What is Powah!?
2 parts
Powah! is a tech mod built entirely around energy: making it, storing it and moving it where you need it. This pack runs version 6.1.6. It's a good fit if you want a single mod that covers your whole power setup, from your first generator to wireless charging.[1][2]
What it adds
- Power generation: Furnators, Magmators, Solar Panels, Thermo Generators and the Reactor multiblocks.[1]
- Storage and transport: classic Energy Cables and Energy Cells.[1]
- Unique mechanics: the upgradable Ender Network, Player Transmitters, the Energizing crafting system, and gadgets like the Charged Snowball.[1]
Where it fits in this pack
This pack gives Powah! its own quest chapter. It kicks off with Raw Uraninite, then has you make Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. Grab a Basic Capacitor (Tiny) as well and the Starter tier opens up, with quests for the Furnator (Starter), Solar Panel (Starter), Reactor (Starter), Energy Cell (Starter) and more.[3]
Energizing is the big unlock. The a quest in "?" quest asks for an Energizing Orb along with a cable and an energizing rod. Complete it and it leads straight into Energized Steel and the four crystals: Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Spirited Crystal and Nitro Crystal.[3]
From there you climb the tiers. The Basic Capacitor unlocks the Basic versions of your machines, and Energized Steel leads into Hardened ones like the Reactor (Hardened) and Energy Cable (Hardened). Each crystal then points you toward gear from its own tier, such as the Ender Cell (Spirited) after the Spirited Crystal.[3]
How do you get started with Powah!?
5 parts
Powah! is a tech mod all about energy: generating it, storing it and moving it around. You get generators like Furnators, Magmators, Solar Panels, Thermo Generators and Reactor multiblocks, plus Energy Cables, Energy Cells, Player Transmitters and an Energizing crafting system.[1]
The pack's Powah! quest chapter lays out a clear path through the early game. Here it is step by step, using the real in-pack recipes.[3]
Step 1: Get some Raw Uraninite
The very first quest in the chapter, a quest in "?", just asks you to get Raw Uraninite. The pack adds its own recipes that turn uraninite ores (poor, regular and dense) into Raw Uraninite. These use crushing from Actually Additions, enriching from Mekanism and SAG milling from Ender IO, so use whichever of those machines you already have.[3][4]
Enriching (mekanism)

Step 2: Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing
Next, quest a quest in "?" asks for Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. Almost everything else in the chapter unlocks after this one, so make these early. The paste has two recipes, so pick whichever fits what you have. The pack changed the Dielectric Casing recipe, so check the recipe below rather than relying on older guides.[3][4]

Step 3: Capacitors
After the paste and casing, the chapter branches into two capacitor quests: a quest in "?" for Basic Capacitor (Tiny) and a quest in "?" for Basic Capacitor. The pack changed the Basic Capacitor recipe. You make the Tiny one by crafting a Basic Capacitor on its own. The Tiny capacitor quest unlocks the Starter tier gear, and the Basic capacitor quest is required for the Basic tier.[3][4]

Step 4: Pick your Starter gear
With the paste, casing and Tiny capacitor quests done, the whole Starter tier opens up at once. You can build whichever pieces suit your base:[3]
- Generators: Furnator (Starter), Magmator (Starter), Thermo Generator (Starter), Solar Panel (Starter) and Reactor (Starter).[3]
- Storage and transfer: Energy Cell (Starter), Energy Cable (Starter), Battery (Starter), Energy Hopper (Starter) and Energy Discharger (Starter).[3]
- Utility: Energizing Rod (Starter), plus Player Transmitter (Starter) together with a Binding Card, whose recipe the pack also changed.[3][4]
The pack changed the recipes for the Starter Energy Cable and the Starter Battery, so here are the in-pack versions.[4]

Step 5: Start Energizing
Quest a quest in "?" asks for an Energizing Orb, an Energy Cable (Starter or Basic) and an Energizing Rod (Starter or Basic). This quest is the gateway to the progression materials. Energized Steel, Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Spirited Crystal and Nitro Crystal all unlock after it, and those materials lead into the higher tiers.[3]

