What is Blood Magic?
2 parts
Blood Magic is an arcane art built around a forbidden material: blood. It grants a huge amount of power, but the mod warns that every action with this volatile magic can prove deadly. The pack includes version 3.3.8-50.[1][2]
The core loop starts simple. You build a Blood Altar and a Sacrificial Knife, then use them to generate LP from self-sacrifice. You spend that LP on a Weak Blood Orb, several Blank Slates and a few Soul Snares. From there you upgrade the altar tier by tier, up to Tier Five, which is the top tier.[3]
Where it sits in the quest book
The pack's quest book has a "Blood Magic" chapter in the Production group.[4]
It opens with "Welcome to Blood Magic" quest, which leads straight into a quest in "Blood Magic", the quest for the Blood Altar and Sacrificial Knife that the mod's own guide gives as the first step. From the altar the chapter branches out: "Blood Altar II" quest, a quest in "Blood Magic", "Slates" quest, a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic" all come directly after it.[3][4]
- The altar line runs "Blood Altar II" quest, "Blood Altar III" quest, "Blood Altar IV" quest, then "Blood Altar V" quest. The Tier V quest asks for Hellforged Block and comes after a quest in "Blood Magic". The mod's guide calls Tier Five the top altar tier.[3][4]
- Rituals start from a quest in "Blood Magic" and "Ritual Diviner" quest, then continue with a quest in "Blood Magic". In the mod's guide a ritual needs a Master Ritual Stone, an Activation Crystal and ideally a Ritual Diviner, and the Dusk diviner comes with Tier 4. "Edge of the Hidden Realm" quest follows the activation crystal quest and asks for Saturated Tau, which the guide ties to the Edge of the Hidden Realm.[3][4][5]
- The orbs run from a quest in "Blood Magic" through a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic" to a quest in "Blood Magic". The Tartaric Gems and the Sentient Sword follow from the Soul Snare and Hellfire Forge quests, matching the guide's note that Demon Will from a Soul Snare unlocks a Petty Tartaric Gem and a Sentient Sword.[3][4][6]
After the Tier V altar quest "Blood Altar V" quest, the chapter carries on with a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic", then the tier card quests: a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic". The mod's own guide calls Tier Five the top altar tier.[3][4]
Beyond its own chapter
Blood Magic is not on the ATM Star quest path. One of its items does show up elsewhere: the AllTheModium chapter (also in the Production group) has the quest a quest in "AllTheModium", which asks for a Bucket of Life, and it is one of the quests that lead into the Vibranium Ingot quest.[7]
How do you get started with Blood Magic?
5 parts
Welcome to Blood Magic! In this pack the quest book puts it in the Production group. It opens with "Welcome to Blood Magic" quest, and the next quests branch off the Blood Altar quest. Here is the order I'd go in, following the mod's own overview.[3][4]
First: Blood Altar and Sacrificial Knife
The first step is to build a Blood Altar and a Sacrificial Knife, then use them to generate LP by self-sacrificing. The quest a quest in "Blood Magic" asks for both items. Here is the altar recipe:[3][4]
Crafting Shaped
| any stone | Empty slot | any stone |
| any stone | any stone | |
| any gold ingot | any gold ingot | any gold ingot |
Recipe id: bloodmagic:blood_altar
The pack's config gives defaultSacrificeValue as 25 LP per HP sacrificed for any entity without its own entry. Entries in sacrificialValues override that, for example 100 for villagers and cows and 15 for slimes.[8]
Second: spend your first LP
The altar is where your first LP goes: the mod's guide points you to a Weak Blood Orb, some Blank Slate and a few Soul Snare. The quest book has separate quests for the a quest in "Blood Magic", the a quest in "Blood Magic" and the "Slates" quest.[3][4]
This pack also adds a shapeless recipe that turns a Blank Rune into a Blank Slate:[9]
Third: Alchemy Table and your first array
The Alchemy Table crafts using LP from a player's Soul Network, drawn from the bound Blood Orb in it. It makes things like Arcane Ashes, reagents for sigils and anointments, and it doubles ores. Start with the ashes:[3][10]
Alchemytable (bloodmagic)
- any redstone dust
- any white dye
- any gunpowder
- any coal
Recipe id: bloodmagic:alchemytable/arcane_ash
Drawing an Alchemy Array with the ashes costs 1 of the ashes' 20 durability. After that you click the array with two items, a base and then a catalyst, and it crafts an item or does something. A good first one is the Divination Sigil:[3][11]
Fourth: Demon Will and the Hellfire Forge
Throw Soul Snares at hostile mobs. White particles appear around a hit mob, and when you kill it, it drops Demon Will. Looting increases the amount. Craft the Hellfire Forge next, since it handles things directly tied to Demon Will, like Tartaric Gems and Sentient Tools.[3][12]
The quest a quest in "Blood Magic" asks for 3 Petty Tartaric Gem, and it comes after both the forge and the snare quests. Then make a Sentient Sword, which along with the gem makes collecting Will much easier.[4][12]
Soulforge (bloodmagic)
- any redstone dust
- any lapi gems
- any glass
- any gold ingot

