 threads with it in place. The quest also notes that it is an ingredient for the ATM Star.[7]
  7. "The Ultimate Quantum Computer" quest follows the Multi-Threader quest. It asks for the Structural Glass, Accelerator, Core and Multi-Threader. Its text describes a thread-focused build of 218 Structural Glass, 123 Accelerators, 1 Core and 1 Multi-Threader, for a total of 8,928 co-processing threads. It calls the Data Entangler quest optional.[7]

Quantum Armor and its upgrade cards

"ME System As Armor: The Quantum Armor" quest also comes after Quantum Ingredients. It asks for the full set: Quantum Helmet, Quantum Chestplate, Quantum Leggings and Quantum Boots. The quest says the armor can use Energy as a shield, can link to your storage system, and that wearing the full set can prevent Radiation from killing you.[7]

Next is "Upgrades for Quantum Armor" quest, which asks for the Quantum Upgrade Base Card. Every card quest in the chapter unlocks from it.[7]

Tip: To install upgrades, open the Quantum Armor Configuration Menu with its keybind, which is N by default.[7]

Two cards are gated further. The Evasion Card quest (+30% Evasion Chance) needs the quests for the Swim Speed, Walk Speed, Sprint Speed and Attack Speed cards. The Flight Drift Card quest (No Flight Drift) comes after the Flight Card quest.[7]

Quests in other chapters

The Basic Armor chapter has "Quantum Armor (AE2)" quest, which asks for the same Quantum Armor set. No prerequisite is listed for it.[7][8]

The ATM Star chapter has "Quantum Computer Multi-Threader" quest, which comes after its Applied Energistics quest and asks for the Multi-Threader. Its text points you toward a Crystal Assembler and says you'll need a whole bunch of Singularities.[9]

The Industrial Foregoing chapter has "Automating the Potion Brewer" quest, an AE2 automation guide for the Potion Brewer. It asks for the Advanced Pattern Encoder and an Export Bus, and it sends you back to the Extended & Advanced AE chapter to learn about the Advanced Pattern Provider. It uses the provider's per-side item routing and its Filtered Import option.[22]

Which AdvancedAE config options matter?

4 parts

Good news: you only have a handful of AdvancedAE options to think about in this pack. All of them live in [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerAcceleratorThreads]]'s file, config/advanced_ae-common.toml, and the pack changed three of them, all for the Quantum Computer.[15]

Quantum Computer: what the pack changed

  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerAcceleratorThreads]] is 12 in this pack. The mod default is 8, and the allowed range is 4 to 16. It sets the threads per Quantum Computer Accelerator.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerDataEntanglerMultiplication]] is 6 in this pack, up from the mod default of 4. The allowed range is 2 to 8.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerMultiThreaderMultiplication]] is 6 in this pack, up from the mod default of 4. The allowed range is 2 to 8.[15]
Watch out: The mod's project page describes the Quantum Data Entangler and Quantum Multi-Threader as multiplying by 4. That is the mod default. This pack sets both multiplication factors to 6, so don't plan around the 4 you may have read elsewhere.[1][15]

Quantum Computer: values left at default

The size and component limits are unchanged. [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerMaxSize]] is 7 (allowed range 5 to 12). [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputermaxDataEntanglers]] and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum computer.quantumComputerMaxMultiThreaders]] are both 1 (allowed range 1 to 2).[15]

Quantum Armor

Every Quantum Armor option in this pack is at the mod default, so nothing there was rebalanced. These are the values you are most likely to look up:[15]

  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorPercentageDamageAbsorption]] is 30. It is the maximum percentage of incoming damage the armor absorbs, and it is still limited by the energy buffer in the equipment.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorEvasionChance]] is 30, a 30% chance for the evasion card.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorHpBuffer]] is 20 for the HP Buffer card.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMagnetRange]] is 12 for the magnet card's maximum range.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxFlightSpeed]] is 10, [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxJumpHeight]] is 3, and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxStepHeight]] is 3.[15]
  • [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxWalkSpeed]] is 60, [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxSprintSpeed]] is 80, and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorSwimSpeedBoost]] is 80. These speed values are divided by 10 before use.[15]

The remaining armor options are also at default: [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorAttackSpeedBoost]] is 5, [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorLuckBoost]] is 2, [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorMaxReachBoost]] is 5, [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorStrengthBoost]] is 10, and [[config:config/advanced_ae-common.toml#quantum armor.quantumArmorRenegerationPerTick]] is 10 (divided by 10 before use).[15]

Throughput Monitor

Miscellaneous.throughputMonitorCacheSize is 80, the mod default, with an allowed range of 40 to 400. It only affects the "Per minute" and "Per 10 minutes" configurations. Higher values make the readout more precise but slower to react to changes.[15]

What changed in AdvancedAE between versions?

1 part

All the Mons 1.3.0 ships AdvancedAE 1.6.12 for Minecraft 1.21.1. The mod has been in the pack since 0.3.0-beta or earlier. I don't have any pack changelog entries for this mod, so what follows comes from the mod's own changelogs for the last few releases.[2]

Recent mod releases

  • 1.6.11: Fixed the quantum crafter using its output space as an intermediate step before pushing to ME Storage. This fixes some item voiding in setups with high output (issue #244).[23]
  • 1.6.10: Fixed the auto stock menu not being able to change the amounts of items that were already in it (issue #273).[24]
  • 1.6.9: Added extra client side checks for player events.[25]
Tip: If you run a quantum crafter into ME Storage with a high output, the 1.6.11 fix matters to you. The pack's 1.6.12 is newer, so it already includes that fix.[2][23]

Unverified The changelog entry for AdvancedAE 1.6.12, the version in this pack, lists no changes in the material I have, so I can't say what that release changed.