How does Powah! work?
7 parts
Powah! is all about energy. You generate it, store it and move it around. For generation you get Furnators, Magmators, Solar Panels, Thermo Generators and the big Reactor multiblocks. On top of the classic cables and cells, there's the upgradable Ender Network, Player Transmitters and the Energizing crafting system.[1]
Energy is measured in FE. Tooltips such as the charging speed show rates in FE/t, so keep that unit in mind when you compare Powah! gear with machines from other mods.[5]
The tier system
Almost every Powah! device comes in seven tiers. In order, they are Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro. The battery recipes follow this order, from Battery (Starter) all the way up to Battery (Nitro). Each tier has its own capacity and transfer rate in the pack's config.[4][6]
Generating power
The Furnator burns fuel for energy. In this pack, general.energy_per_fuel_tick is set to 30, so you get 30 energy for every tick of fuel burned. Longer-burning fuels give you proportionally more power.[6]
The Reactor is a multiblock generator. It has a generation mode that saves fuel: the reactor stops when it's full and starts again when it drops below 70% of its energy. That's handy if your base only pulls power now and then.[1][5]
Unverified The sources don't describe how to build the Reactor, what it burns, or how the Magmator, Solar Panels and Thermo Generators produce power in this pack. Check the in-game recipe viewer for details. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Moving energy with cables
Energy cables carry power between your generators, storage and machines. The config sets these transfer rates for each cable tier in this pack:[6]
- Starter: 500[6]
- Basic: 2,000[6]
- Hardened: 5,000[6]
- Blazing: 20,000[6]
- Niotic: 50,000[6]
- Spirited: 200,000[6]
- Nitro: 1,000,000[6]
Cables upgrade step by step. You start with Energy Cable (Starter) and work up to Energy Cable (Basic) and beyond.[4]

Recipe id: powah:crafting/cable_basic
Upgrading to the Basic cable
Storing energy: batteries, cells and dischargers
Batteries hold a lot of energy for their size. Here are their capacity and transfer rate in this pack:[6]
- Battery (Starter): 1,000,000 capacity, 1,000 transfer rate[6]
- Battery (Basic): 4,000,000 capacity, 4,000 transfer rate[6]
- Battery (Hardened): 10,000,000 capacity, 10,000 transfer rate[6]
- Battery (Blazing): 40,000,000 capacity, 40,000 transfer rate[6]
- Battery (Niotic): 100,000,000 capacity, 100,000 transfer rate[6]
- Battery (Spirited): 400,000,000 capacity, 400,000 transfer rate[6]
- Battery (Nitro): 2,000,000,000 capacity, 2,000,000 transfer rate[6]
In this pack, Energy Cells and dischargers use exactly the same capacity and transfer rate as the battery of the same tier. Once you know the battery numbers, you know those too.[1][6]

