What is AvaritiaNeo?
2 parts
AvaritiaNeo is an unofficial remaster of the classic Avaritia mod for modern Minecraft. This pack ships version 1.3.1. It is the endgame "go big" mod: you build absurdly powerful gear and compress materials into singularities.[1][2]
What it does
- Crafting in a 9x9 Extreme Crafting Table.[1]
- Compressing materials into singularities in the Neutronium Compressor.[1]
- Collecting Neutron Pile with the Neutron Collector.[1]
- Storing unlimited items in the Infinity Chest.[1]
- Powerful weapons, tools and armor, such as the Sword of the Cosmos, the World Breaker and the Infinity armor set.[1][3]
Open JEI, EMI or REI to look up any recipe in the mod.[1]
Where it fits in the pack
You meet this mod late in the World Engine questline. In the tier 4 chapter, the Crystal Matrix Block shows up as a task item next to the Draconic Evolution energy core and stabilizer, in quests "Draconic Core" quest and "Auto-Build The Draconic Upgrade" quest.[4]
The tier 5 chapter is where the mod really begins. Quest "Neutronium" quest asks for the Neutron Collector and a Neutronium Ingot. Quest "Singularities" quest asks for the Neutronium Compressor, an Infinity Singularity and a Draconic Evolution core. Then "Infinity Ingot" quest asks for an Infinity Ingot. After that, a quest in "Tier 5: Hyperion" asks for an Infinity Block together with an Oritech reactor reflector.[5]
The Infinity gear has its own quests in the gearing up chapter: the sword and bow in "Infinity Weapons" quest, one of the four tools in "Infinity Tools" quest, and the full armor set in "Infinity Armor" quest.[3]
Singularities also act as ingredients for other mods' quests. The creative chapter has you hand in the Infinity sword and armor in "Ascension Tier 1 - Ethereal" quest. Later quests there ask for singularities, such as the Redstone Singularity, Json Singularity and Amethyst Singularity, alongside items from Create, Mekanism, Refined Storage and Draconic Evolution.[6]
Unverified No in-jar guidebook was found for this mod, and it is not on the ATM Star quest path, so there is no ATM Star route to describe here.
How do you get started with AvaritiaNeo?
4 parts
AvaritiaNeo is an unofficial remaster of the classic Avaritia mod for modern Minecraft. In this pack the order I'd go in is crystal matrix first, then neutronium, then the compressor, then singularities. You can check any recipe in JEI, EMI or REI.[1]
Step one: Crystal Matrix Ingot
Your first target is the Crystal Matrix Ingot, because the compressor recipe needs one. You start by turning diamonds into a Diamond Lattice, then use the lattice to make the ingot.[7][8]

Step two: Neutronium
Next you need Neutron Pile. A Neutron Collector collects it from the air, and the in-game advancement suggests using a chunk loader so it keeps working while you're away.[5][7][8]
This pack adds a second route: a Neutronium Chicken in a roost can also produce Neutron Pile.[7]
Roost Output (chicken_roost)
Neutronium Chicken
- any tier9orup seed
Recipe id: ftb:roosts/roost/c_neutron
This roost recipe is added by the pack and is not part of the base mod.
Once you have pile, turn it into a Neutron Nugget, then into a Neutronium Ingot. The quest "Neutronium" quest in the world engine tier 5 chapter asks for the collector and a neutronium ingot.[5][7]
Step three: The Neutronium Compressor
The Neutronium Compressor is crafted in the 9x9 Extreme Crafting Table. The mod's advancements describe that table as the end of a chain: nine crafting tables become a compressed crafting table, and nine compressed ones become an extreme crafting table.[1][7][8]
The compressor recipe also uses a Neutronium Block, so make one from your ingots first.[7]

Step four: Singularities and the Infinity line
The compressor turns storage blocks into singularities, for example the Iron Singularity.[7][8]
Compressor (avaritia)
- any iron storage block
Recipe id: avaritia:iron_singularity
The pack also adds extra compressor recipes that output Json Singularity, and it changes the Red Matter one. These are pack-specific, so don't expect them from the base mod. Stock up on singularities, since Redstone Singularity and the json singularity appear in many tasks in the creative quest chapter.[6][7]
The big milestone is the Infinity Singularity, which is crafted in the extreme crafting table. The quest "Singularities" quest asks for the compressor, that singularity and a Draconic Evolution core. After that comes "Infinity Ingot" quest, which asks for an Infinity Ingot.[5][8]
Infinity ingots can be packed into an Infinity Block, and a block can be turned back into ingots. The pack also asks for the block in later quests.[5][7][9]
How does AvaritiaNeo work?
7 parts
AvaritiaNeo is an unofficial remaster of Avaritia, and its machinery is simple: a 9x9 crafting table, a compressor for singularities, a collector that gathers neutron pile from the air, and a chest that stores unlimited items. This section covers how those pieces work in this pack.[1]
Extreme crafting
The top-tier recipes are made in the 9x9 Extreme Crafting Table. You reach it through a chain of upgrades: nine crafting tables become a compressed crafting table, and nine compressed crafting tables become an extreme crafting table. Recipe viewers like JEI, EMI or REI list these recipes.[1][8]
The extreme table crafts the Neutronium Compressor, the infinity ingot, the infinity catalyst, the infinity chest and the infinity singularity.[8]