Next up
From here the book branches. "Blood Altar II" quest is the next altar upgrade, which fits the guide's advice to keep upgrading your altar. "Improving Self Sacrifice" quest asks for a Rune of Self Sacrifice and an Incense Altar. On the orb side, a quest in "Blood Magic" follows the Weak Blood Orb.[3][4]

How does Blood Magic work?
10 parts
Sigils and rituals both run on LP, which is drawn from your Soul Network. This section walks through the systems that move that LP around, and flags where this pack changes things.[13][14]
Alchemy Arrays
Arrays are circles drawn on the ground with Arcane Ashes. Drawing one uses 1 durability out of 20 and gives you an array that does nothing yet. Click it with a base item first (the design changes if the base is valid), then with a catalyst, and the array activates. Each click consumes a single item from your stack. The guide notes that only a few arrays are currently implemented.[11]

- any redstone dust
- any white dye
- any gunpowder
- any coal
Recipe id: bloodmagic:alchemytable/arcane_ash
Arcane Ashes are made in the Alchemy Table.
Crafting arrays inscribe the base item onto the catalyst. Sigils are made this way: an array, some form of Reagent and a Slate. Once made, they draw LP from your Soul Network whenever they do their job. The Air Sigil is a good example.[13][15][16]
Alchemy Table
The Alchemy Table crafts using LP from a Soul Network. The Blood Orb in the slot on the right side of its GUI decides which network is used and which tier of recipes you can run. It also provides alternate recipes for some vanilla items.[17]

For automation, the in-game guide describes six buttons on the right side of the table: Down, Up, North, South, West and East. They let you choose which faces allow hoppers, pipes and similar blocks to interact, and you set them per slot.[17]
- In the guide's example, you click the slot you want to configure, which is the central finished item slot.[17]
- Then you click one of the six face buttons, which toggles whether that face allows outside inputs or outputs for that slot.[17]
- Clicking the slot again deselects it and returns the table to its normal function. The icon in the slot shows whether it accepts inputs or provides outputs.[17]
The guide names two common reasons a recipe will not run, and the table tells you when something is wrong. One is an orb error (no orb, or an orb of too low a level). The other is a Soul Network error (the orb is not bound to you, which you do by right-clicking with it, or the network lacks LP).[17]
Blood Altar and runes
The Blood Altar converts raw blood into pure Life Essence and grows in size and strength as you progress. Its default capacity can be raised with Runes of Capacity and Runes of Augmented Capacity. Charging Runes store LP. The Seer's Sigil shows the altar's tier, stored blood, capacity, crafting progress, LP use per tick and the stored LP of any Charging Runes. The Divination Sigil shows a simpler readout.[20][21][22]
This pack makes Blank Slate at the altar from anything in the stone tag. The recipe file lists an upgrade level of 0, an altarSyphon of 1,000, and a consumption rate and drain rate of 10 each.[23]
The pack also adds its own altar recipes through script. A few examples:[24]
- Compressed Slate is made from a compressed stone block at upgrade level 1, with an altarSyphon of 9,000 and rates of 90.[24]
- Zahraanite is made from an Awakened Supremium Ingot at upgrade level 4, with an altarSyphon of 20,000 and rates of 2,500.[24]
- Large Bloodstone Brick becomes a Blood Altar tier card at upgrade level 2, with an altarSyphon of 200,000, a consumption rate of 20,000 and a drain rate of 200,000.[24]
Runes are crafted blocks, and the pack lets you recycle some of them. Shapeless recipes turn a Blank Rune back into a Blank Slate, and an Acceleration Rune into a Demonic Slate. A Speed Rune gives 2 Blank Slates.[25]