The Ender Network
The Ender Network is Powah!'s upgradable wireless energy system, and it's built from ender cells and ender gates. Higher tiers get more channels and faster transfer. Here's how each tier is set up in this pack:[1][6]
- Starter: 1 channel, ender cell transfer 1,000, ender gate transfer 500[6]
- Basic: 2 channels, ender cell transfer 4,000, ender gate transfer 2,000[6]
- Hardened: 3 channels, ender cell transfer 10,000, ender gate transfer 5,000[6]
- Blazing: 5 channels, ender cell transfer 40,000, ender gate transfer 20,000[6]
- Niotic: 7 channels, ender cell transfer 100,000, ender gate transfer 50,000[6]
- Spirited: 9 channels, ender cell transfer 400,000, ender gate transfer 200,000[6]
- Nitro: 12 channels, ender cell transfer 2,000,000, ender gate transfer 1,000,000[6]
Notice that ender gates move half as much energy as ender cells of the same tier. Their rates match the cables instead.[6]
Energizing
Energizing is Powah!'s own crafting system, and it runs on energy. The rods that feed it are tiered like everything else. In this pack, general.energizing_energy_ratio is set to 1.[1][6]
- Starter rods: 40,000 capacity, 200 transfer rate[6]
- Basic rods: 160,000 capacity, 800 transfer rate[6]
- Hardened rods: 400,000 capacity, 2,000 transfer rate[6]
- Blazing rods: 1,600,000 capacity, 8,000 transfer rate[6]
- Niotic rods: 4,000,000 capacity, 20,000 transfer rate[6]
- Spirited rods: 16,000,000 capacity, 80,000 transfer rate[6]
- Nitro rods: 80,000,000 capacity, 400,000 transfer rate[6]
Unverified The sources don't explain how to lay out an Energizing setup, what the energy ratio option changes in practice, or which items are energized. Use the in-game recipe viewer to check. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Cards, pearls and mob tricks
Some Powah! items are upgraded by using them on specific mobs. All three of these conversions are enabled in this pack:[5][6]
- Use a Binding Card on an Enderman or Endermite to get a Dimensional Binding card. It's enabled by general.dimensional_binding_card.[5][6]
- Use a Photoelectric Pane on an Enderman or Endermite to get a Lens Of Ender. It's enabled by general.lens_of_ender.[5][6]
- Use an Aerial Pearl on a Zombie or Husk to get a Player Aerial Pearl. It's enabled by general.player_aerial_pearl.[5][6]
The Binding Card's tooltip tells you to right click to bind it. The pack has changed its recipe, and it starts from a Blank Card.[4][5]

Unverified The sources don't say what the Binding Card binds to, or what the Dimensional Binding card, Lens Of Ender and Player Aerial Pearl are used for. The config also has tiered hopper entries with capacities and charging rates, but no source describes that device, so it's left out here.
How do you progress through Powah!?
6 parts
The pack has its own quest chapter for Powah!, and it gives you a clear path through every tier. It starts by asking for Raw Uraninite in a quest in "?". Next, a quest in "?" asks for Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. Almost everything else in the chapter branches off from that quest.[3]
The tier ladder
Machines, cables, cells and batteries come in the same tier order: Starter, Basic, Hardened, Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro. In the quests, each tier of a machine sits behind the tier before it, and most tiers are also gated by one key material.[3]
- Starter: most Starter items unlock once you've done the dielectric quest and a quest in "?", which asks for Basic Capacitor (Tiny). That covers the Furnator (Starter), Magmator (Starter), Thermo Generator (Starter), Solar Panel (Starter), Reactor (Starter), Energy Cell (Starter), Battery (Starter), Energy Cable (Starter) and more.[3]
- Basic: each Basic item needs its Starter version plus a quest in "?", the Basic Capacitor quest.[3]
- Hardened: each Hardened item needs its Basic version plus a quest in "?", which asks for Energized Steel.[3]
- Blazing: each Blazing item needs its Hardened version plus a quest in "?", the Blazing Crystal quest.[3]
- Niotic: most Niotic items only need the Blazing version. The Energy Cable (Niotic) and Energizing Rod (Niotic) also need a quest in "?", the Niotic Crystal quest.[3]
- Spirited: most Spirited items only need the Niotic version. The Energy Cable (Spirited) and Energizing Rod (Spirited) also need a quest in "?", the Spirited Crystal quest.[3]
- Nitro: each Nitro item needs its Spirited version plus a quest in "?", the Nitro Crystal quest.[3]
Getting your materials going
The key materials all hang off one quest, a quest in "?". It asks for an Energizing Orb, a Starter or Basic energy cable and a Starter or Basic energizing rod. Once it's done, the quests for Energized Steel and all four crystals open up. Setting up that orb early is your ticket past the Basic tier.[3]
Unverified The exact in-pack recipes that make Energized Steel and the Blazing, Niotic, Spirited and Nitro crystals in the Energizing Orb are not in the recipe data available here, so check them in-game. This site does hold All the Mods 10's own recipes, read from the pack itself: look the item up in the item browser.
Side branches: Energy Dischargers, Ender Cells and Ender Gates
Not everything follows the strict one-after-another chain. From Hardened upwards, the Energy Discharger and Ender Cell quests unlock straight from that tier's material quest. For example, Energy Discharger (Blazing) and Ender Cell (Blazing) only need the Blazing Crystal quest. Ender Gates follow the cables instead: each Ender Gate quest comes after the energy cable quest of the same tier.[3]
Recipes the pack changed
Heads up if you know Powah! from other packs: this pack changes several early and core recipes. The changed ones include the Basic Capacitor, the Dielectric Casing, the Energy Cable (Starter), one of the Energy Cable (Basic) recipes, the Starter and Basic Ender Cells, the Binding Card and every battery from Starter to Nitro. The blocks below show the exact in-pack versions.[4]