The Neutronium Compressor is itself an extreme crafting table recipe.
Neutronium Compressor and singularities
The Neutronium Compressor turns materials into singularities. Its recipes use their own recipe type, so look for the Neutronium Compressor category in your recipe viewer.[1][7][8]
- Iron, gold, copper, redstone, lapis, diamond and netherite all have a singularity made in the compressor, for example Iron Singularity, Gold Singularity and Netherite Singularity.[7]
- Amethyst Singularity is made in the compressor as well.[7]
Compressor (avaritia)

Singularities added by the pack
The pack adds extra compressor recipes for materials from other mods, including Duratium, Energite, Fortron-Infused, Infused Enderpearl and Uraninite, plus an enderium one. It also changed the Red Matter recipe. In the recipe dump all of these give Json Singularity.[7]

Neutron Collector and the neutronium chain
The Neutron Collector gathers Neutron Pile from the air. The mod's own advancement suggests using a chunk loader with it so it keeps working while you are away. The pack leaves the collector's production setting at the mod default: general.neutronCollector.productionTicks is 7,111.[7][8][10]
The neutronium chain runs from Neutron Pile to Neutron Nugget, then Neutronium Ingot, then Neutronium Block. Every step can also be undone, so you can break a block back down to ingots, nuggets and pile.[7]

Crystal Matrix and Infinity blocks
Diamond Lattice is processed into a Crystal Matrix Ingot. Crystal matrix, infinity and neutronium ingots can all be compacted into blocks, and each block can be turned back into ingots.[7][8]

Infinity Chest
The Infinity Chest stores unlimited items. In this pack general.infinityChest.maxStackSize is 2,147,483,647, which is the mod default. The listed range for the option is anything above 64.[1][10]
Infinity armor and Skullfire Sword settings
Infinity armor has toggles for clearing bad effects, clearing fire, high jump, night vision, speed and step height. The server config adds clearing frozen and a fly speed value. In this pack all the toggles are enabled, and the speed and fly speed values are 1, the mod default, within a range of 0.1 to 2.0. See general.infinityArmor.speedValue and general.infinityArmor.flySpeedValue. The common config repeats most of these options with the same values.[10][11]
The Skullfire Sword beheads skeletons and scorches them black. Its drop setting, general.skullfireSword.dropChange, is 100 in the pack. That is the mod default, and the range is 0 to 100. The pack also adds a smithing recipe for the sword.[7][8][10][11]
This smithing recipe was added by the pack.
How do you progress through AvaritiaNeo?
6 parts
AvaritiaNeo is a late-game mod, and this pack spreads its progression across several quest chapters. The Crystal Matrix shows up in the World Engine tier 4 chapter, Neutronium and the Infinity items in the tier 5 chapter, and the Infinity gear in the gearing up and creative chapters. The quests have no titles, so this section refers to them by ID.[3][4][5][6]
Crystal Matrix (World Engine tier 4)
The Crystal Matrix appears in the tier 4 chapter. Quests "Draconic Core" quest and "Auto-Build The Draconic Upgrade" quest each ask for a Crystal Matrix Block, together with a Draconic Evolution energy core and an energy core stabilizer. The recipes for the Diamond Lattice, the Crystal Matrix Ingot and the block are shown below.[4][7]

Neutronium (World Engine tier 5)
Quest "Neutronium" quest in the tier 5 chapter asks for a Neutron Collector and a Neutronium Ingot. The recipes for the Neutron Nugget and the ingot are shown below.[5][7]
The pack adds its own source of Neutron Pile: a roost recipe where a Neutronium Chicken produces it.[7]

Compressor and Infinity
Quest "Singularities" quest asks for the Neutronium Compressor, an Infinity Singularity, and one Draconic Evolution core. The core can be a draconium, awakened or chaotic core. The Neutronium Compressor itself is crafted from Crystal Matrix and Neutronium items, so the earlier steps feed straight into it.[5][7]