Sigil LP costs in this pack
The pack's config sets what each sigil costs. Some charge per use, and others charge upkeep every 5 seconds while active.[8]
- Per use: Air sigil_cost.air is 50, Blood Lamp sigil_cost.blood_light is 10, Water sigil_cost.water is 100, Lava sigil_cost.lava is 1000, Void sigil_cost.void is 50 and Teleposition sigil_cost.teleposition is 1000.[8]
- Upkeep every 5 seconds: Fast Miner sigil_cost.fast_miner is 100, Frost sigil_cost.frost is 100, Green Grove sigil_cost.green_grove is 150, Magnetism sigil_cost.magnetism is 50 and Suppression sigil_cost.suppression is 400.[8]
Safety notes: if you cannot pay for the Water Sigil, it takes the toll from your health instead. The Lava Sigil drains 5 hearts if your network is short.[18][19]
Feeding the Soul Network
Sacrifice values are set in the config. sacrificialDaggerConversion is 100 LP per damage dealt with the Sacrificial Dagger. defaultSacrificeValue is 25 LP per HP sacrificed for any entity not listed individually. A value of 0 blacklists an entity.[8]
sacrificialValues gives 100 for villager, cow, chicken, horse, sheep, wolf, ocelot, pig and rabbit, 15 for slime, and 10 for enderman. The target dummy is set to 0. wellOfSuffering also lists the target dummy to stop it being used in the Well of Suffering.[8]
Rituals and the Geode Ritual
Rituals consume LP from your Soul Network. Simpler ones are available with a Tier III Blood Altar, and the advanced ones need Dusk Runes and a Tier IV Altar. You assemble them with a Ritual Diviner, activate them with an Activation Crystal and fine-tune them with a Ritual Tinkerer.[14][26]
In this pack the dungeon-spawning ritual is not limited to Creative Activation Crystals, because makeDungeonRitualCreativeOnly is false.[8]
The Geode Ritual is tuned in the same config file. These are the values this pack sets:[8]
- [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.activation_cost]] is 50,000.[8]
- [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.max_budding_blocks]] is 7, within an allowed range of 1 to 15.[8]
- [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.max_harmed]] is 8.[8]
- [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.hurt_damage]] is 2.[8]
- [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_raw_will]], [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_corrosive_will]], [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_destructive_will]], [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_steadfast_will]] and [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_vengeful_will]] are each 50.[8]

Potion Flasks
Flasks hold 8 doses. You can stack effects by using a finished flask in place of an empty one in the next brew. Power Catalysts boost the topmost effect while shortening it, and Lengthening Catalysts extend it. The Standard Lengthening Catalyst takes the topmost effect from 3:00 to 21:20. The Standard Power Catalyst allows up to level III at 45 seconds per dose.[29]

Living Equipment, anointments and routing
Living Equipment starts with Upgrade Points to spend on training. In this pack default_upgrade_points is 100 and evolved_upgrade_points is 300. Upgrade Tomes teach the chestplate one level of a skill, and the Training Bracelet can track up to 16 upgrades and cap their levels.[8][27][31][32]
Anointments are applied by pressing a key with the anointment in one hand and the item in the other, or through a smithing table, where the anointment acts as the template. They wear off with use rather than over time. For example, Fortuna Extract lasts 256 blocks, and upgraded versions last 1,024 or 4,096.[33][34]
Blood Magic also has its own item routing network with a range of filters, as an alternative to hoppers. This pack's recipe dump does not cover routing nodes in detail, so check the in-game guide chapter for those.[35]
Meteors
The pack defines three meteor recipes, each with its own syphon value:[36][37][38]
How do you progress through Blood Magic?
8 parts
Blood Magic starts with the Blood Altar, and the "Blood Magic" quest chapter in the Production group of the quest book starts you there too: a "Welcome to Blood Magic" checkmark, then the altar quest. Everything below follows that chapter.[3][4]
Tier 1: the altar and your first tools
The in-game guide says the first step is to build a Blood Altar and a Sacrificial Knife, and the first real quest, a quest in "Blood Magic", asks for both the Blood Altar and the Sacrificial Knife. Here is how the altar is crafted in this pack.[3][4][9]