Powah! in other quest chapters
The main questline accepts Powah! gear as one of several options for its early power quests. a quest in "?" takes a Starter or Basic Magmator, a quest in "?" takes a Solar Panel (Basic), a quest in "?" takes an Energy Cable (Basic) and a quest in "?" takes an Energy Cell (Starter).[8]
Other chapters reach much further up the tiers. The allthemodium chapter has a quest in "?" for the Energizing Orb. a quest in "?" asks for a Player Transmitter (Nitro). At the very top, a quest in "?" wants the Energy Cell (Creative), which the pack makes craftable with an Energizing recipe.[4][9][10][11]

How does Powah! work with other mods?
3 parts
Powah! is well connected in this pack. Its crystals, Energized Steel and Uraninite can be farmed through other mods, its storage blocks compress further, and several of the pack's own endgame recipes need high-tier Powah gear. The Energizing crafting system also handles a few recipes that belong to other mods.[1][4]
Farming Powah materials
If you run Mystical Agriculture, you can craft essence straight into Blazing Crystal, Energized Steel, Niotic Crystal, Spirited Crystal and Uraninite. Nitro Crystal comes from a Mystical Agradditions essence recipe instead, and it's a bit pricier than the others.[4]
Shaped No Mirror (cucumber)

The Nitro Crystal essence recipe
Productive Bees uses your Energizing Orb to make Powah-themed bees. You energize a configurable bee with a Block of Blazing, Niotic, Nitro or Spirited Crystal, or a Block of Energized Steel, and you get the bee back along with a Spawn Egg Configurable Bee.[4]
Energizing (powah)

The other crystal and Energized Steel bees work the same way
Once your bees are going, the centrifuge turns their honeycombs into the matching Powah material plus Wax. The Uraninite comb gives Raw Uraninite rather than finished Uraninite.[4]
Modern Industrialization quarries in this pack can also dig up Uraninite Ore. It's on the output list for the pack-added quarry recipes using the Steel Drill, Allthemodium Drill and Unobtainium Drill.[4]
Compressed storage
All the Compressed adds 1x compressed versions of Powah's storage blocks: the Blocks of Blazing, Niotic, Nitro and Spirited Crystal, the Block Of Energized Steel and the Block Of Uraninite. Every one of them can be crafted back into the original block whenever you need it.[4]
There's also a shortcut for Blazing Crystal. You can energize a Blaze Rod Block directly into a Block Of Blazing Crystal, so you don't have to make the crystals one at a time.[4]
Energizing (powah)

Powah in endgame recipes
Nitro-tier Powah items show up in several recipes the pack added itself. The Energy Cell (Creative) is made on the Energizing Orb from an ATM Star and a Nitro Energy Cell.[4]
Energizing (powah)

