AllTheModium in All the Mods 11

AllTheModium is the mod that adds the allthemodium, vibranium and unobtainium metals to the pack, along with smithing templates, armor and tools made from them. According to its project page, it is made by the ATM team and thevortexFoxTopia. This pack ships version 26.1.2-4.1.1.^[1][2]

Where the materials come from

The project page gives a short Q&A on finding each material. It describes the mod itself, so check JEI for the exact recipes in this pack.^[1]

• AllTheModium ingots: look in a Deep Dark, where they are found on the walls and the ceiling.^[1]
• AllTheModium smithing templates: brush Suspicious Clay in the Basalt of an Ancient City.^[1]
• Vibranium ingots: bring AllTheModium quality tools or better, then head to the Nether. Search the Crimson Forest or Warped Forest biomes for vibranium ore near the Nether ceiling at high Y levels, not near the floor.^[1]
• Vibranium smithing templates: find a Treasure Bastion Remnant and sift through Suspicious Soul Sand.^[1]
• Unobtainium smithing templates: travel to The Other and find a dungeon, then look for a library room with 2 spawners in 2 corners and loot all of its chests. The page also mentions doing the trial spawner as an alternative.^[1]
• Unobtainium ingots: they are found in the End Highlands and are described as very rare.^[1]

Allthemodium is the metal this mod is named after, and your first goal is to get ingots of it. Here is the order I would go in: find the metal, turn it into ingots, make a brush for the smithing templates, then upgrade your gear.^[1]

Find the metal

The mod's project page says you get Allthemodium by finding a Deep Dark, where it sits on the walls and the ceiling. The mod also has Allthemodium Ore and Deepslate Allthemodium Ore blocks.^[1][3]

Make ingots

Once you have Raw Allthemodium Ore, smelt it into an Allthemodium Ingot. The ore, the raw ore and the dust each have their own smelting and blasting recipes, so a furnace or a blast furnace both work.^[4]

If you have Ender IO set up, the pack adds Sag Mill recipes that turn Allthemodium Ore into raw ore plus cobblestone, and raw ore into Allthemodium Dust. Dust also has its own smelting recipe for an ingot, so you can run the whole chain from a machine.^[4]

Craft a brush

The project page says the Allthemodium smithing templates are found in the Ancient City, inside Suspicious Clay, and that you need a brush to sift through it. The mod has its own Allthemodium Brush that you can craft.^[1][4]

Later on

Once you have dust to spare, Productive Metalworks has a melting recipe that makes 90× Molten Allthemodium, and casting recipes that turn it back into ingots, gears and blocks. There is also a crafting recipe for the Block of Allthemodium.^[4]

AllTheModium doesn't bring its own machines. It adds items, ores, blocks, armor and tools, and the pack's other mods do the processing. This section follows the metal through those mods: where the ore comes from, how it is milled, melted, cast and smithed, and how the building blocks are made.^[1][3][4]

Where the ore comes from

Allthemodium Ingot is found in the Deep Dark, on the walls and the ceiling. The mod adds its ore feature to the deep dark biome at the underground ores generation step.^[1][5]

The mod also has an "ATM Mining Dim" biome. A set of biome modifiers adds ore features to it at the same step. Many of these are ores from other mods, among them Mystical Agriculture's inferium and prosperity, Powah's uraninite and Forbidden Arcanus' arcane crystal.^{[3][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]}

As one example, the Aggra inferium feature is placed with a count of 16, in a trapezoid height range from -63 to 63, and each vein has a size of 8. The sources here don't show the other placement values.^[14][15]

Processing raw ore and dust

Ore processing runs through other mods. The pack adds an Ender IO SAG Mill recipe that turns ore into Raw Allthemodium Ore with cobblestone as the other output. A second pack-added SAG Mill recipe makes Allthemodium Dust from the ingot.^[4]

You turn dust back into an ingot in either a furnace or a blast furnace, so both recipes work.^[4]

Melting and casting

Productive Metalworks handles the molten route. Its melting recipes for the dusts give 90 units of Molten Allthemodium and 90 units of Molten Unobtainium. The metal also exists in the world as a block and as a bucket item.^[3][4]

You can also make the block by hand-crafting, and the compressed-block mod gives a shapeless recipe that turns a compressed block back into 9 Blocks of Allthemodium.^[4]

Smithing templates and gear

Tools and armor come from smithing transform recipes, and 33 of them make AllTheModium items. Two examples are the Allthemodium Axe and the Allthemodium Boots. Each tier has its own template (allthemodium, vibranium and unobtainium), and the template tooltips show a base item slot and an addition slot.^[3][4]

The mod's project page says where the templates are found:^[1]

The mod revolves around three metals: Allthemodium, Vibranium and Unobtainium. Each has its own raw ore, dust, nugget and storage block, for example Raw Allthemodium Ore, Vibranium Dust and Unobtainium Nugget. This page follows how the pack's recipes let you refine them and combine them into alloys.^[4]

Unverified The sources here show no quests in the pack's quest book for this mod, and the mod is not on the ATM Star path. They do not confirm a quest-guided order for the three metals, so check the quest book yourself for any hints.

Turning ore into ingots

Allthemodium is the metal with the most recipes in the sources. You can smelt or blast an Allthemodium Ingot from its ore, from raw ore or from dust.^[4]

The pack also adds Ender IO SAG milling recipes for all three metals. The ore recipes output the raw ore of each metal plus cobblestone, and the raw ore recipes output dust. There is also a SAG milling recipe that gives Allthemodium Dust.^[4]

Other ways to get the metals

• Mystical Agriculture essence crafting recipes added by the pack give an Allthemodium Nugget, an Unobtainium Nugget and a Vibranium Nugget.^[4]
• Productive Bees centrifuge recipes for the Allthemodium, Unobtainium and Vibranium honeycombs each output a nugget of that metal plus wax.^[4]

Melting and casting

Productive Metalworks can melt each metal. Melting dust gives 90 units of molten metal (Molten Allthemodium, Molten Unobtainium or Molten Vibranium). Melting an Allthemodium or Unobtainium gear gives 720.^[4]

For casting, Allthemodium has recipes for its ingot, nugget, plate, rod, gear and block. Unobtainium and Vibranium each have a block casting recipe in the sources.^[4]

Tools, armor and food

The Allthemodium axe, hoe, helmet, chestplate and boots are made with smithing recipes, not normal crafting. The Allthemodium Apple, Carrot and Brush have their own crafting recipes.^[4]

Ancient stone and wood

Ancient Stone can come from a Cobblegen Galore block generator recipe. Smelting or blasting it gives Smooth Ancient Stone, and stonecutting gives slabs, stairs and walls. The pack also adds sawmill recipes from Productive Trees that turn 2 sawdust into 6 Ancient Planks.^[4]

Loot

The mod's generic chest loot table can roll 25 to 50 Allthemodium Nuggets or 4 to 8 Vibranium Nuggets. The sources show no Unobtainium entry in that table.^[16]

The mod's arch loot table holds a single Allthemodium upgrade smithing template.^[17]

In this pack, AllTheModium connects to other mods through recipes: Productive Trees for its wood-style planks and Productive Bees for its metal nuggets. The sources here show no quests that involve the mod, so these recipes are the whole picture.^[4]

Productive Trees: planks from sawdust

The pack adds sawmill recipes that turn Sawdust into AllTheModium planks. Each recipe takes 2 sawdust and gives you 6 planks. It works for Ancient Planks, Demonic Planks and Soul Planks.^[4]

Productive Bees has centrifuge recipes under its own atm folder that give you the three AllTheModium metals as nuggets, each together with Wax.