The in-game guide says to use the altar and knife to generate LP from self-sacrifice, then spend that LP on a Weak Blood Orb, several Blank Slates and a few Soul Snares. The quest book mirrors this. Five quests unlock straight after the altar: Blood Altar II, Soul Snare, Slates, Hellfire Forge and Weak Blood Orb.[3][4]
Two more tier 1 tools matter early. The Alchemy Table draws LP from the bound Blood Orb in it and makes things like Arcane Ashes, sigil reagents and anointments. Alchemy Arrays are drawn with Arcane Ashes and take two items, which can craft something like a Divination Sigil. The guide itself warns that Blood Magic 3's progression is still being reworked.[3][11]
Added by the pack.
Slates and Blood Orbs
Slates are the backbone of the mod. Each tier needs the previous tier and a stronger altar. The quest book follows that order: Blank Slate, then Reinforced Slate, Imbued Slate, Demonic Slate and finally Ethereal Slate.[4][39]
The quest book asks for the orbs in a chain: Weak Blood Orb, Apprentice Blood Orb, Magician's Blood Orb, Master Blood Orb and Archmage's Blood Orb. Here are the two altar recipes shown for the orbs.[4][9]

Altar tiers II to V
Each higher altar tier has its own quest, and each one asks for more filter items than the last.[4]
- "Blood Altar II" quest comes right after the altar quest and asks you to hand in 8 of an "or" filter item. "Improving Self Sacrifice" quest then asks for a Rune of Self Sacrifice and an Incense Altar. The rune's recipe is shown below.[4][9]
- "Blood Altar III" quest asks you to hand in 4 Glowstone and 20 filter items. Reaching tier 3 is also what opens up rituals, covered below.[4][5]
- "Blood Altar IV" quest asks for 4 Large Bloodstone Brick and 28 filter items. The quest book also places the Sanguine Reverter quest before it.[4][9]
- "Blood Altar V" quest asks for 4 Hellforged Block and 52 filter items. The quest book places it after both Blood Altar IV and the quest for 36 Hellforged Ingot.[4][9]

After tier V it asks for a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic", and the tier cards continue with a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic".[4]
Rituals open at tier 3
Once your altar is tier 3, the guide says rituals open up. At that tier only the Weak Crystal is available, and you also need a Master Ritual Stone and, ideally, a Ritual Diviner. The quest book matches this: a quest in "Blood Magic" asks for the Master Ritual Stone and the Weak Activation Crystal, and "Ritual Diviner" quest asks for the four elemental inscription tools plus the Ritual Diviner.[4][5]

Hellfire Forge and Demon Will
The Hellfire Forge runs on Demon Will, and your first Will comes from Soul Snares. In the quest book, a quest in "Blood Magic" asks for 3 Petty Tartaric Gem and follows both the forge and the snare. a quest in "Blood Magic" comes after it, and the gem line continues Lesser, Common, Greater.[3][4]

The chapter also has a "Custom Meteor Rituals" quest, plus a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic" for the Foreman's Key and Miner's Key. The pack ships its own meteor recipes for Demonite, Hellforged and Draconium. They have a syphon of 1,000,000, 10,000,000 and 5,000,000 respectively. The Demonite meteor takes Demonite as its input and fills its rock layer with Demonite at a weight of 250.[4][36][37][38]
Living Armour
Living Equipment needs at least a Common Tartaric Gem to hold the Demon Will it requires. It starts at Iron-level protection with 100 Upgrade Points to spend on training. The pack changed the recipe for the Living Armour Training Bracelet.[9][27]

Where it connects to other chapters
Blood Magic also shows up in other quest chapters. In the EndGame chapter, a quest in "EndGame" is placed after Infinity 3 and a Blood Altar quest that asks you for the Blood Altar. In the AllTheModium chapter, a quest in "AllTheModium" is placed after the quest that asks for the Bucket of Life, among others.[7][9][41]
How does Blood Magic work with other mods?
5 parts
Blood Magic items turn up in a lot of other mods' recipes in this pack. Most of them are late-game crafts, but a few everyday machine recipes were also changed to take Blood Magic ingredients. Here is where the two sides meet.[9]
Everyday crossovers
- The pack changed the Alchemy Table recipe for Corrupted Dust: with any coal dust it gives 3 Coal Dust.[9]
- The pack also changed the Alchemy Table recipe for the Lava Sigil: with any cobblestone it gives 4 Sulfur Dust.[9]
- The pack adds a shapeless recipe that turns one Compressed Slate into 9 Blank Slate. A Blank Slate is also an ingredient in the Wrench.[9]
- A Thermal Crystallizer recipe added by the pack uses Blood Magic's Life Essence fluid as one input to make 4 Crimson Iron Ingot.[42]
- The Blood Collector Upgrade is crafted in the Hellfire Forge (Hellfire Forge), using a Woot part together with Blood Magic ingredients.[9]