- The Nexium Emitter needs a Player Transmitter (Nitro), alongside parts from several other tech mods.[4]
- Iron Jetpacks' creative parts all use Nitro-tier Powah items. The Capacitor uses a Reactor (Nitro), the Cell uses a Battery (Nitro), and the Thruster uses a Block Of Nitro Crystal.[4]
- Mystical Agradditions' Nitro Crystal Crux needs both a Nitro Capacitor and a Nitro Crystal.[4]

Which All the Mods 10 quests use Powah!?
2 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 4.5 guide
Powah gets its own dedicated quest chapter in this pack, and it also appears in a handful of other chapters. The Powah chapter takes you through every tier of the mod's machines, from Starter up to Nitro. The other chapters only ask for a few key items.[12][13][14][15][16][17]
The Powah chapter
Everything starts with Raw Uraninite in a quest in "?". After that, a quest in "?" asks for Dielectric Paste and Dielectric Casing. That quest is the gateway to the rest of the chapter.[12]
- Capacitors come next. a quest in "?" wants a Basic Capacitor (Tiny), and a quest in "?" wants a Basic Capacitor. Both unlock right after the dielectric quest.[12]
- Also available after the dielectric quest is a quest in "?", your energizing setup. It asks for an Energizing Orb, a Starter or Basic energy cable, and a Starter or Basic energizing rod.[12]
- Starter tier: once you have the dielectric quest and the tiny capacitor, you get one quest per Starter machine. That covers the Magmator (Starter), Reactor (Starter), Energizing Rod (Starter), Energy Discharger (Starter), Furnator (Starter), Thermo Generator (Starter), Energy Hopper (Starter), Battery (Starter), Solar Panel (Starter), Energy Cell (Starter) and Energy Cable (Starter). There is also a quest in "?", which wants a Player Transmitter (Starter) plus either binding card.[12]
- Two Starter quests need extra steps. a quest in "?" (Ender Gate (Starter)) needs the Starter cable quest first. a quest in "?" (Ender Cell (Starter)) needs the Starter energy cell and Starter battery quests.[12]
- Basic tier: most Basic machine quests need the matching Starter quest plus the Basic Capacitor quest. The Energy Discharger (Basic) only needs the capacitor. The Ender Cell (Basic) needs the capacitor and the energizing setup quest. The Ender Gate (Basic) follows the Basic cable quest.[12]
- Materials: the energizing setup quest also branches into a quest in "?" (Energized Steel), plus one quest each for the Blazing Crystal, Niotic Crystal, Spirited Crystal and Nitro Crystal.[12]
- Hardened tier: each Hardened machine needs its Basic version plus the Energized Steel quest. The Hardened ender cell and energy discharger only need the steel. The Ender Gate (Hardened) follows the Hardened cable.[12]
- Blazing tier: each Blazing machine needs its Hardened version plus the Blazing Crystal quest. The Blazing ender cell and energy discharger only need the crystal.[12]
- Niotic and Spirited tiers: most machines simply follow their previous-tier version. The energy cable and energizing rod also need the matching crystal quest. The ender cell and energy discharger quests of each tier only need that tier's crystal, and each ender gate follows its tier's cable.[12]
- Nitro tier: every Nitro machine needs its Spirited version plus the Nitro Crystal quest. Again, the Nitro ender cell and energy discharger only need the crystal.[12]
Powah in other chapters
Part 1 of the main questline lets Powah items count toward early power goals, with other mods' options accepted too. a quest in "?" takes a Starter or Basic Magmator, or a Magmatic Generator. That leads into a quest in "?", which takes a Solar Panel (Basic) or a Mekanism solar generator. Separately, a quest in "?" accepts an Energy Cable (Basic) among other cables. It leads to a quest in "?", which accepts an Energy Cell (Starter) or a Mekanism basic energy cube.[13]
- The Basic Power chapter has a quest in "?", which asks for Uraninite.[17]
- The Allthemodium chapter has a quest in "?", which asks for an Energizing Orb.[16]