After that, "Infinity Ingot" quest asks for the Infinity Ingot. Quest a quest in "Tier 5: Hyperion" then asks for an Infinity Block plus an Oritech reactor reflector. Quest "Auto-Build The Infinity Upgrade" quest asks for the same pair, and a bounty board quest, "Infinity Block Trade" quest, also wants an Infinity Block.[5][9]
Singularities in this pack
Singularities are made in the compressor. Several come straight from the mod, including the Iron Singularity, Gold Singularity, Diamond Singularity and Netherite Singularity.[7]
The pack also adds extra compressor recipes for Duratium, Enderium, Energite, Fortron-Infused, Infused Enderpearl and Uraninite singularities. Each one produces Json Singularity. The Red Matter singularity recipe is marked as changed by the pack, and it also outputs that item.[7]
This compressor recipe is changed by the pack.
Several late quests ask for singularities as task items. Quest "God of the World" quest wants the Infinity, Copper, Iron, Gold, Lapis, Redstone, Diamond and Netherite singularities, plus the Json one. Other quests, such as "Creative Spellbook" quest with the Amethyst Singularity, ask for a single one.[6]
Infinity gear
The gearing up chapter asks for the Infinity gear across several quests. Quest "Infinity Weapons" quest wants the Sword of the Cosmos and the Longbow of the Heavens. Quest "Infinity Tools" quest accepts any one of the pickaxe, axe, shovel or hoe. Quest "Infinity Armor" quest wants the helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots.[3]
The creative chapter continues from there. Quest "Ascension Tier 1 - Ethereal" quest asks for the Infinity Sword and all four armor pieces. Several follow-up quests come after it, including "Creative Wireless Universal Grid" quest, "Infinity Power Card" quest, "Creative Memory Chip" quest and "Creative Motor" quest.[6]
Bonus: Skullfire Sword
The pack adds a smithing recipe for the Skullfire Sword.[7]
How does AvaritiaNeo work with other mods?
6 parts
Most of this mod's links to other mods come from recipes the pack added itself. Many are custom machine recipes with world_engine in their ids, and they pull in items from Oritech, ProjectE, Draconic Evolution, Mekanism and more.[7]
Singularities from other mods' items
The Neutronium Compressor has several pack-added singularity recipes for items from other mods, listed below. The singularity recipe for Red Matter was changed by the pack rather than added.[7]
- Oritech: Duratium Ingot has a pack-added singularity recipe.[7]
- Oritech: Energite Ingot has a pack-added singularity recipe.[7]
- FTB: Fortron-Infused Ingot has a pack-added singularity recipe.[7]
- RFTools Base: Infused Enderpearl has a pack-added singularity recipe.[7]
- Powah: Uraninite has a pack-added singularity recipe.[7]
This recipe was changed by the pack.
This recipe was added by the pack.
Singularities also show up in quests that mix in other mods. These are all in the creative chapter:[6]
- "Infinity Power Card" quest asks for an Json Singularity next to MFFS items and a Mekanism Ultimate Induction Cell.[6]
- "Creative Controller" quest combines Refined Storage processors with a Json Singularity and the Infinite Energy Storage Part.[6]
- "Creative Spellbook" quest pairs the Ars Nouveau Archmage Spell Book with the Amethyst Singularity.[6]