The pack also changed the Avaritia infinity tool and armor recipes. The Sentient Sword, Sentient Pickaxe, Sentient Axe and Sentient Shovel are ingredients in the matching infinity tool, and the Living Chestplate is an ingredient in the Infinity Chestplate.[9]
Blood Altar add-on items
The pack adds a set of Blood Altar add-on items. The Blood Assembler is crafted at an Extended Crafting table and mixes the Blood Altar and runes with parts from other mods. The Blood Altar Tier Card II comes from an altar recipe that starts from a Large Bloodstone Brick. The Blood Generator is a huge recipe: it takes the Master Blood Orb, slates and reinforced runes, plus ingots and parts from many other mods.[9]

Meteors and Draconic Evolution
The pack changed Blood Magic's meteor recipes. The draconium meteor takes a Compressed Awakened Draconium Block as its input, has a syphon of 5,000,000, and fills the meteor with Draconic Evolution ores. Its rarest entry is the Awakened Draconium Block, at weight 7.[37]
There is also a hellforged meteor with a syphon of 10,000,000. Its input is a Compressed Hellforgedparts, which the pack lets you craft from Intricate Hellforged Parts.[9][38]

In the quest book
The Blood Magic chapter sits in the Production group, as chapter 29 of 44, with 45 quests. The add-on items come late in it. The a quest in "Blood Magic" quest follows "Blood Altar III" quest. The a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic" quests follow "Blood Altar IV" quest. a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic" follow "Blood Altar V" quest, and the tier card quests continue from there. a quest in "Blood Magic" comes after "Improving Self Sacrifice" quest.[4]
The AllTheModium chapter (Production group, chapter 36 of 44) also has the a quest in "AllTheModium" quest, which asks for the Bucket of Life. Part of that chapter's quest text is not shown here, so check the quest book for the rest.[7]
Which Project Infinity 0.1 quests use Blood Magic?
5 parts
The pack's quest book gives Blood Magic its own chapter, in the Production group (chapter 29 of 44). Two other chapters each ask for one Blood Magic item, covered at the end.[4][7][41]
The Blood Magic chapter
The chapter opens with "Welcome to Blood Magic" quest, a simple checkmark. a quest in "Blood Magic" follows and asks you to hand in the Blood Altar and the Sacrificial Knife. Many later quests list it as a prerequisite.[4]
Altar tiers
- "Blood Altar II" quest comes after the first altar quest and asks for 8 of an OR item filter.[4]
- "Blood Altar III" quest asks for 4 Glowstone plus 20 of an OR item filter.[4]
- "Blood Altar IV" quest asks for 4 Large Bloodstone Brick plus 28 of an OR item filter. The book places it after Blood Altar III and a quest in "Blood Magic".[4]
- "Blood Altar V" quest asks for 4 Hellforged Block plus 52 of an OR item filter. The book places it after a quest in "Blood Magic" and Blood Altar IV.[4]
Orbs, slates and gems
The orb quests run in this order: a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic". Each asks for the matching orb, starting with the Weak Blood Orb and ending with the Archmage's Blood Orb.[4]
The slate quests start with "Slates" quest, which asks for the Blank Slate. They continue with a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic".[4]
For the gem quests, the book first asks for a quest in "Blood Magic" (Hellfire Forge) and a quest in "Blood Magic" (Soul Snare). Both come before a quest in "Blood Magic", which asks for 3 Petty Tartaric Gem. The next quests in order are a quest in "Blood Magic", a quest in "Blood Magic" and a quest in "Blood Magic". a quest in "Blood Magic" also follows the Petty gem quest.[4]
Self sacrifice and rituals
"Improving Self Sacrifice" quest comes after Blood Altar II and asks for the Rune of Self Sacrifice and the Incense Altar. a quest in "Blood Magic" comes after it.[4]
The ritual quests come after an untitled checkmark quest. a quest in "Blood Magic" asks for the Master Ritual Stone and the Weak Activation Crystal. "Ritual Diviner" quest asks for the Water, Earth, Air and Fire inscription tools plus the Ritual Diviner. a quest in "Blood Magic" then asks for the Ritual Diviner [Dusk] and the Inscription Tool: Dusk.[4]
"Edge of the Hidden Realm" quest comes after the Weak Activation Crystal quest and asks for Saturated Tau. a quest in "Blood Magic" follows it and asks for the Weak Blood Shard and the Sanguine Reverter.[4]