- One of the star chapters starts with a quest in "?" (Dielectric Paste). It then leads to a quest in "?", which wants a Player Transmitter (Nitro).[14]
- Another star chapter includes a quest in "?", which asks for an Energy Cell (Creative).[15]
Which Powah! config options matter?
4 parts
Same as in the All the Mods 10 8.1 guide
Powah! is highly configurable, and nearly every generator, cable, battery and cell gets its numbers from the pack's config file. You don't need to edit anything to play, but knowing these values helps you plan your power setup. Below are the settings most likely to matter to you, exactly as All the Mods 10 8.1 ships them.[18]
Unverified The available sources don't list Powah!'s default config values, so it's unconfirmed whether All the Mods 10 changed any of these numbers from the mod's defaults. Treat everything below as the pack's value, not as a comparison to vanilla Powah!.
General settings
- general.energy_per_fuel_tick is set to 30. This is the energy the Furnator produces per fuel tick.[18]
- general.energizing_range is set to 4, and general.energizing_energy_ratio is set to 1. Both apply to the Energizing crafting system. The config file doesn't describe what the ratio does.[1][18]
- general.dimensional_binding_card is enabled. You get a Dimensional Binding Card by right-clicking an Enderman or Endermite with a Binding Card.[18]
- general.lens_of_ender is enabled. You get a Lens Of Ender by right-clicking an Enderman or Endermite with a Photoelectric Pane.[18]
- general.player_aerial_pearl is enabled. You get a Player Aerial Pearl by right-clicking a Zombie or Husk with an Aerial Pearl.[18]
Tiers at a glance
Every device comes in seven tiers. Going by the config values, they climb from starter to basic, hardened, blazing, niotic, spirited and finally nitro. Energy Cells, batteries, dischargers, hoppers and Player Transmitters all share the same capacities, from 1,000,000 at starter up to 2,000,000,000 at nitro. Their transfer rates run from 1,000 at starter up to 2,000,000 at nitro.[18]
Energy Cables are set lower: 500 at starter, 2,000 at basic, 5,000 at hardened, 20,000 at blazing, 50,000 at niotic, 200,000 at spirited and 1,000,000 at nitro.[18]
Generators
- Reactors have by far the highest generation rates: 500 at starter, 2,000 at basic, 5,000 at hardened, 20,000 at blazing, 50,000 at niotic, 200,000 at spirited and 500,000 at nitro.[18]
- Solar Panels generate 40 at starter, climbing to 16,000 at spirited and 50,000 at nitro.[18]
- Furnators and Magmators share the same numbers: 80 at starter, 160 at basic, 400 at hardened, 1,000 at blazing, 2,000 at niotic, 8,000 at spirited and 20,000 at nitro.[18]
- Thermo Generators are the weakest: 20 at starter, rising to 750 at spirited and 1,750 at nitro.[18]
Ender Network channels
Ender Cells and Ender Gates get more channels as you tier up: 1 at starter, 2 at basic, 3 at hardened, 5 at blazing, 7 at niotic, 9 at spirited and 12 at nitro. Ender Gates move energy at the same rates as cables, from 500 at starter to 1,000,000 at nitro. Ender Cells move it at the same rates as Energy Cells, from 1,000 to 2,000,000.[18]
Player Transmitters charge your gear at 500 at starter, up to 1,000,000 at nitro. Energizing Rods top out at a transfer rate of 400,000 at nitro, starting from 200 at starter.[18]
What changed in Powah! between versions?
1 part
Powah! has been part of All the Mods 10 for a long time: it was first included in version 1.9 of the pack or earlier, so it's been around for pretty much the whole life of the modpack.[2]
Mod updates in the pack
- All the Mods 10 2.31: Powah! was updated from 6.1.5 to 6.1.6.[19]
- All the Mods 10 2.41: the pack ships Powah! 6.1.6, the same version it moved to in 2.31.[2][19]
Unverified What actually changed between Powah! 6.1.5 and 6.1.6 (bug fixes, balance tweaks or new content) isn't covered by the available changelogs, so check the mod's own release notes if you need the details.