Which FTB StoneBlock 4 quests use AvaritiaNeo?
5 parts
Avaritia shows up in several quest chapters in this pack: Gearing Up, World Engine tier 4, World Engine tier 5, Bounty Board and Creative. The quests are untitled in the quest data, so I point to them by ID. Here is what each chapter asks for, in dependency order where the data gives one.[3][4][5][6][9]
Gearing Up
This is the friendliest place to start. The quest data lists no prerequisite for any of these, and they ask for the Infinity gear itself.[3]
- "Infinity Weapons" quest wants the Sword of the Cosmos and the Longbow of the Heavens.[3]
- "Infinity Tools" quest accepts any one of the World Breaker, Nature's Ruin, Planet Eater or Hoe of the Green Earth.[3]
- "Infinity Armor" quest wants the full armor set: Infinity Helmet, Infinity Chestplate, Infinity Leggings and Infinity Boots.[3]
World Engine tier 4
Here Avaritia only appears as a side requirement. "Draconic Core" quest asks for an Energy Core Stabilizer, an Energy Core and a Crystal Matrix Block. "Auto-Build The Draconic Upgrade" quest asks for the same three items and unlocks after "Draconic Core" quest plus one other quest.[4]
World Engine tier 5
This chapter is where you build toward the Infinity Ingot. The order below follows the quest dependencies.[5]
- "Neutronium" quest asks for the Neutron Collector and the Neutronium Ingot. It comes after one other quest in the chapter.[5]
- "Singularities" quest asks for the Neutronium Compressor, an Infinity Singularity, and one of the Draconic Evolution cores: draconium, awakened or chaotic. It requires two earlier quests.[5]
- "Infinity Ingot" quest asks for the Infinity Ingot and comes right after the previous quest.[5]
- a quest in "Tier 5: Hyperion" follows it and asks for an Infinity Block plus an Reactor Neutron Reflector. "Auto-Build The Infinity Upgrade" quest has the same tasks but hangs off a different earlier quest.[5]
Bounty Board
"Infinity Block Trade" quest asks for an Infinity Block. It unlocks after "Infinity Ingot" quest (the Infinity Ingot quest) and one other quest.[5][9]
Creative
This chapter uses a lot of singularities. It starts from "Ascension Tier 1 - Ethereal" quest, which asks for the Sword of the Cosmos and the four Infinity armor pieces. The rest branches out from there.[6]
- "Creative Wireless Universal Grid" quest, "Infinity Power Card" quest, "Creative Memory Chip" quest and "Creative Motor" quest all unlock after "Ascension Tier 1 - Ethereal" quest. Between them they ask for the Redstone Singularity, Json Singularity, Copper Singularity, Iron Singularity and Gold Singularity, mixed in with items from other mods.[6]
- "Creative Energy Cell" quest and "Creative Controller" quest each ask for a Json Singularity along with storage and processor items from other mods.[6]
- "Creative Spellbook" quest needs both of those two quests done first. It asks for an Amethyst Singularity along with two items from the Ars mods.[6]
- "Ascension Tier 3 - Omniscient" quest comes next. It asks for a Redstone Singularity and a Json Singularity plus Mekanism and Draconic Evolution items.[6]
- "God of the World" quest comes after that. It asks for the Infinity Singularity and a long run of other singularities, including Lapis Singularity, Diamond Singularity and Netherite Singularity, plus three Create items and a shattered singularity from Advanced AE.[6]
Which AvaritiaNeo config options matter?
4 parts
Good news first: every option in this section that shows a mod default is set to exactly that default in this pack. The pack changed none of the numeric values I can verify, so what you see below is stock AvaritiaNeo behavior.[10][11]
Infinity Armor toggles
In the server file, these Infinity Armor toggles are set to true: general.infinityArmor.clearBadEffect, general.infinityArmor.clearFire, general.infinityArmor.clearFrozen, general.infinityArmor.highJump, general.infinityArmor.nightVision, general.infinityArmor.speed and general.infinityArmor.stepHeight.[10]
The common file has a similar set, also all true: general.infinityArmor.clearBadEffect, general.infinityArmor.clearFire, general.infinityArmor.highJump, general.infinityArmor.nightVision, general.infinityArmor.speed and general.infinityArmor.stepHeight.[11]
Speed values
- general.infinityArmor.speedValue is 1, which is the mod default. The allowed range is 0.1 to 2.0.[11]
- general.infinityArmor.speedValue is also 1, the mod default, with the same 0.1 to 2.0 range.[10]
- general.infinityArmor.flySpeedValue is 1, the mod default, with a range of 0.1 to 2.0.[10]
Machines and storage
- general.infinityChest.maxStackSize is 2,147,483,647, the mod default. The range is anything above 64.[10]
- general.neutronCollector.productionTicks is 7,111, the mod default. The range is anything above 1. This is the value to look at if you want to change how fast the Neutron Collector produces.[10]
Skullfire Sword
The drop chance option is 100 in both files, which is the mod default, and its range is 0 to 100. That is general.skullfireSword.dropChange in the common file and general.skullfireSword.dropChange in the server file.[10][11]
What changed in AvaritiaNeo between versions?
FTB StoneBlock 4 1.21.0 ships AvaritiaNeo 1.3.1. The mod has been in the pack since 1.0.0 or earlier. I have no pack changelog entries for this mod, so everything below comes from the mod's own changelogs, newest first.[2]
- 1.3.1 (the version in your pack): fixes an Iris compat problem and a crash.[2][12]
- 1.3.0: fixes the EMI recipe handler and adds a centered recipe display. It also adds log chaining to Nature's Ruin, dynamic textures for the Planet Eater, and a clearFrozen config option.[13]
- 1.2.9: fixes tool mining range and adds two missing recipes, un_crystal_matrix_block and un_neutronium_block.[14]
- 1.2.8: adds Iris compat, a pt_br.json language file and a productionTicks config option.[15]
- 1.2.7: fixes a singularities reload issue introduced in 1.2.6 and fixes a crash. It also adds a flySpeed config option.[16]
- 1.2.5: adds EMI compat.[17]
Iris compat first arrived in 1.2.8 and got a follow-up fix in 1.3.1. EMI support arrived in 1.2.5, and its recipe handler was fixed in 1.3.0.[12][13][15][17]