Another untitled checkmark quest leads to a quest in "Blood Magic" (Foreman's Key) and then a quest in "Blood Magic" (Miner's Key). It also leads to "Custom Meteor Rituals" quest, a checkmark quest, and to a quest in "Blood Magic", which asks for 36 Hellforged Ingot.[4]
Blood Magic in other chapters
- In the AllTheModium chapter, a quest in "AllTheModium" asks for the Bucket of Life. It has no prerequisite and is listed before a quest in "AllTheModium".[7]
- In the EndGame chapter (Storyline group), a quest in "EndGame" asks for the Blood Altar and has no prerequisite. It is listed, together with Infinity 3, before a quest in "EndGame".[41]
Which Blood Magic config options matter?
5 parts
Blood Magic keeps its settings in two files in this pack: a common file that covers LP costs, sacrifice values and rituals, and a client file for display and hotbar behaviour. Here are the options you are most likely to touch.[8][43]
Sacrifice and LP gain
- defaultSacrificeValue is 25. It is the LP gained per HP sacrificed for any entity without its own entry. The file lists 25 as the default too, so the pack leaves it alone.[8]
- sacrificialDaggerConversion is 100. It is the LP the Sacrificial Dagger gives for each damage dealt, and the file lists 100 as the default as well.[8]
- sacrificialValues sets per-entity values in the form entity;value. In this pack villager, cow, chicken, horse, sheep, wolf, ocelot, pig and rabbit are all 100, slime is 15 and enderman is 10. The target dummy from the dummmmmmy mod is set to 0, and a value of 0 blacklists that entity.[8]
- wellOfSuffering also lists dummmmmmy:target_dummy, which stops it from being used in the Well of Suffering.[8]
Living armour
default_upgrade_points is 100 and evolved_upgrade_points is 300. These are the upgrade points your living armour has by default and once evolved. The file shows both match the mod defaults.[8]
Sigil costs
These sigils charge LP each time you use them:[8]
- sigil_cost.air: 50[8]
- sigil_cost.blood_light: 10[8]
- sigil_cost.lava: 1,000[8]
- sigil_cost.teleposition: 1,000[8]
- sigil_cost.void: 50[8]
- sigil_cost.water: 100[8]
These ones are toggles with an upkeep, drained every 5 seconds while active:[8]
- sigil_cost.fast_miner: 100[8]
- sigil_cost.frost: 100[8]
- sigil_cost.green_grove: 150[8]
- sigil_cost.magnetism: 50[8]
- sigil_cost.suppression: 400[8]
Rituals
makeDungeonRitualCreativeOnly is false in this pack. If you run a server and don't trust your players, turning it on means the dungeon spawning ritual can only be activated with a Creative Activation Crystal, which protects other people's bases.[8]
The Geode Ritual has its own block of options. [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.activation_cost]] is 50,000 and [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.max_budding_blocks]] is 7 (allowed range 1 to 15). Each of the five will minimums is 50: [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_raw_will]], [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_steadfast_will]], [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_corrosive_will]], [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_destructive_will]] and [[config:config/bloodmagic-common.toml#Geode Ritual.min_vengeful_will]].[8]
Client options
- client.sigilHoldingSkipsEmptySlots is false. The Sigil of Holding therefore behaves like the default hotbar when you cycle, instead of skipping empty slots. Set it to true if you want it to jump to the next occupied slot.[43]
- client.alwaysRenderRoutingLines is false in this pack.[43]
What changed in Blood Magic between versions?
Project Infinity 0.1 0.0.51.4-hotfix-2 ships Blood Magic 3.3.8-50. The pack has had Blood Magic since 0.0.45.4 or earlier, so it was already in the pack before this release.[2]
Here are the notable fixes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first. Version 3.3.8 is the one you're running.[2][44][45][46]
- 3.3.8: Meteors fall more smoothly and are less likely to spontaneously fall through any blocks that happen to be in their way.[44]
- 3.3.7: Recent changes to the Sigil of Holding's logic meant it could sometimes turn into one of the sigils it was holding. It's now better at holding sigils, particularly the Lava Sigil and Water Sigil.[45]
- 3.3.5: A missing recipe serializer that prevented people from joining servers was found and put back where it belongs.[46]
If you run a server, that last fix is the one to remember. Since the pack ships 3.3.8, which is newer than all of these versions, you are running a build that comes after each of these fixes.[2][44][45][46]
